“Yes Obi-Wan. I know but it is only for a day and a night. Master Nas-Aena has to visit the healer’s for that ingrown nail job.”
“Sure, master taking after the animal she cares for.”
“Padawan!”
“She is Bothan and she has large nails.”
Qui-Gon Jinn smiled when he pictured the old Bothan teacher with her large nails. ‘Obi-Wan is right of course. Yes, she sure can be ticklish. Ticklish. Yeah that will teach him a lesson.’
“Geez master, don’t, you know I don’t like that”
“What?”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Using the Force to scrape your nails on that plate, frivolous use of the Force master. Grr, Aauw, stop it.”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
Obi-Wan was squirming on the floor of the apartment looking at the Rockhound in his master’s arms, trying to shut his ears from the screeching noise which even felt like the tickling of so many hairs of said rodent moving along his spine and waist. “Hey! Can you ah grr aah stop.”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Sure but you have to do something”
“No not that” and he felt more marching antsy ants on his back and the little rodent being rocked gently and making cooing sounds. Sounds like “Oh noooh”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Ye yeah ooh I will”
“I will stop, here take her. And about frivolous use, you know, masters can use that when they like it.”
“This is bad” Obi-Wan said and he took the offered Rockhound from Qui-Gon’s arms.
He tried to hold the animal without moving it to suddenly but the rodent sensed his unease and started to move its little front paws.
“It tickles. Can I put it somewhere?”
“After I have cleaned the box.”
Obi-Wan saw his master starting to put new straw in the large box and hopped from foot to foot silently urging him to hurry.
“Haatschi”
“Yes Obi-Wan”
“Haa haatschi”
“Ah, come you can put her in the box.”
With a relieved smile on his face Obi-Wan dropped the Rockhound feather-light into the box and ran towards the fresher to clean his hands and face.
Qui-Gon just grinned and put the box with the Rockhound in the hallway.
Coming back Obi-Wan said with a small grin on his face “why have you offered master Nas-Aena our services. I know of a far better place to put this Rockhound. She appreciates them greatly.”
“Adi Gallia?”
“No”
“Bant”
“No”
“Ah not that one. Nu Obi-Wan?”
“Yes master. I have heard that story from master Perion.”
Qui-Gon’s eyes started to gleam with laughter and he said “serious Padawan?”
“Yes master. I heard from him that master Nu appreciates Rockhounds, seven Rockhounds to be precise. Haatschi”
“Yes you and anything furry and little.”
“Haatschi, little fuzzy animals bother me.”
Qui-Gon thought about his adventure with the seven Rockhounds and master Nu and found them interrupted by more haatschi’s from his Padawan. And seeing the tears streaming down Obi-Wan’s face ‘He sure is allergic to cat- and Rockhound-fur, that brings me another idea. But will he appreciate it?’
“Haatschi” and Obi-Wan disappeared again in the fresher.
‘No cannot have a sneezing Padawan and a visit to the healers. Councilmember Mace Windu is at home and he will relieve me of this burden if I tell him about my Padawan’s peril. And he owes me a favour.’
He picked up the box and walked down the hallway to the apartment of Mace Windu.
“Master Jinn, good afternoon”
“Mace, I have a little problem and you owe me. Can you help?”
“Ooh no, you know little fuzzy animals bother me.”
“Mace, you were 8 years old when I brought that Rockhound in the crèche.”
“Yes and it brought trouble, big trouble.”
Tip tap, tip tap.
“Trouble you say?”
“Yes big trouble.”
“Cute little animal, take her I will. Sensed trouble little one had.”
“Sigh”
“She is from master Nas-Aena”
“Know of it. Will take Rockhound home tomorrow I will” and the little Jedi Master tip tapped away floating the box in front of him.
“That has you of the hook Mace.”
"And you, go back and take care of Obi-Wan. And Master Jinn before entering your apartment”
“Yes?”
“Clean your robe.”
Qui-Gon removed his robe and smiled when he saw the fuzzy white hairs adorning the garment and he started to remove them.
It took him some time to clean the entire robe and after dropping the hairball in one of the disposal chutes he entered his apartment.
Obi-Wan was sitting on the couch, sniffling a bit and teary eyed. He asked with a tiny voice “she is gone?”
Qui-Gon said taking a seat next to his Padawan and picking up a handkerchief to wipe the tears away “yes Obi-Wan, no more little fuzzy animals to bother you.”
Obi-Wan gave him a grateful smile and relaxed. “Is she staying with Master Windu?”
“No, Master Yoda came and took her.”
“Uh master.”
“Yes Obi-Wan?”
“I won’t be anymore disrespectful of my teacher’s nails.”
“I know”
“Screeeeech, screeeeeaaach”
“Master!”

 poor obi he's allergic to fur. I'd die if I was allergic to animals. I love animals and I have five.

I can't imagine life without my furry friends!  But I love what you did here!

I think Qui-Gon did that on purpose, he should know Obi is allergic
to fur. 
It is time to get him back Obi, what is Qui-Gon allergic to.
