Obi-Wan shook his head. “You wouldn’t.” He paused theatrically. “You’re too Jedi Masterly.” Nice, sweet touch in the middle of it all. Evil is not something so easily explained as the some misguided citizenry who do not take action out of fear and confusion. Frighteningly true. Even when one can explain the evil itself, explaining why some choose to follow such a course is difficult at best. 	Good story. I like Tawara very much. It's always great to have new characters in a story. I like the way the Jedi's missions are shown here. How they meet a person, share an experience and then have to part again. The fact that Tawara dies here shows how difficult it can be to accept something like this even if the mission is succesful. It's easy to forget the role of an individual in a conflict or a war; the suffering one single person has to endure instead of a whole species or people. (In a story as well as in real life, it's exactly that which makes it so much worse.) Your story is a great reminder of that. -----signature----- I love deadlines. 	Indra: Thank you. I knew when I started it that I needed an OC to really get across the situation. And yes, part of the idea here was to show a mission that wasn't particularly successful or a failure. Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon were simply there, really, and dealt with the situation as best they could. And you're right, it is easy to forget. Sometimes I think one can get lost in the statistics.
