Well everybody I just finished part five. It is kind of short, but oh so important. I really love all the interest I have in this story and I hope that interest continues. Please let me know what you think.
Also, I have a dark Jedi that is going to appear in the next post or two and I am needing a name for him. I have one I have been using for writing purposes, but I am not happy with it. It seems so lame. This villan thinks he is going to show the universe the true nature of the Force, but doesn't count on Luke and Lyra being so strong when they combine there Force talents.
If you have any suggestions for a name for this dark Jedi, I would certainly consider them. Until I come up with a really good name for this guy, I am sorta of stuck, so let the name suggestions fly. Pleeeeeeeese.
Now here is part five.

Part Five:
As she opened her mind to him, Luke experienced from her point of view how his touch felt to her. To her his touch was gentle and soothing, making her feel protected and cared for. He also felt the fiery awareness that rippled through her body every time he traced the scratches with his fingertips. He also felt what she sought to hide from even herself, her desire for him to touch her even more intimately.
“Why are you afraid of these thoughts?” he asked softly.
She waited so long to answer, that he thought she was never going to, but finally she spoke.
“I should not be having these feelings for my Master,” she replied.
“Why not?” he asked. “We have spent the past three years getting to know each other better than anyone else knows us. You and I know things about each other that neither of us would want anyone else in the galaxy to know. We have lived together, fought together, laughed together, cried together, and saved each other countless times.”
As he spoke, he let his own feelings flow over her. He let her see how having her in his life gave him the strength and courage he needed to carry on during the most disheartening times. He let her see the loneliness he would feel whenever they were separated for more than a day or two. He let her see the overwhelming love he would feel whenever they were reunited once more.
“I love you Lyra, more than I ever thought it possible to love another person. You have become a necessary part of my life and I hope you will agree to be in my life for a very long time to come,” he told her.

I couldn’t believe my ears. What he was saying was almost too good to be true. I desperately wanted to be hearing him correctly, but I was afraid to hope.
“Why haven’t these feelings revealed themselves before? Why are they choosing now to manifest themselves?” I asked needing more proof that I wasn’t just imagining this whole conversation.
“Until now, the time hasn’t been right. It is not our place to question why, it is our place to take advantage of the opportunities placed before us and make the best of them. I love you Lyra and that is the only why I need,” he replied
“I love you too.” I whispered tears streaming down my face. When he kissed me, his kiss was warm and gentle yet firm and full of promises and I knew in that moment that I definitely was not hallucinating. All of my doubts vanished away and were replaced by a love so deep and pure it was overwhelming.
After several heart stopping soul searing moments, he released me from the kiss. My heart was full to overflowing with emotions and I let them flow out to him through our newly opened, greatly strengthened Force bond.
We sat for several more minutes, our eyes and minds locked in total accord. Then, he broke the silence. “I’d better go,” he said and I could sense it was taking every ounce of control he could muster to get up and leave that room with nothing more than a kiss passing between us. As the door closed behind him, I was relieved, but also a little disappointed. If he had asked for more in those moments, I would have gladly given myself to him, yet I knew that it was not yet time to take our relationship to that level. We would both know when that time came.

Well guys, I finally came up with a name for my bad guy and I have finished the next post. I'll give you the next post in just a minute, but first I want to do individual responses which I didn't have time to do earlier. Here we go.

Jedi_Master_Mouf: Thanks for the birthday wishes. I couldn't come up with a name on my own, so I did an internet search for exotic names and found the one I used.

Laura_Anu: Thanks for the birthday wishes. I don't like waiting a long time for the characters in a romance to get together, so I try not to make my readers wait too long. At least I hope I don't make them wait too long. Um, do I make you wait to long?

Part Six:
I spent the remaining six hours of our trip in my cabin, fading in and out of a light healing trance. I was finding it very difficult to concentrate. My mind kept wondering back to the complete sharing of thoughts and emotions I had so recently experienced with Luke. I never would have imagined that Luke would have the same feelings that I had.
I had been hiding my feelings from him for a long time, but until he had confronted me about having my shields up, I hadn’t realized how tightly I had closed myself up. Always before I had been able to hide my feelings without having to shield my bond with Luke. However, when the Katerines attacked, it was shield or reveal everything.
Having Luke love me as deeply as I loved him, was a joy beyond compare and I would never take him or our love for granted. I would be his completely for as long as he wanted me.

When we reached Corascant, we took the information we had gathered straight to New Republic Intelligence. After our debrief, we met with Luke’s sister Leia Organa Solo.
Leia quickly cleared everyone else out of her office when we arrived. “I trust your mission went well,” she said giving Luke a hug and giving me a nod of greeting.
“We retrieved the information we were sent for, but Lyra was injured during our escape,”
Luke answered.
“Injured?” she said looking at me in question.
“I have four Katerine claw marks down my back to prove it,” I answered and saw Leia wince.
“I’m sorry you were hurt,” she said. “Do you need medical attention?”
“We had an antitoxin with us, and I spent a lot of our trip back in a healing trance courtesy of your brother,” I told her giving Luke a pointed look. I was still a little miffed at him for forcing me into that trance, even if I did need it badly. I gave him a little smile to soften my reply then turned my attention back to Leia.
“I hate to ask you for help again so soon, but we received a disturbing transmission a couple of days ago,” Leia continued once our attention was focused back on her.
She moved back to her desk and pressed a button on her computer console. A deep, haunting voice filled the room sending chills down my spine.
“I have waited a long time to show the people of the universe the true ways of the Force. I merely await the appropriate opportunity to present itself. I am Brenneka, the blazing light of fire, beware of the truth I bring,” the voice intoned.
“We have been trying to trace the transmission since it came in, but so far we haven’t had any luck. I’m hoping we can at least pinpoint the system it came from. If we can, I would like for the two of you to see what you can uncover about this Brenneka,” Leia told us.
“We’ll look into it even if you can’t pinpoint the system it came from.” Luke told his sister. “In fact, I have some information sources I can contact and see what they can come up with.”
“I have some sources I can check with as well,” I told them. “Surely one of us has a contact that can find us a lead,” I finished and Luke and Leia nodded in agreement.
We spent another half hour discussing possibilities and then Luke and I left to contact our information resources. If there was any information out there to find about Brenneka, one of us would find it.

A few days later, one of Luke’s contacts relayed the information we were looking for, a point of origin for Brenneka. Brenneka had set himself up as a religious figurehead on a planet in the Coronio System. According to his followers, Brenneka’s mystical powers gave him the ability to see into a person’s very heart and know exactly what they were going to do even before they did. Luke and I suspected that this Brenneka was a Dark Jedi using his power to subvert the poor people of Coronio III.
We left for Coronio one week after returning to Corascant and we arrived on Coronio III a week after that. We dared not use the Force to disguise ourselves fearing that would reveal our presence to Brenneka. Instead we used holographic disguises. These disguises didn’t last for long periods of time, but were sufficient for what we needed them for.
We rented a room at a seedy boarding house and made it our base of operations. Being the considerate man that he was, Master Skywalker slept on the floor, allowing me the bed.
Our first night there, I went into the fresher and changed into a sleeping gown I had brought along, the clothes I wore as part of my disguise being too uncomfortable to sleep in. When I came out of the fresher, Master Skywalker had already settled himself on a pallet on the floor. He was sitting in meditation, so I moved quietly so as not to disturb him. I leaned over to turn down the bed coverings and heard a sharp intake of breath. I turned my head to find my Master staring at me. That’s when I realized how I must look through his eyes standing there in nothing but a short, silky, cling to your curves sleeping gown. Blushing slightly, I quickly crawled under the covers and lay down, unnerved by my own response to that blue gaze. Neither of us said a word, pretending it didn’t happen.
