I just read the Marvel species article in Gamer 1, and I just wanted to say how much I loved your illustrations in it. It's great seeing all these species rendered in such a different and more detailed style than the Marvel comics. The Iskalonian, and for different reasons, the Zeltron one wink , were my favorites. The Em'liy one was pretty cool, since these guys were obscure even in the Marvel line, and seeing a "modern" adaptation of them was something I wouldn't normally expect.

Wow, now that's a blast from the past happy Thanks for enjoying the article! That was my first Star Wars assignment for Wizards of the Coast actually. I'm a big Marvel Star Wars fan, I grew up reading all of those comics, so it was a thrill getting to illustrate those alien species from the EU.

Hope you enjoyed the day, Joe. I certainly did. A pleasure to meet you. We meant to come back for your Padme print, but was sidetracked by the Darth Revan-Asajj-Secret Apprentice actors that you saw on Saturday.
