Not bad, val.  He reminds me a little of another guy I think would make a good Kyp. His name is Galen Gehring, and he plays Luis on Passions. Very nice body on that one!

Do an image search for Galen and tell me he doesn't look angular! He's even got the angry eyes which I think Keanu lacks. Nothing on his ability as an actor, but I think Keanu would have to work at being as intense as Kyp. Galen just gets it right off, with those smoldering eyes of his.
Maybe I just haven't been that impressed with Keanu. I dunno.

If all the days guys weren't too blonde or didn't breathe through their nose all the time then maybe I'd consider one of them.
I still say Keanu can't cut it. His roles haven't been the right kind to prove to me that he's Kyp. He's in a lot of very dark movies doing lots of cool stuff, but he doesn't have that flirtatious edge to him. Kyp's gotta be able to be the bad guy but also charm the ladies. Keanu's emotions are very flat in that respect.
Now Johnny Depp on the other hand. . .

Hey I liked The Replacements and he charms a lady in that.
Alas the only other one I could see playing Kyp just looks too young and that is Orlando Bloom.

The man can act and he is pretty good with the looks, he is angular and he can play innocent also which Kyp does every once in a long while. But he is too young.

He's a little too thin for me. They both are. Dark Tide described Kyp as solid, no longer the little shrimp he once was. Maybe Orlando Bloom could play a good young Kyp.

What doesn't make sense about skinny kids getting a little more meat on their bones as they get older? It makes a lot more sense than Kyp getting green eyes a la Cunningham.

As much as I love Orlando...he just couldn't be Kyp...though some crazy Jag fans think he could be Jag. *gag*
Johnny Depp...I can see that. No Keneu (I can't ever spell his name)...I agree with Narundi, he doesn't have the depth of intensity.
LOL! About the Elaine Cunningham thing! That bothered me so much when I read it! I stared at the page for like five minutes thinking "What is this, my Kyp has brown eyes, you idiot writer!" But I suppose it's all good...
