This part right here...this part...was nearly unbearable.
He reached out and grabbed his youngest daughter into his arms. "You're safe now, Nata," he told her trying to calm her emotions. "Father... oh Father... Thank you for rescuing me," Nata cried out to him. He looked and saw that now the distance between where a safe spot was and their location was too much of a distance for them to make.
"Veron!" he shouted... "I love you!" he shouted as the precipice crumbled closer to the edge of the giant chasm. "Hesu!" Veron bellowed back, "I love you too!" She and Mara cried as they watched Hesu and Nata finally fall into the void.
Oh my gosh. 
Both mother and daughter were encased in a deep hibernation within the crystalline enclosure. They traveled to the edge of their solar system and beyond towards the center of the galaxy. They entered a strange looking planet and landed in a small lake that enveloped their small crystalline pocket.
Whoa. *tilts head in fascination* Kewl. 
This is an awesome story.

Healer_Leona: Thanks. It was pretty unexpected.
Meredith_Kenobi: Yes, it was a grim part of her father and sister's death.
Veron and Mada stared at the strange dimunitive creature. It had just three fingers and 3 toes and it was green. Almost like an enlarged toad. "Questions you have?" it asked them. "Where... where are we?" Veron queried.
They could see huge forests and lots of plants everywhere close to the lake where they crashed. "Kashyyyk... the planet you are on is," the strange creature answered, "Home of the Wookiee's this is," he continued.
"What's a Wookiee?" Mada inquired. A tall dark brown furry creature barked at the duo. "That is a Wookiee," the small green alien answered, "His name is Tarffull, a companion of mine he is."
"And you are?" Veron asked. "Yoda... my name is Yoda," the small creature replied, "A Jedi Master I am. Learn the ways of the Force your young one will."
"The Force?" Mada inquired. "Strongly the Force resides in you," Yoda answered, "Flows you and me it does. The Force is life and life is the Force."
"And I have this Force?" Mada asked unbelievably. "Yes..." Yoda answered narrowing his eyes, "Very powerful in the Force you are... very powerful."
"I can't be that powerful," Mada stated, "If I was so powerful, then why did my father and sister have to die!" she cried.
"No not of this power did you at the time," Yoda calmly replied, "No fault of their deaths should you have. At peace in the Force are they now."
Mada paused and realized that the creature was speaking the truth. She could feel that they indeed were at peace. Both Hesu her father and Nata her sister were happy and together. "I can see them," she told him, "They are happy. They are together. They are safe. They are at peace."
"Yes..." Yoda urged her, "See through the Force their presence you do."
"Mother," Mada explained, "I can see them! I can see them!" she cried into her mother's arms. "I believe you," Veron calmed her, "I believe you."

Wow! You've got some really cool twists in this story! I love the inclusion of Yoda and Tarffull.
Mada and Veron are such strong characters. I'm glad they know Hesu and Nata are at peace.

'Listen and you will hear', Nata spoke to Mada in her dreams, 'Many things are now possible with your power', she continued, 'Use these powers for good as your good natured heart directs', she instructed her sister, 'Let the one called Yoda teach you as well. He is very powerful in the Force, but you are even more powerful then he is. Be careful with this power. It makes you unique. It makes you powerful. It makes you complete'.
Suddenly, Mada's eyes flashed open and she was in the middle of a huge ocean, bobbing along with the tide. The waves swirled around her and it seemed as if the whirling current surrounded her. She could see the edges of the whirlpool as its dark circumference now grew tighter and tighter and she was being pulled deeper and deeper into the bottomless abyss.
But, she was still amongst the violent swirling current around her tiny frame. The water tried to swallow her into its mighty pit, but she now rose above the waves entirely. She could feel the water lapping at her feet as it tried to snatch her back into its dark and sinister grip.
She outstretched her tiny, bony hands and a mist escaped from her fingertips. It instantly caused the water to float away along this smoky fog that now coalesced all around Mada. Now, she walked amongst the cloudy fog as it formed a small, neat line to the shore. As she stepped on the shore, the fog disappeared behind her.
Now, she was on a beach that stretched outward towards the horizon. In front of her stood an immense jungle that clicked with the noises of various animals and creatures. In the distance, a huge mountain capped with glistening white snow caught her eye. It's brightness shone through the dense jungle like a powerful light.
She followed the light with the darkness surrounding her on both sides. A small path of light with dark paths of evil to either side of her. The lighted path was just a mere two meters wide. But those two meters felt like an immense distance to Mada. It felt calming. It felt cool. It felt true. It felt powerful. It felt peaceful. It felt lovely. It was the right path through this perilous jungle.
She reached the base of the mountain and started to climb it by staying on the lighted path. She felt no exhaustion; just rejuvenation with each step she took to its' summit. The temperature cooled and she exhaled her breath in front of her. It splashed across her face like a tiny mist that helped to cool her face even more.
As she neared the summit, the darkness started to subside from her. The lighted path now seemed to dominate the landscape as she finally looked out below. The darkness that use to be below was now glowing in a brilliant light that shown from each side all around her. The entire planet was now glistening in white. A pure white. A simple white. A new white.
"Wake up my child," Veron woke her child, "It is time to eat".
"I already have my nourishment," Mada blinked at her, "And it is within the Force."

I love the way this story is written. It has a very...mythological feel.
