"I do not know to what your are referring."

"Of course not," Doombas sneered. "No more than back when you were a scrawny kid and one of the creche Masters caught you peeing in the pond in the garden." Qui-Gon started. Obi-Wan did as well, with renewed interest toward his Master.

Oh My!
What a terrific ending! Including a little revelation from Qui-gon's mystery shrouded past!
At least not his padawan has more proof that his master is indeed human!

I loved that bit!

Perfect ending! You really do write these characters so flawlessly! happy

"Do you still have those dreams?" Garen asked, his features concerned. Garen and Clee had only returned from their long mission that morning.

Surprised, Obi-Wan blinked back. He had forgotten about them and the intense visions of Qui-Gon's sudden death. He shook his head.

"No," he answered. The memory of his nightmares remained, but the emotion had flowed away and been replace by other events. "They're gone."

Yoda, his thoughts clouded with the pleasure of slamming Qui-Gon's head into the floor, had not sensed anything at the time. Yoda had freely admitted this, and spoke up for the possibility that Qui-Gon had really communed the shaman.

Enjoyed it did he? raised_brow Bad little troll. tongue

"Of course not," Doombas sneered. "No more than back when you were a scrawny kid and one of the creche Masters caught you peeing in the pond in the garden." Qui-Gon started. Obi-Wan did as well, with renewed interest toward his Master.

"Cautious with your words you should be," Yoda warned, his tone ominously friendly. "Much could be said of you as well."

Doombas wisely did not reply, but he found a new target.

That is priceless!!! laugh laugh

Lovely ending, but I feel it's over far to quickly. love

Nice ending. I really like Doombas. He is a great character especially his interaction with Qui-Gon. Is there a chance we will see him again?

Loved the whole story.

Alas, I am exceedingly late replying; I'm still catching up. I loved all your responses for this story. It's nice to see when a longer one attracts readers.

earlybird-obi-wan: Thank-you! Doombas knows more about Qui-Gon than Qui-Gon would like. And Yoda knows more than any of them would like. mischief

Valairy_Scot: Thanks! I enjoy writing Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan terribly. happy I just wish it didn't take so long to write longer stories.

LuvEwan: Thank-you! All stories have to end sometime. And I need to get them out of the way so I can write new ones.

Gkilkenny: Thank-you for reading! happy

Fifilla: Thanks; glad you enjoyed it! I'm so late replying this time, but I do appreciate the responses.

ratna: Thank-you! happy

dianethx: It's nice having a character who knows much more about Qui-Gon when he was younger. He's been living in the Temple all his life so there must be lots of them to make him uncomfortable if they start talking. And Yoda must have the baby picture for the whole Jedi Order.

Unfortunately, information about Whills would probably be 'eyes only' information for senior Jedi Masters and Padawans (and Knights) wouldn't be told about it. But Qui-Gon does get to tell Obi-Wan about the Whills, eventually. Thanks for reading.

ClaudiaR: Thank-you! It's nice to hint at times when Qui-Gon was not quite the dignified Jedi Master that he is.

DarthBerryStraw: Thanks! happy

VaderLVR64: Thanks! I just wanted to write a story with Obi-Wan having serious and dire dreams about someone he cared about. Jedi likely are trained to ignore especially emotional dreams and vision because they can lead to trouble. I suppose that's why Obi-Wan told Anakin that his dreams about his mother would pass. They may be true, but they may lead to bad things, too. And Darth Vader lured Luke to Bespin with visions through the Force. But for this story I had Obi-Wan not responding to the dream (well, really being held back) and nothing happens from them.

Healer_Leona: I still maintain that Qui-Gon Jinn really could be annoying enough to make Yoda lose his temper. tongue Yeah, and bad little Yoda might just enjoy that. Or sharing some un-dignified childhood events of any Jedi in the Order if sufficiently provoked. mischief Thanks so much for reading!

azizah: Thank-you! Doombas was fun to write. I suppose I'll consider him for other things, but after I take care of my other plot bunnies.
