I definately like Tahiri's evaluation of Anakin Skywalker bringing balance to the force.
Two Jedi+Two Sith=Balance.
Jag and Wyn are going to be so surprised to find out that their sister is alive...
I think that Valin is going to freak out when he reaches the Temple... are you going to have Nejaa Halycon (sp?) alive and at the temple?
Great update... I shall attempt to patiently wait for the next update!

Most of the corellian Jedi stay in their system, sort of like hermits, so I doubt Neeja would be at the temple.
Cherith's death was off page, but how did she die in this fic?

I'm stealing a few minutes to post this, and will not have time to send any PM's. To everyone I normally send them to . . .
Sorry, I'll get them to you next time.
Chapter seven, Mission
Deathdealer, Obi-wan’s room
Anakin had made his way back to the quarters he and Obi-wan had been given. He still didn’t know what to make of the information Jagged Fel had shown him. It was probably doctored. After all, he would know better than anyone if he had destroyed the entire Jedi Order. Still, he had a nagging feeling that Fel believed the information.
Of course, just because Fel believed it didn’t make it true. The arrogant pilot was probably too stubborn to realize that he was operating on false information. Hell, everyone of the ship was probably too messed up to realize that they were operating on false information. He needed to get Obi-wan and leave.
That in mind, he entered the room and spotted a blond girl sitting cross-legged beside Obi-wan. “Who’s she?” he asked in surprise.
The girl stood up quickly, whirling around. “Lieutenant Wyn Fel of the CEDF,” she said with a playful grin. She pushed away her nerves and anxiety over her fragmented family and glanced back over her shoulder at Obi-wan, checking to see if she had disturbed him.
It had been four hours since he’d promised her he’d find out what happened. He had been meditating nearly the entire time, and she hadn’t felt like leaving.
Anakin’s scowl deepened. “Another Fel,” he murmured darkly. He deliberately ignored her and took a seat on the nearest bunk. “Did you find out anything about Padme?” he asked Obi-wan, and then noticed that the older Jedi was meditating.
Wyn flopped on the bed across from him. “He sensed a disturbance in the Force and is meditating on that right now,” she told him, leaving out the promise. This Jedi was certainly a Skywalker, and as such she found him fascinating, but wasn’t sure how she should respond to him. He seemed very volatile and dark.
“I can see that.”
Wyn smiled harmlessly. “I never said that you couldn’t.” She hesitated for a fraction of a second and added, “Did
you
sense a disturbance in the Force?”
“Of course.”
Something in his tone told Wyn that the conversation was over. She sighed and returned to her seat beside Obi-wan, closing her eyes and breathing deeply.
“What are you doing?” Anakin demanded.
“Meditating,” Wyn answered.
“You are not Force-sensitive,” Anakin said stiffly.
Wyn shrugged, not even bothering to contest that point. “No, but I am guy-sensitive, and Master Kenobi looks and smells good.” She opened her eyes, and looked up at Anakin innocently. “He is single, isn’t he?”
Anakin nodded his head. “And he’s going to stay that way. Jedi take an oath to forsake love and attachment.”
“That’s stupid,” Wyn said.
Anakin looked at her, slightly surprised to hear his own thoughts echoed by the young woman. “It’s not,” he said, but without conviction. “It keeps a Jedi free to think objectively and not be ruled by conflicting emotions.”
“You mean it lets you think rationally?” Wyn asked.
He nodded.
She mouth quirked into a grin. “I doubt it.”
Before Anakin could respond, the door opened. “We’ve arrived on Csillia,” a Chiss female said. “Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano has requested an audience.”
Obi-wan stood up. “Thank the Aristocra for us. We will be honored to meet with him.”
**
Deathdealer, Jag’s office
He was in a full dress uniform and standing with rigid straightness. “Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano,” he said, the alien name rolling off his tongue smoothly. He dipped into a polite, formal bow. “I am honored by this communication.”
Honored and baffled.
It wasn’t everyday that a Colonel in the CEDF received a private communication from the head of one of the Nine Families.
Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano smiled grimly, his yellow robes clashing only slightly with his blue Chiss skin. “Colonel Fel I am sure that by this point you have gotten word of the Yuuzhan Vong’s mystery fleet.”
“The revival of the ones we already destroyed?” Jag inquired. “Yes, I had heard about them, although the details I received were scanty at best.”
Chaf’orm’bintrano took a slow breath. “Yes, well, Chiss intelligence is usually more specific than this.” His glowing eyes seemed to gain intensity. “But this time we’re having difficulties. Difficulties that you may be able to assist in taking care of.”
“Aristocra?” Jag asked carefully.
“I am personally placing you in command of a new cloaked shuttle we have developed,” Chaf’orm’bintrano said. “You will fly a mission to Coruscant and get our commandos on the ground.”
Jag felt his eyes widen in shock and quickly reigned in the expression. He wanted to object, but thought better of it. Several good things could come from his trip to Coruscant. One, he might run into Jaina and then he’d get a chance to explain his upcoming wedding. Second, he wouldn’t have to spend any time with Tiffany de Masitre, his fiancé. And Third, he wouldn’t have anything to do with Kenobi and Skywalker. That was one mess that he didn’t want to take part in at all.
“When shall I depart?” he asked in Cheurth.
“Three standard hours from now. I suggest that you get yourself ready.”
**
Csillia, Chiss Defense Fleet base, hallway
“Is there anything in particular that we should keep in mind?” Obi-wan asked Wyn.
The young CEDF officer shook her head. “You probably won’t be able to pronounce any of the Chiss names you hear, but that shouldn’t be a problem. They’ll probably permit you to call them by their Core Names.”
“Why are you with us again?” Anakin demanded.
Obi-wan shot his former padawan a weary look. “I asked Lieutenant Fel to accompany us.”
“Yes, but why?”
“Call it a feeling, but I think that she has a big role to play in the upcoming events”
Wyn looked a bit surprised. “In a good way, I hope,” she said.
“Time will tell,” Obi-wan said. He opened the door and stepped through, bowing politely to the assembled Chiss. “Greetings, I am Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi. And this,” he said gesturing to Anakin, “Is Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker.”
Wyn bowed and than saluted. “Lieutenant Wyn Fel,” she began. “Master Kenobi requested that I act as his escort for this meeting, and Captain Ma’ri’tododo decided that it would be a wise idea.” She dropped to an attention stance, her hand behind her back and her legs to the side.
The lead Chiss, a short man dressed in exquisite yellow robes inclined his head politely. “I am Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano, but you may refer to me by my Core Name; Frombi.”
“It is an honor to meet you Aristocra Frombi.”
Frombi nodded. “What brings you to Chiss space, Master Kenobi?”
“We were fighting over Coruscant when a cosmic disturbance of some sort transported us into the midst of an engagement between the CEDF and alien forces known as the Yuuzhan Vong.”
Frombi’s red eyes narrowed slightly and Anakin suddenly sensed a hint of trickery in the old Chiss. “Then you will no doubt be anxious to return to Coruscant,” he said. “I shall arrange for you to be taken back immediately.”
Obi-wan sensed Wyn’s shock through the Force, but even as she was shifting, Frombi was talking. “Lieutenant Fel will be accompanying you and making sure that you are aware of the situation.”
“Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano,” Wyn began, but hesitated, licking her lips. It wasn’t exactly polite to question the decision of a high ranking Chiss official. Still, wasn’t sending them to Coruscant after the planet had been captured a . . . strange move for him to be making?
Csillia, Fel estate
Wynessa Sunflare Fel crossed her arms and outright glared at her husband. “I have three living children,” she began as he walked through the door. “And it’s bad enough that each and every last one of them is in the military.”
General Baron Soontir Fel sighed. “Syal –“ he began, tone placating.
“Don’t try and talk me down. I don’t understand why all my children have been selected for this crazy drop-off mission on Coruscant –“
“Jagged is going because he’s the best,” Fel said simply. “If anyone can pilot the
Divine Fist
onto Coruscant unnoticed, he can.”
His wife opened her mouth to protest, but he held up one hand. “Cem Flare –“ he began, referring to his son by his assumed last name – “Is going because he’s working with intelligence and he’s the best at what he does.”
“What about Wyn?” Wynessa demanded. “Why’s my baby going?”
To that, General Fel didn’t have an answer.
“And can’t any of them refuse? I heard that this was a volunteer only mission.”
“It is.”
“So why are they going?”
General Fel drew her into his arms. “They know their duty,” he said softly. “They’ll come back alive.”
Wynessa Fel didn’t respond. She wanted to make him promise that they would, but knew that even if he did, it was no guarantee. “What about Jagged’s wedding? Why can’t he wait for that?”
General Fel stiffened.
He’s probably going to get away from that,
he thought, but didn’t say anything more. His wife had arranged the marriage for her son before they had even met. It had been a condition of her escape from her family’s refueling station. And as the Fels only official living son, Jag was honor-bound to honor the contract.
It didn’t matter one bit that the two-bit piece of fluff was more than enough to drive him and a legion of the most reality based Jedi Masters crazy . . . He had to marry her. One way or another.
**
Divine Fist, fifteen minutes after take-off
Tiffany de Maistre knew that she was beautiful. She knew that her strawberry blond hair, peach colored skin, and baby blue eyes were irresistible. She knew that she was tall, with gorgeous legs and large firm breasts. What she wasn’t sure of was whether her three inch spiked heels matched her bright pink flight suit or not.
She posed in front of the mirror, studying the heels and decide that she did look good in them. She decided that Jagged Fel, her fiancé and soon-to-be husband would be unable to resist her in this knock-out outfit.
Blowing herself a quick kiss, she swaggered toward the cockpit of the
Divine Fist
. She imagined that he would be surprised to see her here. Hell, she was surprised to be here. But when her commanding officer had suggested that she volunteer for the 2 % chance of survival mission, she had initially refused like a good, sensible twenty-four year old woman.
Then she’d learned the Colonel Fel would be aboard and well . . . She was from Corellia and really didn’t have much use for the odds. She opened the door and stepped into the cockpit, having a few seconds to watch Jag before he turned.
When she had found out that her parents had arranged a marriage for her, she had thrown a tantrum, screaming and yelling, crying and sobbing. Then she had seen him.
He was absolutely adorable. With a soft, no-nonsense mouth practically begging to be kissed. Stunning green eyes, a sexy body, and silken locks of hair that would
have
to be grown out after the wedding. Oh, and maybe some black hair dye was needed for that lock of white hair . . . she didn’t really approve to that in the slightest bit.
“Jaggie-poo!” she cooed softly, watching him stiffen. So, she mused, just the sound of her voice got him aroused. That was good. It meant that she was making progress. And by the end of the mission, he would be putty in her hands.
Perfect.
For his part, Jag’s heart stopped beating at the sound of her voice and he turned slowly, cringing internally at the brilliant burst of hot pink that the woman was wearing. She strolled forward on three inch heels and flung her arms around him.
“When I heard you were leading a volunteer mission, I just
had
to rush right over here and volunteer,” she cooed before planting a kiss firmly on his mouth. “It’ll give us a wonderful opportunity to get to know each other better.”
Jag pushed her back. “Tiffany,” he said stiffly. “I don’t want –“ he bit his words back.
I don’t want to marry you . . .
, he thought. She didn’t seem to hear him. Instead she launched herself into a vivid description of the wedding dress that she had picked out for their union.
Jag slumped back into the pilot’s chair. He had decided against looking at the personal roster, in favor of having a quick lift-off. He had thought that she wouldn’t be able to find out that he was leaving if he moved fast enough. Clearly he was wrong.
He picked up the datapad containing the crew’s names and scanned it.
Jagged Fel
Wyn Fel
Cem Flare
Shawnkyr Nururdo
Obi-wan Kenobi
Anakin Skywalker
Mit’ur’do Bistro
Tiffany de Maistre
He pinched the bridge of his nose and lifted his comlink to his mouth. “Lieutenant Flare, please report to the cockpit immediately. We need to discuss the roster and make sure you have enough forces to complete your mission.”
He was praying that they needed to go back and exchange a few of the less desirable passengers. Like the Jedi, his sister, and his fiancé . . .
Moments later the door opened. “de Maistre, get out,” Cem Fel-Flare ordered, interrupting her wedding plan reiteration. As soon as she was gone he cast an appraising look over his brother. “You have lipstick all over your face, Colonel,” he by way of greeting. “I certainly hope it’s not a new fashion statement.”
Jag wiped at his mouth angrily. “I hate her,” he seethed.
Cem shrugged. “At least you’re acknowledged as a member of the prestigious Fel family.” He smiled innocently, glad for the first time that he had been named Shadow Child.
“You’re despicable,” Jag said shortly.
Cem shrugged and cleared his throat. “So you wanted to go over the roster?”
“Who do you need to complete your portion of the mission?”
“Myself and Mit’ur’do,” he said. “Aristocra Chaf’orm’bintrano ordered the Jedi and little Wyn to tag along and Shawnkyr and Tiffany and here because of you.”
Jag signed. If the Aristocra wanted these people aboard turning around wouldn’t do any good. Maybe, if he was lucky, he’d loose Tiffany along the way. He heard her cooing again just outside the door and bit back a vile curse.
Maybe the mission would have a decent fatality rate and she would be the first casualty.
Cem left the room and Tiffany returned. She wrapped her arms around his neck. “I love you, Jaggie,” she murmured, shortening her nickname for him. She licked his mouth lightly and then kissed deeply.

RE: Warped (J/J, A/P) *Update March 6* Vong rip fabric of universe (past and EU char.)
Chapter eight, jealousy
She hated meditating when there was a fight to be averted. But the Jedi Master had seemed extremely concerned about her future, and when he had warned her about Falling to the Dark Side, she had felt a final ring of truth to it.
If a few moments of meditation would soothe his fears . . .
If a few moments of meditation could draw her away from darkness . . .
Well, it was worth it.
She drew in a deep breath, stretching out with her feelings. Because he wanted her to quell her anxiety with this meditation, she avoided focusing it on her parents or the Sith or even the war. Instead, she picked a ‘topic’ that always calmed her. Jagged Fel.
She still didn’t know why he was getting married. Maybe she’d gain peace and enlightenment through her meditation. Maybe she’d see something that would make everything make sense.
Yeah, right
a little voice seemed to whisper in her ear.
You’ve never had a vision in your life. And the only truth and enlightenment have come in the heat of battle. They don’t call you the Sword of the Jedi for nothing . . .
It was because of the little, nagging voice that when the images actually came to her mind, she was too shocked to do anything but silently clear her mind of everything except this vision.
She saw Jag standing in the cockpit of a ship she didn’t recognize. He was wearing his crisp black uniform, facing away from her. Then, slowly he turned, green eyes filling with a look that she didn’t recognize. Smeared across his mouth was a cherry red lipstick.
Her heart caught, muscles twitching in her meditation.
Then a woman stepped into view. She was dressed in a bright pink flight suit, but that didn’t seem to bother Jag. He welcomed her into his arms, wrapping them around her. Her tongue flickered across his lips . . .
Jaina watched him open his mouth. Watched as she moved in, deepening the kiss.
“No!” she screamed, jerking back.
Qui-gon was at her side in an instant. “What’s wrong?” he commanded. He could feel conflicting emotions coiling through her narrow frame: anger, sadness, and a growing, bitter envy.
Jaina shook her head numb, her dark eyes wide. Wordlessly her mouth moved, searching for the right thing to say. She could still see an afterimage of Jag and the super-model beautiful woman locking lips. She pushed Qui-gon away, mouth twisting bitterly.
“It’s . . . nothing,” she said, voice strained.
Qui-gon hesitated, but Cody, who had come at her shout took her word for it. “Very well, we have the location of the Imperial Headquarters. Will you both be going?”
Jaina looked at Qui-gon. “I’m going with you,” she said. “And . . . I’ll be fine. Eventually.”
Qui-gon didn’t look convinced.
“I’ll tell you what I saw . . . after we have the situation neutralized here.”
“I’ll hold you to it,” Qui-gon said. “We’ll be leaving immediately.”
Death Star, Level 5 Detention Block AA-23
As the turbo-lift came to a stop, Chewie stepped off fully anticipating Han having already peppered the room with blaster fire. To his surprise, the room was operating quietly, a couple of detention officers calmly carrying out their duties.
As Chewie stepped off the turbolift their eyes widened in surprise. One of them reached for his blaster, and Chewie bit back a curse. If Han wasn’t here, where the hell was he? He opened fire, striking the closest detention officer in the chest. Quickly he fired upon the other ones, their own shots thankfully going wide.
This was not good. Chewie spent a moment cursing his luck. Then, since he was here anyway, he headed toward the detention block where the Princess was. He had no doubt that things were about to get really interesting, and having more hands firing guns would be in his best interest.
Naboo, space
The Vong fleet came out of dark space over the planet. At the helm of the
Fury of Blood
Non Aura stood with his hands behind his back. If the reports were anywhere near accurate, the female Jedi twin was here. And the honor he would gain from capturing her would be a perfect addition to his already burgeoning reputation.
“Full attack,” he ordered. “Bring the
jeedai
to me alive.”
Naboo, Clonetrooper Headquarters
“We have an unknown fleet dropping out of hyperspace,” Commander Cody announced, halting Jaina and Qui-gon’s departure. “Lieutenant Solo, you may want to have a look at this.”
Jaina hurried back to the consul, looking at the display module. “Stang!” she said sharply. “That’s a Vong fleet.” All thoughts of jealousy and Jag vanished. All thoughts of talking to the Imperials were gone.
“Shall I order my forces to attack?” Cody asked. “We have a single Dreadnaught, three light assault cruisers and –“
“Are you still engaging the Imperials in combat?” Jaina interrupted.
“The Imperials and the CIS,” Cody confirmed.
“You can’t have a four way battle in space.” Her eyes racked over the display. “If you can, set up an evacuation corridor. Things are going to get ugly real fast.”
“We can’t set up the evacuation corridor,” Cody said firmly. “The Seperatists droid blockade will not allow anything past.”
Jaina let out a string of vile curses. “We need to get everyone ready for the Vong invasion fleet –“
“We’re getting a com call from them,” Cody announced.
Jaina stepped out of view. “Take it.”
The image of a Vong appeared, his eyes sunken into his head and scars decorating his nearly naked body. “Citizens of the New Republic,” he said, his voice nasally due to his multiple times broken nose. “If you wish for your planet to survive, you will surrender the
jeedai Solo
. If you do so, we will leave you in peace.”
The message repeated.
“It’s on a general frequency. Everyone on the planet is getting this message,” Cody announced.
Jaina took a deep breath, uncertainty at Cody’s plans worming through her. “He won’t leave the planet in peace. If anything he’ll leave it in pieces.”
Commander Cody gave her a sharp look. “Lieutenant Solo the Grand Army of the Republic does not give in to threats. If you fear that we will turn you over, your fears are ill-conceived. We clones would no more harm the Jedi than we would destroy the Republic. Rest assured about that.”
“I sense malice and ill-will from these invaders,” Qui-gon announced. “They mean everyone on this planet harm.”
“You can sense them?” Jaina asked before she could stop herself.
“Of course,” Qui-gon said. “They exist in the Living Force as well as every other being in the universe.” Then, remembering what she had said about them existing outside the Force, he added, “Your inability to sense them most likely comes from the fact that your training in the arts of the Jedi are far from complete. You must attune yourself with the Living Force. Concentrate on the here and now, if you will.”
Jaina shook her head, pushing
that
particular mystery away. She needed to focus on the upcoming battle. Because it was a battle. And unlike her fight with the Sith, it was one that she was somewhat prepared to deal with.
“We need to consolidate the forces over Naboo. A coalition is needed now more than ever,” she said.
“I shall proceed with the plan to contact the Imperials,” Qui-gon said simply.
“What about the CIS – Trade Federation?” Jaina asked.
“Their leader is a Nemodian. Considering the threat these Vong present, he may be willing to suspend his battle plans.” Qui-gon shrugged. “But then again, perhaps not. Let’s go.”
Jaina shook her head. “Sorry, you’re going to have to take this mission alone. The Vong weapons are difficult to defeat. I need to give Commander Cody some pointers so that when the fight actually starts he’ll be able to utilize every weakness they have.”
Qui-gon nodded. “Very well, Jedi Solo. May the Force be with you.”
“May the Force be with you,” Jaina repeated. She watched him leave and then turned back to Cody. “All right, the first thing you need to know . . .”

Death Star, Level 5 Detention block AA-23
Leia and Padme were talking. The topic was history. In politically gentle terms, Leia was explaining the Clone Wars and the rise of the Galactic Empire. With nothing but time on her hands, her explanation was complete and unrushed.
Then the door opened and a blaster rifle was being thrown at her. Caught off guard, Leia reached for the weapon only to find Padme holding it. “What’s going on?” she asked Chewie sharply.
The wookie roared something that she didn’t catch and gestured impatiently for her to follow him. Leia – who understood Shyriiwook – quickly translated. “He’s here to rescue us – sorta.” She paused, the familiar fur pattern slowly clicking in her mind. “Chewie?”
“<Hurry up!>” Chewie roared, wondering briefly how this human he had never met before knew his name.
Even though she didn’t understand the exact words, Padme knew enough to realize that time was short. “Come on, Leia. Let’s find your husband and get out of here.”
Leia pushed aside her confusion. “He’s one cell over,” she said.
By now there were Imperials firing at them from the entranceway to the Detention Hall. Padme flattened herself against a wall and started firing evenly. Chewie slammed himself against the wall on the other side, peppering the stormtroopers with fire as well.
Leia opened the door to Han’s cell. “Get up, Han!” she said. While Han was getting to her feet, she reached out with the Force, grabbing a hold of a fallen blaster rifle and pulling it down the hall. It landed neatly in her hand and she tossed it to Han. Then she got herself a weapon.
“Some rescue,” Han muttered darkly, having flashbacks to his last visit to the Detention Block on a Death Star. “Let’s not jump down any –“
“Come on!” Padme shouted. She blasted open the metal grating covering the garbage chute, and without hesitation, crossed the hall, firing her blaster.
“No wait!” Leia shouted.
But it was too late, the Queen of Naboo had no plans of being recaptured or being shot and killed in the Detention Block. She saw the garbage chute as a good way to escape. Nothing more. Nothing less.
Chewie seemed to agree. He was completely confused about Han at the moment. His friend – the man he owed his life-debt too – was acting strange. And he looked strange. Older or something like that. But that didn’t matter. Grabbing Han by his belt, Chewie tossed him into the garbage chute.
“<Come on!>” he growled at Leia. Then he dove in.
Restraining a sigh, Leia followed.
Naboo, palace
She had told Cody what she could. Now she needed to get Naboo’s planetary defenses up to speed, and the best way to do that would be to talk to the Queen. The place to do that was in the palace.
Running down a corridor, a blaster pistol at her hip, she heard a rolling sound. Looking around, she watched as three droids unfurled, aiming their weapons at her. The faint bluish haze of a shield sprang up seconds later.
“Queen Amidala, I have captured you!” a watery voice declared in delight. “Now we will discuss the treaty I desire.”
“Who are you?” Jaina asked. “And who’s Queen Amidala?”
The nemodian glared at her. “You cannot fool me. I am on to your schemes. Drop your weapon and –“
Jaina dropped her weapon, eyes locked on the alien. “Are you the leader of the Trade Federation?”
“I am Viceroy Nute -”
Jaina hesitated. This had the potential to be a good or bad situation. If she could convince the Viceroy to attack the Vong instead of the Imperials and Clones it would be good. If not, well, getting captured was always bad.
Put your hands on your head,” a spindly battle droid ordered. Then, at that moment, a group of burgundy clad men – security from the looks of it – barreled down the corridor.
Jaina locked eyes with a dark eyed woman who looked nearly exactly like her. Except her hair was twisted up in an elaborate style that was more traditional of her mother. And she was wearing an intricate battle dress.
The woman – young woman’s eyes widened – when she seen Jaina. “We’ll discuss a new treaty,” she said and fired a shot at the Nemodian.
Run!
her eyes seemed to say to Jaina.
But Jaina had a different plan. With a Force-aided leap, she landed behind the Viceroy, calling her blaster to her hand with the Force. “Call your droids off,” she ordered, pressing the gun to his neck.
“Stop. Don’t fire!” Gunray ordered. The droids lowered their weapons, and the security forces got closer.
“Nice jump, majesty,” the young woman said.

Woops, the handmaiden missed by two generations. When is this in NJO anyway? Jacen seems suspiciously absent.
