Hmm... was it that bad?
SSM12-Thanks! It's sorta random, but important to the plot.
baf-Yeah, woman power! I like making sure the women are powerful in my fics. And glad you like Sarji, too. She's a bit of a favorite for me.
Hope more post...
Here we go!
*****
Shada and Mirax were already there in the pilot and co-pilot‘s chair, respectively. Corsec sat in the seat behind his wife and checked the scanners. He let out a sound of disbelief as he saw what ship was after the Saber. “An interdictor cruiser? Where’d they dig that old ship out of?”
Out in space, a dagger-shaped cruiser dogged the Saber. Emerald-colored turbolasers shot out from gun turrets while TIE interceptors attacked the sleek, gray-hulled Saber.
Mirax targeted the fighters with the aft weapon turrets and fired, blowing several fighters up. Still, the fighters swarmed around fired near-constant streams of plasma from their laser cannons.
Shada sent the ship into a spiraling dive, away from the interdictor. “Our shields are weakening,” she said even as the hull shuddered. “I doubt we’ll be able to keep this up.”
Sarji, who stood in the rear, spoke up. “Wait, I’ve got an idea.” Four sets of eyes turned to the young girl, and she tamped down a flash of nervousness. Sarji cleared her throat and explained her idea. Tionne’s silvery eyes narrowed a bit, but when Shada nodded her approval, the other three decided to go along with it, to Sarji‘s delight.
The Mistryl shadow guard activated the com and contacted the interdictor. “Pirate vessel, we surrender. I repeat, we surrender.”
The TIEs formed up in a loose formation around the Saber while the interdictor cruiser’s engines flared for a moment, sending the 600-meter long ship into a shallow dive. A whitish beam shot out from the landing bay and enveloped the gray-hulled cruiser, pulling it up and into the landing bay.
The TIEs followed, each one using their repulsorlift engines and maneuvering thrusters to hook up with loading racks hanging from the ceiling. The main doors slowly closed and vents along the walls opened, re-pressurizing the bay. After a few minutes, fifty heavily armed pirates entered, blaster rifles and rail detonators at the ready. Most were human, but there were a few Twi’leks and even two Wookiees there.
The leader, a human male who was larger than some starfighters, cracked his knuckles and shouted up at the main hatch of the Saber. “Come out with empty hands or we’ll empty our clips into your hides!”
The main hatch slid open and the landing ramp extended down. Two young ladies stepped down with their hands in the air, Tionne and Sarji-or rather, Sailors Yavin and Bastion. “Sorry, boys, but we don’t take kindly to threats,” Yavin announced. Her hands twitched as she shouted, “Chain of Annihilation!”
The leader roared and unholstered his blaster pistol. “Don’t just stand there, open fire!”
Yavin’s chains shot out and wound around a parked TIE fighter. She concentrated and tugged, using the Force to enhance her strength and guide the small fighter. Even while the pirates brought their weapons to bear, the clamps holding the TIE fighter up on the ceiling tore with a horrific screech. The entire fighter ripped off, taking with it a good ten meters of catwalk and crashing to the deck plating below.
The pirates scattered from the crash, allowing Yavin and Bastion to leap from the ramp and land in their midst. The Senshi of the Empire cupped her hands together and shouted, “Imperial Starburst!” A ball of energy formed in her hands and she threw it, sending it flying at the nearest group of pirates. It exploded in midair and showered the area with energy beams. A half-dozen pirates were killed instantly. And large holes were torn in the deck plating.
Back at the Saber, Corran, Mirax and Shada exited with drawn blaster pistols and lightsabers. Although the initial attack left some of the pirates in disarray, the leader was already rallying most of them around him. “Kill those on the ship! We’ll take care of the freaks later.”
The first pirates aimed their blaster rifles at the trio. Corran activated his lightsaber and got in front of his wife and friend. “Stay behind me!” he shouted.
Mirax suddenly grabbed him by the collar and jumped to the side-mere seconds before dozens of blood-red blaster bolts and azure stun blasts ripped into the space they just occupied.
Shada followed a second too late and caught a bolt right to her right leg. The Mistryl tumbled to the floor and landed rather awkwardly, but she bit her lip and let out no cry of pain.
Corran turned and looked at Shada. “Shada!” he shouted.
The raven-haired warrior bit down harder on her lip, but her face turned a lovely shade of red. Corran immediately kipped to his feet and held out his lightsaber again, deflecting several incoming bolts. Mirax knelt behind her husband and began shooting at the pirates, all the while her eyes scanning the hangar bay. Sailor Yavin was pinned down, her chains caught and tangled up in the very wreckage she brought down. Bastion was covering her, but both were being shot at from pirates who were hiding behind cargo containers or star fighters.
And here she was with an injured friend and a husband who couldn’t get out of defensive mode. Her blaster pistol was keeping the pirates jumping, but it wasn’t enough. I need more, damn it!
A sudden rush of indescribable power shot through her body, making her toes curl and her hair stand on end. Mirax dropped her blaster to the ground and clutched her head. “What’s… happening to… me?”
Corran glanced back at his wife as he felt something very familiar from his wife. “Mirax, you have the powers of a Sailor Senshi!”
The smuggler’s brown eyes shot up and locked with her husband’s. “Great, so what do I do now?”
In the middle tossing another Imperial Starburst, Bastion looked over and yelled, “Shout out the name of the planet or place you most identify with, followed by the phrase ‘Power Makeup’!” A blaster bolt shot by her head, causing her to let out a yelp. “And hurry!”
Mirax’s right hand contracted into a claw. She concentrated and an ornate wand formed in it. Her mind instantly locked onto the one place where she felt at home, at peace. She stood up, held the transformation wand high and shouted, “Errant Venture Power Makeup!”
A reddish liquid swirled around Mirax, changing her flight suit into a Sailor Fuku, complete with a bright red bow and matching miniskirt. Matching sandals and elbow-length gloves completed the ensemble. Where Mirax Terrik-Horn was, Sailor Errant Venture now stood. She thrust her arm out and shouted, “Hammertong!”
The tips of Errant Venture’s gloves glowed green and a small energy beam shot out from each one. They met a few centimeters from the palm of her hand and coalesced into a larger beam, hitting the wreckage pinning Yavin’s chains and melting right through.
The Senshi of knowledge retracted the silvery chains a bit and then whipped them around, hitting every single pirate within range and knocking them unconscious to the ground.
Corran took that opportunity to reach into his jacket and pull out a rose with forest-green petals. His clothes morphed into a tuxedo, complete with cape, top hat, cane and white mask over his green eyes. “I am Tuxedo Corsec,” he breathed out. His hand blurred, and every blaster rifle and pistol was impaled by the infinitely-sharp stem of one of his roses.
Errant Venture stepped forth, hands on her hips. “You are defeated, evil ones! Surrender, or we’ll punish you!”
The leader of the pirates slowly got to his feet, hands in the air. Everyone else complied with her command, ending the battle as quickly as it had begun.
Chapter Three: Going Home
Two weeks later
The Jade Saber set out once more from Bastion. After the pirates surrendered, Sarji pointed out that they couldn’t simply be left with a fully-functional Interdictor-class cruiser. “Think of all the harm they’d do to shipping!” she shouted.
Tionne couldn’t really argue with her, so they flew the ship back to the Imperial capital. After paperwork and a short medal ceremony where Tionne was awarded the Imperial Medal of Valor while Corran picked up a citation, the Saber was back on its way to Arkania.
Mirax sat in the cockpit one morning, monitoring the hyperdrive. Corran entered and sat next to her, a rose in his hand. “So, how does it feel?” he asked, a sneaky grin on his face.
Mirax shrugged. “It’s odd, you know? The first thought I had was ‘why did I use the Errant Venture as my special place?’ The next was to simply fight and defend my friends.” An odd smile played at the corner of her lips. “It’s still a bit overwhelming, but one thing’s for sure.” Her arm snaked out and a hand rested on Corran’s shoulder. “At least we’ll be together.”
The reversion alarm sounded, alerting both of them. Corran felt a bit of anxiety from the main cabin, as well as someone else approaching the cockpit.
Shada stepped in and looked over Corran’s shoulder. “Tionne is staying in the main cabin with Sarji. She’s worried that she’d go a bit… ‘weird’.”
Both Corran and Mirax couldn’t help but laugh at that. The Jedi Master pulled down a lever in the middle of his console, sending the Saber out of hyperspace with a flash of croneau radiation. The reddish smear of hyperspace broke into millions of white lines before each line shortened into a pinprick of light.
Mirax scanned local space whistled slowly. “Sure is lonely out there,” she observed. Only about thirty ships orbited the planet. Two small space stations hung in space, both together barely the size of one in orbit around Ord Mantell. A light flashed on the console and Mirax opened the com channel. “This is the freighter Fire Walker, requesting landing clearance.”
A haughty, cultured voice came through. “Follow the landing beacon, Fire Walker.”
Corran waited until the channel closed before speaking. “They don’t think highly of us, do they?”
Shada sneered. “Most Arkanians believe offworlders to be little above rats on the evolutionary scale.” Her gray eyes looked out the main viewport and at Arkania. An immense mountain range cut across the middle of the central continent, glittering in the morning light. Her mouth dropped open when she realized that it was one huge crystal, thrusting out of the ground. “Amazing,” she muttered.
In the main cabin, Tionne sat and rocked in her seat. Sarji felt her excitement building. “Are you okay?” she asked, trepidation in her voice.
Tionne nodded, her lips pursed. The younger Senshi nodded and sat back, the Saber trembling around them as it shot through the atmosphere, deflector shields glowing red-hot.
Mirax’s steady hand guided the Saber down to the planet’s largest space port. She let out a small gasp when she saw it. “That could fit inside the Errant Venture!”
Indeed, the largest space port on Arkania consisted of a large domelike structure and several dozen asphalt landing pads. And half of those pads were empty.
The Saber touched down on the farthest one from the main building. Mirax and Corran secured the cruiser before they, along with Shada, went to the main cabin. They found Tionne and Sarji already at the main hatch. “A bit anxious?” Mirax joked.
Tionne turned her head, long silvery hair trailing behind. “I am, Mirax. I am.”
The smuggler nodded and pressed a few buttons on the hatch’s control panel. The hatch slid open and the main ramp slid out.
The Senshi of knowledge stepped down and half-ran to the ground of… home? She glanced around and sniffed the air. “It smells sterile,” she said, wrinkling her nose.
Corran trotted down and joined her at the bottom. His danger sense gave off low level vibes, but nothing definite. “We must be cautious,” he observed, cloak stirring in the breeze.
*****
The alarm sounded, waking the scientist from his slumber. He stood up and cracked his back several times, hearing the popping sound of his joints settling back into place. Again, he had fallen asleep at his workstation. His solid-white eyes looked about while clawed, four-fingered hands danced across the controls. The alarm sounding out could only mean one thing-she had returned.
The scientist congratulated himself on the cleverness of the homing beacon sitting in his daughter’s left rear molar. All it really did was reflect back timed pulses sent out at irregular intervals. There was no mechanism to detect simply because there was no mechanism.
He timed how long it took for the pulses to return and found her on Arkania itself! She had found her way back! The scientist pressed some more controls on his main console, summoning his minions. After so long, the experiment would be over. After so long, he could finally kill that worthless daughter of his.
*****
Three hours later
Tionne looked about, not sure if she was being watched or it was simply her imagination in overdrive. After the nerf wool was offloaded, she and Shada went out to the city. She wasn’t sure where to look, or even what to look for. The two women walked down an empty street, Tionne casting her senses about and hoping to latch onto something-anything that would give her a clue on where to go.
Shada‘s instincts allowed her to pick up on her new friend‘s distress and she spoke. “Is there anything you wish to share?”
The Jedi Master stopped and let her shoulders sag a bit. “I don’t know if this really is the right thing for me to do, Shada.” She looked at the warrior with pleading eyes. “I don’t know if I want to find out what happened before Exis Station.”
Shada sighed. “Tionne, we are now on the planet Setsuna told you of before dying. We have traveled across Known Space, encountered an unknown Senshi, Mirax and Corran have gained immense powers and you’re getting cold feet?”
Tionne let out a nervous laugh and scratched the back of her head. “Well, if you put it that way-” She stopped, her silvery eyes darting about and her senses extending. “We are not alone. I sense… droids, over there.” She pointed over her shoulder at a dark alley.
Shada’s gray eyes darted in that direction for a moment and made out several spherical shadows. Her hands casually trailed down to the heavy blaster pistols slung at her hip. The Mistryl suddenly shoved Tionne down and whipped out both blasters while shouting, “Get down!”
Three metallic spheres rolled out of the alley and down the street, eventually unfolding into metallic beasts. They stood on three legs extending from a bulbous central power core. Arms ending in double-blasters and a head studded with sensors rose from the central core. The droidekas, ancient machines from the Clone Wars, opened fire.
Tionne gasped. “Droidekas? DROIDEKAS?? Where the hell did they come from!” One fired off rapid bursts of standard blaster bolts, while the other pumped out stun bolts.
Shada dropped to a kneeling position and fired off a few rounds, but a bolt caught her in the abdomen, pitching her back and causing her to drop her pistol. Tionne summoned her transformation wand, but several dozen stun bolts hit her and dropped her to the duracrete ground, sending her into convulsions.
Two more droids emerged from the shadows. They clanked over to the twitching and shaking Tionne and grabbed her by the arms and legs, lifting her off the ground. While they shuffled off, the droidekas folded back into their ball form and rolled off.
Shada’s head slowly rose from the ground where she landed. Even with full-body armor, some of the plasma was able to leak through and burn her abdomen. She clutched at the wound and, gritting her teeth in pain, ratcheted herself to a sitting position. She unclipped a comlink from her belt and held it to her mouth. “Corran, Mirax, Shada here. Got jumped in town by, get this, droidekas. Tionne was captured by… someone. And I’ve got a wound.”
She let a rare smile cross her lips while Mirax and Corran’s frantic pleas came over the speaker grille. “Home in on my signal. And be careful.” And with that, her head slumped down and the comlink tumbled from her outstretched hand, landing on the pavement below.
*****
Tionne’s eyes slowly opened and the world swam into focus. She tried moving her right arm to rub her eyes, but quickly found her wrists chafing against metal clamps. A strangled cry rose from her lips. “Where am I? What happened?” She felt cool air on her body and realized that her dress and shoes were gone. She was covered for modesty‘s sake, but she still felt exposed and vulnerable.
She looked around and saw an old man writing on a piece of paper at a wooden desk. “Ah, you’re awake.” he said. The Arkanian stood, turned and walked over to her. “Your constitution is amazing. I’m surprised you’re awake after receiving thirty-two stun bolts in the space of five seconds.”
He leaned over and grabbed Tionne’s head. She screamed, but he paid her no mind as he pried her left eye open and shone a light into it. “Dilation is good. You have excellent vision.”
Tionne bit back several choice curses taught to her by Mara and Mirax. The scientist rolled his eyes-no small feat for an Arkanian-and then grabbed Tionne’s arm. He pressed several pressure points on it and observed the muscles tensing underneath her skin. “Your muscle definition is quite good, for someone of such limited Force potential.”
Tionne gritted her teeth. “Who are you? What is this place?”
The scientist sighed. “I did too good of a job wiping your memory, it seems.” He placed a four-clawed hand on his chest. “I am Norrick, your ‘father’ in the sense that I raised you and your sisters.” A sick grin crossed his face. “Perhaps you’d like to meet them?” He stepped on a lever protruding from one of the table’s legs. The entire durasteel slab rotated to a vertical position, allowing Tionne to see five glassine cylinders across the room.
Each one was large enough to hold a standard humanoid-and three of them did. One was a small girl. The next was mid-teen and the third looked to be about the same age as Tionne when she met Luke. Her silvery eyes widened in horror. “What-what-what,” she stammered.
Norrick walked over to them and tapped one of the empty cylinders. “I adopted you five sisters when you were quite young. You see, I needed non-Force sensitive people for the experiment.” He walked over and caressed Tionne’s cheek, causing her to retch. “Your three younger sisters were failures, driven insane by the experimentation. You, however, gained some modicum of Force talent. Therefore, I put you on Exis Station when that Skywalker whelp was scouring the galaxy.” He shook his head. “Your powers never fully developed. I suspect Skywalker made you a Jedi Master more out of pity.”
Tionne found her voice. “What about the fifth?” she croaked.
Norrick smirked. “Ah, she was the crowning achievement. Her power rivals Anakin Skywalker.” He turned and looked up at an approaching humanoid. “Ah, there she is now.”
A woman walked up to Tionne, looking achingly familiar yet utterly foreign. Her skin was pale and flawless, her golden eyes large and exotic. Her long hair trailed behind like a comet’s tail. She was physically superior to Tionne in every way.
Norrick grinned and motioned to her. “Tionne, meet Tionn’a, the new and improved model.”
All Tionne could think as she saw this Tionn’a was, Corran, Sarji, if either one of you can hear me, get me the hell out of here now!
*****
Shada’s eyes opened slowly. She abruptly sat up-and doubled over in pain. A short cry escaped her lips and her face contorted a bit. “What-what happened?” she barked.
Tuxedo Corsec placed a hand on her shoulder. “It’s all right, Shada. We’re here.”
The Mistryl kipped up to her feet. “Some droidekas shot out of an alley, shot me and stunned Tionne. We have to find her!” She suddenly touched her abdomen. “And why am I not bleeding internally?”
Corsec blew on his gloved fingers. “Ah, the wonders of the Guardian-enhanced healing trance. I was a bit surprised myself.”
Sailor Errant Venture rolled her eyes and promptly smacked her husband on the back of his head.
Shada looked about and oriented her self. “They went that way,” she said, pointing to the alley. She ran off, boots clicking on the pavement as Corsec, Errant Venture and Sailor Bastion followed her. She entered the dark corridor and dashed down, looking about. There were no doors, windows or anything. She grunted and punched a wall. “This is ridiculous!”
Corsec’s green eyes looked down to the end of the alley. Instead of a dead end, it opened onto an empty field. Several pipes stuck out of the dirt at seemingly random angles. “I think I know where they took her,” he uttered.
He looked about and picked up a small rock. With a casual toss, he sent it flying off in the direction of the pipes. All of them swiveled and tracked the rock as it sailed by. “They’re cameras,” he said. “The entrance is around here somewhere.” His hand ducked into his cape and, when it emerged, he held a fistful of roses. “Sarji, can you see and irregular patches of ground or seemingly random piles of junk?”
The Senshi of the Empire glanced around before pointing to a pile of metal panels. “That couldn’t be anymore obvious,” she said.
Corsec grinned. “Well, time for our mystery kidnapper to pay the price.” His face took on a hard look. “Tionne helped me out back during the beginning days of the Academy. I won’t forgive anyone who harms her!” His cheeks suddenly flushed beet-red. “Do we always have to do such corny speeches?” he asked Bastion.
The teen shrugged. “You get used to them. I remember reading about Mara Jade Skywalker and how she got somewhat used to it.”
Corsec’s green eyes rolled a bit behind the white mask. He turned back and targeted the opening of each pipe. “Keep your eyes on the roses,” he joked. His gloved hand suddenly blurred, and roses seemed to sprout from hidden camera lenses in each pipe opening.
Shada looked about. “They must know we’re here by now.”
Errant Venture nodded. “Well, let’s get moving! Stay alert, everyone!” The quartet dashed across the field to the stack of metal panels.
Bastion cupped her hands together and concentrated. A ball of yellowish plasma energy formed in her hands as she shouted, “Imperial Starburst!” The sphere hit the stack and exploded, disintegrating the flimsy panels and revealing a hidden staircase.
Corsec reached out with his senses and scanned down. He could feel danger and pain down there… and he also felt Tionne.
Before he could speak, Bastion rushed by him. She suddenly stopped and looked up at Shada, Errant Venture and Corsec. “Well, what are you waiting for? Tionne needs our help!”
Shada’s mouth formed a grim line on her beautiful-yet-hard face. She upholstered both heavy blaster pistols and held them at the ready. “Let’s go be heroes,” she said.

Norrick's just creepy. Just plain creepy.
“Let’s go be heroes,” she said.

Sorry, sorry! It's been crazy busy at work! ^_^;;;
Post 3/9: Corran looked about, his old Corsec instincts coming into play. His green eyes noted several kiosks lining the street that practically screamed ‘smuggling front’. He itched to whip out his lightsaber and break up a spice ring or two, but he couldn’t.
*sigh* You can take the Jedi out of CorSec, but you can't take the CorSec out of the Jedi...
Corran made a face and looked at his hand. He shook it a few times and shrugged.
Is it broken?!
The thugs gasped, but their confusion didn’t last long. “She’s one of them soldiers! Kill them!” the leader shouted, bringing his rifle to bear. The rest followed suit and the air was filled with the clicking of blaster safeties being turned off.
Well, Mirax wins that bet.
Yavin cried out as over a dozen stun bolts hit her, knocking her back against the bar and sending her body into convulsions.
Ohhh. Not good! That just can't be good for your body...
“This is a place of rest and a place to drink. How dare you sully it with your violence!” he announced, pointing at the leader dramatically. “In the name of Statute 22-alpha of the New Republic penal code, I am placing you under-”
*dies laughing* I LOOOOVE THAT! Hands down my favorite male power-up!
~Mirax looked around the room and sighed, letting her head drop a bit. “Honestly, Corran. I can’t take you anywhere!”
~Tuxedo Corsec sighed. “But honey, they started it!”
*snicker*
He reached into his robe and pulled out a one-meter long pole. It was black with a green stripe separating the curved handle from the rest of the shaft. “From what I understand, each Tuxedo Guardian’s cane is different. Jacen’s has a dragon’s head as the handle and Luke’s resembles a lightsaber.”
Oooooh! I didn't remember that! Uber-coolness! (So what are everyone else's?!?)
~Mirax reached out and gently took the cane from her husband. “So, will you love me even when I’m old and gray?” she asked. There was a light tone to her voice, but Corran didn’t need Jedi senses to detect the pain beneath...
~Corran shifted his weight around and leaned back on his arms. “Mirax, I was being serious. I will always love you.” He let out a sigh. “I wonder if I could give up these powers and immortality, you know?”
Awww. *sniff* So sweet. Not that it'll be necessary, thankfully! ^_^
She thought Ord Mantell was a busy space port, but it was nothing compared to the capital of the Imperial Remnant. Thousands-tens of thousands-of ships orbited the planet. Ord Mantell had six space stations total. Bastion had three hundred for commerce alone, not to mention spacedocks for repair and massive Golan Arms battle stations. Imperial-class star destroyers, Strike-class cruisers, Carrack-class cruisers, dreadnaughts and dozens of other ship classes orbited the planet while TIE defenders flew in precision formation. It was, to say the very least, impressive.
O_o Whoa.
Shada’s gray eyes took in the manicured gardens and fountains. “Nice place,” she grunted.
Nice understatement.
Aww! Sarji and her dad are so cute!
Post 3/16 :Hmm... was it that bad?
*thwacks Striker upside the head* Now now! No feeling sorry! It's Easter and I'm sure a lot of folks are busy! Buck up, we're here! ^_^
Woo! Intense fight, Striker! Good job!
A sudden rush of indescribable power shot through her body, making her toes curl and her hair stand on end. Mirax dropped her blaster to the ground and clutched her head. “What’s… happening to… me?”
Yay!!!! She and CorSec get to stay together![/singsong]
She thrust her arm out and shouted, “Hammertong!”
*snort* *Jaded_Girl buries her head in her arms...* It's an awesome attack, Striker. It really is. Visually stunning.
The leader of the pirates slowly got to his feet, hands in the air. Everyone else complied with her command, ending the battle as quickly as it had begun.
I don't quite know what Sarji's plan was, but unless it was to find themselves in such a dire situation that Mirax would be forced to transform, it didn't really work.
After paperwork and a short medal ceremony where Tionne was awarded the Imperial Medal of Valor while Corran picked up a citation, the Saber was back on its way to Arkania.
Wh- why did Corran pick up a citation?! Was the Fire Walker double parked?!
An immense mountain range cut across the middle of the central continent, glittering in the morning light. Her mouth dropped open when she realized that it was one huge crystal, thrusting out of the ground.
Ooh! Pretty! (But I bet it's hard to climb...)
After so long, the experiment would be over. After so long, he could finally kill that worthless daughter of his.
...... Well no WONDER she didn't come home!
Tionne summoned her transformation wand, but several dozen stun bolts hit her and dropped her to the duracrete ground, sending her into convulsions.
Geez, again?! She can't catch a break!
Tionne bit back several choice curses taught to her by Mara and Mirax.
*nod, nod* They're the ones to go to.
“Your muscle definition is quite good, for someone of such limited Force potential.”
Jerk.
Corsec blew on his gloved fingers. “Ah, the wonders of the Guardian-enhanced healing trance. I was a bit surprised myself.”
He's cute, but especially when paired with Mirax!
“Let’s go be heroes,” she said.
Couldn't have said it better! ^_^ Go rescue Tionne from her [donkey hollow] of a foster father and her possibly evil sister! *waves little Japan fans*
Uppers!

Sweet, Mirax in a new Sailor Senshi. Wow...how many are there now? LOL! Love it. And Arkania REALLY does not seem a very good place for tourists. Thanks a lot and look forward to more!

SSM12-Yeah, but she'll get out of it. And you don't like Norrick? Good. He's meant to be odious.
Idrelle-Yeah. He's the GFFA version of Frankenstein. And yeah, rescue mission. You didn't think Tionne would be left alone, did you?
Jaded_Girl-No problem. I know how that is. Yeah, Corran's irredeemably Corsec-which isn't a bad thing, mind you. Yeah, Mirax is smart. I'm glad you like Corran. I hvn't really though about any of the others... maybe Anakin's has a blade or something? I shall ponder. Glad you like Sarji and her dad. And sorry. *Winces* I'm glad I got so many readers now. Remember when I had you, JSM... and that was it? Sarji's plan was to surprise the pirates. They expected, at best, some 'normal' people, not Jedi and Senshi and a Mystril Shadow Guard. Citation also means award/recognition. Yes, no wonder. Yes, he's a jerk.
baf-Lemme think...
Sailor's:
Corellia
Dathomir
Tatooine
Coruscant
Chiron
Alderaan
Melodie
Errant Venture
Yavin
So at the moment, nine. Did I miss anyone? And no, Arkania's a bit out of the way.
Happy Easter to all! *Hands out chocolate*
This post ends the current arc and begins Arc Ten. Only two more to go!
Here we go!
*****
Tionne looked up at her newly found sister while Norrick wandered off to another section of the lab. Her silvery eyes were dull and couldn’t focus on anything or anyone. “So, you’re my sister. Did you know our parents? Did you know how they died?”
Tionn’a shrugged. “That information is not relevant to the matter at hand. I was constructed to replace you.”
Tionne smirked. “Your eye color is wrong, then. Looks like Daddy dearest messed up a bit.”
Tionn’a bit her tongue, her eyes hardening. “I am better than you in every way, Tionne. I am stronger, faster, smarter and I have more control over the Force.” She crossed her arms in front of her and smiled. “I am superior to you in every way and can replace you at any time.”
Tionne’s eyes looked down at the floor. Silence reigned for a few minutes until, “When was his birthday?”
Tionn’a’s eyebrows wrinkled in confusion. “When was who’s birthday?”
Tionne looked up at her sister. There was an air of infinite sadness about her as she spoke. “When was Kam’s birthday? What was his favorite meal? Why did Setsuna hate phones?” She sneered, anger leaking in. “You can’t replace me, you twit! You don’t know the first thing about me.” She flexed her arms and tested her bonds. “And I’m betting you couldn’t take me in a fight.”
The older sibling reared back and slapped Tionne across the face, leaving a red imprint. “I don’t have to, fool. I don’t want to lead your pathetic life. I have my own.”
Tionne’s head snapped back, a thin trail of blood dripping from her mouth. It contrasted deeply with her pale skin as she spoke. “Is it your life, or Norrick’s that you’re leading?” Her eyes took on a pleading look. “Please, try to remember that I’m your sister. I… I love you, and Norrick has been using you and our younger siblings like lab rats.”
Tionn’a hesitated, doubt clouding her mind. She turned away from Tionne and walked about the lab a bit, not sure what to do or who to trust. She sensed… a bond with Tionne beginning to form. What is this? Where did it come from?
She turned back, but before she could say anything, Norrick walked over. “Your friends have arrived,” he said. His white eyes hardened. “I’m going to go kill them now. Some of them have some unusual powers. I wonder what their genes would do for Tionn’a here.” He turned and shuffled over to a door. Before leaving, he called over to his creation. “If Tionne tries anything, kill her.” And with that, he was gone.
Tionn’a turned back to Tionne; her golden eyes awash with confusion. She didn’t want to kill Tionne, but her father told her to if she tried anything. And she always obeyed her father. She looked up, but before she could speak, Tionne grunted. The Jedi Master’s arms and legs flexed, straining against the bands holding her in place. “That is a waste,” Tionn’a said. “You can-”
Before she could finish, the bands snapped, dropping Tionne to the ground. Tionn’a let out a sigh and pulled out a slender cylinder. “He warned you,” she said, igniting a golden blade.
Tionne glanced up at her sister. At least it’s not my lightsaber. “Well, Daddy dearest doesn’t know everything about me.” She concentrated and held out her right hand, summoning her transformation wand. Tionn’a thrust her lightsaber at Tionne’s midsection, but the Elven Jedi dodged it. Rolling back. She landed in a crouch and shouted, “Yavin Star Power Makeup!”
A half second later, Sailor Yavin stood tall.
*****
Tuxedo Corsec stepped forward, not sure where the traps were that he sensed. He led everyone down a rather narrow corridor, his danger sense buzzing, but nothing attacking them-yet.
At the rear, Sailor Bastion continually jumped up and looked about. “Where are the droidekas? I don’t see any.”
Shada raised her blaster pistols. “They’re here. I can almost feel them.”
The corridor opened up into a large room. Errant Venture’s eyes picked out several hidden panels and entrances. “Well, this says ‘walk in and get shot up’.”
A door opened on the other side of the room. Norrick stepped through with a remote control in one clawed hand. “You’re too late. Tionne is mine again, and she’ll never leave this facility alive.”
Corsec stepped forward, lightsaber and rose at the ready. “What did you do to her?” Anger tinged his voice as he shouted.
The mad scientist chuckled and pressed a button on the remote. “Oh, you’ll be able to ask her that very soon…”
A dozen panels along the walls opened, letting droidekas out. The war droids rolled along before stopping and unfolding into attack position. Arms tipped with heavy blasters maneuvered and heads dotted with sensors rose.
Shada began firing even before they began unfurling, however, blowing off two heads and shooting up the power generators in their main bodies. The other ten, however, deployed their shield generators. Half-bubbles of energy formed around them, protecting their vital components.
Corsec held his lightsaber up and sunk into the Force, whipping it around to deflect the incoming bolts. “We’re in trouble.” He turned his head around a bit and looked at Bastion. “You any good at telekinesis?”
The teen shook her head. “I’m Force-sensitive, not a Jedi Knight!” She shrieked when a near hit stuck the wall, sending out a shower of sparks.
Shada, meanwhile, broke from the cover Corsec was giving and ran about, blaster pistols firing. Her superb conditioning and Mistryl training ensured that the droidekas couldn’t hit her. Unfortunately, the droideka shields prevented her from doing anything to them. And they were more maneuverable than they looked, making sure she was unable to get behind one to kill it.
Nearer Corsec, Sailor Errant Venture raised her right hand. “Hammertong!” she shouted. A green energy beam shot out from each finger and met a few centimeters from the palm of her hand, melding into a larger and more powerful beam. It hit one of the droidekas, washing over its shield for a half-minute before finally burning through and destroying it. “This is great,” she said with a bit of sarcasm. “We might be through these guys before the end of the year.”
Bastion held her hands together and began summoning an Imperial Starburst. A golden sphere of energy formed in her hands. “Imperial…” She let the sphere fly. “Starburst!” she finished. The ball flew through the air and exploded, showering the area with energy beams. Three droidekas were destroyed, but the rest were able to block the beams with their shields.
Shada bit back a curse at the uselessness she felt. Everyone else could contribute but her. She dodged another series of bolts and rolled to the right. When she got back to her feet, an odd rush of power flowed through her body. Her hands tingled and her breath came in short gasps. “What the hell?” she muttered.
Bastion and Errant Venture looked over at her. “No way!” the Senshi of the Empire gasped.
Errant Venture promptly hit her on the head. “Yes, way.” She turned to her friend and shouted. “Shada, you have the power of the Senshi! Raise your right hand, concentrate and think of the planet you identify with.”
Shada’s gray eyes widened in shock. She numbly held her right hand up and shouted, “Emberlene Power Makeup!” A shadow enveloped her, changing her jacket, shirt and pants to a Sailor Fuku complete with a black bow tied on front and matching miniskirt. Ankle boots and elbow-length gloves completed the ensemble. A half-second later, Sailor Emberlene-Senshi of the Mistryl Shadow Guard-stood where Shada once was.
*****
Tionn’a’s body moved gracefully, dodging both chains and getting inside their guard. She ran up to Yavin and thrust her lightsaber at the Jedi Master, missing her head by centimeters. The Jedi Master retracted her chains and tried wrapping them around Tionn’a, but her older sister merely parried one chain while dodging the other. “Is that the best you can do?” she taunted. “Your skills are pathetic!” She stepped forward and kicked Yavin in the gut, sending her tumbling back.
Sailor Yavin rolled through the kick and landed in a crouch. Her chains retracted back and wound around her arms. “Tionn’a, please! We’re family. Let’s not fight.”
Tionn’a’s grip on her lightsaber wavered, but she remained firmly in a combat stance. “I… cannot go against Norrick, Tionne. He raised me.”
“He used us!” the Elven Jedi shouted. “We were nothing more than lab rats to him!” She motioned to the tubes containing the three sleeping sisters. “Please, let me help them. They deserve your love. They deserve to live.”
Tionn’a’s hands shook and tears fell from her golden eyes, but she gritted her teeth and charged Sailor Yavin, blade brought out in front.
The Senshi latched onto the desk Norrick used and levitated it in front of her, but Tionn’a sliced it in two and sent both pieces flying at Yavin. The silver-haired Senshi blocked one, but the other hit her and sent her flying against the wall.
Tionn’a advanced on her. “I cannot stop myself, but I shall take care of our sisters,” she said, choking on the words. She raised the blade…
Time slowed to a crawl for Yavin. Two figures appeared next to her. “You look like you’re in a bad spot,” Kam Solusar said.
Setsuna nodded in agreement. “Not your best showing, my friend.” She looked over at Tionn’a. “So, that’s your sister. You often talked about how much you wanted to find out if you have family.”
Yavin closed her eyes and simply let the tears fall. “Kam, I miss you so much. Setsuna, I want to go back and stop you from doing Time Stop.”
Setsuna knelt and patted The Senshi with a blue-tinged hand. “It was my choice, Tionne. I would’ve done it all over again.” She looked back at Tionn’a. “However, you also have a choice. At this range, Chains of Annihilation will kill her. So, what will you do?”
Yavin snorted. “I die, then. I won’t kill my own flesh and blood.”
Kam chuckled. “Is there any way for her to see the truth that you speak of?”
Yavin gasped as the idea hit her. She turned her grateful eyes upon the ghost of her husband. “Kam, thank you. You-” She gasped when she noted him and Setsuna fading. “No, don’t go!” she screamed, hands clawing the air.
Kam reached over and gently kissed her on the cheek. “We’ll see each other again, honey.”
Setsuna, meanwhile, hugged her best friend before fading back into the Force…
Tionn’a’s blade came down, but before she could finish the slash, Sailor Yavin crossed her arms in front of her chest, clasped each shoulder and shouted, “Fog of Truth!” A thick, gray fog filled the lab, engulfing both Sailor Yavin and Tionn’a.
Tionn’a dropped her lightsaber and clutched the sides of her head. Her eyes bugged out as a torrent of images flooded her mind; laughing with her sisters, learning how to cook from her mother, and then the accident that killed Mom and Dad. It was a driver high on spice that killed them. They then went to an orphanage, and then Norrick came along…
Yavin, meanwhile, breathed in the Fog and allowed the memories to come. She wept, glad to finally know who she was and where she came from. She crawled over to Tionn’a. “Now I know where I come from,” she whispered. “Now we both know.”
Tionn’a looked over at her sister, as if seeing her for the first time. She then broke down into sobs before Yavin gathered her up in her arms and gave her older sister a hug.
*****
Sailor Emberlene raised her hands. A dozen razor-sharp needles materialized in a cloud around her. “Needle Storm!” she shouted. The needles flew at the remaining nine droidekas and struck the energy shields protecting them, ricocheting off and bouncing along until striking a droideka at the rear, piercing their reactor cores.
The nine remaining droids exploded, causing Norrick to shield his white eyes. When his vision cleared, he saw Emberlene, Bastion, Errant Venture and Corsec in front of him.
“Hello. We’re going to beat you up until you lead us to Tionne,” Emberlene said, cracking her knuckles. “And I’m not a Jedi, so I don’t have to reign in my anger.”
Norrick raised his hand, but the Mistryl grabbed it and twisted his hand into a very unnatural position. Norrick cried out in pain. “She’s-she’s dead! I told Tionn’a to kill her!”
Corsec leaned over and looked through the open door. He also reached out with the Force. “She’s not dead,” he stated. He straightened up and glared at the scientist. “Now, lead the way.”
Norrick sighed and turned to the door. He walked through, followed by everyone else. They passed through a short corridor before emerging into Norrick’s lab.
Errant Venture chuckled at all the old equipment. “Boy, you really went for the whole ‘mad scientist’ angle, didn’t you?”
The group found Tionne and another woman standing in front of five cylinders, three of which with a humanoid floating in stasis. The woman, who looked strikingly like Tionne, turned and walked over to Norrick. “You will release my sisters now!” she shouted, motioning to the cylinders.
Norrick sighed. “After all I did for you.” He walked over while Tionne stepped over to her friends.
Corsec gave her a hug. “I take it you found your family.”
The Elven Jedi nodded, tears of happiness falling from her eyes. “This is Tionn’a, my older sister,” she said, motioning to her. “We fought, but made up after. Sisters do that, right?”
Tionn’a turned and waved at the four. She then pointed to the cylinders. There was already movement in them as the three females were being brought out of stasis. “And these are our other sisters.”
Liquid drained from the cylinders and they retracted into their bases, allowing the sisters to collapse. Tionne, Tionn’a and Errant Venture were there in an instant, helping them to the floor. Tionne helped the young girl. “I’ve got you,” she gently said, projecting soothing thought through the Force.
The young one looked up and flashed a toothy grin. “I knew you’d come back,” she said. “You never broke a pwomise before, big sis!”
Corsec grabbed Norrick’s shoulder and spun him around. “You’re under arrest,” he said.
Norrick sneered. “You can’t arrest me! You have no jurisdiction here!”
The Jedi Master reached into his pocket and pulled out an ID card. “I never formally resigned from Corellian Security, and this is a New Republic member world.” He shoved the scientist against a desk and pulled both arms behind his back. “This planet is a member of the New Republic, and there‘s enough stuff in here to convict you of a hundred crimes.”
Norrick tried to wrestle his arm free, but Corsec’s grip was firm. “You can’t release them! They’re insane, all three of them!” the old man screeched.
Tionne scowled and knelt down in front of the youngest. She sent a small tendril of thought into her mind, but discovered no madness. “They’re fine,” she said. She stood up and walked over to where Corsec held Norrick. “They’re not insane. Why did you imprison them?”
The scientist growled. “Of course they’re insane. None of them obeyed me, nor did they develop Force powers. Of course they’re mentally defective!”
Tionne felt a flush of anger sweep through her, but she fought it down. “They aren’t defective, they’re normal!” She stomped over and glared at him. “You ruined our lives, and for what? What possible reason could you have to do this?”
Norrick shrugged, but remained silent.
Bastion glanced around. “So, what do we do now? I don’t think this place should remain like it is.”
Emberlene nodded. “I agree, Sarji. This man has done great evil here, and should be punished.” The Senshi of the Mistryl rolled her gray eyes. “I must also talk to Mara and find out how she deals with corny speeches.” She looked over at the three sisters. “What about them?”
Tionne thought for a moment. “I want to take them to Coruscant and have them checked out, just to be on the safe side.”
Tionn’a nodded. “An excellent idea, sister.” The two walked off, followed by Corsec.
The Jedi Master still had Norrick’s arm twisted around. “Let’s go, pal. You’ve got a date with the Tatooine Stockade.”

Jesmin Ackbar Memorial Hospital, Coruscant
Cilghal looked over the small child, her bulbous eyes focusing on different areas of her. The small one, almost a miniature version of Tionne, laughed and held up her arms. “You’re nice looking!” she giggled.
Cilghal’s mouth opened in an approximation of a smile. “Thank you, little fish.” The Jedi Master then turned to Tionne, Tionn’a and Mirax. “All four of you check out with perfect health. Whatever this Norrick did, it wasn’t damaging.”
Tionn’a nodded. “He may have the morals of a Sith Lord, but he was damned good at genetic engineering.” She walked over to the young one, leaving Tionne and Mirax alone.
“So, what are you gonna do now?” Mirax asked.
Tionne looked up at the ceiling and leaned against a bed behind the pair. “I have to go back to Yavin IV and see everyone. But after that, I want to spend time with my family.” He silvery eyes clouded over with tears. “Tionn’a’s my twin sister. Can you believe that?”
Mirax nodded but stayed silent, allowing Tionne to continue. “Makoto, Rei, Kyp and Miko are running the Academy fine, and of course Luke and Mara are there too, so they should be fine without me.”
This time, Mirax spoke up. “I feel happy for you, Tionne. You’ve gained a new family. Just don’t forget about the one you already had.”
Just then, Corran, Sarji and Shada entered the room. Tionne thought about the past twenty-three months and smiled. “Oh, I won’t, Mirax. I won’t forget about either family.”

Chapter One: Failing the Test
June 1, 2009
The Jade Saber flew through the Corellian Star System, approaching the twin worlds of Talus and Tralus. The two worlds orbited the Saber’s destination-Centerpoint Station. Aboard the sleek cruiser were Jedi Knights Anakin Solo and Tomoe Hotaru. The young man guided his aunt’s cruiser up to the immense station and guided it into one of the numerous hangar bays.
Hotaru glanced over at her boyfriend. “So, why do they need you here?”
Anakin rubbed his forehead and dredged up the message he received a week ago. “The scientists want to do tests on Centerpoint’s main repulsor. And to do that, they need me to start up the operation.” He unconsciously flexed his right hand several times. “Just like old times, actually.”
The main hangar doors of the station closed and the bay repressurized. Anakin and Hotaru secured the ship before exiting the cockpit. Five seconds later, they left the Saber and met up with a woman at the bottom of the main ramp.
She wore a set of dirty coveralls and had a belt loaded with various tools. “Mister Solo, Miss Tomoe, my name is Jenica Sonsen,” she said, extending her hand.
Anakin accepted it and gave it a firm shake. “I remember you,” he said. “It’s been about seventeen years.”
Jenica smiled at that. “It has been a while.” She motioned to a door off to the side, and the three walked out of the hangar. The Jedi followed her down a hallway before entering a turbolift at the end of the expansive corridor. They entered and Jenica spoke. “Main control room.” The car moved down, jarring them slightly before inertial compensators kicked in.
Anakin turned to Jenica. “I only operated the repulsor on Drall. Why do you need me to activate this one?”
The woman sighed. “Apparently, all the repulsors are linked. Only you can operate it.” The door slid open, allowing them to exit and walk down another corridor.
Hotaru spoke up. “Why do you want to test this thing out? From what I know, this thing’s capable of destroying stars.”
Jenica nodded. “Yes, but there’s a lot of good that can be done with it. We could move planets with it and aid in terraforming them. And it can be used for defense.” They stopped at a door with about three locks on it and two armored security guards in front. Jenica flashed a badge at them and one of them turned to the door, pushing buttons on a control panel. A half-minute later, it opened and allowed the three inside.
The room inside was almost painfully white, with a chair in the middle of the room. It looked like it grew out of the floor and had a control panel jutting out of the left armrest. Jenica motioned to it and Anakin sat down.
Hotaru stood by him as a control stick ‘grew’ out of the panel. “This is… odd,” she remarked.
Anakin smiled tightly. “Just you wait, firefly.” He gripped the stick with his right hand and pressed a few buttons with hi right. Suddenly, both Jedi felt their stomachs twist. Anakin turned his eyes to Jenica. “Did you purge all of the old systems programmed into the firing sequence?”
She nodded even as a low rumble started up. “Yeah, why?”
The young man growled. “You missed the last one!” His left hand became a blur as he began typing out commands.
Hotaru turned to Jenica. “What’s he talking about?”
The technician’s eyes darted about. “Thracken Sal-Solo was going to use Centerpoint as a weapon. He had a list of targets programmed into the main computer and the last one on the list was this star.” The deck plating beneath them heaved. Jenica pulled out a comlink and activated it. “Central, what the hell is going on?”
A frantic voice came over the tiny speaker grille. “The glow point just powered up, ma’am! The old program wasn’t completely purged!”
Jenica swore before turning to Anakin. “Can you shut it down?”
The young Jedi looked up. His normally calm eyes were wide and wild. “I can redirect it, but if I try to stop it, you’re looking at a black hole in the middle of this system.” He then went back to work, pushing buttons in a desperate attempt to try and redirect the star-killing pulse of gravity.
At the center of Centerpoint, a large sphere of light flared briefly before dying down. The released gravity pulse traveled across the Corellian Star System in a few seconds, grazing the star at the middle. The yellow sun didn’t explode, but the surface roiled and writhed at the contact. Huge solar flares and radiation bursts flew from the surface, some lashing out millions of kilometers and hitting the Five Brothers.
*****
The Headquarters Frigate
Lieutenant Jaina Solo glanced through her notes with alert eyes and cleared her throat. She looked out at the crowd of fighter pilots and practiced a quick Jedi calming exercise. After doing briefing for a while, she less and less nervous, but sometimes her nerves frazzled a bit She locked eyes with Wedge Antilles and flashed him a smile of thanks. She cleared her throat and began to speak. “All right, Rogue Squadron was in-”
A scream of raw pain shot from her throat. The datapad she held clattered to the floor and she dropped to her knees.
Wedge and Wes ran down to her. “Get a trauma team to the main conference room, STAT!” the general shouted. He then leaned down and grabbed both of Jaina’s arms, forcing them down to her sides. “Wes, open her mouth and make sure she doesn’t swallow her tongue,” he said.
The major bent forward, grabbing the Senshi’s mouth and prying it open. “Damn it, where’s that trauma team?”
Jaina’s brown eyes rolled into the back of her head she began convulsing. “Pain pain nothing but pain make it stop MAKE IT STOP!”
Two med techs ran in with a gurney. “We’ll take it from here,” one of them said. They gently lifted Jaina up and placed her on the gurney.
Two minutes later, Jaina was in sick bay and had two FX-7 droids hovering over her. “Her core temperature has increased, but we have no explanation for her muscle spasms or the firing of her nerve clusters,” one of them reported to Wedge.
The general looked through a transparisteel window and into the room with Jaina. Her arms were bound to the bed, but equipment in the room was rattling and shaking. “Find out what’s going on,” he said, unable to take his eyes away from her.
Suddenly, the com system chimed. “General Antilles, there’s a vessel on an intercept course with us. Its ID reads as the Lightning Rod.”
Wedge and Wes exchanged a glance. “I was wondering when he was gonna show up,” Wes quipped. “The dashing knight to the rescue of the fair princess?“
The general glared at him and held the comlink to his mouth. “Let him land.”
Five minutes later, a frantic Zekk burst into the room. “What’s the matter with her? What’s the matter with her?” he shouted. His green eyes were wide with worry and his hands were trembling.
Jaina suddenly stopped thrashing and looked over to the window. “… Zekk?” she whispered.
The bounty hunter placed a hand on the window. “I’m here, honey.” Jaina’s face suddenly scrunched with pain and she screamed. Zekk turned to Wedge. “I’ll find out what happened to her. I swear it!”
The young man walked over and entered the room. Jaina’s eyes tracked him, but she didn’t speak. “It’s okay, Jaina. I’m here to help,” he said, more for himself than for his beloved. He telekinetically pulled a chair over to her bedside and sat down. Tell me what’s wrong, he sent to her through the Force.
Jaina’s head moved slowly to the right and she locked eyes with her beloved. “Pain, Zekk. Nothing but pain. My heart and soul are on fire and I don’t-” She stopped talking and let out a low moan.
Zekk’s hand grabbed Jaina’s and concentrated on her life force, melding it with his. Sweat beaded on his pale skin and he grunted. “I… will save… you!”
Jaina bit her lip, but the pain in her very being subsided. “Thank you,” she panted. Tears rolled down her cheeks. “What’s going on?”
Zekk shook his head, his ponytail jumping about. “I don’t know. Does this have anything to do with your Senshi powers? Are you achieving another level of power?”
Jaina smiled at him. “The last time wasn’t nearly as painful as this, honey.”
Zekk shrugged and closed his eyes, concentrating. Images flashed in his mind; Jacen, Tenel Ka, Usagi and Mamoru all floated by. Han and Leia also passed by. Eventually, his mind’s eye settled on Corellia, Jaina’s guardian planet and the source of her Senshi powers. The planet abruptly began… bleeding. The oceans turned red and Zekk felt a chill slide down his spine. His emerald eyes shot open and he looked over to the window. Wedge and Wes were still there. “Sir, do you have any pressing business?”
Wedge shook his head. “All we’ve got going on right now are practice maneuvers.”
The bounty hunter let out a sigh of relief. “Can you go to the Corellian System, please? I feel the answers are there.”
While Wedge contacted the bridge, Zekk stood up. A wave of dizziness swept over him and he stumbled a bit. “Oh, not good,” he said.
Wes noted that and entered the room. “You okay?” he asked.
Zekk shrugged and looked down at Jaina. She was asleep and appeared to be resting comfortably. “I tied my life force in with hers. It’s a bit draining, but worth it.” He reached over and brushed a lock of brown hair out of her face. “I don’t know how long I can keep her alive, but I won’t give in.”
Wes smiled and patted him on the shoulder. “I like you, kid.”
Zekk arched an eyebrow at him. “Actually, I’m thirty.”
Wes arched an eyebrow at him. “You hide it well. Any tips?”
The Jedi Knight opened his mouth, but nothing came out for a few moments. “I’ll get back to you on that.”

Loved the exchange between Tionne and Tionn'a at the beginning. Tense -- really tense. Poor Tionne.
That kind of creeped up on her.
Errant Venture chuckled at all the old equipment. “Boy, you really went for the whole ‘mad scientist’ angle, didn’t you?”
*snort*
True, very true.
SURPRISE! You're a Senshi!
Corsec grabbed Norrick’s shoulder and spun him around. “You’re under arrest,” he said.
Norrick sneered. “You can’t arrest me! You have no jurisdiction here!”
Oh, really? Try them, Norrick, just try them. He's sounding pretty desperate to me right there -- which makes sense, considering his position. When will he learn?
Jaina's trial looks interesting. Looking forwards to more!

Excellent chapter. Loved how Norrick was captured. That monster is too good for the Stockade...
Uh oh...even in prison, Thracken finds some way to mess everything up.

*munches on Easter chocolate* Yum! Thanks! Happy Belated Easter! ^_^
This post ends the current arc and begins Arc Ten. Only two more to go!
?! What do you mean, ?!?! The proper response is !!!
Tionne looked up at her sister. There was an air of infinite sadness about her as she spoke. “When was Kam’s birthday? What was his favorite meal? Why did Setsuna hate phones?”
(Why DID Setsu-chan hate phones, though?)
Tionne glanced up at her sister. At least it’s not my lightsaber.
Yeah. Few things more embarrassing than being impaled on your own 'saber.
Awwww! Nice reunion with Kam and Pluto, but still sad! Very sweet, though. ^_^
“Hello. We’re going to beat you up until you lead us to Tionne,” Emberlene said, cracking her knuckles. “And I’m not a Jedi, so I don’t have to reign in my anger.”
Mua ha haaa... Excellent.
“We fought, but made up after. Sisters do that, right?”
A bit more extreme than usual, but all's well that ends well... ^_^;;;
Part Ten: Destruction of Corellia? Jaina Solo’s Trial!
*squeal!*
*Cut to Jaina clutching her chest in pain.*
*Sweep to the Lightning Rod and zoom into the cockpit. Zekk is clutching the same spot.*
Awww! (Oi, I'm gonna be a mushy mess on this arc...)
The general looked through a transparisteel window and into the room with Jaina. Her arms were bound to the bed, but equipment in the room was rattling and shaking.
Whoo. O_O
Five minutes later, a frantic Zekk burst into the room. “What’s the matter with her? What’s the matter with her?” he shouted. His green eyes were wide with worry and his hands were trembling.
If it weren't for the dire situation, it'd be so cute! Eh, who am I kidding- it's still cute despite the dire situation! *guilty grin* Boy I am such a sucker for the damsel-in-distress rescues!
Whoa, creeeeepy! Awesome vision, Striker!
Yay, Zekk! Go save Jaina! And hooray for seeing Wes and Wedge again!
Up!
