LordNyax113: Thank you. I am looking for to KOTOR as well.
KELIA: Yes, it was amazing the advice that Mada's sister gave to her. Hopefully like you said, she will adhere to it.
Golden_Jedi: Yes, a very simple and true statement that's incredibly mushy as well.
VaderLVR64: Yes, it was a great passage and I am glad that you liked it.
amidalachick: Yes, again, this part just seemed perfect.
Healer_Leona: Superb reply.
Mada walked outside below the vast tree houses that the Wookiees had constructed for their homes. She was amazed by their race that communicated by sound not words. But of course to the Wookiees, their sounds were words. And to them, words from her and Yoda were merely sounds and not words. It was an interesting perspective.
Each race had a different language. Even amongst the Wookiees, a few different dialects were spoken. It was in vast contrast to her race which spoke only one language, and that language was very similar with the Basic that Yoda spoke.
"Why is our language so close to Yoda's and not the Wookiees?" she asked her mother. "I don't know," Veron replied to her, "I guess we have more in common with his race than theirs."
"You mean we are more like lizards then bears?" Mada inquired. "I don't know if I would say that," her mother teased her by sticking out her tongue, "It doesn't suit us well, does it?"
"Mom, quit teasing around," Mada playfully responded, "I'm trying to ask a serious question."
"Listen," Veron calmly replied, "It's not something to worry about. After all, aren't there more serious things to wonder about? Like this Force that Yoda speaks of."
"I guess so," Mada stated plainly, "I should resume my training, I suppose."
"That's my girl," her mother cheerfully stated, "Now, learn well and use well."
"Thanks mom," Mada waved to her, "I'll do my best."
Mada strode up to Yoda who was using his gimer stick to draw in the mud. "What are you doing?" she asked him. Yoda didn't answer her at first. He merely studied her for a few seconds. "Well?" she asked him again. "Patience," Yoda replied, "You must learn patience."
"Is that all?" she beamed at him. "No, more than that there is," Yoda instructed her, "Much more you have to learn, there is."
"So, when do I start?" she inquired cheerfully. "Already started have you," Yoda responded, "Patience your first lesson will be."
Yoda had Mada raise some boulders. Then he had her run with him on her shoulders. Next he had her stand on just one hand while balancing him on top of her foot. Each task she did without questioning him. Each task she took to easily. Each task she did remarkably well for being the first time she had used her powers.
"Good... good," Yoda gleefully responded to each of her advancements, "Strongly the Force flows through you."
She could feel it pulsating through her. It made her feel strong even though she was weak. It made her feel energetic when she should have felt weary. It made her feel at ease when she should have felt contempt. Each task she accomplished easier and faster than the previous one. She was indeed becoming one with the Force.

She was indeed becoming one with the Force.
That can only be a good thing!
I see Yoda's training techniques haven't changed much...but then why change what works so well?
Great update

I really liked this line: "So, when do I start?" she inquired cheerfully. "Already started have you," Yoda responded, "Patience your first lesson will be."

sidious618: Thank you. I am glad that you are enjoying the story.
KELIA: Yes, at least Yoda is consistent with his training techniques.
VaderLVR64: Thanks again for enjoying the story.
amidalachick: Yes, that was a great passage. Thank you for enjoying it.
Healer_Leona: Yes, it was pretty cute. Thank you as well.
"Go now you must," Yoda told Veron, "The child no longer your presence can have."
"That seems pretty harsh," Veron stated curtly, "Our race is one that has always been closely knit."
"That is what separated you must now be," Yoda replied plainly, "No further attachment can the child now have. Otherwise, no further can I teach her."
"Well, maybe she doesn't need anymore of your teaching!" Veron berated Yoda, "She is my child and I do not want to be separated from her. And, I know that she will feel the same way about me."
Yoda just stared at her plainly and fidgeted with his gimer stick in the dirt. After a couple of silent minutes he spoke again. "Decide the child must do," he told her, "Stop her from going with you I will not."
"Well, that's a relief," Veron sighed loudly, "For a minute there, I thought you were going to forcefully keep her."
"Done before we have," Yoda explained, "Do again if the Force tells me to."
"What?!" Veron shouted, "You've taken children from their parents just because this Force of yours tells you to! How outrageous is that?! You've got a thing or two to learn you misguided horn-toad!"
"No longer discuss this with you will I," Yoda humphed and started to walk away. "That's right!" Veron bellowed, "Go back to your swamp you coward! You and those Wookiees of your can just swing from the trees for all I care!"
Veron went back to her tent and started to pack up her few belongings and those of her daughter's as well. 'The sooner we are out of here, the better,' she told herself, 'I can't believe that they would abduct someone's child just because of some Force-thing telling them to do so' she sounded exasperated, 'The nerve of that little ugly looking toad-like creature has definitely hit a raw nerve' she started to now cry, 'I don't want to lose my daughter to him or his stupid Force'.
Veron was now growing impatient for her daughter to come home from her daily training. She was going to make sure that they both left as soon as she came home. 'I should have just gone there and pulled her out right then and there' she fumed at herself, 'I hope that little toad doesn't brainwash her into wanting to stay' she now openly worried.
The night started to envelop the landscape of Kashyyyk and now Veron was very worried about her daughter. She still had not returned home. She now decided to go out to Yoda's tent and demand that her daughter come with her. She was prepared to forcefully yank her daughter from him if she had to do so.
She got close to his tent and saw that it was dark. 'That's odd' she thought as she knocked on the door. Instantly, some lights were lit and she could here someone coming to the door. It was Yoda. "What do you want?" he asked her. "My daughter," she stated succinctly, "Where is she?"
"Know I do not," Yoda told her plainly, "Told her I did of her decision to either go with you or stay and continue to train with me, I did."
"So, what did she do then?" Veron questioned him. "Nothing," Yoda replied truthfully, "Asked for time to think about it, she did. So, left her to make her decision I decided to do."
"What?!" Veron shouted, "Are you out of your mind?! She probably didn't know what to do! She's probably decided to run away now and it's all your fault!"
"Go and look for her I will," Yoda told her but was cut off -, "Oh no you don't!" Veron yelled, "Not without me coming with you as well!"
"Fine," Yoda humphed, "Come with me then."

Asked for time to think about it, she did. So, left her to make her decision I decided to do.
Perhaps she just found a quiet place to meditate?
I certainly hope so, though I don't relish the confrontation that's about to take place.
Great update

I love Veron in this post. She's a worthy opponent for Yoda!
"Go and look for her I will," Yoda told her but was cut off -, "Oh no you don't!" Veron yelled, "Not without me coming with you as well!"
"Fine," Yoda humphed, "Come with me then."
Hee! This should be good!
I'm anxious to see what Mada decides.
Great update!

I'm with Veron. If I were her, I would be asking Yoda how he knew it was the Force telling him to kidnap kids, and not himself, some other weird outside force, or the Dark Side? If Veron knows about the Dark Side....And what reason does Veron really have to trust the Force, anyhow? None. So shove off, Yoda.

Healer_Leona: Yes, but it is a true story of how the Jedi take the younglings sometimes away from their parents.
VaderLVR64: Yes, interesting choice of words for sure.
KELIA: What was Yoda thinking anyway?
amidalachick: It should be interesting anyway once they find Mada.
Meredith_Kenobi: It is an interesting question that is definitely left ambiguous by Lucas as to how the Jedi acquire the younglings.
Veron was steaming as she purposely stomped each step that her and Yoda took. It she could give him a piece of her mind and then some, she would, so that is exactly what she decided to do. "What gives you the right to take children away from parents anyway?" she asked him briskly.
Yoda looked at her and saw that she was furious. "The Force guides us, it does," he started to explain, "Completely contempt most parents are to see their children as Jedi," he continues, "Do not understand most do as to what unique gifts their children have."
"But, what about the ones who do not want your interference?" she hawked at him. "A few times we have not taken the child or children," Yoda explains to her more, "A purpose The Force instills in a child though and soon they come to us anyway."
"So, you are telling me that there has never been an instance where this Force or you did not take a child?" she glared at him. "Never," Yoda stated plainly, "Always The Force has brought the child one way or another to us."
"Well, I don't believe it," Veron snapped at him, "That's impossible for such a thing to happen."
"No, not impossible is The Force," Yoda tried to tell her, "Surrounds us it does, between me an you, feel it everywhere I can."
"And Mada feels this Force the same way?" Veron asked him now a little bit more seriously. "See we will when we find her," Yoda replied serenely as he suddenly stopped. "Danger I sense," he announced, "Hurry me must."
