	No fair Barefoot...I'm actually going to say something!! Okay...um...what was I gonna say? scratches forehead I know I had a thought in there somewhere.... Oh yeah...GREAT ONE MAGGY! I like how Kyp and D "make out" on top of the temple. I'm sorry, but it always makes me smile to see Jedi acting like real people. Kinda sucks though, she dumping him after only a year (probably less) apart. Poor Kyp, she didn't deserve you in the first place! 	I would have had first post, Barefoot, except that this site suddenly decided it hated me....again. Kyp had brought her to the top of the Massassi temple, his sacred place. He had blindfolded her and led her up there the long way round, so as she wouldn't realize where their destination was. When he reached the edge of the roof he took the silken scarf from her eyes. She gasped. Beyond them were ever green woods and a crystal clear river nearby. It looked so serene and beautiful. I love the description “Thank you,” he replied whilst quickly tearing the paper away and the young woman giggled at the sight of him. He looked like an overgrown child. Awwwww “I – I think I have fallen in love with you, Deirdre.” Kyp blurted out as though the words were dying to escape. The young woman gasped and another tear escaped her eyes. "I think, I think I love you too, Kyp.” So sweet, Mag. Kyp there is something I have to tell you. I have fallen in love again. He is so sweet and reminds me on you. He is so smart and handsome. I still love you and I am sorry that we didn’t work out between us. I hope that you can find it in your heart to forgive me, as well as let us still be friends. Someday you will find the happiness you deserve, and love another who deserves you more than I ever did. The kiss-off....poor Kyp. “How much I loathe that holiday. 	Dear Kyp, I hope you are well. Everything is so new and wonderful. My Master is so kind toward me and last month we settled down in a city. I miss you. Not only because it is Christmas. I miss our conversation. I miss our practice. I think only we aren’t’ together anymore doesn’t mean we can’t talk. I have wanted that for a long time now. Kyp there is something I have to tell you. 	Hello! So that is the last part of “Visiting Christmases of the Past” oOoOoOo Third Part The green eyed Jedi found himself standing along the wall of the great chamber of the temple on Yavin. The hall was decorated with bunches of mistletoe, candles, colored glass spheres and Christmas trees. The apprentices were all wearing their best robes for the celebration. Kyp scanned the room searching himself, he had been invited by Han on this particular occasion, but had felt like an outsider amongst the other people. After a few moments he found the younger version of himself standing near the opposite wall with a glass punch in his hand. Unsurprisingly, alone. The rogue Jedi watched for the second time as the most beautiful girl ... woman ... entered the audience chamber. It had taken him a time for him to realize who she was, after that first sighting. The little Solo twin had changed into a gorgeous young woman in such a little time. Kyp know her for a long time but the moment he had seen her enter that hall, he found himself helplessly in love for the second time in his life. Jaina was smart, beautiful, brave, an awesome pilot, stubborn, infuriating, and would never be his, something that he couldn't change, no matter what he desired. “She is quite pretty,” Miko said, appearing by his side once more “Pretty is the understatement of the century,” Kyp replied, startled by the confession he had just made unconsciously. Miko just smiled at him knowingly. “She reminds me a bit of Deirdre. Beautiful, intelligent, brave, should I go on?” The green eyed man growled at his former apprentice and looked back at the festivities. Jaina was now dancing with her twin brother Jacen, her brown eyes sparkling with joy. Her long brown hair reached half way down her back, shimmering as the light danced on the silken locks. A long shimmering gown hugged her curves at all the right places. Kyp couldn’t disagree with his gone friend, Jaina was in many ways like Deirdre. Perhaps that would explain why he found her so attractive yet so unattainable. Kyp looked at his younger vision. The face was hardened, the body language showing his thoughts, `I dare you to come and speak to me´. He was standing alone like the rogue he had become. If it was possible his facial features hardened even more as he watched Lowbacca leading her to the dance floor. Jealousy creped into his heart in a short moment of weakness. Why couldn’t he be the man dancing with her? `No´, he had said to himself, `jealousy is the path to the dark side´. But even after convincing himself, that thread of jealousy was still there, dominating his unconscious thoughts. It was then that Han came up and pulled him over to the bar, telling him all about the latest stunts he had pulled over near Smugglers run. This forced Kyp to forget his thoughts of Jaina, just sitting down chatting to his old friend. “Kyp it’s time to go, you have already seen so much tonight, but there is still an ample amount left for you. I know it couldn't have been easy for you though. In this short amount of time you have seen your family at it's happiest, your heart blossom and be broken right after one another, then finally the night where you watched Jaina, and fell in love with her, the night you allowed your heart to feel love again. At one point you had assumed that it would only lead you to a lifetime of pain, and you were right, to a degree. But now it is different, isn’t it? Kyp stared down on his boots, remembering the losses and sacrifices from his years of raging war against the Yuuzhan Vong. “Yes it is different now,” he admitted, gazing up at Miko. Surprised, he glanced around the room excepting him to appear again, but Miko was gone. The dark haired man was again sitting in his armchair, an emptied bottle lying on the floor beside it. He grabbed it and threw it in a corner frustrated when it shattered into hundreds of shards of glass. `History is such a pain´, he thought with a grimace. It had hurt so much to relive reading Deirdre's letter, but surprisingly hurt more to watch the beautiful Jaina dance. He summoned himself another bottle and brought it to his lips. What he most desired would never be his. `Typical, all good things were forbidden to evil doers´. He tilted the bottle and let the alcohol drone his feelings away.
