	yay a new chapter! “There’s nothing else you could have done Allya,” Zekk told her. Allya nodded in response, but didn’t say anything. “If you hadn’t killed them, they would have killed you.” “I still killed him!” Allya said, her shout somewhat muffled by the emotion coming from her. Zekk shifted on his feet and moved to her, embracing her. He didn’t know what else to do. “It’s ok Allya, it really is. You did the right thing.” “But it was so horrible!” Allya sobbed, her face in Zekk’s shoulder. “No one said a Jedi’s life was easy Allya,” Zekk said softly and apologetically. “I know,” Allya whimpered. Oh... poor Allya. Can't you mind trick her to feel better or something. Unbeknownst to them though, a pair of eyes sat watching the two of them from behind a bush. How perfect, the person mused in their head, they’ll be caught completely off guard... Uh-oh... not good. ****** My fav part: “See you around then Janson,” Jaina waved. “Yeah, see you aro...” Wes stopped suddenly as if hit and stared. “What is it?” Jaina asked as she followed his stare to Jari....wait, Jari? Uh oh... “I-Is that an ewok I’m seeing Jaina?” Wes asked amazed. “Why, yes, yes it is,” Jaina answered cautiously, with Jari watching Wes puzzled. “Wow...” Wes said as he began to walk toward the ewok. “What you want?” Jari asked suddenly, causing Wes nearly to have a heart attack and fall on his face. Wes stared at Jari in pure shock and seemingly, extreme glee, “H-He talks too!” “Yes,” Jari replied warily. Suddenly Wes dropped to his knees causing Jaina and Jari to jump startled, then watch confused as Wes held his arms out and looked skyward. “I love you!!!!” he cried out. Jaina put a hand on her forehead and shook her head as Jari blinked and watched Wes not knowing what was going on. Janson is so weird. My fav character: hhhmmm... I think you can guess that one. 	I read this yesterday, but I wasn't able to post. I feel so bad for Allya. It hurts that she knows they're actual people of who she's killing. I think it'd be easier if she didn't know. Poor kid. This Damon character is quite interesting I'd say. Some reason I keep picturing he'll betray. I don't know, it seems random, but that what keeps popping up in my mind. I'm sure. ___________________________________________________________________________ Chapter 9: The next day, the wind picked up as Iris stood on the top of the greenstalk looking into Governor Lassic’s office. She had been sent to watch and make sure Rail was doing his part in their plan to capture the creator of all the havoc. And there he was, Keyan Saretti, personal secretary to Rail Lassic. Rail and Keyan were talking to each other and now Keyan was sitting. Using the force, Iris H’Darr, gave the signal that he was there. Mara grinned as she felt the small tremor that was the signal. She took her lightsaber out and motioned to the soldiers to follow her across the streets to Mrlsst’s Main Hall. Pedestrians stared as they went by, weapons at the ready. They pushed through the front doors and Mara told the mrlssi troops, “Ok guys. It’s show time, don’t let this man get away with what he’s done. Black Group to the left stairs, White Group to the right. Remember I’ll be with Black. Damon?” Damon who was there nodded, “Right here. You heard her guys, Mara and Black Group to the left and Captain Pepe and White Group to the right, I’ll stay with Gray Group right here in the lobby for defense.” Mara, Arod, and their respective squads followed them the direction they were designated, both heading for level ten, Governor Lassic’s office. Zekk walked with Allya and behind Jas, the selonian attacker. The two jedi walked impassively toward the Main Hall ten minutes after Mara and Damon left with mrlssi. They were going to use Jas to prove they knew what Keyan was up to. As Jas had explained, Keyan had an extreme dislike of the governor and would go to any lengths to show he was an incapable leader. So, what he did was hire a selonian bounty hunter squad and sent them wrecking up the planet. Clearly showing Rail and Arod couldn’t handle the problems. Then he would have had Jas eliminate Rail and Keyan would emerge and say Rail’s last words were to allow him become governor. Zekk chuckled to himself, just another power hungry individual. Guess there’s always one of them around. Mara ran up the steps, charging past people, with the mrlssi behind her. She was grinning and feeling the adrenaline rush. She hadn’t been on a mission for quite a while and this one was turning out to be quite a fun one. Mara turned a corner and gazed at the numbers on the doors, level eight, almost there. Using the force she sensed Keyan still chatting with Rail unsuspecting, the mrlssi was a good actor, had to give him credit. She also sensed Iris jogging up the steps to the emergency exit door to Rail’s office with three troops, so all exits were guarded. On level nine now and the focus was mounting as well as the adrenaline coursing through the woman’s veins. Listening to the pounding of her feet, Mara ignored all outside things except where Keyan’s presence was and that was still in the governor’s office. Siala froze and screamed the moment the creature came springing out and her eyes nearly bugged out the moment the reptilian like thing flashed on a green lightsaber. The blade flung at her legs and she jumped over it and rolled backwards, igniting her own blue saber. “Who are you!” she cried. “Your defeat,” hissed Caine, who began to circle the firrerreo. Standing up, Siala also began to circle her opponent who was smirking at her. Somehow, she had to find a way around this brute and beat him, he was obviously a Jedi too, but he was attacking her. Caine rushed her and struck downward at her, she raised her saber and blocked it, where she then swung her blade down and from the left to the right in a fluid motion that would have cut the barabel in half, if the blade was on higher power. Caine jumped backwards, then sprang forward again, spinning and twirling his saber at shoulder level of the girl. Siala crouched under the slash and used her legs to propel her forward at her foe’s feet, her blade out. The barabel danced out of the way, but not quick enough to avoid a small graze. Snarling, Caine lashed out with his foot, catching the girl in the arm and knocking her down hard. Siala’s hazel eyes widened and stared at the green blade that came flying down at her face only to be suddenly stopped by a yellow light. Another blade. She looked at who intervened with surprise. As Kyp and Jacen talked and laughed over the fright of Siala and then focused on the battle between her and Caine, they paused as the new combatant entered, giving the perfect opportunity for Jaina Solo to come springing out of the bush, purple saber humming and ready. Kyp and Jacen whirled around surprised and Jaina used the force to knock Kyp’s feet from under him and then engaged her brother in a fight as he had turned on his own blade. “So, you have decided to attack your own friends eh sis?” Jacen panted in between parries and slashes. “Oh, of course dear brother,” Jaina responded while taking a stab at Jacen’s arm, who moved out of the way. “Traitor,” said Kyp as he got up and turned on his lightsaber, the magenta shining beautifully against the rainy backdrop of Yavin Four. Jaina laughed and began to fight her friend and brother at the same time, but she was quickly overcome and kneeled tiredly. “Ok, ok. You win,” she wheezed. “Proof that guys are better than girls,” Jacen remarked. “You wish,” Jaina laughed. Kyp shook his head and looked toward the direction of the other battle. So did Jaina and Jacen. “I’m guessing that’s Jari taking on Caine right now?” Kyp said. “That’s right.” “Interesting fight, one worth betting,” a familiar voice said. They turned to see Lando standing and grinning. “Hey Lando,” greeted Jacen. “Hey Jacen. Your father wanted to me to find out where you three were. Playing I see.” Jacen and Jaina grinned at the man’s words. Kyp shrugged. “So how’s the fight going?” Lando asked casually. “Jari and Caine are fighting to a standoff right now and Siala is just about to help the ewok out.” “Sort of sounds like a beginning of a joke,” mused Lando. “What do you mean?” Jaina asked. Lando responded smiling, “What happens when you get a firrerreo, a ewok, and a barabel to fight all at once?” Jacen cocked his head at the friend of his dad, “What?” Lando shrugged, “Beats me. We’re going to find out now.” Mara hung outside the office door with Black Group as Captain Arod Pepe and White Group went into the first room of the office. The office was two adjoining rooms, first the waiting room where the secretary’s desk is and then the actual office. Once Mara sensed Iris in place by the emergency exit and Zekk, Allya, and Jas enter the building, she gave a thumbs up to Arod, who proceeded to knock on the office door. “Quite...well, I wonder who that could be,” mused Rail in his acting. Now was the time to capture Keyan, he couldn’t believe it was his friend after all these years. He swung open the door and jumped back as Captain Pepe walked into the room. “What a pleasant surprise, are the jedi hunting down the remaining terrorists?” Keyan asked politely. Arod gave a stern look in response and said, “Keyan, all the selonians were killed or captured.” Keyan looked stricken for a moment then smiled, but before he could get a word off, Rail intervened. “We know that you employed them Keyan.” “What!” Keyan shouted. “Yes, game is up. You are under arrest for treason against Mrlsst Mr. Saretti,” informed Arod. Keyan gaped then stood up outraged and panicking, “You can’t take me like this! Do you really believe I wanted to do damage against my own planet!” “Sure seems like that Keyan,” Rail said. Keyan scoffed, “Well it doesn’t matter anyway, who would give you such information.” “Does the name Jas ring any bells?” Governor Lassic asked calmly. Keyan cursed loudly and pointed at Rail menacingly. “Well I was doing it to show how much of an imbecile you really are Rail!” spat Keyan, “You don’t know how to do your job! You couldn’t handle the situation like I had figured you wouldn’t and the logics you’ve been implying to our great planet? Gods! They make no sense! Elevators that go up all the way, but go down only from level 6? What is that!?” “He speaks the truth, but he went about it the wrong way,” mused Mara quietly to herself. “I’m sorry Keyan, but it cannot be helped. You are under arrest and Rail did handle it if you account that it was him that thought of getting the Jedi over here,” Arod said carefully, trying to hold down his flaring anger. Keyan cursed again and ran for the emergency exit and opened it to find himself staring into the light violet eyes of a young black-haired human girl. And she had a lightsaber on. “Actually I’m a lorrdian for your information,” Iris said while reading his thoughts, “and yes this saber can do damage. I advise you to back up now, I’m also escorted by three more soldiers.” Keyan stared at her and she giggled. “I’m not kidding, I can tell by your body posture that you don’t believe me,” the soldiers all of a sudden came into view behind her, “but as you can see, I’m not kidding. Back up now Mr. Saretti.” Keyan fought out of Arod’s grip, who had come from behind, stole his blaster and ran toward Rail, who blinked confused. That wasn’t suppose to happen. Keyan grinned like a mad man as he grabbed Rail and held him as a living shield and exited the office and into the other room where White Group aimed at him, but couldn’t get a shot in. He got to the other side of the room in no time and laughed as he pushed Rail toward the soldiers and turned to flee. He opened the door and moved to go out when suddenly a beam of purple light appeared in front of his face. He gulped and looked to his left where he saw a grinning red-haired, emerald-eyed human woman holding the lightsaber. “Hello,” smirked Mara, “I believe we’ve met before.” “Yes, we have,” sighed Keyan as he felt handcuffs being put on. Mara switched off her lightsaber with a snap-hiss sound and waved Zekk, Allya, and Jas over when they appeared. The two jedi and selonian prisoner looked at the mrlssi traitor, who looked back, torn between anger and despair. “I’m sorry Keyan,” muttered Jas. “So am I,” replied Keyan, who then nodded and was led away. “I guess you weren’t needed after all,” Allya told Jas, who just stood there impassively. 	Cool, you met my deadline. The Ewok lives another day! Once again your action scenes are top notch. Very believable and visible. Some writers confuse you when they are writing an action scene, but yours don't.
