Hey:  Great to have you and this back!!
Argh!! Poor Luke. He's really having a time.  And Mara-- foot, hearing voices-- next thing you know it'll tell her to jump.  And she probably would. 
Wow!!! I thought Mara had turned the corner but she seems to be slipping further.

This chapter was worth the wait. I can't decide which is worse: the voice in Mara's head or the Bothan with those pictures...

Yay! An update! You already know I love this story so much and it keeps getting better with every post.
Now just who is that pretending to be Talon?
And poor Mara! Although I certainly can't blame her for wanting a little farmboy comfort!  Who could resist him?

Yippie, an update!!!
Such a great chapter, too. I loved your characterization of Leia and I'm glad she bumped into our sneaky friend. She's a smart cookie--she'll be on the look out for him I think.
And what an ending:
“You see?” Talon’s voice re-appeared in within her mind.
“You were right,” she answered. Talon was the only one that could help her – the only one that she could trust.
Quite frankly, this scared me.

An official welcome back from me to you, JL! *hugs* I hope you're all settled in and enjoying life abroad. Reading this update has really made my day.
“It will do for now.” Luke replied, easing her of the need to vocalise her concerns. “There’s nothing in there that can hurt her.”
Now, Luke... you should know better than that.  If that line doesn't sound foreboding in its own innocent way, then I don't know what would. The first voice with Talon might have been him... but this second go-around is definitely not him.
Something scary lies ahead... Great note to update on!

I agree with ginchy. THAT is not Talon! This is such a sad story because so many that truely care for one another feel that they can not trust each other or even themselves. Worth the wait and can not wait for more! Thanks.

Nice. Hearing voices Mara? I'm not sure what to make of "Talon" except that i'm afraid he will make Mara more insular after she defeats this problem.

none of this seems to be going in a positive direction... Mara´s hearing voices, there are sketchy bothans lurking around the apartment, and Luke and Mara are effectively locked in a room together, though at least this time they did it to themselves (well, Luke did, anyway).
i am officially worried.

All caught up and boy do I love this fic. It may be the grittiest and most raw (emotionally) Mara I've ever read and I love how complex and dark these characterizations are.
Bravo to Luke for not taking her up on her offer, bravo to Leia for butting out and (at least intending to) let Luke do what he needs to do for the woman he still loves...oh yeah...he still loves her.
If you have a PM list will you had me to it, between your break and my own break and life in general, I'm terrible at keeping up these days unless I'm whacked over the head with updates. I lost this story once, I don't want to lose it again if you are finding time to update frequently!
