Don't talk to me about being insane and obsessed.
1)I gave away a 1/2 years worth of points I earned through this thing on my radio station so I could get 2 sneak peek passes for AOTC, and took off the last part of that week as vacation time because I knew I'd be spending my vacation time in the movie theater. I was right. Saw it 4 times opening weekend. I only saw TPM twice opening weekend.
2) Went to an actual SW convention back in 1997 so I could get autographs from David Prowse, Kenny Baker, Jeremy Bullock, Peter Matthew, and Warwick Davis. Also to meet another SW hero of mine, Stephen Sansweet, the guy who wrote all the first collectors guides? He got a job at Lucasfilm, just by being the worlds most insane SW collector of all time.
3) Frantically drove down a man on Highway 101 in CA because his license plate read something to the sort "THX" (I didn't recognize him.)
4) Have driven past the hollowed gates of the Ranch, my insides churning, hoping to sneak a glance at heaven. In fact you can see nothing.
5) Have the Lucasfilm job hotline phone number memorized and a small pile of rejection letters to resumes I've sent there.

I don't think London is ready. They would never recover. I think Marin County would be better. They'd never know what hit them.. or Vancouver or Toronto.. I'm evil pure evil....
Padme, you have one up on me, but..
1) Age 15 rode bike 10 miles to town to see re release of ROTJ, because parents wouldn't drive me.
2) nearly mugged a clerk at the ARC thrift store for a large box of assorted TOPs SW trading cards. Took them home and sat up for an entire night sorting and organizing them into a neat binder that is worth more to me than gold.
3) have a cupboard with empty cereal boxes and an almost complete collection of SW BK glasses. That are for looking but do not touch and for Gods sake do'nt even think of drinking out of them.
4) Camped out in the theatre parking lot over night in my car in 40 degree weather with my son and some friends to be in the front of the line for SW AOTC. Local radio station made it a tail gate party of sorts with bands adn the whole deal. Taking a day off work, and taking my son out of school.
5) In high school wrote my biography of a famous person report on Uncle George and I still have it. After 15 plus years.
I think we all need help here..

I am a fan, but I still have some self respect, and a relatively firm grasp on reality. I hope.. LOL..
Although I did wear a padawan braid in my hair in a semi padawan style to work on the night before I camped out for AOTC.
Nobody said anything or had a clue what it was about. I also have SW all over my computer and in some pics (toons mostly) in my cube. eVerybody knows I'm the SW obsessed chick.

I don't openly advertise it. Nothing in my cube at work. Although I did tell everyone I saw it 4 times opening weekend. That was enough to scare people.
Wait at my last job I dressed up as a Darth Vaderette (Vader helmet Cape skirt tights and long black boots) and filled my cube w/ stuff to make it look like the Death Star (we had a contest on best decorated cubes.) That was a 1 time thing! I do listen to the AOTC soundtrack at work, does that count?
