Here's a piece I've being working on. I hope you like it , comments are welcomed
Chapter 1
A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away there lived and evil Sith Lord named Darth Plageuis. He lived on a beautiful, peaceful planet called Naboo. He ruled Naboo through his apprentice, Darth Sidious, who was in control of the royal family.
Darth Plageuis lived in tall, dark castle far away from the royal city of Theed. The castle was hidden in a dark forest, everything around his castle was dead and decaying, the sun never shined and the air was stale and listless. He lived in this dreary place with his wives, old and wretched women, who walked around his barren home like soulless, purposeless zombies.
Plageuis had kept them alive past their time using the dark side of the force. Bloodthirsty cannibals, their twisted bodies still lived but their souls had long given way to madness, killing and devouring anything with life in it.
Darth Plageuis was an ancient evil who for centuries had corrupted everything around him. The people of Naboo knew of this darkness on their beautiful lush planet; therefore, few had ever ventured into the evil forest, and those who had were never to be seen again.
One day a beautiful young woman, Shmi Skywalker, came upon the dark forest after getting lost from her family on a trip.
She sloshed through the black tar like mud as the rain leaked down the thick overhead trees. The forest felt dead and mournful. She traveled these gloomy woods for one whole day until she came to a break in the foliage. She didn’t see the castle at first, in the dreary wet shadows, but as lightning streaked across the sky the castle appeared like a ghost ship coming out of the fog. The castle was very tall and made of rock; darkness loomed over the open field between the castle and the forest.
Shmi was afraid. The sight of the ominous castle sent chills through her. She stopped for a moment resting against a tree and thought about going back into the woods, but she was lost and hadn’t eaten for a long time, so she reluctantly went to the door and knocked.
Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
The heavy wooden door slowly creaked open, but no one answered. Shmi peeked around the door and said, “Hello,” her voice echoing in the shadowy darkness. Since she got no response, Shmi hesitantly stepped into the dusty, dark, deathly quiet room and said, “hello” again, this time a little louder, but again her voice echoed and fell dead in the thick castle walls. She slowly stepped into the room and observed the dirty old tattered furniture and cobwebs draping down from the corners and ceiling.
The smell of rot and decay made her feel nauseous, and the only reason she didn’t vomit was because she didn’t have anything on her stomach.
Nervously, she looked around the room. Shmi couldn’t see anyone, but she could feel darkness all around her closing in.
She yelled,” hello!” again and got the same response.
The room was large it looked as if it had once been beautiful, but years of neglect and decay had taken its toll on this once luxurious home.
Suddenly, lightning crashed across the outside sky. Shmi let out a scream as the pounding thunder shook through her and the castle. The walls moaned and creaked around her as a giant glass chandelier rattled above her head as if threatening to fall.
Shmi had to catch her breath. Her heart pounded in her chest, echoing the thunder rolling across the sky.
She was tired. The pain of hunger tore at her stomach, Shmi was scared and lost. She collapsed to her knees and sobbed quietly.
Some time passed, slumped over on one arm, Shmi tried to calm herself. She wiped the tears from her eyes with her dress. Suddenly, she began to feel as if the air around her was alive like squirming things crawling all over her body; she felt a cold presence creeping up on her. Shmi’s head whipped around to see a long dark shadowy figure standing over her.
“I’m so sorry …I didn’t mean to…the door was open...I…,” Shmi said, franticly searching for the words to explain her intrusion.
“Calm yourself child,” the dark figure told her in a soothing hypnotic voice from the darkness.
Shmi began to calm down as the voice had told her.
“What has brought you to my home,” the soothing voice asked as it slowly crept closer to her.
“I got separated from my family in the woods and have been wandering around all day,” she said, as tears lightly rolled down her cheeks.
The figure began to drift closer to her and as she looked up, lightning flashed through the windows illuminating the face that stood before her. She beheld the face of Darth Plageuis, pale and lifeless like a corpse. His face was wrinkled and thin like skin stretched over a skull and then released. His sunken eye sockets were dark with large grayish bags under his glowing yellow eyes. His thin lips formed a twisted smile around his rotting broken teeth. Shmi screamed again, a gut wrenching, blood curdling scream.
The world then went black….

here is the second chapter, thank you for reading it coments are welcomed
chapter 2
Governor Palpitine,” said the young handmaiden, Nonia, “the queen requests that you come see her.”
“Thank you,” he said, giving Nonia a kind smile. “I will be there at once.”
The handmaiden bowed and left the Governor alone. Palpitine was a middle-aged man with specks of grey mixed into his red colored hair. He was a very focused and ruthless politician, but also kind and seemed generally concerned about the people he worked with. He reached down and pulled his dark red satin robe from his chair and threw it over his shoulders. He turned and stepped lively through his door and down the hallway. As he walked, Palpitine made eye contact and smiled at everyone he passed by.
Governor Palpitine was a very pleasant man. He was a highly respected and popular politician on Naboo. He was also one of the Queens most valued advisors.
As he entered the throne room Queen Allista stood to greet him.
“Good afternoon your highness,” he said with a bow.
“Good afternoon Governor Palpitine,” she replied, in her calm, powerful royal voice.
“How may I be of service to you today?” he said, his eyebrows raised in anticipation of his summons.
He stared at her as she collected her thoughts. Queen Allista was a young beautiful girl of only seventeen. She had curly golden hair, pinned up to fit her crown. Her blue eyes were deep tranquil pools of hope and prosperity and had a calming effect as you looked into them.
After a few minutes she finally said, “I would like you to go to Coruscant and represent Naboo in the senate.”
“Me my lady?” he asked curiously.
“Yes Governor,” she replied, in her steady authorative voice. “You are my most trusted advisor and my most gifted diplomat.”
Palpitine was surprised and pleased at the Queen’s request.
“You don’t have to answer me now, but I would like to have your answer as soon as possible.”
Palpitine replied with a simple, “Thank you.”
After a brief pause he said, “is there anything else I can do my lady.”
“Yes Governor,” the Queen replied, “the council are sending Jedi to help the peace talks between the Geonoshans and the Neimoidians.
The planets of Geonosis and Cato Neimoidia had been fighting a war over technology rights and trade lines, both lead the galaxy in technology development and weapons of war, and usually supplied to opposing sides. They crossed each other during a rebellion on the planet Muunilist and now both sides were preparing for a war that would cause unrest throughout the outer planets of the republic.
Palpitine said, “Yes” raising his eye brows. He had been heavily involved in the peace talks, but he didn’t know until now that the Jedi were to be involved.
“Will you pick them up tomorrow and help them get settled in?” the Queen asked.
“Yes your highness,” he answered, “I would be glad to.”
“Thank you Governor, you can meet Master Dooku and his party at landing pad thirteen tomorrow.”
“Yes my lady,” the Governor bowed.
The Queen gave a nod; he then turned and walked out of the room.

Very nice start! This looks like a very interesting story.
Suggestion: You should consider spacing it out so that it's easier to read.
Other than that, great job!

And what it all comes down to is that I haven't got it figured out just yet. Would I rather be feared or loved? Um... Easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me. Persia pwns your face.

chapter 3
Shmi swam through the crystal clear water toward the light; she
took a deep breath as her head came out of the water. She took another deep breath as she watched the sun dance across the
surface of the water. She could see her family in the distance, laughing and playing on the shore. She longed to be with them.
Shmi started to swim toward them; she swam for a long time but didn’t seem to be getting any closer. So she swam harder until she began to get tired, and they still weren’t any closer. She began to notice the water getting cold. She began to yell for her family, but they were walking away as the sun was setting.
Shmi could feel something on her feet, and terror started to consume her as something under the water wrapped around her legs, and began to pull at her. She began kicking and flailing, trying to escape, but she couldn’t because her legs were tired, and her arms were weak. All she could do was take a deep breath as she began sinking into the water. She opened her eyes but now the water was dark, and murky, freezing her as she went down into the depths.
She could see dull lights all around her shimmering, and as she got closer to one she realized it was a soul. She was surrounded by numerous souls of women trapped in the water. A giant monster, with teeth like blades, and eyes of burning red, reached out with long tentacles and pulled the souls into its mouth, devouring them. She could hear the souls screaming under the water.
Her chest began to feel as if it were caving in. She needed air but as much as she tried to struggle she was too weak and was still sinking.
Shmi couldn’t breathe.
She couldn’t move; her lifeless body was still sinking.
She watched as the monster continued devouring the souls, until… suddenly the monster turned his attention toward her. She tried to move, but she couldn’t and the monster kept coming. She wanted to fight but all she could do was watch as the giant sharp teeth came closer and closer, completely surrounding her…
And then… she woke up.
Shmi coughed and gagged, trying to get air into her lungs, she realized she had been holding her breath as she dreamed this horrible dream. She felt exhausted and dizzy and collapsed back on the bed.
As she laid there staring at the pink canopy over the top of the bed, she noticed the bed was soft, warm and very beautiful. The sheets were a soft pink and the bed frame was gold.
In next room, there was a busy clanking sound that sounded like a droid doing… something. Shmi quietly got out of the bed, and tip-toed toward the door. Cautiously she peeked around the corner, and saw an old, scruffy looking protocol droid.
“Oh, Hello I am KM-389 protocol human relations droid,” Said KM-389, “I see you are awake.”
Shmi stayed back peering around the door, and gave a little shy wave.
“The master told me to run you a bath, and get you some clothes,” the droid gestured his hand toward the steaming hot bath. “He will join you shortly for dinner.”
Shmi gave a nervous smile and walked in the bathroom toward the tub.

chapter 4
Darth Plageuis stood staring out the window of one of the highest towers looking over all that was his. This planet and all its inhabitants lived because he allowed it. With but a thought one could die, any one, and no one would ever know why. It might be the will of the force…his will.
Moments like this intoxicated him, filling him up with the darkside of the force.
“Master,” a whisper came from behind Plageuis. He was startled and spun around quickly to see his apprentice kneeling with his black hooded head down.
“Darth Sidious,” The dark lord said with a prideful look on his face. “You have become most skillful at hiding your presence.”
“Thank you master “A thin sinister smile spread across his pale face.” You have taught me well.” Even though this was more of a warning than a compliment, Plageuis smiled to himself.
“Why have you come here?” Plageuis asked.
“The Jedi are coming to Naboo.” The dark apprentice told him.
“The Jedi,” spat out Plageuis, face twisted with hatred.
“They are coming as representatives of the council for the peace talks.” Sidious finished.
Darth Plageuis could feel the anger growing inside; he turned away from his apprentice and looked out the large window. ”Damn them.” he cursed. The Jedi would not take away all that was his.
“I don’t want them to know we are here,” the dark lord snarled, contemplating what would happen if the Sithlords were to be discovered here by the Jedi. “If they even act the slightest bit strange kill them, kill them all and leave no trace.” The thought of this returned a smile to Plagueis face.
“Yes master.”Sidious smile spread wider across his face.
After a few seconds Plageuis asked. “Is there something else?”
“Yes master.” Sidious said.” We have been presented with a great opportunity to expand our influence.”
“Oh really.” Plageuis turned back toward his apprentice interested.
“We have been offered a seat on Coruscant.” Sidious smiled, he was pleased with himself.
The dark master closed his eyes and searched the force for some insight. He stood for long minutes as he breathed in the dark power. He could see the future fracturing into many different roads. He could see wars and great upheavals on the horizon. He could see uncertainty and chaos. When he was younger this would have intrigued him, but now with all he had gained, there was too much to lose.
Sidious waited patiently as his master searched the force for advice, but wondered why it was taking so long for him to decide. This bothered him because it seemed like an obvious answer.
Then finally, Plageuis replied. “No, we should not take this opportunity.”
“Master?” Sidious questioned, stunned at his response.
If Sidious were younger Plageuis would have severely reprimanded his apprentice for such a response, but Sidious had proven himself worthy of his masters’ respect; still Plageuis was irritated that anyone would question his power and wisdom.
“The time is not right. I sense much turmoil in the force.” He sneered at his apprentice.”We should stay safely hidden. Holding on to what we have, expanding from within.”
Plageuis turned back toward the window receiving comfort and security from what was his.
“Yes my master.” Sidious replied and when Plagueis looked back to dismiss his apprentice he was already gone.
Plageuis could no longer sense the presence of Sidious at all. His apprentice was a very powerful Sithlord, maybe too powerful.
Sidious silently moved through the castle hallway. He passed many of his master’s legions of undead wives; they paid him no attention as he made his way.
He was furious with his master’s lack of vision; He could feel the anger boiling inside.
He crept past a group of zombies fighting over something, he was didn’t know what nor did he care. He pitied these wretched beasts. He turned down a corridor and in front of him he could see a young woman walking nervously towards the dining room. She was young and beautiful wearing a long pink dress. The dress was low cut exposing her shoulders. Her light brown hair was braided and wrapped into a tight bun.
He knew what her fate was to be, she would end up like the others, eventually.
Sidious turned the corner and headed through the back door where a speeder was waiting for him.
Suddenly he sensed danger. He almost didn’t react fast enough as D’mee, one of his masters undead wives, attacked him from out of nowhere. He dodged her attack, turned and as D’mee tried to get up he grabbed her by the throat using the force. Sidious choked the undead woman hard and could hear the bones cracking and breaking in her neck. He used the hatred he felt for his master to fuel his attack. D’mee squirmed and struggled to get free but Sidious’ grip would not relent and continued to tighten.
Sidious wanted to kill her for daring to attack him, but he couldn’t. His master’s power kept them alive and they would never die as long as Plageuis willed it.
He released her and her head wobbled forward as she hit ground. She started to get up but she was unable to control her head and it made her lose balance and she fell back to the ground.
Sidious was furious. He knew this meant he had fallen out of favor and whether his lord had commanded it or not, D’mee would not have attacked him unless Plageuis wanted it.
Plageuis was holding him back and they both knew it. Sidious knew that the time was coming. He was growing more powerful than his master and soon he would have to claim his place as master.

Thanks again to everyone reading I hope you enjoy
chapter 5
Shmi Skywalker stood in front of a mirror in the dining room; she was wearing a very old pink dress much nicer than anything she had ever worn before.
She stared at her face, thin lines were beginning to form around her eyes, and she looked older than she had the day before. She had lost some of her youthful exuberance. She wished her host would arrive soon, because she was very hungry. Past the pains of hunger she could feel something else gnawing at her; ever since she had entered the dark forest she had become aware of something not right inside.
The door opened and in stepped Lord Plagueis and several of his wives. They walked inside and the master sat down at the head chair of the table. The rotting wives, stood as a guard over the Sithlord. “Sit,” he commanded young Shmi. Uncomfortably, she sat down in the chair across the table.
Shmi looked at the wives, twisted and savage. They looked on her with primal stares, hunger in their eyes, and Shmi began to hope she wasn’t the meal. “These are my wives,” Plagueis told her. She gave a brief smile and then glanced down. She had looked into the eyes of the wives and there had seen emptiness and pain and had had to look away.
“I'm sorry for my behavior earlier,” she said not looking up.
“It's quite understandable, a child such as yourself, lost in the woods, starving and afraid,” he sympathized.
Plageuis was terrifying to look at. His wrinkled, pale skin and the large discolored bags under his eyes made him appear much older than anyone she had ever seen. His long white hair crept down around his shoulders, down his back and rested on the floor. His eyes burned with hatred darker than the darkest depths of hell. He was terrifying and Shmi knew that he would haunt her dreams for the rest of her life.
KM-389 brought in a tray of bread, and gave her a piece and poured her a glass of wine. She grabbed the bread and broke off a piece and shoved it into her mouth. It was dry and stale but she didn’t care. She picked up her wine and took a big gulp, which was a shock to her because she had never had anything like wine before. The bitter taste made her grimace, but then she swallowed hard and took another gulp.
“So you got lost in the forest.” Plagueis said, making more of a statement than a question. Shmi swallowed hard, and then answered anyway.
“Yes thank you so much for taking me in for the night,” she said appreciatively, “I won’t be any trouble and I promise I will leave first thing in the morning.”
Suddenly the zombie wives looked up at her and burst into hysterical laughter, cackling like witches. Shmi was frightened by the manic laughter of these evil, wretched women. Plagueis raised his hand and the room fell silent.
“Oh no,” he said “you can never leave here.”
Shmi’s heart sank and her hands began to shake, dropping her bread
“You will stay here and be my new wife.” He told her.
“No” she strained, barely able to make a sound, “I can’t, I must…”
“No,” Plagueis” interrupted, “You will stay.”
At that moment KM-389 and a small dome shaped serving droid came into the room carrying a tray with a dome shaped cover on it. The protocol droid lifted the cover revealing their food. Shmi barely noticed as the two droids lay their masters meal in front of him, then they moved over to her, and laid a plate with a large piece of raw meat in front of her. Looking at the bloody food in front of her, made her nauseous. She sat there confused, feeling sick, as she watched the serving droid drop pieces of meat on the floor. The wives dropped ferociously onto the dirty floor just out of her sight, tearing, and eating, growling at each other.
“But…” She started with hopelessness, not knowing what to say next.
As Plagueis starred at her his eyes tightened and his brow slopped down into a look that silenced Shmi. A tear crept down Shmi’s face, and all she could do was watch as Plagueis devoured a piece of raw meat. Flopping his lips as he chewed, she could see his broken grey teeth, mashing up the meat as blood trickled down the corner of his mouth. The savage wives were still on the floor fighting, and tearing at each other and the pieces of raw meat. Shmi quickly got up and ran out of the room. The wives looked up with their blood stained faces, and started creeping toward her but Plagueis raised his hand and they stopped and went back to the meat on the floor. Plagueis sat there for a moment, with a twisted smile crossed his ugly sagging face. He then returned to his dinner.
Shmi ran down the hallway back into her room, slammed the door behind her and locked it. She threw herself down on the bed and buried her head into her pillow. She cried and punched the bed with anger. She just wanted to be home with her family, she missed them and wished they would hold her and tell her that everything would be alright.
She cried and cried until finally the darkness overtook her and then she lay quietly.
She slept peacefully for sometime and then she began to feel strange as if she was out of her body floating away. She opened her eyes to find herself in her body but floating above her bed, unable to move anything but her eyes. She looked at the shadowy image of the dark lord Plagueis at the foot of the bed in deep meditation, chanting foul sounding words she couldn’t understand.
Was she dreaming?
The dark lord continued the rhythmic chanting that grew louder, consuming her in the vibration, and then a strange darkness came from Plagueis, and entered Shmi in the place directly between her eyes. It traveled down into her lower stomach and stopped there. Then Shmi could see her future, as a slave to the dark lord forever. She knew that whatever cancerous thing he had placed inside of her would rule over the rest of her life. The ancient Sithlord opened his eyes and began to laugh. The laughter rattled inside, chilling her to the bone. Shmi tried to move, tried to scream, but could do nothing but listen to the sound of Plagueis wretched laughter rattling in her head.
Then suddenly she was sitting up on the bed, her eyes wide open, drenched in sweat, gasping for air. Confusion overwhelmed her.
What had happened to her? What kind of sickness had he put into her? Was she like the wives now? Was it just a dream?
She prayed it was just a dream… she sat up on the edge of the bed trying to steady her breath and told herself it was just a dream. She started to breathe a little easier; she wondered if she would ever sleep again.
It was just a dream she told herself, and then it began to fade away in her mind, just like a dream….

chapter 6
Palpitine walked down the metallic bridge and stepped onto the landing pad, a droid hover cam following behind him and recording the governor as he prepared to receive the Jedi.
It was a beautiful day on Naboo. Palpitine stared up at the clouds and took in the sunshine coming down through the blue sky. A gentle breeze blew through his hair as he waited for his visitors to arrive.
In the far off distance Palpitine could see a ship descending toward the landing pad and knew this would be the Jedi. His long blue robe whipped around his body as the wind began to pick up, the long rectangular shaped republic cruiser got closer to him. The landing jets fired and the ship slowed until drifting to a gentle landing. The heavy ship made metallic groaning sounds as it settled into its place on the landing pad.
Palpitine stood patiently waiting until the ships loading ramp lowered and six Jedi stepped out onto the ramp. Two were human, a male and a female.
The male was an aging man with long grey hair and a beard, both with streaks of black in them. The female was younger; her long brown hair was braided and tied up on the back of her head. Another was a Zabrak male with horns coming off the top of his head and long black hair, next to him was a younger Zabrak male, whose horns were in a circle around his head, sporting a padawan hair cut. The next one was a species that Palpitine wasn’t familiar with; he had a short body with a long neck and small head. The last one stepped down the ramp ducked not to hit his head, as he was very tall. When he lifted up his hooded head Palpitine saw that he was a wookie. All six were wearing standard Jedi robes and had lightsabers strapped to their belts.
“Good morning, welcome to Naboo,” Palpitine greeted the Jedi as he walked toward them and gave them a complimentary bow.
“Good morning.” the older Jedi replied as he removed his hood. “I am master Dooku.”
Dooku seemed like a pleasant man with a smile on his face and an aura of peacefulness about him.” You have a beautiful planet, governor.”
“Thank you Master Jedi,” Palpitine smiled and said. “If you get a chance you should go and see some of the ancient ruins on the plains north of here; they are breathtaking.”
Dooku smiled and nodded. The two men made there way across the metallic bridge, making idle conversation about Naboo, as they walked toward a shuttle waiting to pick them up.
The five other Jedi walked quietly behind the two chatting men until the female Jedi stopped and looked off to the south. They all stopped and waited as she stood there for a moment with a distant look in her eyes until Palpitine broke the silence.
“Is everything alright?” He asked. She didn’t respond immediately but stood staring off, until the distant look returned to focus and she came back to the present. Then she said “I am sorry.”
She stepped into the shuttle and the others followed. The wookie Jedi turned to the south and let out a concerned growl.
When all the Jedi were on board, the shuttle powered up its engine and sped off across the Theed nightline.
On route, Palpitine told the Jedi he would drop them off, that he had some business to attend to, and he would return soon.

chapter 7
Shimi woke up, stretched and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She had slept terrible the night before. She felt sluggish and considered going back to sleep. Instead she sat on the edge of her bed and tried to recall what she had dreamed about the night before. She remembered waking up afraid but had no idea why. She stood up and walked over to the window and pulled open the curtain. Darkness. She had expected the sun to come shining in. She wasn’t sure if it was day or night, she wasn’t sure of anything; it always stayed the same here. Shmi knew that she couldn’t stay here much longer, that she had to find a way to escape this place.
Shmi turned and walked over to the door of her room, opened it just a crack and peered out into the stone hallway .She stepped out and walked quietly through the corridor and down a set of twisting stairs, as she got close to the bottom she slowed down and putting her back against the wall, crept to the bottom stair and peeked around the corner into another hall where two of the haggardly wives lay on the floor, sleeping.
She was afraid to go any further, she didn’t know what the zombies would do if the master weren’t around to control them. She started to turn back when all of a sudden she could hear the quiet voice of Plagueis in her head.
“Go and protect our home” the voice commanded. “Go into the woods and kill anyone who trespasses upon my land.
Shmi felt she being compelled to walk into the hallway but resisted. The two wives got up and started walking. She waited as they turned the corner and followed them to see where they were going.
She came to the curve and looked around. The wives were into a room she recognized as the room she was in when she first came to the castle. She sat down and watched as the wives exited through the front door. She sat there for while as more wives came and walked out the door; she could still feel the urge to get up and walk out the door also, but continued to resist.
Instead she got up and walked cautiously into the room with the door.
Shmi saw another hallway and decided to go into it. She knew she needed to be careful; the castle was so big she could easily get lost.
She heard the dragging of slow walking feet and backed into a dark corner. As she got into the corner she felt a cobweb fall onto her head, she swiped frantically trying to get the web off of her, then she suddenly stopped because the zombie wife she heard came into view. She held her breath and closed her eyes hoping not to be seen. The cobweb rested on her head and draped down over her face, it made her skin crawl but she didn’t dare move. Her face and neck began to itch but she still did not move and the woman walked right past her, about five feet away.
Long minutes passed as the soulless woman dragged herself into the other room and was out of sight. She breathed a sigh of relief and went back to frantically swiping the webbing off.
Shmi started walking again. She walked down a couple more hallways until she came to a large room. She slowly stuck her head around into the room. This was by far the largest room she had seen. The room was mostly empty, weapons and ornaments hung on the walls, crimson red carpet lead from a doorway across the room, to the right a large curtain the same color as the carpet hung from the ceiling to the floor. She stepped inside and looked around the curtain. A throne sat against the wall up a small set of stairs, seated on the throne was Darth Plageuis.
Plageuis sat in a deep meditative trance. He was surrounded by a thick mucky grayish aura, and was chanting in a rhythmic cadence. Shmi could fill the evil coming off him like a wave of sickness washing over everything.
She started backing up slowly toward the door she had come through.
Plageuis took in a deep breath and opened his eyes.
“Why do you disturb my meditation?” He demanded.
Shmi stood for moment thinking because she didn’t have any real reason to be there .Finally she said “I wish to leave. “
Plageuis looked down on her, his face tightened into a frown “No, you may not leave,” he dismissed.” You will never leave.”
“But I don’t want to stay.” she told him.
“You are strong with the force and you have a strong will also.”Plageuis mused. “You will be an excellent vessel for my power.”
Shmi didn’t know what he meant. She knew little about the force other than what her peoples wise men had told her.
“Soon you will know the power of the dark side of the force and be grateful that I have chosen you to be my wife.” he hissed. “You will rule at my side forever.”
“I….”Shimi started to say something but words failed her.
“Go now, much is happening that you don’t know about.” he told her.” You may walk freely around the castle, but do not try to leave.” He warned.
Shmi turned and walked silently away. She would not give up, she would escape.

Happy Labor day to all
chapter 8
The door to Dooku’s room opened and the female Jedi Lona Zin stepped in, followed by master Barccata the Wookie.
“Master Dooku, we need to speak with you.”Lona said.
“Yes come in and sit down.”Dooku said gesturing to the couch.
The rooms they had been assigned were very luxurious, consisting of two bedrooms and a large living area, with two couches and a glass table. The floors were clothed in a thick beige carpet and the walls were primarily windows.
“Is everything alright?”Dooku asked.
“I don’t know.” she replied “I sense darkness all around us.”
Barccata shook his head and made a quiet growl in agreement.
Dooku closed his eyes and reached out to the force, but didn’t feel anything except the expected turmoil of the peace talks.
“Are you certain of your feelings?” he asked.
“Yes,”Lona replied. “It’s not on the surface, its deeper and very faint.”
“Does this have to do with the negotiations?” He asked.
“I'm not sure “she answered.” but I don’t think so, it feels distant.”
Again the wookie barked in agreement of what she was saying.
“We need to stay focused on the task at hand,” Dooku told them “but be mindful of your feelings and let me know if you have any additional insights.
The two Jedi agreed with Dooku and stood up to leave.
“You should go to the other masters and tell them about your feeling,”Dooku told them.
The three Jedi bowed to each other and Lona and Barccata left to go see the other Jedi.
Dooku was troubled by what they had told him even though he didn’t show it. Lona was very powerful with the force and had great sensitivity to its underlying voice. He would be more mindful of the situation.
Palpitine was walking down the palace hallway toward Dooku’s room when he saw the two Jedi leaving, they both had troubled looks on their faces, and he wondered if everything was okay. Palpitine flashed the Jedi a quick smile as he passed them in the hall. He reached Dooku’s door and entered.
“I saw your companions in the hall and they looked quite troubled.”Palpitine said inquisitively.” is everything alright?”
“Oh yes, governor,” Dooku said “Thank you for your concern.”
“If there is anything I can do let me know.”
“Thank you again.” the Jedi expressed his gratitude. “We’ll let you know.”
Palpitine felt uncomfortable that the Jedi was so tight lipped about what was wrong, but decided to drop the subject.
“I've come to take you to meet the representatives from Geonosis,” Palpitine told Dooku. ”We can leave when you are ready.”
Dooku told the governor he was ready, and the two men left to get the other Jedi.
After a long day of meetings with the Geonoshans the Jedi returned to there quarters and began to settle in.
Lona Zin could not rest; she kept feeling a nagging pull in the force. She walked outside and stood in the courtyard. Reaching out with the force she could feel a dark presence to the south, pulsating and growing she decided she had to check it out. Lona took a speeder and left hoping to find the cause of the disturbance.
Unknown to Lona a dark figure stood back in shadows watching silently as she pulled away from the palace gates.
The mb-929 speeder was built for speed and it glided softly across the Naboo plains. It was yellow with a red stripe down the side and had an open cockpit, not the kind of vehicle you expected to see a Jedi in.
Lona’s face looked very serious. Her long brown hair whipped around her face as she sped across the open country side. She became aware of the dark cloud that seemed to hover over her as she got closer to the disturbance, she made an extra effort to make sure she was focusing and letting the force flow through her. Suddenly she felt a slight tingle in the back of her head, something wasn’t right. She looked around and didn’t see anything. Lona pushed forward, staying cautiously aware, because the tingle kept getter stronger, and then as if out of nowhere the tingle turned into a scream from the force and Lona jumped from the cockpit and did a back flip landing just in time to see the speeder drop off of a cliff that was right in front of her.
Her heart raced as she hurried to the edge to see the speeder hit bottom and burst into flames. She turned her head and shielded her face with her arm as debris came flying up.
She stood up and looked down off of the steep cliff and could see the entrance of a forest. She jumped off the cliff and used the force to guide her away from the wrecked speeder and then to soften her landing. She hit the ground and rolled, landing in a defensive stance.
Lona glanced around and took a hard look at the forest in front of her. The tall trees looked black and lifeless with no leaves, yet the heavily intertwined branches formed a cover over the top.
She had a bad feeling about this and wondered if she should have brought someone with her. She reached out with the force and tried to make contact with her Jedi companions, but without any luck. The darkside clouded this place and it felt different inside the valley that encompassed the dark forestland. She cleared her mind and stepped into the forest.
Unknown to Lona at the top of the cliff stood a dark figure, black cloak flowing in the wind as he watched her every move.
The woods seemed to have a sad life of its own, the dreary trees and thick black mud made Lona feel as if she were drowning in the dark side. She could feel small, almost lifeless predators all around. But big or small most were staying a safe distance away from her.
She had a sudden realization of someone very sad at the heart of this dark place and knew this was what had led her here. Someone very sad and very scared was sending vague tremors through the force and she had connected with the vibration.
As Lona came toward a clearing, she could see someone, a woman slowly dragging her feet as she walked hunched over in the clearing. She could feel almost no lifeforce coming from the woman at all. Lona stepped closer, trying not to make any sound as she observed the woman.
The woman looked as if she could hundreds of years old, her long stringy white hair fell down to her waist; her wrinkled and dry skin looked as if it were rotting off of her bones. She turned her head to Lona revealing large, dark circles around lifeless eyes.
Lona started toward the woman, hoping she could find some way to help this poor wretched soul, but as she stepped forward she could feel a warning of danger through the force. She stopped, could this be a trap? Looking around she didn’t see anything threatening around her, so she continued cautiously toward the woman.
The closer she got the stronger the warning got, even though she didn’t see anything dangerous she unhooked her lightsaber from her belt, preparing herself for anything.
When Lona got within a couple feet of the woman, suddenly the woman’s face turned into a vicious scowl baring her jagged teeth and she lunged at Lona trying to bite her. Lona reacted by pushing the woman with the force sending her into a tree and accidentally impaling her on a branch that was sticking out and went right through the woman.
Lona ignited her lightsaber with a snap hiss, the green light shown through the darkness. Standing in a defensive pose waiting for what ever might happen next, the force was still alerting her of danger and she could feel the darkness closing in all around.
She looked sadly at the haggardly woman, she had wanted to help her, but instead she had killed her. Then the woman began to move, she started hissing and clawing at Lona even though she was too far away to reach her. Lona flinched back, not wanting to believe her eyes; she had never seen anything like this before.
The old woman clawed and growled and then realized there was no way to reach the Jedi, she reached up and grabbed the branch sticking through her chest and began pulling herself forward until she got to were the branch was weakest and it broke off, still inside her .She started walking toward Lona, arms out in front, teeth bared, ready to kill.
Lona was stunned and not sure what to do, with her lightsaber held out in front of her she took a step back. Then she heard a hiss from behind her and spun around to see another woman behind her, just like the first one. She was old and wretched, her white hair had streaks of black in it, and then she realized she had been so focused on the first woman she hadn’t noticed that she was being surrounded by the hideous undead woman. They came at her from all sides, at least twenty, all dragging toward her with a ravenous look to them.
Lona switched to an attack stance, raising her saber above her head. She lunged toward a group of the women blocking her path and she sliced into them cutting off ones arm and cutting a second one in half. She watched in horror as the one without an arm changed direction and started coming toward her, while the torso of the other clawed at her feet ripping the top layer of her shoe open. Behind her she could feel even more of them coming toward her, she was still surrounded.
Lona stepped back trying to gather her thoughts, waving her green lightsaber at the women as a warning. They didn’t even hesitate but continued coming at her.
Suddenly she knew what she was going to do. Using the force she did a high jump over the next wave of attackers, whacking away tree limbs that seemed to be reaching for her as she jumped. When she landed she took off in an all out sprint, chopping at anything that got in her way. After a few seconds of running she came upon another, much larger clearing. Jumping out into the open field she stopped dead in her tracks.
Standing directly in front of her was the dark cloaked figure of Darth Sidious and behind him was the ominous castle that was the home of Darth Plageuis.
She stood frozen for a heartbeat and then without warning bluish white bolts of lightning burst from the darklords fingertips, throwing her back into the forest. She hit a tree hard knocking the wind out of her, her lightsaber flying away into the darkness.
Stunned and barely conscious she reached out with the force and brought her lightsaber back to her hand. She pushed the button on the handle igniting the green blade, but it was too late. From every direction the women jumped on her, biting, clawing at her, ripping her apart, she tried to fight them but, there were too many. In the background she could hear the evil cackling of the dark lord as he thoroughly enjoyed watching her be ripped apart and devoured.
Master Dooku was suddenly pulled from his deep meditation, a tremor in the force filled with pain and terror washed over him and then silenced.
“Lona,” he whispered to himself, and sadness filled his being as he felt his Jedi friend become one with the force.
From several rooms over he could hear the pain filled howl of his wookie companion.

I hope anyone reading this is enjoying it, any feedback would be most welcomed.
chapter 9
Master Dooku got up and ran to Lona’s room. He was soon joined by the other Jedi. They opened the door and found the room empty, as they knew they would.
They searched the room for any clue as to where Lona had gone.
Dooku sent an urgent message to Palpitine, but got no response. Knowing he couldn’t wait, he sent the pale long necked Quermian Jedi Jebb Isor to talk to the guard at the gate.
Long minutes passed before the holoprojector lit up with Jebb’s image.
“The guard said she left a few hours ago heading south.”The static hologram of the Quermian Jedi told them.
“They didn’t know where she was going?” Dooku asked.
“No.” Jebb replied. “They said they would send a search party out to look for her in the morning.”
“We can’t wait that long, did you ask him if he had any idea why she might have gone to the south.
Jebb looked away talking to the guard who could not be seen in the holoimage.
Looking back he said.” The guard says there’s nothing out there except some open plains and some sort of haunted forest.”
“Get a shuttle ready to leave as soon as possible.” Dooku told him.
Jebb bowed his head and his image disappeared from the holoprojector.
Dooku turned to the other Jedi and without saying a word the others left to prepare to leave.
After the others had gone Dooku laid his face into his hands and took in a deep breath, trying to come to terms with all that was happening.
“Master.” the whisper of lord Sidious voice echoed in Plageuis head.
“Sidious!”The dark master growled. He was furious with his apprentice; the Jedi had gotten too close.
“The Jedi are coming.”Sidious told him as Plageuis face snarled up so tight it hurt.
“I am here master I will destroy them.” Sidious promised. “They will not survive the night. “
“They better not,”Plageuis hissed.” for your sake.”
Shmi sat in the corner listening to the dark lord talk to himself. She had heard a commotion outside her window earlier and when she looked out she saw the Jedi with the green lightsaber attacked by the dark figure in the opening. She didn’t know what was happening but she knew if she was going to escape; it would have to be soon.
She would be ready when the time came, and then as if he could read her mind Plageuis grumbled “go back to your room, you will be safe there.”
This filled Shmi up with anger and she got up and stormed off to her room, slamming the door hard behind her. Her anger turned into shock as the door suddenly locked from the outside.
Shmi turned full of rage and pounded her fists against the door, yelling “You can’t keep me in here! I’ll get out!!! I’ll kill you!!!” But after a handful of minutes she fell to the floor exhausted.
She felt like crying, but she had promised herself she would cry no more.
Shmi picked herself up and went to the window. Outside the forest seemed restless as if waiting for something bad to happen. She knew she would get her chance to escape; she just had to wait and be prepared.
She turned and looked in the mirror the lines in face were deepening, sadness shone through in her eyes, she knew if she did not leave soon her whole life would pass in a matter of days.
The five Jedi flew across the Naboo countryside on a skiff that Jebb had gotten for them. Dooku stood with his hair blowing around in the wind. A deep frown carved on his face, he would not rest until he brought Loma’s killer to justice. It wasn’t that Lona was dead that bothered him, she had become one with the force, it was the natural way of things. What bothered Dooku was how she died in so much pain and terror. Anyone who could do something like that should not be allowed to roam free, he reasoned.
The skiff came to a gentle halt as they reached the edge of the cliff. Smoke could be seen coming up from the side of the cliff.
“This must be were she stopped.” The skiff driver told them. “She must have crashed her speeder off the side of the cliff. She probably died instantly.
The Jedi knew this was not the case.
They stepped down off the skiff and walked over to the edge and looked over to see the smoldering remains of Lona’s crashed speeder.
“This is not where she died.” the zabrak master named Karo Slinn told the driver.” she died over there.” He said pointing deep into the heart of the dark forest.
“You know that I've already come farther than I wanted to.” The driver said with an angry tone to his voice.” You’re on your own from here.”
“Go back to Theed.” Dooku said in a calm voice. “Send someone to get us in the morning. We’ll be right here.”
The driver stood there for a minute with a blank look on his face, he didn’t know what to say. He had expected he was going to have to fight with the Jedi to leave, but finally said “thanks,” powered up the skiff and left.
The five Jedi stood there and waited until he was gone.

chapter 10
Darth Sidious stood at the opening of the woods in the shadows of the castle. The wind blowing his cape around wildly, he closed his eyes and breathed in deeply of the cold night air.
He could feel the change coming; he knew tomorrow everything would be different, his time was near. Soon he would rule, not just this tiny worthless planet, but everything; he could it feel the power flowing from the force through him.
He waited patiently for the Jedi to arrive; he knew it would not be long.
Sidious took in another deep breath.
He could feel the Jedi coming.
He could feel their anger.
He could feel their fear.
The five Jedi made their way through the dark forest. They stayed together in unity, but spread out, as not to provide a singular target.
The two Zabrak stayed closer to each other, the master didn’t want to lose sight of his young apprentice.
“Master I am getting tired.” the apprentice told him. They had been sloshing through the thick mud for sometime and he was out of breath.” Can we stop for a minute?”
The two stopped and the master told his young apprentice “Breath deeply of the force. Let it flow freely through you.” the Jedi took in a deep breath.” feel the force in every part of your body, replenishing you, giving you strength.
The padawan exhaled the deep breath and when he did he could feel the weight of exhaustion lifting off him, he took another deep breath and was ready to catch up with the others.
Dooku noticed the Zabrak master and his apprentice had stopped, so he slowed the other Jedi and they surveyed the area. Dooku reached out, he could feel the darkside all around him. The forest was alive in the darkness. The mud grabbed at them, tree limbs came from nowhere blocking their path. He could feel the forest closing in around them; wild predators stalked the Jedi from everywhere they couldn’t see.
Dooku turned on his lightsaber; with a snap hiss the blue light cut through the dark, illuminating everything around him, in an instant the other Jedi snapped on their lightsabers and the area around them lit up.
From the edges of the light they could see the zombie wives advancing slowly toward them. The Jedi turned around in circles taking in the number of wives surrounding them.
The wookie Barccata let out a roar, looking up a zombie dropped from a tree toward his face. Using the force as his guide Barccata’s lightsaber came up slicing the wretched woman in half. Hitting the ground with a thud her body continued to come after the Jedi. The half of the woman without a head squirmed around uselessly, but the other half relentlessly went after the padawan.Backing away in fear the youth backed up into another of the wives, spinning around he cut her in half at the waist. Now both half bodies were grabbing at his legs, looking around for his master to help him, he saw that all the other Jedi were in the same situation he was, suddenly he felt the claw like hand of another of the wives pulling at his hood, panic took over the young Jedi’s mind and he began slashing and chopping at the woman without thought or reason. He had lost all control of himself and was attacking on pure emotion.
Soon his attackers lay in a squirming pile on the ground around him.
After regaining control he saw that the other Jedi were separating becoming farther apart from each other. A group of the wives, between him and the Jedi had turned their attention to him and were closing in again. Using the force he pushed them down and jumped over them and then took off through the forest looking for his masters green lightsaber blade.
Masters Dooku and Barccata stood back to back cutting a path through the dense forest. Barccata lead the way throwing and cutting everything in his path. The wookie Jedi was very attuned to the living force and could feel his way to the heart of this darkness.
The two masters stepped out into an open field. Master Dooku could see in front of them a giant stone castle that shadowed over all the open land. Barccata never turned around; he could sense something even more evil than the forest, stalking them from behind.
Barccata let out a low warning growl. Dooku turned and could feel the presence sneaking around in the wooded area, and raised his lightsaber pointing it directly at the hidden enemy.
“Come out “he yelled with an authoritative tone” Face us.”
“Ha, ha, ha, ha, haa foolish Jedi, you should not have come here.” A voice cackled from within the forest.
Barccata growled back at the voice.
“You are going to die.” The voice mused. ”ALL OF YOU!!!!”
The voice made Dooku nervous because it came from one place and the presence of the dark being came from another. He nervously aimed his lightsaber from one to the other.
The evil cackling came again and Dooku pointed in that direction and then suddenly Darth Sidious attacked him from the other.
Dooku barely blocked the attack, Sidious connected sabers with Dooku and spun around taking a powerful shot at Barccata, whose lightsaber came flying up just in time to meet Sidious’ red blade. The power of the Sith’s attack was so powerful it sent the wookie stumbling backward.
Dooku came with his attack now, only to miss the dodging Sith lord and then get force pushed in the back, and go falling forward to the ground. Dooku hit the ground hard smashing his face on the rocky path leading to the dark palace. Blood from his nose trickled down through Dooku’s mustache as he spun around on the ground, not leaving his back turned to the dark assailant. The Jedi master turned just in time to see the dark figure locking blades with his wookie friend. Sidious pushed the wookie’s green saber toward the ground, Dooku was shocked to see the Sith lord overpowering the great wookies strength, and then in one move Sidious released the wookies blade and swung his saber up, slicing off the wookies arm.
Barccata howled in pain as his arm fell to the ground.
Using the force Sidious shot thin bolts of blue white electricity from his fingertips hitting the pain filled wookie Jedi. Barccata howled again as the dark power surged through him. Sidious laughed hideously at the tortured wookies cries.
“Stop!” Dooku commanded his face twisted with anger.
“Or what, Jedi?” Sidious hissed at him.” What will you do?”
Dooku stared with an empty look on his face; he didn’t know what to say. All of his life Dooku had been respected as a great warrior among the Jedi order, but his powers paled in comparison to the dark lord who stood in front him.
Shmi Skywalker stood looking out her window. She had watched the entire fight hoping that the two Jedi would beat the dark villains and free her.
Her heart sank as she saw them both struck down and nearly beaten.
Without thinking she screamed” Help!!!”
“Heeelllppp!!!!!” Dooku looked up and saw a young girl at a lighted window about two stories up on the far side of the stone castle. Dooku knew that no matter what the cost this must end tonight.
Darth Sidious turned his attention away from the girl at the window back to Dooku. A thin sinister smile spread across his face, as he watched the Jedi get up through much pain.
Dooku reached out with the force and brought Barccata’s light saber to his hand, igniting both, his blue saber and Barccata green one. He stood ready to fight once again.
Sidious cackled. “You are a bigger fool than I thought.” raising his red lightsaber up, pointing it at Dooku, and then charging after him.
Dooku braced himself for the dark lord’s attack, but this time when it came it wasn’t powerful, it was swift. Like the wind Sidious seemed to be everywhere at once, he blocked low with one saber and then high with the other. One time Dooku let Sidious blade slide off of his leaving the sithlord off balance, and then when he spun around to take advantage Sidious was gone, he barely turned fast enough to block the attack that Sidious countered with.
Dooku felt helpless as Sidious drove him back toward the castle. He had to find a way to stop this onslaught. His arms were wearing down and feeling weak, and then as if the force could hear him crying out for help Jebb Isor the Quemian Jedi came lunging out of the dark forest and without saying a word the long necked agile Jedi went straight after Darth Sidious.
Jebb came at Sidious with a hard strike and then bounced into the air flipping over Sidious, landed, and attacked from the other side. Sidious kept up until Dooku seized the moment and came at him hard with both of his lightsabers. Sidious blocked the Dooku’s attack and kicked Jebb Isor in his extended rib sending the Jedi rolling across the ground in pain.
Dooku looked right into the face of pure evil, and it laughed back at him. Where Dooku was fighting as hard as he could Sidious was just playing with him. Their blades locked together for long moments as Dooku pondered the battle within the battle.
Finally Sidious released Dooku’s blade and spun away, and Dooku fell forward almost being decapitated by Jebb Isor’s charging lightsaber.
Sidious stood back a few feet away, howling his insane laughter as the two Jedi almost killed each other.
Dooku got up off the ground, blood pouring down his face. He watched for a moment as the ambidextrous Quermian Jedi jumped around switch hands, attacking Sidious from sides to side, he was doing better without Dooku’s help.
“Jebb!”Dooku yelled throwing Barccata’s saber into the air Jebb grabbed it, and immediately ignited it and with it flashes blue and green light swirled around Sidious head, now for the first time Sidious was the one being pushed back.

This is a short chapter but I hope you like it.
chapter 11
Master Karo Slinn and his apprentice both ran through the woods in a full sprint toward the flashes of lightsabers fighting in the darkness. They were trying to make up for lost time they had spent looking for each other.
“Master!” the young apprentice yelled out, as he slowed down trying to catch his breath. Breathing heavily he felt lightheaded like he was about to faint, but the padawan stumbled forward afraid to stop knowing the zombie women were following, not far behind.
He ran as best as he could until finally his weak legs gave out and he fell forward into the mud, he slid very little in the sticky mud, it seemed to swallow him. He tried to breath, but his face was stuck down in the mud, he fought franticly to get his arms to push his face out of the mud. Finally the mud gave way and he lifted his head up inhaling all the dirty air his lungs could hold.
He pulled himself up on his elbows and clawed his way through the sticky mud until he reached the clearing. He crawled up onto the stone walkway and collapsed.
He closed his eyes, for how long he didn’t know but, when he opened them, he could see his master Karo Slinn fighting with the darkly cloaked Darth Sidious. Master Isor was circling the two interjecting a slash or a slice, trying to find a weakness in Sidious’ techniques. Master Dooku was sitting back from the fight meditating trying to replenish his strength.
He lifted his head looking for master Barccata, as he scanned the area; he finally saw him laying deathly still on the ground, off to his right. Tears filled his eyes as he crawled over to Barcata’s side. The wookie let out a pain filled growl as the padawan put his hand on the master’s shoulder; he let out a sigh of relief.
Barccata started to push himself up with his one arm. Getting his knees under him he rose to his feet. He let out a roar letting the others know he was alive and started walking toward them.
Sidious had been backed up and now he stood at the front entrance of the castle.
Suddenly Sidious ripped the enormous door off of its hinges and hurled it at the quermian Jedi Jebb Isor, directly in front of Barccata and the young padawan.
The padawan thought Jebb would stop the door until he jumped over it. He watched in horror as Barccata stood right in the way of the projectile door. Summoning up all the force power he could he pushed the door with all his might, but it wasn’t enough as the door crashed into Barccata and landed on top of him. He could feel the bones in his back break as he lay upon the ground trapped under the door.
Laying there with the crushing weight of the door on top of him he gave into the blackness.
