I didn't cry, but that was very very moving. That was a great way for Han to say goodbye, to know what the jedi in his life have felt, to have everyone there even if only mentally. The politics seemed very real. The Icequeen was well done. All very well done, all very true to character.
You made me love Han more! The Anakin bit was wonderful! I think non-jedi are in the force, just not able to communicate with the non-dead. But that's just me.
I have to agree though I do feel bad for Luke, his generation of loved ones are dead. Did Leia die of a heart attack?

Today is a day of surprises... Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you liked it. You can say that Leia had a heart attack or maybe she let herself go... It's up to you.

I found this yesterday and had to read it. I just finished it now, and...my goodness!
I really like the concept of Jedi blood transfusions. You wrote this bunny so beautifully. It was sad, but also just plain beautiful.
I listened to "The Show Must Go On" while I read Chapter VIII, and it was so intense. It gave me chills.
The epilogue was perfect. I love the two souls/two suns passage.
Wonderful fic, Golden_Jedi!

Well, the original plot bunny was not mine but I did the best I could with it.
That song is special to me, thank you. And yes, I was very depressed when I wrote this.
Thank you for reading!

you had tears streaming down my face on those last two chapters
this was a powerfully written piece, the emotions and imagery were strong.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us.

btw, if you hadn't said that english was not your first language, i don't think that I would have been able to tell. Your grasp of the language is amazing. (and considering the difficulties i've had lately spelling in my native tongue..... well i won't go there)

This is just a post to say I read this story and I liked it a lot.
I cried. It's so sad for all three of our heros but so fitting. I liked that they were at least able to grow old together and to continue to care for and love each other. I also thought the idea of Luke and Leia taking care of each other after their SO's died was really sweet. I also loved the image of a pack of younglings following Luke around all the time. It was not only sweet but felt really right. Han dying while saving Leia also felt right. It was a good death.

That was so sad yet so beautiful. I think I was in tears for most of it. I especially loved what Luke did for Han, allowing him to say goodbye to all of his loved ones, especially Leia. Having Han's son Anakin lead him to the other side was inspired. I think Leia just let herself go because she had completed the true story of her and Han's life. The ending was perfect. Wonderful writing!

Believe it or not, but I like the NJO books.
"Han, we had our first kiss in the belly of a space slug. Believe me when I say that my expectations of doing anything remotely romantic with you have never been particularly high." - Leia in "NJO: Refugee"

I remember seeing this in the summer, but I didn't have the heart to read a tear-jerker then and couldn't bring myself to read it - then. I finally broke down and read through and dagnabit, look what I've been missing!
I did cry...but it was a "happy" cry, if that makes sense. It was a wonderful read and also haunting. I'll probably dream about this tonight...

Wow! This is the best birthday present ever! (Well, there were a few others, but those are not publishable here )
_ThatJediScum_ : I also loved the image of a pack of younglings following Luke around all the time. I was thinking of Yoda when I wrote that part .
Solo_Fan: Anakin was a very nice and cooperative character to write. Thank you for your words!
Liesl: It is a winter tale, isn't it? It was the middle of a dark, long winter for me when I wrote this...
Thank you everybody for reading, I know it was not easy.
