He's a creative writing/French major who writes poetry and plays the guitar....AND to put the icing on the cake...He's a SW fan too!! I can't wait till tonight! 	Okay...here's my shot at Jag's thoughts...t'won't be nearly as good as Commander's though.... Takes place right after Lady in Red Jag: Audio Journal Entry #4802 sound of mattress springs squeaking How do I get myself into these things? I came here strictly on a mission for the Chiss, not to play love tag with Jaina Solo! Figures the fair-haired fool I am would manage to screw this up. Thrawn, I'm such an idiot! I guess I'd better explain what happened before I do anymore self bashing. Tonight was the Hapan diplomatic reception. I was invited mainly because I'm the heir to a baronial title. No, forget that I'm an exceptional pilot. Forget that I'm an unofficial liason to the Chiss. I'm the son of a Corellian baron, that's all that matters. Can I just mention again how much I hate politics? Anyway, I'm at the ball. And as much as I hate to admit it, I only went to see Jaina. (pause) I had no idea it was possible for me to be attracted to someone this much. I mean, I've liked women before, but nothing like this. Never. I saw her in that dress tonight and I was gone. Wait, I fell for her even before I saw her in the dress. She just looks good in anything she wears. And what do I do? I make a complete fool out of myself, for what it's worth. Ugh. sound of palm hitting head I'll bet she really enjoyed seeing me lose it. I knocked over a plant of all things! And when she tried to help me, what did I do? I stared at the view the front of her dress was giving me.... Why did she have to wear that dress?! Sweet mother of Thrawn, I'm done for. At least I've learned that it's not a good idea for me to be alone with Jaina. Jaina. Hmmm...I like the way that sounds. Jaina. Jaina. Jay-NA. JAY-na. Jai- Wait a minute. (long pause) rubber sole hits floor I am not doing this. rubber sole hits floor again I. button unsnaps AM. button unsnaps NOT. button unsnaps DOING. button unsnaps THIS! button unsnaps jacket hits floor Gods, I need to stop thinking. It's really not good for my overall performance. Like not thinking is going to help any. Come on, Jag, did you really expect to not fall for her? You knew this was going to happen after Ithor. (pause) Sweet Force, I've resorted to having conversations with myself. Great. clothes rustling water running (from shower) I really don't know why I'm letting her get to me like this. It's not like she's any different from any other woman I've met. (sigh) Except she's perfect. water stops Maybe I can just avoid her for the next few days... No. Weeks. Scratch that. YEARS. Like that'll actually happen. 	Just discovered this thread! (I haven't visited the Cantina lately... hits self Bad Spike, Bad Spike!) All of the posts/letters have been wonderful so far. It's amazing to see the variety in tones and styles, and yet all more or less stay true to the characters and depict them accurately. Some are humorous (like JMJ's hehehe), others reflective, and some are downright heartbreaking! Congratulations to all who have participated thus far! All right, must go watch Indiana Jones. Ciao!!!
