	This is just to hold you over until tonight.I'll have a longer post with Tahiri and Zekk then. ------------------------ Chapter 28:Midnight Snack Lowie and Ben walked to Zekk's mansion quietly so as not to disturb anybody.Lowie had a hard time doing so on account of all the hover-coaster rides Ben had taken him on had made him dizzy and naucious.Lowie was suprised Ben wasn't sick from riding the same rides again and again and again.Lowie had vomited five times before he finally regains some his coordination.They tiptoed over to the kitchen and past the droids that were now shut off for the rest of the night.Lowie needed something to drink to help his head loosen up while Ben just wanted to pig out on all the gourmet food that Zekk's cooking droids had to offer.Ben searched through the refridgerators for a snack. "Nope...Not that..No..hey,look what I found."Ben held up a bag of what appeared to be a bag of Gungan Sweet Gooballs.He ripped open the bag and munched on the fruit flavored snacks made out of a strange goo.Lowie drank his glass of water that he had gotten quickly.They sat there silently and raided through snack cupboards for food until they heard an unexpected sound of somesort.It appeared to be the sound of two people arguing.They couldn't recognize the voices on account of they were downstairs. "I'm tired of your excuses,I'm going to bed!!"one voice said. "Fine!!"the other said.Followed by the first one repeating,"Fine!!!" "Who was that?"asked Ben. 	Chapter 29:The Veila Tahiri walked into the garden above Zekk's home.He hadn't been in his room so the only place she thought he would be in was his most prized possession.She clenched her bed-robe.Under it was a nightgown made of thin cloth.Tahiri had put on the robe to keep herself warm outside her room. "Zekk?"she called softly.No answer."Zekk?"She made her way through the magnificent trees and flowers neatly sorted together into groups apart from eachother.She heard soft murmurs coming from behind one of the tree groups.Tahiri stepped through as quietly as possible.Her bare feet seemed to crunch on the ground louder when she tryed to sneak up to someone.She spotted Zekk,now dressed in a simple t-shirt and cargo pants,circling around the srtange yellow rose that he had created.He didn't seem to be bothered by her presence,even though he knew she was there. "What to call you,so many choices,"he continously said. "So..couldn't sleep?"Tahiri said. "No,"Zekk replied turning over to where Tahiri was standing. "I'd think so,after after your little 'conversation' with Jaina." "Oh,you heard that." "I think everybody did.After all,you were pretty loud." "Yeah,but I have a reason too,"Zekk said with anger in his voice."I thought we were friends,but now I know she just felt sorry for me." "What's make you think that?"Tahiri asked. "I don't know,it's just ever since I had this dream where I just go...nevermind it's not important.But tell me,when I was away did she ever say,'You think Zekk will be back?' or 'Remember when Zekk..'"Tahiri felt nervous about answering that question.She knew that if she told the truth,Zekk would be even angrier at Jaina. "..No,"she said."She never said anything."Zekk wiped his hand over his face to hide his tears.He looked back over to Tahiri and straight into her green,jewel-like,eyes.He gently held her hands and smiled.Tahiri smiled back and ran one her hands through his long,dark,black hair.He closed his eyes and breathed in deeply. "You know,your touch makes everything feel better,"he whispered.Tahiri closed her eyes and kissed Zekk's lips.Zekk returned her affection for a moment.He pulled her away opened his eyes. "I think I found a name for my masterpiece,"he said,pointing to his flower. "Oh yeah,what's that?"Tahiri asked him. "I think I'll call it a 'Veila,'"He told her.Her face blushed red as he pulled her body closer to his in the full-moon's light. -----signature----- 4 DA SHORTEEZ!! I WANT CANDY!! 	Chapter 30:Dreamland The aroma of fire and sinew filled Zekk's nostrils as his tongue slowly rolled across the blood on his fingertips.His lightsaber was the only other color besides red in the room he stood in.On the floor lay two bodies,soaked in blood and ash.Zekk smiled and picked up the woman in front of him by her hair.Faint signs of life filled her body as he put the lightsaber under her neck. "Now,what was it you said to me earlier?Oh yeah,'You're still jealous,'"he said."Hmph,yeah right."Zekk,as fast as he could,slid the lightsaber across her throat. Zekk's eyes shot open.His suroundings were now that of his greenhouse.He sighed in relief to see that he was not still in that horrid dream.He had been having that dream for months.Was it the future?He looked down beside himself and saw Tahiri asleep on his lap.He guessed they that they just decided to sit down on the bench and fell asleep.But his mind was still rattling at what this dream was trying to tell him.Was he going to turn again?Was he going to kill someone? Jacen looked at the letter for what seemed like hours.Why didn't Tenel Ka tell him about this earlier and more importantly,who wrote it?He lifted his head up and saw Tenel Ka with her head turned the other way.She felt terrible for not telling Jacen before they left Hapes. "Tenel Ka.."he stammered."Are there any more letters like this?"She nodded,keeping a straight face.Jacen gulped.The last thing he wanted was his wife to get hurt by some crazed nut. "How many have been sent to you?" he asked.Tenel Ka paused and tilted her head down. "I'd say about 100,maybe 105,"she answered,as if she was not bothered by it. "What do they say?" "Things...things that I prefer not to say." "I think it's best that we head on back to Zekk's house." "And just hide?"Tenel Ka's voice rose."I would rather go find this man and slit his throat." "How do you it's a man?"Jacen asked. "Because of what the letters say,"she grumbled.Jacen realized that the guy who was sending the messages was not only a nut,but also a pervert."And I'm not going to let some sick,sex crazed,murderous,ape get away with stalking a member of the royal family!"She stood up off the bench and on the grass of the area around them.Jacen stood up as well. "Tenel Ka,you know you can't go after this guy in your condition." "Condition?You mean this child?Phah,if anything the excercise will help her." "Tenel Ka,please let's go back to Cloud City.We can rest there and start searching in the morning." "Grrr..fine,if it will make you feel better.Just remember,I call the shots when we're looking for him." 	Chapter 31:The Mind and the Matter Jaina paced around she and Jag's guest room with a snarling look on her face.Jag was asleep on the bed after she had come back from her talk with Zekk.Something had changed about her old friend.Jaina could feel it in the Force.It was like his mind had gone through some sort of phase.He seemed more emotional,angry,and frustrated.She almost felt that he wasn't the Zekk she knew.Jaina sat in the nearest chair.She closed her eyes and tried to meditate.Perhaps that could help calm her down.As she stared at the back of her eyelids Jaina suddenly saw images of her and Zekk on Coruscant.Images of them running through the crowded streets and getting into trouble and them just plain sitting down and staring the sky like they used to do.But then she saw Zekk in a form that most disgusted her and filled her with fear.Flames and blood everywhere around him.His eyes filled with the color yellow and no longer green.His hair both the colors black and white.Jaina's forehead began to sweat as Zekk walked closer to her with a blue lightsaber in his hand.She opened her eyes so that she could longer see such horror.What had she seen?Was that just something in her head or was it..a vision? -----signature----- 4 DA SHORTEEZ!! 	Chapter 32:The Mind and the Mindtaker Zekk went over to the small bucket of water on the ground and poured some of the water on his face.The reflection in the water seemed to mock him.He saw it's mouth smile at him with a vile sneer.Wait a minute!How did the reflection smile when Zekk didn't even move his mouth!He jumped away from the bucket and landed flat on his bottom.His pupils began to dialate as his sweat like crazy.Muscle spasms went through his body.His body became heavier as he crawled on the ground towards the bucket.Zekk stared back into the reflection and saw the color of his eyes had changed.They were a yellowish-red.His hair had white stripes in it too.A cackle in his head grew louder,louder,and louder like someone beating a gong.He started to feel like the blood was being drained out of him,making his body run cold.Zekk's breath became heavier.His lungs seemed more like huge rocks in his chest.The young Jedi wondered why this was happening now. "NO!This shouldn't be happening.The syrum was supposed to take care of you?"he whispered."Bah!No syrum can take me out that easily.Why won't you ever leave me alone?!Why should I?I..uh.It's my body too.No it's not!Yes it is,it became my body as well when you started Experiment 01.You were a failure,the Veila is an advancement in the Galaxy Restoration Program.How was I supposed to be a benefit to the program,you twit!You were supposed to be a steroid for dead plant lifeforms.Then why did you put me into you!I had test you!Test me on yourself?you moron!Shut up,your only what you are because of the R.E.L.O.R. cells that helped give you intelligence!Maybe so,but I'm not going to let you get away with trying to take me down this time." -----signature----- 4 DA SHORTEEZ!!
