And Chewie being dead is the start of the war. please explain time confusion? :-x Okay I try to explain: The story starts with Christmas five years after the YV war in a praxeum (planet not mentioned). That it is five years after the war I mention later in the story namely in the next post. Chapter `Visiting Christmases of the Past´. scene with his family: Kyp was five (I got told it is not quite right but didn’t change it) scene with Deirdre: he met her with sixteen and one year later she wrote the letter scene Christmas feast: (he got jealous of the boys dancing with Jaina) is set one year before war. Here ended chapter `Visiting Christmases of the Past´. The second ghost appeared, Chewie, showing him present Christmas (five years after the war ended). So far I have posted. 	Third Part The dark haired man turned his back to the Solos and Skywalkers and opened his eyes again. He had wanted to catch more of the conversation they were having but instead he found himself in a dark room. He was irritated and looked around. Seeing the figure of Chewie signalling for him to be silent, he complied, if a bit irritantly. Kyp paused and let his eyes adjust to the darkness of the room. Suddenly his ears picked up a faint noise. Weeping. Someone it the room was crying. He concentrated all his attention to the sound, trying to locate the person. “Why ... is really something wrong with me? I’m just the little Solo girl for him ... that on he played with, braided her hair, read stories ... Why do I even try?” the voice whispered between deep breaths. Kyp was stunned. He knew that voice. He had known that voice for a long time and never heard that distress in it. Not even in the war. It was Jaina. Jaina was crying, crying over him and his stupidity. Kyp felt a twinge in his chest. That crying woman was getting to him. Jaina was getting to him. He wanted to comfort her, whispering loving encouragements into her ear, stroke her hair, hold her ... until her tears were dried. He took a step toward her but was stopped by Chewies hand. //Kyp. Now we must go. There is one more stop and not much time left.// The Wookie and the Jedi found themselves an instant later standing before Kyps door. He heard the sound of shoes tapping on the stone floor and they were coming toward them. He tried to search the darkness for the person who caused the sound. He could make out a tiny form, the curvy form of a woman ... when she came nearer he recognized her. Jaina. She had something in her hand that looked suspiciously like a bottle. Her eyes were red-rimmed and her cheeks tear-stained. Kyp fought with himself not to reach out for her, pull her into his arms. `It is only a dream´, the told himself, `she would never do that, never would feel that. Only in my fantasies does she fancy me too. That's what it is, a fantasy. Nothing more, nothing less.´ The brown haired woman knelt down and placed the bottle at the stone floor before the door. She rose and laid her hand flat at the door like she wanted to feel through it something. She stood there for what seemed like an eternity, totally motionless only her chest was rising as she breathed. Then her lips started to move and Kyp believed to hear “Merry Christmas, my dear love!” With that she turned and vanished in the dark corridor. Kyp stood dumbfounded. Had he really heard right? My dear love? His mind was playing tricks, he decided and knelt down to see what she had left. It was a bottle of the very unique Corellian whiskey `Whyren’s reserve´. It was her. Had it always been her since the war ended five years ago? Kyp scowled mentally at himself for not realizing in whose goodwill he stood. Every year he had received his special gift on Christmas Eve. Every year he had wondered who was so stupid to give it to him. And always he had enjoyed the exquisite liqueur alone. And he truly enjoyed it. Suddenly he remembered her remark to Mara `since Sernpidal´. Almost ten years now! Had she carried a torch for him so long? Had she pined for him? Nobody does that, no one smart at least! She is happy with that Fel kid, he tried to convince himself. Nobody pines for him. That is all a silly, fantasy creation by his alcohol clouded mind. Chewie was quiet watching the Jedi Master and Kyp felt the intense gaze on him. When the tension grew the great creature barked, //It’s time to go, Kyp. You have much to think about.// Before Kyp could ask a question the Wookie disappeared and the corridor was silent and dark. He was alone again. The Jedi entered quietly his room, looking down where Jaina had left the bottle. It was gone. Could she rally have left it? He scowled at himself for being so optimistic and hopefully. Nothing good can happen on Christmas. Not to him at least! Before he closed the door he gazed the corridor up and down but saw nothing unusual. As he went through his rooms toward his bunk his eyes catch the bottle of whiskey. He toyed with the thought to grab it. Just one swing, just enough to knock him out, just enough to let his dreams go away. He hesitated. No, he thought, enough strange dreams, they all began with getting drunk. It was enough he didn’t need any more of them. Kyp wondered if it could be all a joke, a bad one but a joke form one of his fellow Jedi who manipulated his mind. But wouldn’t it be a bit dark sided to play with someone’s mind? He decided to mediate for the rest of the night not wanting to give the dreams a chance to come back. He sat cross – legged on his bunk because he disliked sitting on the cold stone floor and slowly became at one with the force.
