“Looks like someone’s going to need a cold shower after the show,” Leia muttered as the ladies in the room nodded in agreement.
“I wonder if she’d be willing to share...” Wes’ eyes seemed to glaze over with the thought of it, until Han smacked him upside the head.
“My children are asleep in the next room,” he said roughly, but with a smile on his face. “Please keep my home free of your impure thoughts.”
 You may be desperate, Wes, but that's no need to go for another man's wife.
“My hair is not that colour,” Mara grumbled quietly. “And I seriously only wore that outfit once – and it was for a mission! One snap-happy reporters takes my holo and suddenly I’m some leather-obsessed woman on the prowl!”
Mara is quite catlike. I love how Lando was answering questions without realizing what he was being interviewed for!
“What?” Lando held up his hands in protest. “That’s what the public likes – a bit of mystery! People will be talking about this for ages now!”
“And that’s a good thing?” Mara asked. “I only just had people stop asking me about that.” She threw Luke a telling look.
“No such thing as bad publicity,” Lando said knowingly.
No, there definitely is...
“Of course it’s her real hair color,” Luke answered, looking sideways at Mara to gauge her reaction to the question.
But Mara was looking at Wes as he heaved a put-upon sigh and reached into his pocket, withdrawing a credchip and stretching out in his seat to hand it to Wedge.
Nervous laughter and an uneasy silence followed the action, all eyes in the room turning to Mara in trepidation.
Her eyes narrowed dangerously at Wedge and Wes. “Anything ELSE of mine you two think might not be genuine?”
I could see all of this happening, in a strange kind of way. You two have their personalities right on!  I look forward to finding out who the top two are!

“Maybe they’re just all dead, Wes,” Mara shot back.
So many good lines in this! Loved it, loved it, loved it! But I can't believe you're making us wait MORE for the Top 2. Although I can understand...I suppose.
I have plenty of ideas who the Top 2 are.  Please don't leave us hanging for long!

Very nice dialog. I love the fact that more than one guy had a picture of Mara as their screensaver! LOL.
I wonder what Mara would have done if she found a photo of her in Luke's cockpit pre VOTF?
That would be interesting.

very, very nice. have no clue how i managed to miss the update before this, but both have been amazingly well done. as has the whole thing in all honesty.
loved the mew mew commander in 7, and how flustered wedge and iella were over that. oh what shows of that nature bring out in groups like that.
looking forward to the last two. i figure i know who number one is *glances at the name the co-authors chose* but the other one... no clue.

Love love loved the way Mara owned the room, and Lando was perpetually hilarious. This was a great job as usual, ladies. it took me forever to read it all what with all the time spent laughing too hard to see the screen. So very looking forward to the final two!

Hi, ladies!
So sorry for the late reply. Anywho- wonderful update! I missed this story and it's great to see you're both continuing with it. As always there's much to love in your ensemble. I really enjoyed Mara and Luke (of course), as well as everyone's reactions to Mara and Wedge's standings. But I think the part that gave me the most "kicks" were the groupies. Hil-ar-ious!
