	I just couldn't resist in he least! I just had to write it!... It's over a page, sorry. This takes place a few minutes after Fixing Things. Yay! Hope ya like- I most certainly do!! ~--~ I still do not have a good reason for writing in this journal. Oh, of course, I could most likely come up with one of many reasons out of nowhere- perhaps it’s just that I'm afraid to. Jagged Fel, afraid? The same Jagged Fel who took command of a squadron earlier than conceivably possible and climbed the ranks faster than a Jedi in a turbolift? The stone-faced Jagged who let almost no one see his grief at the death of his siblings and acted like a durasteel statue? Unfortunately, that is not the same Jagged Fel who is writing in a journal- an activity most often reserved for teenage girls with a fashion predicament- at 0147 in the morning. That Jagged Fel jumped out of the window and took off like an A-wing on steroids when he met Jaina Solo. (Not to mention, he evidently observed a marked increase in the use of similes and metaphors in his journal writing as well. I suppose that is another of Jaina’s effects on me, welcome or unwelcome.) After finishing the fateful midnight work on my clawcraft, I was understandably glad that I had good reason to head to the ‘fresher. Not only did I have an alibi- the grime and residue of typical maintenance work- I was in dire need of a cold shower. Not that it helped much. I assume that a sixteen-month TDY assignment to Csillia with no insulated clothing in the middle of a monstrous blizzard would hardly cool my body- or my nerves- down either. Will anything but Jaina help alleviate the problem? Granted, she’d most likely only serve to aggravate it. It’s one thing to enjoy someone else’s company- okay, I stand corrected, crave for it- but once I start, I believe that it would turn into longing for someone every waking moment, wanting to be the one she wakes up to for the rest of eternity times eleven… I can hear my little brother’s laughter echoing in the background already. Then again, he’d hardly be laughing. He’d more possibly be rolling on the ground, gasping for breath. I can see it clearly- Jag! I never thought I’d see the day that one random woman would turn you to a puddle of spilled Whyren’s and render you a babbling poet!* -at which point I would most likely have to have my charric locked away in another star system to prevent myself from either stunning him or stuffing it in an uncomfortable place for him, because Jaina is hardly a random woman. If I saw any other person who could hold a candle to her, I’d presume that it was either a hallucination, a hologram, or some long-dead Jedi spirit that haunts longing bachelors. In any case, I’d ignore it as well. In the meantime, I’ll stop writing and stay out of the way of Jaina-centric thoughts; otherwise, a long-standing mental image of her would recur as it has been doing for the past days, especially now. I can imagine many disadvantages to writing this journal- the danger of it being found, in which case I’d most likely have to hide my face for the rest of my life, or the danger of it being found by Han Solo. Which would be implausibly worse. But if it meant Jaina Solo would come out of her shell, I’d have all of them happen to me without a second thought. ~--~ End note: TDY is military-speak for temporary duty. 	SOL: I loved it! That was awesome! BTW - I got the TDY bit, being an Army brat myself... Unfortunately, that is not the same Jagged Fel who is writing in a journal- an activity most often reserved for teenage girls with a fashion predicament- at 0147 in the morning. That Jagged Fel jumped out of the window and took off like an A-wing on steroids when he met Jaina Solo. That was too funny. What a great description! I was in dire need of a cold shower.
