Title: Claustrophobic Emptiness

Timeframe: Mostly during the Dark Age of the Republic
Characters: The main ones are all original, with a few minor canon people.
Genre: Action, drama, however you describe an evaluation of a psyche during a galaxy-wide war.
Keywords: New Sith Wars, Republic Dark Age, Jedi
Summary: Rel'miar, a bird-like alien Jedi, fights against the Sith with the Army of Light. As the war comes towards its one thousandth birthday, he feels an increasing responsibility to help the crumbling Republic. This, mixed with his race's natural instincts, wants, and fears, puts him in an incredibly complicated situation. And he isn't good at complicated situations.
Notes: Forgive me if I screw up some canon here, but I like trying to write fic in timelines I haven't read any of the books of. So if something happened with the New Sith Wars that I don't know about, oh well, makes it more fun.

A/N: This is our response to Life’s A Stage Musical Challenge. The challenge was:
Write a story, any genre based on the song, "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away" from the Beatle's musical, "Help!". It does not have to be a songfic, but must include at least four lines from the song. Bonus if you include lines from any of the other songs from "Help!"
Title: Spindrift
Author: JediNemesis
Era: 7000+ years before TPM
Genre: Angst-ish, introspection-ish, maybe verging on romance.
Characters: OCs
Summary: On a mission to an alien world, a young Jedi has to deal with his feelings.
Note: This vignette stands fine alone, but fits into the same miniverse as a number of my other stories. For those interested, this takes place fourteen years before Ice and 20 before Seventy and Seven Shades of Green.
Warning: This fic could be read as suggesting/implying/referencing a same-sex relationship. The story as posted has been approved by the mods, but if you have a problem with the basic concept, click away now. Summary: A young Yoda has an emotional breakdown and receives help & comfort from an unexpected source.
Notes: I know there's that story about Yoda being trained on Dagobah by N'Kata Del Gormo, but since there's already a discrepancy with the place (GL said that Yoda had never been to Dagobah prior to the Jedi Purge), I figured that the rest of the story could be taken as non-cannon as well.
