Welcome to the March New Stories Index for the Before the Saga Board!
This Index will be updated daily with new fanfiction stories from this board, so you can spend less time searching and more time reading these great fics!
I'm amidalachick, and I will be maintaining this index. I will try to locate new stories every day, but you're welcome to send me the info for your fic through PM. If I've missed your story, or if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to PM me.

Below is a list of common terms and abbreviations used in this forum that will be helpful for readers searching this index using the find functions in their browsers:
EU - Expanded Universe (all of the books)
JA - The Jedi Apprentice books about Obi-Wan's youth before TPM
pre-TPM - takes place before the movies
AU - alternate universe
OC - original (author-originated) characters
GFFA - Galaxy Far, Far Away
H/C - hurt/comfort
vignette - a one-post story, especially a single scene
humor - lots of silliness
angst - anguish, torment, fear, anxiety
crossover or x-over - mixing Star Wars with another movie, tv series or book
round robin or RR - multi-author story inviting more people to join in (also called an add-on)
song fic - a story based on the lyrics of a song

Title: Destined Comeuppance

Title: The White Twi’lek, sequel to The Seventh Star
Author: Katana_Geldar
Genre: Hard-boiled detective fiction
Characters: OCs, Jali Dawler, Captain Vantel, Nuada Vekstar, Tira Sengel and some new ones.
Timeframe: c. 43 BBY (about six months after The Seventh Star finishes)
Summary: Jali’s back, and now he’s a Private Eye. He’s set up his own private investigation business, but somehow trouble—and murder—always manage to find him.
Disclaimer: Star Wars is not mine; I just like to write with it. The original characters are my own creations.
Note: After all the fun I had with Jali in The Seventh Star I decided to continue with him into the realms of the private investigator. A lot of thanks must go to one of my friends who has a degree in chemistry and her dad was a P.I.. She gave me a great idea for one of the murders in this fic. Thanks must also go to my sister, currently doing Biomed Science, for her help with rigor mortis and its effects.
If you haven’t met Jali yet, you should read The Seventh Star before delving into this. I hate sequels that are little more than a rehash of the previous story, so I don’t go into too much detail in what happened before.
This story is a little longer than Star as well as having a much more extended ending. Following from this there will be a final Jali story, The Silver Ring. As with Star, there will be a point at where all the clues will be revealed and you can see how observant you were.

Notes: Written for the PT Missing Scene Challenge #9. This challenge: Qui-Gon the rebel.
In TPM, Obi-Wan implores Qui-Gon not to defy the council: "Don't defy the Council, Master, not again." Your challenge this time: write a scene where Qui-Gon defies the council. It can be a humorous or serious piece, taking place at anytime.
A/N: This may not be exactly what was intended with the challenge, but I had to write it.

Summary and Notes: This short piece is inspried by an RP I am in over in the RPF boards. The actual conversation can be found here, if you are interested. The story is about a Jedi of the VERY old Republic. He's a skilled duelist, but terrible at talking to people. He is in love with a fellow Jedi, Alexia Rivers (Character developed by DarthXan318) and has trouble expressing it. So, this short humourous piece came about. Enjoy.
