And in this lifetime where wrongs are inseparable from the rights,
We know that your flaws were as much a part of you as your strengths.
Just as we cannot choose to exist without our hearts or minds,
So too we cannot choose to deny love to that which makes us human.

I grant to you, oh beloved one, from afar
This last gift from my heart and soul.
Take from me on your final journey
That which is the best of me.

Take from me my forgiveness.
Take from me my love.
Leave within me the best part of you.
An eternal piece of your spirit.

Until that time we can share these words in person,
Know now as I call it out to the heavens.
Your love flows into me as my love flows into you.
Forever is merely a blink of an eye.

Thus we will see each other tomorrow.
- Corellian Granting of Forgiveness

Chapter Two

Hustling into the darkened room, Kyp kept his head down and allowed his long locks of hair to partially obscure his face. Trying to stay inconspicuous was probably a futile effort when entering a room full of Jedi, but he did it anyway. The less attention he drew to himself the better. He was in no shape to add embarrassment to the pile of emotions roiling inside him since leaving the Twin Suns hangar.

Of course, Jedi Master Corran Horn didn’t see it that way. He rolled the briefing to a deliberate halt, giving all eyes the opportunity to roam in Kyp’s direction.

Kyp scowled at Valin’s father and slipped into the nearest open seat. With a wave of a hand, he motioned Corran to continue.

Pacing across the sunken floor of the briefing chamber, the Corellian Jedi cleared his throat. “Now that Master Durron is here, I presume it’s a good time to discuss the tactical reports compiled by the Circle Task Force.”

The rational part of Kyp knew he should be most interested in this part of the weekly Jedi Council update briefing, but another part of him couldn’t find the strength to focus on the words, let alone their meaning. Zekk and his minions were the reason for the one source of emptiness in his otherwise complete life. He had a wonderful lover and best friend. Kyp commanded a top-notch squadron. He had earned enough respect to sit on the Council. He had begun to realize there was more to learn about the Force than he had ever imagined, and more importantly he had used this newfound knowledge to find a way to make peace with his life. Despite all of it, despite the fact that for all intents and purposes he should be a happy and content man, Kyp still felt a constant hollow ache in his life.

The irony was not lost on Kyp that, on the same day he had discovered untapped volumes of Force potential inside him, the most precious thing the Force had ever given him had been ripped from his soul. True, the actual moment he had felt her disappearance from the Force had come days later, but there was no doubt Zekk’s actions in the meadow had left Jaina reeling. Even as Synjon had been born, Kyp had felt darkness gnawing at the thread of their Force bond. Some things were simply too powerful to share with anyone. And while Kyp had accepted that his Force partner might withdraw for some time, he could never have predicted the brutal and sudden severing of her light from the core of his soul.

It was as if Jaina had died.

Kyp rubbed his breastbone absentmindedly while memories of that night flooded back. Even after two years the pain was so raw he physically ached at the recollection of Jaina ripping herself from the Force. Since that night he had meditated on the matter, scouring his memories in vivid detail, looking for a reason why. Why had Jaina done the unthinkable? And how? Jedi were part of the Force; they died without it. He knew she had been angry, even filled with hate, but unlike those who fell to the clutches of the Dark Side, she had recognized it. And all those who loved her would have kept her from falling.

Sometimes he wasn’t sure what pained him more – the fact that he had a weeping hole in his heart where she no longer resided, or the realization that she didn’t trust him enough to be the one to help her during her self-imposed exile. Why Valin? Why not him? Hadn’t he given everything of himself for her?

While Jaina had turned her back on the Force, Kyp had found only comfort in it since her departure. When the questions bubbled to the fore, he could meditate and the Force would immerse him in a soothing wash of acceptance. These were Jaina’s choices, not his. She owed him nothing, not even an explanation, especially since his truest feelings were undeclared. In the end, his choice to love without return had been the reason Kyp had been left in an emotional vacuum. How could Jaina have ever known –

“… the current situation on Presidium Prime requires immediate attention.” For some reason, Corran’s words echoed in Kyp’s head, interrupting his thoughts. “Jogarla the Hutt’s cartel has been making ground in the system and the latest intelligence reveals that Jogarla now has key elected officials eating out of her hand.”

Kyp straightened in his chair, his senses heightened by some odd awakening. His heart hammered and his breath quickened. The Force tingled on the tips of the hair on his arms. It was an odd sensation, almost like a danger sense but not quite; similar to a Force vision but different. He couldn’t find a reason. Why now? They were long past discussing the latest moves against the Circle, and the most recent information about the brutal attacks leveled by Zekk’s underlings across the galaxy. In fact, Corran’s briefing was winding down, with only mop up details of minor concerns left on the agenda. So what about this particular subject, this crime boss, this syndicate?

Kyp froze, suddenly aware that his hand had slipped to the lightsaber fastened to his side. Not his lightsaber, though. The one he had called back from the depths of a waterfall, from the cliffs of the Valley of Tears. His fingers had wrapped around the smooth hilt, lovingly polished and restored over the last two years so that it once more looked like the weapon of a master swordsman.

Jacen, for all his years of indecision and vacillation, had stood his ground earlier today, and he’d been right. Kyp would eventually endanger Jaina with his personal quest. Where Kyp went, others could surely follow if they thought he was looking for Jaina. Kyp had known this to be true the moment Jacen had challenged him on his actions; he also had known the Force would show him another way. Kyp had known that to be true beyond a shadow of a doubt, because the core of him always had known Jaina’s fate would be inextricably tied to his. That truth was undeniable.

“So we’re looking for a Jedi or two with time on their hands –” A few chuckles rose from the gathered Jedi as Corran wrapped up his discussion on Presidium Prime “– who could pay Jorgala a visit and –“

“I’ll do it.”

Usually one to pace throughout the length of his briefings, Corran stopped dead in his tracks. He blinked into the dim semi-circle of seats, his eyes eventually falling on the same person at whom every other Jedi was staring. “The Dozen seems a bit of overkill, Master Durron.”

Corran was right; the Dozen was overkill. Jorgala was a minor player; one Master or two Knights could dispatch the problem easily. But the Dozen was necessary to cover the real reason Kyp wanted this mission. “The problem will just get resolved that much faster, then,” Kyp said with forced levity.

“We don’t need Hutt slime on our hands, Master Durron.”

Kyp bristled, torn between wanting to round on Corran and the need to prove he was above reducing common bullies, even Jedi bullies, to mush. Then again, Kyp somehow knew his look alone was enough to make even the most fearless Jedi balk. Corran left the rest unsaid.

“We have our usual tour of appreciation on Thyferra in two weeks time,” Kyp noted. It had the added advantage of being the truth. The Dozen didn’t operate on dreams and air. They were one of the premiere squadrons in the galaxy because of the generous donations from the Bacta Cartels on Drue’s home planet. “Correct me if I’m wrong, but Presidium Prime is on the way.”

Corran’s lips compressed to a thin line, and he offered a curt nod. “Fair enough. We can finalize specifics after this briefing.”

For the first time in a long while, Kyp felt light in his heart, like the Force was flooding into the empty spots to drown out the dread that had settled there. He felt as if his heart was being prepared for another change; he felt a new hope. Somehow the Force had closed one door and opened another.

One way or another he would find Jaina. He had to; Jedi died without the Force.

**********

“Dismissed.”

Jacen ended the mission briefing like all the others recently. If someone had asked him two years ago if he could imagine what he’d be doing now, his answer would not have been dismissing his squadron at the end of a tough week dogging enemies of the Alliance across the galaxy. This was what Jaina did – pilot, fight the good fight, command. Jacen had never believed he could lead, let alone serve in a duty-bound position within a structured organization. Yet all the same, saying “dismissed” felt natural.

The pilots – his pilots – trickled from the squad room until only two were left. Fee sat in her usual chair, near the back of the room on the right, where her eyes were always quietly observing individual reactions. She was a great study of character, and Jacen had learned to rely on her opinions on personnel interactions. In the front row, also on the right, Valin shuffled uncomfortably in his seat. Jacen got the distinct impression the young man didn’t feel much like sharing.

Then again he never did. Whatever Valin knew about Jaina’s predicament, he shared as little as possible, and then reluctantly. When she had disappeared, Jaina had entrusted Valin with a deep secret, and he guarded it fiercely. At first Valin had managed to sneak off from time to time to visit her – until the first time his unauthorized vacation had ended up taking longer than expected. After a week absent without leave, the young man had reappeared with a battered X-wing and enough injuries to require two days in a bacta tank. Faced with the possibility of court martial and expulsion from the squadron, Valin had made the only choice he could and had confessed the truth of his excursions. While Jacen’s Solo heritage included the ability to be subversive and sneaky, it was beyond his ability to reverse engineer all the necessary parameters that would have been required to keep Valin’s secret from being exposed.

That was where Fee had entered the picture. Jacen had seen no option but to involve the talented slicer. In his gut he had known that no single person other than Valin could be as loyal to his sister, and in the end, it had proven to be the right decision. Now the three of them were immersed in a conspiracy to hide Jaina from the galaxy, even though only one of them actually knew her location.

Perhaps not knowing was for the best. At times like this, when Valin looked aged beyond his years, Jacen wanted to go to Jaina himself and shake her out of whatever funk had consumed her. Then again, he couldn’t even begin to try to put himself in Jaina’s shoes…

With merely a thought, Jacen scanned the outer hall. Determining it was empty, he waved a hand across his body. The squad room door slid shut. For a long moment none of them dared speak.

Finally, Jacen let out his breath with a hiss. “So.”

Valin shifted in his chair. “Nothing particular to report. Everyone is fine.”

“No change?” Jacen had stopped being hopeful that things would be different. “She still wants her privacy?”

Valin nodded.

Jacen’s heart sank. He plopped against the nearest seatback; perhaps there had been a little hope.

Valin turned to Fee. “She sent her thanks for the encryption program.”

Jacen straightened. “So she accepted it?” This was the first time Jaina hadn’t returned everything they had given Valin to take along.

“She sent back the gifts –” Valin dug into his pocket and held out a datacard “– and your letter.”

Snatching the disc, Jacen said, “Why does she have to be so stubborn?”

Fee arrived at the front of the room and stood beside Valin. “Is that a rhetorical question, or do you really want an answer?”

He met her piercing blue-eyed stare, then caught his tongue before he snapped back. There was something about Fee that broke down his emotional control. It would do none of them any good, especially not Jaina, if he were to say something ugly and upset the comfortable camaraderie that had formed in their secret cabal. “It’s a question that needs no answer.”

“My guess would be that Jaina needs the program, that it will make her life easier in some way.” Fee placed a hand on Valin’s shoulder, and he smiled. “Maybe even safer.”

Valin started to nod, then stopped himself. The damage had already been done, though. Fee had managed to dig another clue from Valin without him even realizing he had been under interrogation.

Jacen had to fight hard to keep a grin off his face when Fee met his gaze. For a second their eyes locked and he felt some shared bond –

“What are you guys still doing in here?”

The trio started in unison, and Jacen silently cursed their lack of awareness. Tanner stood at the door, looking curiously from one to the next. Of all the Twin Suns pilots, Tanner was the last one they needed snooping down their tails. He had the wherewithal and the personal reasons, with Kyta lost to the galaxy as well, to figure out their true purpose.

Fee, always quick on her feet, walked toward Tanner and casually warded off the question with a flip of her hand. “Jedi business. I had a question for the boys.” She glanced over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at Jacen. “I’m trying to figure out what a girl has to do around here to get a real lightsaber.”

Jacen swallowed, then realized Tanner was more anxious than even he was. “What is it?”

“I just received a priority level message from Starfighter Command.”

In unison, Jacen, Fee and Valin stiffened. “It said?” Jacen asked.

“We have a new addition to the ranks –“

Slapping his palm on his forehead, Jacen exclaimed, “Tahiri’s having her baby!”

EDIT: First reply happy

The Corellian Granting of Forgiveness is absolutely stunning. Loved Jacen's thought how Fee breaks down all his emotional control. love Kyp is shady, per usual. I hope he doesn't get people in trouble, but suddenly that scene of Jaina losing grip of Keira's hand comes to mind. worried It's totally refreshing to see these people be true to character, even when in an AU situation--well done. It's becoming a rare and valuable commodity around here. I hate having to wait a week at a time to read this thing, but I guess I'll live.

Poor Kyp. My guess is cause she knows he loves her too much sad She can only trust somebody she knows will let her finish what she started, no matter what it takes and Valin respects her first, loves her second. Kyp would try to hold her back, wouldn't let her do certain things if he thought they went too far.

Jacen had never believed he could lead, let alone serve in a duty-bound position within a structured organization. Yet all the same, saying “dismissed” felt natural.

It's funny how subversive little things in protocol can be laugh

Jacen said, “Why does she have to be so stubborn?”

Cause you love her too much too sad

Yeah. Why Valin? I understand that he was her apprentice and all. But Kyp had always been so much more.

Jacen, for all his years of indecision and vacillation, had stood his ground earlier today, and he’d been right. Kyp would eventually endanger Jaina with his personal quest. I'm glad Kyp realized Jacen was right. And if there is a way to find her without looking like that's what he's doing, he should take it.

“I’ll do it.”

Atta boy Kyp. He took it.

Snatching the disc, Jacen said, “Why does she have to be so stubborn?”

Has he never met Jaina? tongue

Corellian Granting of Forgiveness

This is superb!!!

Zekk or maybe it's you Kyp? Jag also had a wonderful wife, lover and best friend. He also commanded a top-notch squadron. He also was happy. Then it vanished. One by one... until he felt he lost everything and was killed plain

True, the actual moment he had felt her disappearance from the Force had come days later, but there was no doubt Zekk's actions in the meadow had left Jaina reeling.

Ech it's sad but she made it on purpose Kyp. She knew she might fall to the Dark Side and remember that she had a daughter to protect. The last part of her own family and the last piece of her lost love. She lost so much in such a short time that no matter how strong you are, you aren't strong enough to stop the Dark Side from eating you. And she wants to protect her last hope for happy life from Zekk. That's why she cut her connection to Force.

Why Valin? Why not him? Hadn't he given everything of himself for her?

Jag also gave everything and we saw the results plain More later...

he owed him nothing, not even an explanation, especially since his truest feelings were undeclared. In the end, his choice to love without return had been the reason Kyp had been left in an emotional vacuum. How could Jaina have ever known...

Humans are inteligent. They think. And after all that happend, Jaina maybe finally saw that this was a bigger problem then it looks for Kyp. There can be many explanations for her act. You might have tried to take Jag place? She might have been scared that something stronger might grow between you two? She might have been scared that she will forget about Jag? There are so many choices that could happen that could give lots of happiness but also much more pain.

One way or another he would find Jaina. He had to; Jedi died without the Force.

I only hope that when you find her you won't bring her any trouble worried

Now to the second part...

So Valin is the only person that knows where Jaina is... Maybe it's better...

"We have a new addition to the ranks... "

Slapping his palm on his forehead, Jacen exclaimed, "Tahiri's having her baby!"

Buahahahahaha laugh That was so Jacen tongue

Great post once again applause

And once again I'm probably the only person here that is not sorry for Kyp. I like him in this story but for me he is one of the reasons for all those problems that happend.

Wow, Valin must be keeping quite the secret! I can’t wait to find out what’s been going on for these last few years!

Now the three of them were immersed in a conspiracy to hide Jaina from the galaxy, even though only one of them actually knew her location. sad That’s so depressing – I wish Jaina could face the galaxy and Zekk like she used to. But then again, I wish Jag were back too.

At times like this, when Valin looked aged beyond his years I love Valin. He’s such a great guy… I pity him but admire him for sharing Jaina’s burden.

Jacen straightened. “So she accepted it?” This was the first time Jaina hadn’t returned everything they had given Valin to take along.

“We have a new addition to the ranks –“

Slapping his palm on his forehead, Jacen exclaimed, “Tahiri’s having her baby!”
Lol, a new addition to the ranks! laugh

Fantastic post, TKL! I’m glad to see some continued sparkage between Jacen and Fee. They’re going to happen one of these days… I’m also waiting for some insight into Valin, but I know you’ll just leave us all wondering what exactly he and Jaina have been up to...

And I still want to cry for/with Kyp. I wish there was some way he could show Jaina just how much her absence is hurting not only him but half the galaxy... but alas, alas. I know you'll keep us waiting... wink

I love it Boss! Love it!

Jaina really needs to get out of her funk. She really is hurting a lot of people without really meaning to. Poor Valin, that must be a hard secret to carry. Hopefully the mission will give Kyp the oppurtunity to find out where Jaina is. Great post!

The plot thickens (and we're only at chapter 2!).

I love it. I absolutely love it.

And I have a fee-ling Jacen's going to have an epiphany at some point of the story, and he's going to say "Why didn't I realise before that I love her?", hopefully in a positive context.

As for GB being Kyp, my, what a good casting. I have this image of Marek with Dracula's shadowed personnality, a Phantom-y obsessive-compulsive character, Terry Sheridan's witty comebacks and ruthless behaviour and Attila's cunning military mind. A verra fine picture indeed. Not enough to convert me into a K/J shipper, but close. Instead, I'll settle for being the resident Drue...

MTFBWY,

Elf happy

So, Jacen, Fee, and Valin, eh? Iiiinteresting. devil I can understand Jaina wanting to be alone for awhile, but two years? Gah. Poor Solos. sad

Kyp worries me. Jaina is his friend, of course he's worried about her... but he is positively obsessed (thought-wise, anyway).

Great chapter! grin

Uh, whoa. Already like six replies before me. But on to the post...

Kyp scowled at Valin’s father

I love how Kyp's so angry that he thinks of Corran as "Valin's father" even though he's known Corran since before Valin was anything but a mother's wish.

The irony was not lost on Kyp that, on the same day he had discovered untapped volumes of Force potential inside him, the most precious thing the Force had ever given him had been ripped from his soul.

But is it ironic, or is there something in the nature of loss that enables us to let go of our restraints?

Kyp rubbed his breastbone absentmindedly while memories of that night flooded back. Even after two years the pain was so raw he physically ached at the recollection of Jaina ripping herself from the Force. Since that night he had meditated on the matter, scouring his memories in vivid detail, looking for a reason why. Why had Jaina done the unthinkable? And how? Jedi were part of the Force; they died without it. He knew she had been angry, even filled with hate, but unlike those who fell to the clutches of the Dark Side, she had recognized it. And all those who loved her would have kept her from falling.

You can't fight the battle for her, Kyp. This is beyond you, and you need to figure out how to let yourself live with that truth.

[face_crying]

He really has given everything for her.

While Jaina had turned her back on the Force, Kyp had found only comfort in it since her departure. When the questions bubbled to the fore, he could meditate and the Force would immerse him in a soothing wash of acceptance.

Now this is ironic; or, if not, then at the very least unusual. Because Kyp has never, ever found comfort in the Force before. Not once. The first thing he found from it was freedom--from the mines of Kessel and from his pitiful existence. Then he found power--lots of it. Too much of it. Then he found anguish, both that of the innocent people he killed and his own, for betraying the people who had given him a chance. And never was he at peace. He kept fighting and killing and hiding from his insecurities and fears until Jaina's descent to the Dark Side snapped him out of his self-absorbed rut. And she was his redemption, teaching him how to live as someone lovable and important, someone whose past sins don't need to enslave him anymore. And now, through losing her, he turns to the Force for his reassurance.

As terrible as losing Jaina is, I think Kyp stands to learn a lot from his position. That is, if he's willing to.

Whoa. Intense. Whoa. My heart started to beat faster just reading that. Wow.

One way or another he would find Jaina. He had to; Jedi died without the Force.

Uh, are we supposed to accept this as fact, or as Kyp's POV?

Jacen ended the mission briefing like all the others recently. If someone had asked him two years ago if he could imagine what he’d be doing now, his answer would not have been dismissing his squadron at the end of a tough week dogging enemies of the Alliance across the galaxy. This was what Jaina did – pilot, fight the good fight, command. Jacen had never believed he could lead, let alone serve in a duty-bound position within a structured organization. Yet all the same, saying “dismissed” felt natural.

Like I said in my last post, Jacen's done a fine job in his own right as a squadron leader. I'm proud of him.

The pilots – his pilots – trickled from the squad room until only two were left. Fee sat in her usual chair, near the back of the room on the right, where her eyes were always quietly observing individual reactions. She was a great study of character, and Jacen had learned to rely on her opinions on personnel interactions.

love

Whoa. shock . Valin's the only one who knows? I thought that Jacen and Fee did, for sure, but I guess they're respecting both Jaina and Valin in not forcing the issue. Wow. Valin's totally awesome.

But who's really awesome is your Jaina. I don't know if I've said it to you before--I wrote a massive PM once that got erased by the computer before I could send it--but your Jaina is one of the most compelling characters on the boards. I try not to say things like that too lightly. But it's true--no other Jaina I've read is as great as yours, great enough to engender unshakeable loyalty in everyone she knows.

I hope we get to see her soon.

Trust is just one tiny step from commitment, and only a couple steps further from love. Your development of Jacen and Fee's relationship is very sweet, with his kindness as one of the catalysts for Fee's overcoming her closely guarded insecurities. I get the feeling that no one really trusted Fee before Jaina came along, and that Jaina and her brother's acceptance of her has broken down a lot of her hostility.

Snatching the disc, Jacen said, “Why does she have to be so stubborn?”

Uh, Jacen, I'm assuming you grew up in the Solo family just like she did. Don't play innocent, especially since you're every bit as stubborn as she is.

There was something about Fee that broke down his emotional control.

I'll give you a hint, Jacen. It's love .

Jacen had to fight hard to keep a grin off his face when Fee met his gaze. For a second their eyes locked and he felt some shared bond

Awww, how cute.

“What are you guys still doing in here?”

And then the moment has to be interrupted...

Well-crafted lie. Though I'm not sure if she realizes how often she's been looking at Jacen this scene. This subconscious bond they share is hilarious in their mutual ignorance of it.

Though I guess it would make sense that the only girl who could put up with Jacen would be one who is as emotionally clueless as he is. If not more.

“I just received a priority level message from Starfighter Command.”

In unison, Jacen, Fee and Valin stiffened. “It said?” Jacen asked.

“We have a new addition to the ranks –“

Slapping his palm on his forehead, Jacen exclaimed, “Tahiri’s having her baby!”

laugh --priority level from Starfighter Command. Hilarious. I'd accuse the military of nepotism if I didn't know that everyone was all qualified for their jobs.

Great stuff again! I can't wait to read more.

EDIT: I just noticed what ]b]jags_gurl[/b] said

She glanced over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at Jacen. “I’m trying to figure out what a girl has to do around here to get a real lightsaber.” mischief mischief love devil is all I have to say… [face_whistle]

laugh --oh the places you could go with a line like that...

applause Great post
some thoughts:

Trying to stay inconspicuous was probably a futile effort when entering a room full of Jedi, but he did it anyway.
Duh there Kyp, did you actually think that would work? At all...??

Kyp scowled at Valin’s father and slipped into the nearest open seat.
Go figure it's Valin's daddy who brings notice to him =P

Jedi were part of the Force; they died without it.
Do they really? I thought they just lost purpose...eh, same thing I spose

Yeah, for someone you loved, that would really be a kick in the heart. Sure Valin was her apprentice, but he was her partner!

Kyp froze, suddenly aware that his hand had slipped to the lightsaber fastened to his side. Not his lightsaber, though. The one he had called back from the depths of a waterfall, from the cliffs of the Valley of Tears.
Ah, so he kept it =O

“We have our usual tour of appreciation on Thyferra in two weeks time,” Kyp noted. It had the added advantage of being the truth. The Dozen didn’t operate on dreams and air. They were one of the premiere squadrons in the galaxy because of the generous donations from the Bacta Cartels on Drue’s home planet.
Yeah, I'm thinkin having your squadron basically run with your girlfriend's planet's money is not such a good idea. ESPECIALLY with the poor rocky relationship Kyp has with Drue.

One way or another he would find Jaina. He had to; Jedi died without the Force.
Save her Kyp, save her. Then go find Jag!

Valin shifted in his chair. “Nothing particular to report. Everyone is fine.”
I was wondering what happened to Keira...I take it this means she's with her mum?

Snatching the disc, Jacen said, “Why does she have to be so stubborn?”
Fee arrived at the front of the room and stood beside Valin. “Is that a rhetorical question, or do you really want an answer?”

Jacen, you dweeb, she's your sister! Your DAD and MOM's DAUGHTER. What do you expect?

He met her piercing blue-eyed stare, then caught his tongue before he snapped back. There was something about Fee that broke down his emotional control. It would do none of them any good, especially not Jaina, if he were to say something ugly and upset the comfortable camaraderie that had formed in their secret cabal.
Yeah, it's cause you're in LOVE WITH HER. Realize it already for heaven's sake T_T

He had the wherewithal and the personal reasons, with Kyta lost to the galaxy as well, to figure out their true purpose.
Ah, so Kyta's with Jaina too. Interesting, VEEEEEEEEEEEERY interesting.

Slapping his palm on his forehead, Jacen exclaimed, “Tahiri’s having her baby!”
Go figure he didn't notice, he IS a guy after all... *shakes head*

Great Post TKL, although I hate waiting so long to know more. Curse you! No, I didn't mean that, please write more, please cry

Love the post!
I must admit (as painful as it may be), I really feel for Kyp. Although he's kind of a jerk, he really cares about Jaina. She may be the only thing he really cares about.
Jacen is, and will always be, a jerk! Sometimes I like the way he's been written in your fics, but in the end he's always a pompous, know-it-all ass.
Just my opinion....
Love the story so far. Keep writing, I'll keep reading. (And TRYING to like both Kyp and Jacen!)
