	lol don't do it again, red oOoOoOo Hello! A new post for today! For the short one from yesterday today a bit longer and here you go... runs and hides Second Part Kyp looked around. He recognized his surrounding but couldn’t but a finger on it where to place it. The entrance room was decorated with mistletoes, candles, paper snow crystals and other decorations. Chewbacca pushed him further until he stood in a living room, also decorated. Kyp looked around. At the table were sitting Han Solo, his best friend and his wife. Leia had never trusted him after what he had done to Luke. Not even when he had worked and flown with her daughter, protecting her with his life. Beside her was sitting Jacen. Mara sat opposite him with little Ben on her side. Now it hit him where he was, the Skywalker rooms in the praxeum. They had all invited for Christmas and it would seem all could come. Luke was standing at a side table and poured them all a drink. “All the people who like me most,” he thought bitter. Kyp wondered where Jaina could be. Speaking of the devil ... the confident young woman just arrived. His eyes drank her in. She was wearing a read dress. It reached down to her knees showing her perfectly formed, shapely legs. She had clasped a cape around her shoulders. She looked stunning. He shook his head to get his thoughts under control again. The sound of Chewies laugh let him nearly jump. The Wookie barked, //So, Jaina is holding your heart in her hands, isn’t she.// The aging Jedi Master glared at him. “I don’t know what you are talking about,” he snapped angrily. Again the Wookie laughed or his equivalent to a chuckle and nodded toward the people at the table, //Listen then you will understand.// Kyp turned toward the group. He didn’t know what he was doing here nor did he understand it but better get over it. “Jaina, is everything alright,” Mara asked. “Yeah, I am fine.” “And why don’t I believe you?” her twin asked. Jaina glared at her brother. “Can we assume that your way crossed the form of our regular git Jedi Master Durron today,” Mara asked, wanted to know. Jaina nodded slightly. Kyp wondered why Mara spoke before her young son in such a way. That she didn’t like him hadn't phase him, but to speak that way in front of a child... “What did he do to you?” the red haired woman asked further. “Nothing much. We bumped into each other when I was on my way to my rooms after I landed. We had a little argument, not really an argument, he sort of closed up, like he was trying to keep me away.” “Jaina you try every time when you are here to break through his shields, and yet he does the same thing every time, push you away. Give it up Jaina, he doesn’t want you in his life,” Mara said. “Everyone needs a friend even Kyp...” The sound of his name had never sounded so beautiful when coming from an others mouth. “... And at Christmas it is even better to have someone who cares about what happens to you.” “Let it go. He doesn’t want you. I don’t understand how you can still want him. He never was nor is friendly to anyone; he doesn't even help other people unless they are him. He is arrogant and self centered.” “Jaina, how long have you been trying to get him to open up, five years? I think it is finally time to let go of him.” “Aunt Mara! How can you say that? You know what he has done during the war! He saved my life and he saved so many others. He deserves some happiness in his live, if he won’t acknowledge it himself.” “You have been going after him since you saw him at Hapes, and yet he still treats you like you are a child. If he really is that blind, move on Jaina. Where is the point behind your behavior? Find someone else. There are others out there who would treat you like you deserve.” “Aunt, for your information, it has been since Sernpidal, if not earlier, thank you very much. You didn’t see the way he was when we were flying together, when we were at Borleias, when he helped me were he could. And what did I do? I ignored him, said him we are comrades and didn’t define what I meant by it, and I had a boyfriend. I know very well how imperfect he is. On the contrary, who is perfect? He can be a git and an unfriendly jerk but even he deserves, even needs a bit of love. How can I move on and live, find another boyfriend when he is probably the only one who can understand me? Yeah, I think, Kyp Durron, rogue Jedi Master and destroyer of Carida, the most insufferable man in the galaxy, is probably the only one who is able to understand me. He has a passion for flying like me, he has touched the dark side and he knows what am I going to say before I actually say it. I can talk to him about thinks that I cannot talk with other about it, because they don’t understand, not like he does. I don’t want some stupid, body builder – type hotshot. I want someone who challenges me every day, who will be able to keep up with me in every way and the only one I know that can do that is Kyp!” Jaina’s face got redder from anger by every word she spat at her aunt. When she had finished speaking the young woman was standing and nearly screaming her words at the normally feared former right hand of the Empire. Kyp stood besides Chewbacca dumbfounded. He tried to catch up with what he had heard moments before. Jaina Solo, the little Solo princess, fancied him. The only problem with it was that it only was a dream. A Christmas – induced, alcohol – driven dream. It startled him to feel the ghostly, cold hand on his shoulder. He faced the apparition and saw Chewie smiling. //That is our Jaina. Always speaking her mind. Always with her head through the wall.// Kyp looked again at the group and saw Jaina throw her napkin on the table, bid them a short goodbye and nearly fled the room. The aging man closed his eyes, reliving the just seen fantasy, how she was standing up for him in front of her family. He didn’t know anyone who had done that before. Not even Deirdre.
