	I like the fact that the Jedi in this galaxy don't seem as ... well, I suppose 'meddlesome' isn't the right word, but I hope you know what I mean anyway. Good of them to leave the decision to Bail and Leia, though, instead of taking it into their own hands, I suppose I'm saying. And by the hells, girl, plot is thickening like maple syrup on a cold day. Hope you offer us pancakes. is still wondering where Han is I haven't missed him anywhere, have I? Any chance we're going to get some princess and pirate romance in this, oba? 	Ooohhh! I like that Obi-Wan is still alive. This story gets more and more interesting with every post. I like seeing so many characters I'm familiar with in the Saga. Very nicely done. 	Good post. I loved the council, their interaction was priceless. Obi Wan is my second favorite character, behind Luke. I think the NR is playing directly into Luke's hand. I imagine that Luke is extremely adept at uncovering machinations, much like Palpatine. 	The plot thickens! My little political intrigue radar was going off big time in this post, oba. (And I didn't even know I had one! A radar, that is. ) I like the inclusion of so many characters from both the movies and EU: it really helped to ground me in the setting, and makes all the krazehness seem . . . well, absolutely normal and possible. And Obi! You know. I loved the description of him, and the insight into where he's been and all that jazz. And they want Mara to spy for them? Lovely foreshadowing in this passage, Mum. 	Wow! This looks like it is going to be a great story! I have really enjoyed it so far, especially with Luke as emperor. Interesting that Luke doesn't (or seems to not) know about Leia. 	Elli: I think they would learn from their experiences. I think originally, they just never had the chance to. Had they lived, I think they would realized the mistakes they made with Anakin (Obi-Wan certainly would have, imho) and endeavored not to make them again. Pancakes? No, you haven't missed Han anywhere. Just remember, the story is focused on L/M. Pirate and the princess? Well . . . ponders how to answer Yes and no. But I had a lot of fun with it in this, and I think it really does add to the story, having all this going on while L/M get to know each other. I remember at first I had intended pretty much all scenes to be from Luke or Mara's POV, and that was the first that wasn't - but I had so much fun with it, it just flew off the page. Just because I think differently! still thinks the Aenied is better then the Odyssey - hands down I think you're ignoring individual decisions (or awareness of cultural pressure) as well as making some assumptions (dratted word, but nevertheless true) - I know perfectly well what an assumption is, but your definition doesn't mean it's a good support on which to make your case, which it seems to me you are doing.
