	Oh, this is wonderful, Gabri! Much like Noise, but I think I liked this one better Jaina "playing" with her uncle's X-wing- and Mara ribbing Luke for not letting her berate Jaina Anyway, seeing more pilot!Luke is always awesome, and Mara just makes me laugh. 	Okay, finally made it here But I wasn't at all sure that I owed her enough to tolerate her standing on the top rung of the X-wing's access ladder, leaning over the cockpit to watch me work and smirking all the while. She is incredibly spiteful "Luke, what does this button do?" I glanced back up at her, and paused. "Mara, if you trigger the ejection seat, I swear -" I just about spit my drink all over my computer screen "I had to let up on that part of the code," I grumbled, jumping slightly as a sudden spray of sparks erupted from the opened panel before me. Great, just great. "It was the only way you had a chance of getting in." Nice to see Luke able to keep up and growing some fangs "Here, I'll hold the wires back. You just get to the control panel." Surprised, I nevertheless let her take the tangle of wire from me. It was easier to reach the controls this way, there was no denying that. I really like this when you contrast it with "Noise." Luke is irritated but willing to let Mara help, where in the same situation, Mara flat-out refused to let Skywalker near anything. Says a lot about both characters. The first thing that jumped out at me was the switch to first person from "Noise." I think it's great that you took Luke's POV as these two viggies are more about Mara, IMO, and I think you get a great view of a character from other people's perspective rather than going with Mara's and telling us everything she thinks and feels. It lets the reader be an observer just like Luke, if that makes sense Again, I thought it was great that you avoided mush The unspoken romantic-tension is much more exciting anyway, and a much better examination of the dynamic between the two Some of the best interaction I've read between two characters in a long time. The banter was priceless! You have a great sense of humor and write it well. And I really enjoyed the ending with them plotting revenge on the Solo children. It was perfect I'm more than impressed, Gabri. Besides, I quite agree that the unspoken romantic tension is fantastic between these two, and it often tends to be underrated.
