	Lurker - I do try to come up with interesting/meaningful titles if I can. I was going to go with something a little more mundane using a pun with 'hand' when I remembered the word Metonym from my Technical Writing class. It's nice when things work out like that, isn't it? Knight_Aragorn - Thanks so much! Yeah, i'm big into symbolism . Metonomy is a much ignored technique, in my opinion - most often confused with metaphors. Glad you liked it. RedGold - That you do FyreHeart - Thanks. That line is probably the one i'm least pleased with, it is a little confusing the way i've written it. I was basically trying to get across that she's spilled the blood of others, but to her it felt like she'd inflicted herself with the pain. The figurative "blood" on her hands and soul feels her own - she feels like she is the one bleeding to death. Is that a bit clearer, or have I confused you further? Jaina Solo 15 - Thank you. It really was my goal to build up Mara's alter ego, if you will, as a seperate identity. Glad it came across that way. StarFighter5 - Thanks for reading, glad you liked it. Jaded Girl - Thanks heaps! You're portrayal of Mara was dead-on and you seemed to slip into first-person easily. One of the best portrayals of Mara I've ever read. 	Wow. Awesome story and perfect characterization of Mara. Hmm, me wonders if Luke found about this and what he's reaction would be. 	ZekksGoddess - Thank you! I just thought that is Anakin could be seperated into two personalities - Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader - than a similar thing could be applied to Mara. I really don't think they dealt enough with her facing up to her past in the profics. 	I thought I had responded to this. Wow! I really liked the introspection about her service to the Emperor. Even though Luke found peace with his conclusions in VOTF, I can imagine that it would take a little more than that for Mara to come to terms with her demons. Yeah, I figured, she does have quite a few to deal with! I believe that, especially in Mara's case, it is harder to forgive yourself than it is for others to forgive the things you've done.
