RE: The sins of the Jedi / creation of DarknessAU/EU JAatoc,RotS,Obi, Qui, 27th July *Update *
You had such beautiful descriptions in the post!
He was loved by one who was never given a chance to be what he had always wanted to be; and what the force had always intended him to be. His Apprentice.
That is very haunting.
The force showed him his destiny, taught him about life and death; and that there had to be death before life could once again embrace the sun, and smile at the stars.
And such an interesting look into how Obi-Wan sees the Force.
Sidious lifted his sabre poised for the killing blow, and he began to cackle. Qui-Gon was at his mercy now with no means to protect him self from Sidious.
I can't wait to see what happens!
I might not have to worry about needing that baseball bat anymore, lol.

another brilliant post!
i rather liked how obi and palpy fighting in the senate room, being quite similar to the yoda/palpy fight in ROTS. except this time the whole place is exploding around the both of them!!
my fave part was..
What amazed him most was that the force had never left him.
It had gathered his young body into a cocoon of love and warmth, and whenever he felt despondent and alone, the force would comfort him and sing to him and promise him that all was not lost.
The force showed him his destiny, taught him about life and death; and that there had to be death before life could once again embrace the sun, and smile at the stars.
The evil had ingrained itself too deeply into the core of the galaxy, and only the absolute removal of the Darkness would ensure a new beginning.
that whole section (including the part before it, with him hoping qui would save him) did a beautiful and very effective job of summarizing obi's attitude and why he is such a servant of the force.
now things don't look good for qui.. qui-gon couldn't/wouldn't save obi before, i wonder if obi will save him now....

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THIS story is amazing
For a long time he secretly prayed that Qui-Gon Jinn would come and rescue him from the evil clutches of the Dark side.
He remembered lying in his small cell after being beaten for not learning his lessons quickly enough, and cry himself to sleep.
Hoping that one day the Jedi would come and take him home to the temple.
But he finally realised after what seemed like years, that he was not worth saving as far as they were concerned.
So Obi-wan embraced the pain and looked to the force for liberation.
it's so beautifully written and heart wrenching i love it
poor qui-gon always the raw end of the deal for him.
I tell you if you kill qui-gon I shall drown in my own sea of tears
and sidious
just give me five minutes in a locked room
thats all I need
and hear that? that is the sound of crunching nuckels
brilliant post can't wait for more
p.s the key board aint drowned yet but it might not be long
drip drip
and p.s again thanks for agreeing to not makeing qui suffer thankyouoooooooooo

Just a
WARNING CHARACTER DEATH
I made it as quick and painless as possible
Sidious hesitated too long, and from the burning doorway a blur of brilliant light hit Sidious in the chest and he sailed across the room hitting the wall.
Qui-Gon lifted himself up off the floor. Obi-wan had reached him and was standing next to him, holding Sidious with a burst of force lightening.
But Sidious was strong and he countered Obi-wans burst with one of his own and Obi-wan crashed heavily against the door frame.
Sidious wasted no time in running forward; he wanted to kill Obi-wan.
He ran past Qui-Gon, so intent on his target which was Obi-wan.
Sidious took no notice of Qui-Gon, as he rushed past.
Qui-Gon lurched forward and tackled Sidious, wrapping his arms around the man and force jumped backwards. He turned in mid air forcing Sidious to hit the wall before Qui-Gon did.
While all this was happening the fire that had engulfed the Senate building was raging below them. Suddenly the far side of the room gave way and collapsed down into the remains of the building. Soon the whole building would be a blaze, and the heat from the fire was increasing dangerously fast.
Obi-wan pulled him self away from the gap in the floor, which separated him from Qui-Gon and Sidious. He was just about to jump the distance to the other side when a loud screeching and groaning noise came from outside.
Obi-wan looked behind Qui-Gon who still had his arms wrapped around Sidious and saw the twisted metal spire crumpling. Before Qui-Gon could move, the spire crashed through the window shattering glass and building. The floor which was already weakened by the first collapse, gave way under the weight of the metal section of the spire and the cables that were attached to it seemed to come alive and flew in every direction, several of the wires hit Qui-Gon and Sidious.
Obi-wan watched as the whole section slowly slipped down through the gaping hole, and under that was an inferno. The heat of the fire was almost unbearable.
Obi-wan jumped onto the ledge that was part of the balcony, where the speeder was still sitting. From there he could see Qui-Gon dangling in the wires, and Sidious was further down he was holding the wire and was beginning to climb up towards Qui-Gon.
The weight of the spire was slowly breaking the wires holding it in mid air. It was swinging back and forth wildly. Obi-wan couldn’t reach Qui-Gon and the Jedi Master was tangled so tight in the mass of wires he could not free his arms.
Qui-Gon had lost his sabre and Sidious was climbing up with his Sabre attached to his belt.
Obi-wan knew in that instance that he had no choice. The force had already pre warned him that he must not hesitate. He must destroy Sidious and end his reign of terror for all time.
Master Jinn would just be another casualty. Obi-wan looked at the man that he had so wanted to be apprenticed too. The man that had pushed him away. To be devoured by the Dark side. Up until this moment he had buried any feelings he may have had for the Master Jedi.
There was a fine line between love and hate, and for many years he had hated this man who was dangling, so close to death. He deserved to suffer, for the pain and suffering he had caused. He should still hate him.
But something happened, here at the end of all the treachery. Obi-wan could see past the arrogance. He could see a man who was just as much a victim of circumstance as he was. But he could not turn back now, he knew what he must do, and he would do it.
Qui-Gon was struggling to free his arms from the tangled mess of wires.
He looked down and saw Sidious just inches away from him igniting his sabre.
He looked down past Sidious and saw what was left of the Senate building. It wouldn’t be long now before the whole building would collapse into the inferno below, it was white hot. The flames were glowing, he knew that if Sidious got past him, there was a possibility he may escape.
Qui-Gon looked at Obi-wan just a couple of feet above him, the young mans eyes were reflecting the flames.
It made him look like evil himself, he was glaring at him or was he glaring at Sidious he hoped it was the latter. But Obi-wan had a steely look of determination on his face. Qui-Gon knew what had to be done.
Qui-Gon wanted to make it easier for Obi-wan, as he had accepted his part in all of this.
“I am sorry, for all your pain and suffering, and I know I have no right to ask for forgiveness. I just wanted to say that if I had been stronger and listened to the force more closely, I would have been proud to have been your Master”. Qui-Gon said as he watched Obi-wan ignite his white sabre.
“Do it Obi-wan. Do it now” Qui-Gon stated.
Obi-wan leaned over to touch the last wire holding Sidious and Qui-Gon from imminent death.
“A new beginning is at hand” Obi-wan said as he raised his sabre in a salute.
“The force forgives you, Master Jinn” he said and he swung the sabre from the salute position, and sliced the wire.
Sidious screamed, it was a panic stricken plea “ Noooooo!!” but Qui-Gon just smiled and focused his eyes on Obi-wan as they fell.
Sidious screamed all the way down.
Obi-wan watched as Darth Sidious was consumed by the white hot ash and flames of the senate building.
He kept his eyes on Qui-Gon, until he disappeared, but to his surprise he heard a voice in his head.
// I will be there for you \\
A burst of flames rose up into the gap and the building started to shake, if Obi-wan didn’t go now he would die too.
Obi-wan jumped out into the speeder and pulled an electrical chip out of his pocket.
He pushed it into the controls and the speeder came to life and lifted off into the night sky, just as the building crumpled into a mass of burning wood and furniture.
Brick walls fell into the middle until the whole building was levelled to the ground.
Obi-wan had felt the extinguishing of the two life forces.
Sidious and Jinn were no more.
Obi-wan flew his small craft to the top spire of the Jedi Temple. It was empty now a hollow shell devoid of all life. Obi-wan left the speeder and walked around the side to look at the Senate building. A smouldering pile of ash was all that remained.
He looked to the night sky and realised that he still had a job to do. Darth Sidious may be dead but his accomplices were still hiding out all over the galaxy.
Obi-wan sighed; his life was at a stand still there were no more visions.
The force was silent, what was he supposed to do now, he had defeated the Dark side, but wasn’t he of the Dark side - What was he - Who was he?
He was still too young to be a Master, yet the force had given him a mission. A new beginning. But who could he turn too. He had no friends, they were all dead.
He thought of Garen and Reeft, and how they had died. He had died then too, the boy who was Obi-wan Kenobi, who so wanted to be a Jedi. He Died and in his place was born a Sith, for many years he had done the bidding of Maul,Dooku and Sidious.
He had killed several Jedi, and many traitorous people, all under the guise of the Sith. Obi-wan shook his head; he had even carried a red sabre for several years.
All the anguish and sorrow he felt in his heart made it thump loudly in his chest.
He didn’t want to be a Sith and knew for sure he wasn’t a Jedi and as far as he could tell other than the new born and maybe a few other hidden force sensitive younglings, there was only Yoda left.
(Yoda)
that name made him angry, one who possessed eight hundred years of life, should have had the wisdom of age.
It was his doing that sent Obi-wan down the path he travelled. Because of him he could never regain the light. How ironic it was that he was the one who refused to let Obi-wan be chosen all for his own selfish reasons. Now at the end, or was it the beginning; Yoda was still alive. Yoda who has the future in his hands.
Obi-wan stood up his face was strained and his irritation was rising. He would not allow Yoda to give his wisdom to the younglings. Obi-wan was not worthy to call himself a Jedi, but neither was Yoda.
He ran back to his speeder, with determination he lifted off and headed for the spaceport. Searching through the port he found what he was looking for the Chancellors personal ship. Obi-wan strode up the ramp and once inside he came across the Chancellors Personal red Guards. Four of them were waiting for Darth Sidious’s return.
“Your Master is dead” Obi-wan snapped.
One Red Guard approached Obi-wan. “You lie, Lord Sidious cannot be killed, he will return shortly and he will despatch you” he growled.
“Sidious is dead I am your Master now! You will move aside or you shall join your Master in death” Obi-wan said calmly.
The four red guards did not believe this upstart of a young man, and they each drew red sabres and begun to walk forward towards this pretender of the throne.
They were skilled with a sabre but were no match for Obi-wan who despatched them quickly. He threw their bodies down the ramp and quickly closed the doors.
Walking through the ship he came upon several men who were no doubt slaves, and had the job of piloting the ship. They cowered when he walked towards them for they had seen his quick disposal of the red guards and had heard him say that he was the new Master.
“Get up to not cower before me, stand up! To your posts, I have need of you to pilot this ship and when I reach my destination I will set you free!” He stated.
The men looked at this man who wore the clothes of a Sith, but brandished a white Sabre, they were confused. They did not want to gain the wrath of the Sith Lord no matter who he was, or what colour his sabre was. So they quickly returned to their posts and Obi-wan gave the order.
“Take off, here are the co-ordinates, head there now!” he stated.
The flight took him to Dagabah; he thought that Yoda would return to his home world, he wanted to find out why Yoda had refused to allow him to be a Jedi.
Obi-wan wanted the little green troll to beg for forgiveness, for all the torment he had put Obi-wan through. Years of torment and pain, he had endured at the hands of the Sith.
He searched the force for some indication of where Yoda was hiding and frustration fuelled his anger, because it appeared, after all this time the force had abandoned him, it was silent when he meditated. It was silent when he asked for guidance. It was silent when he asked where Yoda was.
After Obi-wan had been searching for several months, he realised the force was not helping him in his quest to find Yoda, it was urging him to finish what he had started.
He still had Separatists to find, those that still believed in Sidious’s plan for an Empire where one man ruled the galaxy. Obi-wan had never believed in that kind of ruler, no one man should be in total control. That thought reminded him of Yoda again.
The head of the Jedi Council used his power to change the course of destiny.
“He will pay. One day he will pay!” Obi-wan said quietly as he looked out at the stars.

Look what happened while I was busy!
The Senate is a pile of rubble, and the Temple stands empty...
Anakin is dead.
Maul is dead.
Sideous is dead.
Qui-Gon is dead.
And Black Panther is more than a little peeved at Yoda...
Need I say more?
Thanks for the PM, my friend!

Are you by chance a fan of the television show, Supernatural? That is exactly what one of the characters says to his son when he is demanding that he shoot him... but it could just be a happy coincidence.
(Yoda) that name made him angry, one who possessed eight hundred years of life, should have had the wisdom of age. It was his doing that sent Obi-wan down the path he travelled. it was quite a fitting end for both qui-gon and sideous. it was good to see obi let go of all his hatred for qui-gon before his end.
BUT still not happy with yoda it seems! i loved this line...
