	Just giving this an up. And I am already working on another chapter...but sadly i will be gone during the weekend... Maybe i'll get another post up, maybe i won't. 	ewww Jaina's was all stinky and sweaty in that meeting This post was a plot mover and it was good. I Like how Jaina's coming around to Zekk. I just hope Zekk's padawan doesn't harbor a crush on him, cause that could be dangerous if jaina finally comes around. Good post and why wouldn't I be reading your story. I actually read more stories than i write (only write 2, so that not too much). I just don't reply alot because i'm busy with work or other things. And you like that huh? And here i was thinking it was bad. lol I'm trying to make it go by a little at a time so she just doesn't throw herself at him unrealisticly(sp.?) and shout, "I'm yours!" A crush on him...didn't see that possibility...thanks for bringing it up. And remember, she isn't officialy his padawan just yet, though she might become it. and why wouldn't I be reading your story. 	And now, just because i came back from Clear Lake safely and just because I love you all, i'm going to post Chapter 4 of Prodding the Hurricane now. Chapter 4: Jaina watched Zekk and placed a hand softly on his shoulder, “You’ll do fine and you will come back alive, you all will. I should get over to the Twin Suns, we’re doing a patrol practice with some potential recruits.” She hugged Zekk and then jogged away with him looking after her, watching her hair fly behind her as she jogged on. The way the sun shone on her and the way her body moved, but he was jarred back to reality when a hand clamped down on his shoulder and a voice whispered coldly into his ear, “You can get the girl later, now it’s time to prepare for tomorrow’s mission.” Zekk looked back at Damon, who grinned. “Did I scare you? I’ve been trying to perfect that voice.” Zekk shook his head, “Well it worked, I admit it.” “So I noticed,” Damon said smugly as he started walking toward the temple with Zekk following suit. Zekk heard the birds and creatures that stalked Yavin Four and felt at peace, using the force to meditate and remain focused on his surroundings as he continued walking with Damon. His friend seemed oblivious to these things and kept his eyes straight on the temple. “How do you think the mission will go?” Damon asked abruptly. Zekk shrugged, “Don’t know. I think it should go fine.” “I think so too, seems like easy work. Wondering about your potential padawan?” “Kind of, but mostly on my teaching skills. I have no idea how I’m going to teach.” “I’m wondering the same thing, should be funny. As you teach the little girl, I’ll go off and save the world, got it?” Zekk laughed, “Sure Damon, but you’ll have to get past Mara, she’ll want a share of the fight.” “Don’t need help,” Damon said with a grin. “Uh huh, sure you don’t, but like I said you’ll need to beat Mara to it.” “I will, I could take her if I had to.” “You’re not supposed to fight your allies,” Zekk laughed. “I was kidding you dolt,” Damon replied. “I know you were, but it does bring about the image of you getting whooped by Mara.” “I wouldn’t lose, I’d beat her.” “I’d love to see you try.” “Maybe I’ll ask her to spar with me some time,” Damon said with a wink. “I’ll be in the stands ready to laugh when you fall on your face within two seconds then,” Zekk retorted. Damon gave a mock laugh then trotted off toward the training room as Zekk left to go somewhere else upon entering the temple. Wondering where Mara was, Damon stepped into the sparring room and looked to find no one there except Kyp Durron and Jacen Solo going head to head in a sparring match, Kyle Katarn and Corran Horn watching and making bets with Lando Calrissian who happened to be visiting. He left the room and continued over to Luke and Mara’s quarters and discovered she wasn’t there either. Reaching out with the force he finally tracked Master Jade Skywalker at someone else’s room, it felt like the lorrdian girl’s presence. Knocking on the door as he finally reached the room he grinned as he found himself suddenly staring into the emerald green eyes of the female jedi master. “Hello Master Jade Skywalker,” he said calmly. Mara raised an eyebrow and folded her arms, “What is it Damon?” Zev lay on the ground panting heavily as the ewok stood on the bed looking down on him, laughing. “Look on face. Funny. Too easy,” Jari chuckled. “Yeah, well you almost killed me!” Zev said angrily as he stood up, shaking his fist. Jari jumped off the bed and shrugged, his grin ever present. Zev pointed to the white fur on his face that made a crescent moon shape around his left eye. “I’m going to make that into a real scar if you aren’t careful!” “Sure you will.” Zev shook his head and muttered as he marched out of the room, Jari following him. “Where we going?” Jari asked. “To find Allya, my little friend,” muttered a still recovering Zev. “Ok Iris, now you watch how I beat this arrogant guy into a pulp ok? Watch closely now,” Mara told the sixteen year old lorrdian girl who sat in a chair in the training room waiting for the match between Mara and Damon. Iris nodded her head, her short black hair going into her face as she did so. Mara Jade Skywalker turned back to Damon, brushing her red hair out of her face and ignited her purple lightsaber. “Ready to be humiliated Te’ju?” she asked calmly. “It’ll be you who gets humiliated,” Damon responded confidently as he calmly grasped his own saber and ignited it’s brown blade. Mara grinned and then spun around and groaned as bets were suddenly shouted out as Lando Calrissian and Corran Horn joined Iris in watching along with Talon Karrde. “What are you guys doing here?” Mara asked irritated. “Betting what else?” Talon smirked. Mara shook her head and focused her attention back to Damon, who grinned slightly and then pushed a button on the wall that initiated a simulation of the planet Hoth. “What the devil is this?” Mara demanded. “For more fun,” Damon shrugged. Mara laughed, “Doesn’t matter, I’ll beat you anyway, you’ll regret turning on the Hoth environment.” Zekk finished talking with Luke and doing a quick errand for Leia and walked with Allya toward the hangar. “Now you understand what’s going right Allya?” he asked calmly, trying to hide his nerves. Allya nodded smiling, “Yes, I do Master Zekk. We are to go to Mrlsst and stop some terrorist attacks on their universities from a group of Selonians. Peaceful being the preference of course.” Zekk nodded, “That is right, good job Allya.” “Not hard to remember Master Zekk,” Allya said. “I agree, it isn’t.” They walked along and Zekk’s green eyes focused on the forms of Jari, the ewok jedi, and the golden amber eyed boy, Zev Dorgan. “Been looking for you Allya. Hello Master Zekk,” Zev said. “Hello yourself Zev. Hello Jari, how’s the basic coming along?” “Good Master Zekk,” Jari replied beaming. “What’s wrong with you?” Allya asked with concern on her face as she looked at Zev. “Oh Jari here, decided it would be funny to put a hologram of an Vong warrior attacking on his bed when I came in.” “When you sprang in,” Zekk corrected. “Er...” Zev grinned sheepishly. Zekk, Allya, and Jari all laughed. Zev ran a hand through his hair and shrugged embarrassed as Jari ran off as he spied some native food of his going by on a tray. “So where are you two going?” Zev asked again. “On a mission to Mrlsst,” grinned Allya. Zev groaned and looked at Zekk, “Why does she get a mission first?” Zekk laughed, “Ever heard the phrase, ‘ladies first?’” Zev rolled his eyes as Allya smirked. Jari came back munching on some native Endor food grinning. “You go mission?” he asked inquiringly of Allya, who nodded. “You all will soon, Master Skywalker is trying to find the best couples for Master and Padawan.” “So, Allya is your apprentice?” Zev said, his jaw dropping at the idea of Allya getting a master first. “No, but she could be. This mission will see if we’re good together as a working duo.” “Wise,” Jari put in. “Yes, very,” agreed Zekk. ____________________________________________________________________________ And there you go. And I'm going to have to agree with everyone on loving Jari...he's just too cute! lol There's another one to add to Jari's fandom. Although Damon looks to be a handful... smirks Damon is one of my favorite characters... Keep it up, I wants more! Let me work on the chapters and i'll post them. And two of my songfics, including It Must Be Love, has been NOMINATED! Grins and laughs like a madman I'm a very very happy man, whoever nominated my two songfics i am deeply deeply grateful, especially since this is the first time i've ever been nominated and to see i've been nominated twice...wow.
