Hello!
I've been sort of working on this fanfic with the help of Trickster. I'm posting the first little piece of the fic, just to see reactions and maybe it'll motivate me to write more. *LOL* Well, hope you like it!

Fallen
Everything seemed so crisp, so clean to Jagged Fel. He knew his orders and the duties that needed to be done, and the training he went through to get this far. He knew his father’s temper and strict orders and the legacy set before him. What he didn’t know, or understand, was Jaina Solo. She had made him think twice, something foreign to his mind. The sensation he felt when she entered a room and the way her determination and challenging eyes sent a chill up his spine, something that, before, only his father’s menacing stare do. Somehow, over the course of three years, he had fallen in love with her. He had known it in the back of his mind, but had denied the fact until it slapped him in the face.
He should have known when the tragic news of a Solo dying in battle, when his heart had stopped and his stone face had collapsed to the point that his father had noticed. The thought that Jaina, who he had met for no more than an hour at a political meeting, had been killed hit him hard, and the relief, to his surprise, had hit even harder. Maybe he was waiting for her, for her to show some sign to guild him, to lead him to her heart. When he had thought his life had come to an end, she had come to save him, avoiding her superiors’ orders over the communication systems. Finally, a sign, but he had to be certain. With a comforting hug and a blissfully and awakening kiss, they both realized the bottled feelings.
Making decisions around her was a challenge. Keeping up with that sharp tongue of hers and wisecrack comments could only rival two infamous figures, Han Solo and Mara Jade Skywalker. He almost had to try with her, another thing he wasn’t accustomed to doing. To think of it, nothing around Jaina Solo was accustomed to him, but the new experience released him from the firm grip of what he had told her 3 years ago: grimness…and he enjoyed it.
He soon found out that he would do anything to keep her safe and with him, even staying in the Known Regions when a report needed to be made. His colleague, more so friend, had pointed this out to him. Shawnkyr had noticed the change, as well as his unwillingness to head back home. She had simply stated the truth: that he was afraid of something happening to Jaina while he was gone while he was gone, and he would have no control in what would happen. Feeling completely helpless wasn’t his strong suit, and with that feeling came others—anger…sadness…fear… He was driven to these only years ago when facing the death of his brother, then his sister. He wouldn’t let that happen again.
But there was a deal he had made with Shawnkyr, a promise that couldn’t be broken or forgotten. In the event of her death, he would have to immediately report back to the Chiss, leaving Jaina behind. The thought lingered in the far reaches of his mind each and every time Shawnkyr entered a battle or a message was sent from her squadron. Yes, he would mourn her death greatly and would honor her request, but lately a question would relay in his mind. Would he leave Jaina? He had made a promise to her too. The decision was difficult and after a long thought process, he would. It was simple, yet so complicated. He had promised Shawnkyr first and Jaina second. The obvious answer would be to go to what is first, the only logical answer.
Sighing and shaking away his thoughts, Jag Fel eased himself off his bed, ruffling the dark covers. Running his hand through his jet-black hair, he realized he needed a shower as the short bristles clumped together, a spiteful effect of helmet hair. Clad in only his black fighter pants, he walked to the ‘fresher’s door, arising a cold chill to his bare chest as he stepped into the cold white room. Glancing at the chrono on the far wall, his eyes fell in self-defeat. A groan escaped from him as he quickly undressed and turned on the hydro-knobs.
He was going to be late for a dinner Jaina had secretly set up to get them alone. Stepping into the ice cold shower, he winced, not for the chilliness, but for the wrath of Jaina Solo when he didn’t show up on time.

oh cool, you posted! i got about 3 paragraphs written for that one scene  but i'll try to work on that some more (if you want, that is) after i get my big english project out of the way...

Trickster - oh cool, you posted! Yeppers! I thought I would, just to see what the reaction would be to the first bit. Motivation starts! And yeah, I got the first piece that you wrote, still up in my room to be revised, but so far so good! I'll get back to you in more detail soon. As for the english project, good luck! Just got done with one..Scarlet Letter and Ethan Frome.. :P

I had to find this on my own and I did a good job of it Thank you very much! Why didn't you tell me you were posting a fic? Oh well, I love it whether you announced it to me before I read it or not. You go so deeply into Jag's feelings and I definately think you should continue this story. It looks (sounds/seems/is) really good so far! And Jag and Jaina are having a secret date; that's so cute!
