Lando looked at Luke and Han after Leia ordered Rabe's arrest. THey all knew that Leia was acting out of anger.
"You know that Head of Republic worlds have total immunity. Neither she or any member of her offical party can be arrested" Han points out.
"What do you recomended then Han" Leia asks.
"Find out why she is here. I agree with Luke. I don't see the Queen of Naboo coming with a small party to try and reform the empire." Han adds as he turns to C3P0
"Is there anything R2 can tell us?" Han asks
"Well R2?" C3P0 asks. R2 gives off several beeps as everyone wondered what R2 was going to say.
"Princess Leia, R2 says that we both were given by Queen Rabe and Master Obi-Wan Kenobi to your mother with the mission to watch over you after her death." C3P0 informs her.
Back at there quarters Dorme and the other handmaiden was with Rabe who looked out the window. She suddenly felt a little dizzy and was helped to a chair.
"Are you all right milady?" Dorme asked worried
"I'm fine" Rabe tells her friend.
Dorme sits next to Rabe.
"You can't lie to me milady." Dorme tells her.
Rabe smiled at her handmaiden and oldest friend. They both were the only ones of Padme's handmaidens still alive.
"I guess I can't. Do you remember when Obi-Wan and Yoda took Padme and the twins?" Rabe asked.
"Of course. There was a moment when Master kenobi and you were alone." Dorme said
"When he gave me the disc he old told me that I would die within a year of Palpatine and Anakin. Unless......." Rabe said
"Unless what?" DOrme asked worried.
"The illness in me can be cured only if two Jedi's working together use the force to cure me." Rabe says.
"Two jedi's? But there is only one Jedi." DOrme says
"No. There are two. Only Luke AND Leia working together can save me." Rabe tells Dorme

Dorme just watched Rabe after learning about Rabe's illness and that only Luke AND Leia could cure her.
"If two Jedi could cure you then why didn't Masters Yoda and Kenobi cure you?" Dorme asked.
Rabe sighed as her mind went back to that day in the throne room when Obi-Wan told her about the ilness.
FLASHBACK
NABOO THRONE ROOM
Rabe just stared at Kenobi. He had aged so much since the first time she had met him. She looked out the same window Padme did when the Trade Federation entered Tweed.
Soon another invader would enter her city. But this time there would be no battle of Naboo.
THis time the QUeen had no choice but to surrender to the invader.
"Your highness. Palpatine will soon be here." Obi-Wan told her.
"After all these years call me Rabe." Rabe said.
"All right Rabe. We don't have much time. You understand?" Kenobi asked/
"Yes. But this illness in me?" Rabe asked. "WHy can't you and Master Yoda cure me?" Rabe asked
"Because Palpatine will know. He needs you to be ill. He needs to be the one who is keeping you alive. Byu doing so he will think you are under his control." Obi_Wan explained.
Rabe turned to face Obi-Wan with a look of total anger.
"PALPATINE WAS THE ONE WHO POISIONED ME. I would rather die by his hands then beg him for my life." Rabe said.
"And Naboo?" Obi-Wan asked.
"The people of Naboo want to fight. We feel responible for this. Palpatine was from Nabo. We need to fight even if it means our death." Rabe said.
Obi-Wan smiled as he placed his hand on Rabe's shoulder.
"This isnt Naboo's battle. You must help the twins restore the jedi order when this darkness ends. Thats why the Jedi COuncil has trusted you with all of the Jedi records.
Naboo must help restore what is lost. And to do that you must give in to Palpatine. That is Naboo's destiny and it is your dstiny as well Rabe" Kenobi said.
"Your right. Go beofre it is to late. May the force be with you BEN." Rabe said wiht a smile
"And with you Rabe" Kenobi said as he hugged Rabe and left Naboo.
END FLASHBACK
Rabe finshed her story and got up.
"Its time for me to get some sleep. Goodnight Dorme" Rabe said.
"Night milady" Dorme said as she watched Rabe went to sleep

Luke had trouble sleeping. He finally got up and looked out into the night. The lights of Coursant were so different from what he grew up with.
Luke turned around to see Ben Kenobi staning in the room with him.
"Hello Luke. "Ben said with a smile.
"Somehow I knew that you would be here." Luke told him.
"I figured that you had some questions after meeing Rabe." Ben said.
"I don't know if I can trust her. Leia tells me that she and her world betrayed the Republic and the Jedi.
Is it true?" Luke asked.
"No. Naboo did NOT betray the Republic. They were the ones who were betrayed. I still remember my first visit there.
I was just a Padwan Learner and Rabe was a handmaiden to Queen Amidala. We both had masters to serve." Ben paused as he remembered that moment.
"SO much happened on that mission. I lost my master and a good friend and I gained a student and new friend only to lose him to the dark side." Ben said with a sad look.
"My father?" Luke asked.
"Yes." Ben said.
"Tell me about him?" Luke asked?
"No, That is part of the reason why she is here Luke. To tell you AND Leia about both your parents." Ben said.
"THen why are you here?" Luke asked.
"TO tell you that you need to get Leia to listen to Rabe. That she poses no risk to anyone." Ben explains.
"Thats not going to be easy." Luke said.
"I know. Leia is angry about the past. But Leia needs to overcome her anger. Before becoming a Jedi Knigt a padwan must go though the trials. Vader was yours. This is Leia's.
When Anakin was first brought before the Jedi COuncil they refused to train Anakin. They sensed the anger in him. Anger is the path to the dark side Luke. And if Leia contiues to hold on to her anger she can be led down the path of the dark side.
QUeen Rabe of the Naboo is not a threat to bring back the darkness. Leia is unless she can let go of this anger.
Rabe is the symbol of that anger Luke. She has been brought her by the force as a test to see if Leia can overcome this anger or will the angerovercome her and lead down the same path Anakin did and toward the darkness." Ben said before leaving Luke alone in his room.

The following morning Luke heard a knock on the door. When he went to the door he was suprised to see that it was Han.
"COme on in. Can I get you anything?" Luke said as Han came in and took a seat.
"I'm fine Luke. I am here about Leia. I am concerned about her." Han told Luke.
"So am I. The anger I semse in her is not good." Luke said.
"Do you hve any idea on what we can do to help her?" Han asked.
"Leia needs to confront the past. A lot of it her still not being used to the idea of being Vader's daughter." Luke explained.
"Its still a suprise. Both of you being Vader's children. But your right she does need to deal with her past." Han said agreeing with Luke.
"The problem is that neither one of us really know what happened in the past. We weren't born then. What we need is for Leia ot talk to someone who knows the truth.
The Queen will not talk until Leia is ready. R2 is programed not to sya anything and C3P0 had his memory wipped." Luke explained.
"What we need is to find someone from that time period who can talk to Leia." Han tells Luke. "But who?" Han asked.
"Mon Mothma. She is scheduled to arrive today and I plan to meet her ship and explain the situation." Luke tells Han.
"Perfect. She did serve in the Seante during that time along with that period and can alk to Leia about it." Han said with a smile.
"Its not only for Leia. I have some questions myself." Luke said. "I should go. Her ship should be landing soon. Luke said as he left.
He waited on the landing platform as Mon Mothma's ship landed on the platform. She stepped off the ship and came up to Luke and smiled at him.
"Hello Luke." Mon Mothma said with a smile silently wondering why he had come alone to see her. But in the distance she saw Rabe's ship.
Her eyes went wide as she took some steps toward the ship.
"It can't be. I haven't seen a ship from Naboo for.........Luke, Whose ship is that?" She asked.
"Her highness......." Luke said not able to finsh.
"Rabe, here on Coursant?" Mon Mothma asked Luke.
"You knew her?" Luke asked.
"I need to see her Luke." She said.
RABE'S Apartment.
Two of Rabe's handmaidens were inside while Dorme was with Rabe in her inner chamber.
"SOmeone wishes to see you your Highness." The Handmaiden told Rabe.
Mom Mothma came into the room.
"Its been a very long time Rabe." Mon Mothma told Rabe.
Rabe nodded as she looked at the woman wondering how she was going to react.
"Its great seeing you old friend." Mon Mothma said with a smile as the two women and old friends hugged.

Rabe smiled after embracing her old friend Mon Mothma. The two women then sat down as Rabe looked at Dorme who was standing watch as usual.
"Could you leave us alone Domre." Rabe asked.
"Of course" Dorme said as she left the room. The two women just stared at each other in silence for a few seconds.
"How have you been? There have been so many times I have worried about you and Naboo." Mon Mothma asked.
"Naboo is fine. Palpatine made sure that we were treated well. We were well treated prisoners." Rabe explained.
"Bal Organa and I always wondered what was happenning on Naboo." Mon Mothma asked.
"We always had two Star Destroyers in orbit to prevent anyone from leaving or landing on Naboo. And even the crews were forbidden from landing on Naboo. Palpatine was the only person ever to come and go as he pleased.
I was allowed to board the ships for meeting with the Admaral in charge of thefleet. I even met Anakin a few times.
When word of Palpatine and Anakins death reached us the crews of the ships surrenderd to me."Rabe explained.
"Speaking of Anakin. Is it true about him being Luke and Leia's father?" Mon Mothma asked.
"Yes. Obi-Wan and Yoda wanted it kept secret to protect them." Rabe said.
"If Anakin is theier father then who is their mother?" Mon Mothma asked.
Rabe got up and looked out the window at the city. She spoke in a low and sad voice.
"Padme." Rabe said.
"PADME?" Mon Mothma said suprised. But the last time I saw her she was NOT pregnant. And that was just before her death." Mon MOthma added.
"How did we first meet?"Rabe asked.
Mom Mothma thought back to that time. She was just a jr. Senate aide while Rabe was still a handmaiden.
"The decoy prodecure? I thought that after Corde and Verse she vowed never to do it again." Mon Mothma said.
"When Padme learned she was pregnant She was advise by Mace WIndu and Yoda that unless she hid her pregnancy that she and the twins would be killed. And so she agrred." Rabe said.
Mon Mothma joined Rabe at the window and looked out toward the public tomb where Psdme Heroine of the Empire was burried.
"Then who is burried here on Coursant?" Rabe was asked.
"Sabe. She was brought out of retirement to do this. She knew that she would be killed and didn't care." Rabe asnwered.
Mon Mothma looked at the picture on Rabe's desk. It was a picture of Padme and her handmaidens taken before the Trade Federation invaion.
"I always said that there was nobody more brave and loyal then a handmaiden from Naboo" Mon Mothma told Rabe.
"The six of us were so close. I miss them so much. Dorme and the others are great but nothing beats what we had." Rabe said as he voice broke.
Mon Mothma put her arms around her friend.
"Does Luke and Leia know yet?" Mon Mothma asked.
"Luke and I have met. But Leia is refusing to see me. I can sense her anger toward Naboo and toward Padme and me. But she and Luke are part Naboo and need to know this." Rabe explained.
"She has been though a lot. Seeing the world she thought of as home destoryeed by the empire. And now dealing with the fact that Vader was her father." Mon Mothma explained.
"And it was anger that drew Anakin toward the dark side. Leia needs to deal with it before her anger starts her down the same path." Rabe said.
"Do you want me to talk to Leia?" Mon Mothma asked.
"That would be great." Rabe said with a smile.
"THen I will go see her. I was supposed to meet Leia anyway." Mon Mothma said as they got up and hugged again before Mon Mothma left.

Great story I'm really enjoying it. I just hope Leia finally gets over her false facts and goes to visit Rabe.
