Ah! he is considering an apprentice, he should make his mind up and stop beating around the bush. He knows Siri would be a handful. Wake up and see your future don't let Obi-Wan end up in the Agri-corps.

with missions seemingly back to back and I moved due to ah…well. I moved. Let's just leave it at that.

Woah, two years, Qui-Gon? Tsk tsk. Neglecting your journal, eh? For shame. 
Yes, you must pick Obi-Wan, Qui!
Lol, Qui-Gon taking Siri as a padawan?! That would be... Interesting... Two of the most defiant, stubborn Jedi in the entire order as a master/padawan team? May the terrors be released!  No, Qui-Gon is much better suited with Obi-Wan.

Both are wise choices but we all know who Qui is meant to train and I'm sure he'll come to realize it as well.
Thankfully, we only had to wait 2 SW years for an update and not 2 real ones

Though, now I'm feeling more confused with the options presented to me. In time, hopefully things will grow clearer.
Perhaps I am not to choose just yet and I'm to wait a few more years.

Entry Twenty-Two
Today Master Dooku and I had lunch.
We went to Dex's Diner.
We feasted on tradalon burgers and ribs with mashed galava roots and gravy. For dessert, I had a slice of cake with chocolate icing and my Master had a slice of semi-sweet chocolate pie, and a scoop of vanilla sweet ice on top.
It's always interesting for us to be out and about mingling in such a place like Dex's, mainly because of how the local population reacts to us. Some have never seen a Jedi before in their lives and are quite astonished to see us walk in, let alone the stares we get as we pile our plates with food and devour it all.
Jedi are normal human beings just like everyone else. I think the mystique surrounding us makes others afraid of us, or surprised, I'm not sure which, but I don't know that it's a good thing. I do wish we were among the common people more, so they wouldn't be so shocked to see us out and about, but that's for another day.
My lunch with my master was quite nice; it's been awhile since we have caught up with each other.
We talked about potential padawans and I mentioned the two I have my eye on.
He is also considering Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Well this is an interesting development. I don't know that I ever thought about possibly rivaling my Master for an apprentice. My Master is one of the best in the Order, his skill with the lightsaber is unmatched and his ambassadorial skills are quite impressive as well.
I don't really think the personalities involved would make that a good match, but I could be wrong.
I've been wrong before.
But it doesn't feel right to me, yet I'm not sure why it does not.
I mentioned my other choice to him and he did think that Siri might be a good match for me, he'd watched her a time or two himself, but the Force was prodding him in a different direction.
If the Force is prodding him towards Obi-Wan, but it feels wrong to me, what does that mean?
I'm not sure and I don't really like it either.
I suppose I'll spend even more time in meditation.

Listen to the Force! It's wrong - wrong - wrong. Obi belongs with Qui (at least until Anakin comes along  )

Now you are plotting against your readers, trying to make

Ok I'll bite of course it is wrong, and Obi-Wan would not like Dooku  especially if he turns to the darkside.
Qui-Gon wouldn't handle Siri but then again maybe
she would keep him on his toes.

Oh, I love this! If I had a change to choose, this certainly is the diary I would pick to read, Qui-Gon's  And you make it possible now!
I love your portrayal of him and how you use his own voice for this. It gives you an excellent way to show us his inner thoughts and doubts, like in this last enstallment. You did leave some things out though, like why he moved!! Not nice to only hint at it to your pour readers
And you really should encourage him to write WAY more often in his diary! I'm interested in all the details (although he does seem to have a thing for food, lol)
Do you have a pm list for updates? Could I please, please, please be on it????

Ooooh.... Interesting! Dooku vs. Qui-Gon! *ding!* I'll be watching this one closly. Nothing like a master/former-padawan squabble to mix things up! Can't wait to see where you go with this...
Oh, and I'm still recovering from the image of Qui-Gon having to deal with a 15/16 year old, stubborn Siri Tachi. Not to mention the hormones... :P Even the idea makes me laugh.

I'm enjoying Qui-Gon as a young knight. You've really got my attention now that he's been struck by gonna-get-a-padawan fever.
I agree with other readers that I can't really picture Obi-Wan with Dooku, and I hope that he is paired with Qui-Gon. Still...now I really want to read a story where Qui-Gon takes Siri. I really think there would be spectacular adventures and fireworks!
This is so fun. I can't wait to see how the Qui-Gon/Dooku tug-of-war turns out. I hope they don't pull too hard and make Obi-Wan go splat!
