Even though considering where in the Three New Sailor Senshi timeline this takes place, we all know everyone will be alright, I'm still on the edge of my seat here. Looking forward to what's coming next.
It's great to see the Tuskens and Moister Farmers of Tatooine not killing each other anymore. But the relationship between them could definitely improve.

SSM12-Thanks. Yeah, Tahiri's got a lot of work ahead of her, but the first steps have been taken. And thanks.
Taeniaea-Thanks.
baf-lol, cool. Glad it's still tense. I tried to keep a bit of that here. And yeah, it'll take a while.
This ends Part Ten and begins Part Eleven. Can yah believe it?
Here we go!
*****
“She’s coming to. Good work getting her back in, kid.”
“No problem, Mister Solo.”
“Oh, please. Call me Han.”
Jaina’s eyes slowly opened, then shut again at the light. “Where am I?” she mumbled. Suddenly, she shot up. “Wait, where did Keope go?” She looked about, her silky brown hair swishing about. “Where am I?” she asked, confusion playing over her face.
Both Zekk and Han stood by her bedside. “You’re back in the Headquarters Frigate,” Zekk explained. “After the light faded, you passed out and I had to bring you back inside the Falcon.” He smirked. “How many is that you owe me?”
Jaina swatted at him, but a smile was plastered on her face. “I did it,” she stated. The Senshi then shook her head. “No, we did it.” She looked over and saw Tenel Ka, Jacen, Tahiri, Anakin, Hotaru, Leia, Luke and Mara standing off to the side, hovering somewhat close. Jaina swallowed before screwing her courage up and speaking. “Ah, could I have a few moments alone with Zekk?”
Han’s mouth dropped in shock, but Leia quickly walked over to him, grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the room. “Let’s go, dear.”
Luke lingered for a moment, tossed a salute to Zekk and left, a huge grin on his face.
Jaina smiled at him. “Ah, thanks for saving my life these past few days.”
The former bounty hunter shrugged, but his pale cheeks flushed. “I just didn’t want to lose you. Y-You’re the m-most important person in my life, Jaina,” he stammered out. “You’ve a-always been there for me.”
The Senshi of mechanics nodded and moved over on her bed. She took Zekk’s hand in hers and nestled in close to him. Jaina heard his heartbeat, strong and true.
He caressed her hair and asked, “Jaina, will you marry me?”
Jaina’s brown eyes looked up into Zekk’s emerald eyes. “Yes, I will.” The two leaned in, lips coming ever closer…
“Get the hell away from my daughter!”
Both Zekk and Jaina turned and saw Han Solo standing in the doorway, blaster pistol in hand and pointed right at Zekk’s head. The younger man immediately pushed himself away from Jaina, tumbling out of his chair and onto the floor.
Leia slid past Han and Force-pulled the gun from her husband’s hand. “Dear, Zekk saved Jaina’s life and helped her to heal the Corellian System. I think he’d be perfect for Jaina.”
Han growled and crossed his arms. “I know, but I’m her father and have the right to do that.” He waved at Zekk. “Did you see what he was doing with my daughter? My baby girl?”
Jaina groaned. “Dad, I’m a grown woman!”
Han’s mouth dropped. “Grown? You’re only 26! You don’t know enough about life yet.”
Jaina’s eyes narrowed. “Right, Dad. You were only hopping around Known Space at that age. I’m in the New Republic Navy, a Jedi Knight and Sailor Senshi.”
Han shrugged. He waved her off while turning his head away slightly. “Different times and circumstances.”
Leia stood in front of him and looked up. Her Glare of Death bore into him full-force. “Dear, let’s go.” Han began to protest, but Leia pointed to the door. “Now!” she shouted. Leia then turned and walked over to Zekk. By now he was standing up and was looking a bit embarrassed. “I’m sorry about that, Zekk. We’ll talk more of this later.” And with that, she followed Han out.
Jaina and Zekk exchanged a glance. “Shall we elope?” Zekk asked.
Jaina rotated around on the bed and got to her stocking feet. “Let’s get the hell out of here.” She led him to an access panel near the other end of the room. Zekk knelt down, pried it open and helped his beloved in. “This’ll take us to the hangar,” she said.
Ten minutes later, Han went back to the door. “What are they doing in there?” He peeked in through the transparisteel window-and saw them gone. “They’re gone!” he yelled.
Leia and Luke ran over to the door and opened it. Leia closed her eyes and reached out with the Force. A half-second later, her brown eyes snapped open and several choice curses escaped her lips.
Mara’s green eyes widened in shock. “Wow! I didn’t even know you knew those. Where’d you learn them?”
Leia gave her sister in law a withering stare and Mara shrank slightly from Leia.. “They’re down on the planet, and I don’t like it.”
Luke placed a hand on her shoulder. “Leia, it might be best for you and Han to go back to Coruscant. Those two need some space.”
Leia slowly turned to glare at her slightly-older brother, but she sighed. “You might be right.” She moved to the exit. “Come on, Han. You and Chewie had better get the Falcon ready.”
Han locked eyes with Luke for a moment. “You sure about this?”
Luke nodded, and that was all Han needed.
Jacen and Tenel Ka waved their goodbyes. “See you, Uncle Luke,” he said.
Tenel Ka bowed. “It was good to see you again, and that is a fact.” She glanced at Jacen. “Now we must go back to Hapes…” She closed her gray eyes and sighed. “Although I’m not entirely sure if I want to.”
Jacen grinned at her. “Oh, come on! It’s not that bad. We haven’t had an assassination attempt in three years.” He linked his arm with hers. “And I think I know of some ways to ‘pass the time’, if you know what I mean.”
Tenel Ka turned back to Luke and Mara, bowed and then dragged her husband out of the room.
Mara sidled up to Luke. “I think I know what he means, and I think it’s a good idea,” she said, her lips pouting.
Luke smirked, then kissed his wife. “Well, let’s go, then.” The two left, leaving Anakin, Hotaru and Tahiri alone.
“I hope I find someone like that,” Tahiri sighed.
Anakin patted her on the shoulder. “He’s out there, Tahiri. You’ll find him.”
The Senshi of sand turned and smiled at her two best friends. “Good,” she said, her expression turning stern, “and you know this wasn’t your fault, right?”
Anakin let out a sigh, but nodded. Hotaru wound her right arm around his shoulders and pulled him in for a hug. “Good. Because if you didn’t,” she let go and stood by Tahiri. Both posed and pointed at him. “In the name of the Force, we’d punish you!”
Anakin looked over both ladies with his ice-blue eyes. “How do you Senshi coordinate that?” he asked.
Tahiri shrugged. “I’ll ask Luna the next time I see her.”

Coronet City, Corellia. Two days later
Peckhum exited his house and looked up to the sky, using his left hand to partially shield his eyes. The planet, no, the system had been healed by some light. Tracts of irradiated land had been cleansed, and the holes in space/time itself had closed up. Not many people suspected what happened, but Peckhum knew it was Zekk and his friends. They were always helping people out.
He looked down to the road and gasped. “Speak of the devil,” he mumbled.
Both Jaina and Zekk were running down the road up to him. “I told you I could find him,” Zekk said triumphantly. He turned to Peckhum and grinned. “Great to see you again, Peckhum.”
Jaina rolled her eyes and gave him a brief hug and kiss on the cheek. “Yes, honey. You’re great at that.” She also turned to Peckhum. “Hello, sir.”
Peckhum looked at the two younger people. “So, to what do I owe the pleasure?”
Zekk’s pale cheeks blushed a bit, but Jaina spoke up. “Peckhum, we’re getting married!” She held up her hand and flashed a diamond ring. “Zekk had it in the Lightning Rod.” she said.
Peckhum’s mouth widened in a smile, and a tear formed in his right eye. “That’s great!” He stepped forward and patted both on the shoulder. “I knew you two would get together some day.”
Zekk swallowed before speaking. “Peckhum, you’ve always been like a father to me. And-and I was wondering if you would be the witness to our wedding.”
Peckhum thought about that for a moment. “What about your family?” he asked, looking to Jaina.
The brown-haired Jedi chuckled nervously. “Well, we were kinda trying to elope. Dad was a bit… agitated when Zekk proposed.”
Zekk blanched at that. “’Agitated’? He pointed his blaster at me!”
Jaina nodded. “Like I said, agitated.”
Peckhum chuckled. “I’ve got a friend who can get you married. Give me a second to call him up.” The old spacer went back inside, leaving Jaina and Zekk alone. Their two hands found each other fairly quickly, their Force bond letting each other share their feelings and love for each other. A minute later, Peckhum came back out. “It’s all set. You kids wanna get married now?”
Jaina let out a shaky breath. “Heck, yeah.”
Peckhum smiled and brushed past her. “I’ve got a friend in downtown Coronet. He’s a justice of the peace and can get you two married.”
Zekk and Jaina caught up with him. “Peckhum, thank you so much!” Jaina said.
The older man walked up to a beat up land speeder. “Well, let’s go,” he said. He opened the door and let Jaina and Zekk climb in before getting into the driver’s seat. The repulsorlift engines coughed twice before the speeder shot off.
*****
Thirty minutes later
The trio arrived at a two-story house in the middle of Coronet. A wrought-durasteel fence surrounded the vast grounds. Several trees dotted the lawn and provided shade. And beneath one of the trees, a man in a black suit stood. His hair was as gray as Peckhum’s and his eyes twinkled. The gate opened, allowing the three in. “Hello,” he said. “I’m glad to see you, Peckhum.”
The old spacer shook his hand. “It’s good to see you too, Preacher.” he motioned to Zekk and Jaina. Jaina wore a green dress from the Lightning Rod and had her long hair done up in braids. Zekk, meanwhile, was wearing an oddly familiar jacket and pair of pants.
He winked at her as the two stood together underneath a willow tree. “I last wore this during the dinner with the Karnak Alphans,” he whispered to Jaina.
Jaina’s jaw dropped open in shock. “How-how does it still fit?”
The older man shrugged. “I had it altered as I grew. Surprisingly, I had only a few growth spurts after that dinner.”
Preacher coughed gently into his hand, getting both of their attention. “Now, then. We’re here today to celebrate love, the love between these two.” He motioned to them. “Do you have anything you’d like to say?”
Jaina glanced down at the ground, smiling shyly. “Zekk, you’ve always been there for me, pulling my butt out of one fire after another. And when you linked your life force to mine, I felt just how deeply you loved me and how you’d do anything for me. I love you, Zekk.”
Zekk swallowed before speaking. His mouth felt dry, but the words came easily. “Jaina, you brought me back from the Dark Side and stood by me, even when I went on my walkabout. Without you, I’d be some street rat with no hope or future. I guess what I’m trying to say is I love you.”
She held out her hand, and Zekk slid the ring onto her hand. Both Preacher and Peckhum smiled, the latter even wiping away a tear. Preacher held out his arms as if to encompass both. “Zekk, do you take Jaina to be your wife?”
Zekk nodded and said. “I do.”
The older man smiled and turned to Jaina. “Jaina, do you take Zekk to be your husband?”
She giggled and spoke. “I do.”
Preacher smiled and held out a datapad. “Place your thumb on the square and it’ll be fully legal.”
Both placed their thumbs on the datapad and it triple-beeped. Jaina then wrapped her arms around Zekk and pulled him in for a kiss.
He wrapped his arms around her shoulders, picked her up and twirled her around a bit. Her dress fluttered around a bit. “I love you,” he said after they broke off.
She grinned and said, “I know.”

MIRAKURU ROMANSU (Miracle romance)
Chapter One: Crash Landing
2586
The lone Charon fighter drifted through space, unseen by anyone. Inside, the last Dark Lord of the Sith slept in a hibernation trance. Darth Calaveras’ yellow eyes fluttered open and the arms that were curled around an ancient sword and book with metal pages creaked to life. It took a full minute for her to remember who she was and what her goal in life was. Ah, yes. Jaina Solo and Serenity! I must retrieve the Charon and let them loose upon the galaxy!
She gripped the controls of the fighter and activated the braking thrusters. The arachnid-like fighter righted itself and descended through the atmosphere, leaving a fiery trail in its wake. The fighter’s eight main laser cannons snapped off, but the main fuselage was able to crash land on an abandoned landing pad. Calaveras popped the hatch and took her first real breath of non-recycled air in 572 years. She sucked it in greedily, taking several deep breaths. I may not have to breathe, but the air inside that cockpit was staler than a fruitcake.
Calaveras looked around and noted a building next to the pad. The hyperdrive motivator in the fighter was damaged, but not beyond her ability to repair. She sheathed the sword of Xendor in the scabbard tied to her back, hooked the Book of the Sith to a loop on her belt and walked over to the structure…
*****
Crystal Alderaan, two months later.
A small explosion rocked the courtyard, sending several soldiers tumbling back. Darth Calaveras stood in the center, surrounded by multiple fires. “Come out, Jaina Solo! You have something I want!” She struck the ground with her sword, sending bolts of Sith lightning racing across the grounds and setting fire to the grass. Her long brown hair whipped around and a cruel smile was plastered on her face.
A red rose struck the ground in front of her, stopping her progress. “This is a place of peace, Calaveras. Leave or die.” She looked to her right and saw Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo-no, Tuxedo Aldera and Sailor Alderaan.
The former looked over at his wife and flashed her a trademark Solo smile. “Nice speech, honey.”
Alderaan shrugged. “Hey, you had the easy part. Making up these speeches on the spot is still hard.”
Onyx lightning flowed around her legs, traveled up her body and reached her gloved hands. “Twilight Pulse!” she shouted, shooting two streams of magic-enhanced electricity at the Mistress of the Sith. Calaveras merely smirked and held up her sword. The lightning flowed around it and stayed trapped there before Calaveras waved the sword, ‘throwing’ the Pulse off and sending it into a wall, blowing a huge chunk from it and showering the surrounding area with debris.
Aldera’s mouth formed a frown. “Any other tricks, princess?” Calaveras taunted.
Alderaan abruptly pushed her husband of over 500 years out of the way of another trail of lightning. Aldera’s hands reached into his cape and he pulled out several more roses. His hand blurred as he tossed them at Calaveras. Calaveras simply raised her sword and batted all but one of the roses away. One of them struck her in the face stem-first, drawing blood.
“My face! You’ll pay for that!” she screamed. Her long fingernails clawed at the wound in her face, worsening it and sending long streaks down her porcelain cheek.
Alderaan and Aldera readied another attack, but a shout from their right stopped them. “Stop right there!” All three turned their heads in the direction of the shout and saw Neo-Queen Jaina Solo and King Zekk Solo. Zekk had his armor on and broadsword ready while Jaina had her white dress on and her lightsaber ready. “How dare you disturb the peace of this planet? People live and work here, they play and laugh. I can’t forgive you for that!” Jaina posed. “In the name of the Force and Crystal Alderaan, I’ll punish you!”
Calaveras screeched and raised her sword. Greenish energy swirled around it. “Save your speeches, Jaina.”
The energy shot at Jaina, but Zekk’s sword shot up and intercepted the beam. “You shall never win, Calaveras,” he said. “The darkness can never eclipse the light.”
Calaveras smirked. “No, but the light can be snuffed out.” Her legs tensed, and she leapt at Jaina, sword of Xendor slicing down from overhead.
Zekk tossed off a few roses, but the Mistress of the Sith batted and slashed them away. She landed and held her right hand palm-out at Zekk. “Bye, bye,” she said before her hand glowed green. She hit him with a massive telekinetic pulse. Even as he flew back, she turned to Jaina. “Give me your soul!” she shouted. Her bracelets glowed and a yellowish pulse shot out of the left one.
The energy sphere hit Jaina full in the chest and sent her falling back to the ground. A small sliver of a crystal emerged from her chest-a part of her starseed.
Sailor Alderaan shouted, “Jaina, no!” She and her husband ran over, but both were stopped by a telekinetic barrier.
The sliver floated over to Calaveras, who took it. “And thus my revenge begins.” She turned and ran from the palace, using the Force to enhance her speed.
Zekk extricated himself from the slight depression he made in the wall and ran over to his wife. “Jaina, Jaina! JAINA!” He reached her and scooped her up in her arms.
She suddenly groaned and opened her eyes. “That… was not fun,” she mumbled. “Ooh, what happened?“
Zekk scanned her through the Force and their bond and noted that, except for being a little weak, Jaina was fine. “What the hell was that?” Aldera asked as he reverted back to Han.
Jaina‘s eyes glanced to her father. “I have no idea. Why didn’t she go for my entire starseed?”
Zekk knelt and let her down feet-first. He steadied her a bit as she regained her footing. “Not sure, and I think she’s gone by now.”
A flash of light engulfed Alderaan as she changed back to Leia. “I’ll tell Luke to keep an eye out for her. She said that her revenge begins, so who knows what else she’s got in mind?”
Chapter Two: School Days
Crystal Alderaan, 3014
After nearly a thousand years of rule, Neo-Queen Jaina Solo had gotten her routine down pretty well. She would wake in the morning, her arms wrapped around Zekk. After a few minutes of talk, both would rise, shower and meet downstairs. There, Jaina would partake of coffee and toast while Zekk drank water and munched on cereal. And five minute later…
“I’m late! I’m late I’m late I’m late!” Their daughter Serena Solo stormed down the stairs, one arm tucked into the proper sleeve of her school uniform jacket while the other one desperately sought the hole for the other sleeve. She grabbed a piece of toast and stuffed it into her mouth before draining a glass of milk. “Gotta go!” She ran for the door, but halted and began hovering a few centimeters off the ground.
“You forget something?” Jaina asked.
Serena sighed, turned and floated over to Jaina. “I love you, Mom,” she said, kissing her on the cheek. “I love you, Dad,” she also said, floating over and kissing him on the cheek. She then dropped down to the ground and ran out to the front gates, book bag slung across her shoulder.
Jaina shook her head and chuckled. “She’s got a good head on her shoulders.”
Zekk smirked at that. “I guess she takes after her mother’s side of the family, then.” Jaina playfully swatted at him, but Zekk grabbed her arm, pulled her toward him and gave her a long, deep kiss.
****
Serena left the front gates, but skidded to a stop next to an ornate crystalline structure in the shape of a circle with intricate designs carved into it. Smoke drifted along the bottom as eighteen-year old Zeth Durron stepped out and walked down. “Hello, Serena,” he said to her.
Serena’s mouth opened slightly, but she shook her head and regained her composure. “Hey, Zeth. How’s Earth?” she finally asked.
He tilted his head down slightly to look into her green eyes, eyes that nearly matched his own… “It’s not bad. Mother and Father are back in Tokyo so I can attend high school here.” The two walked down the street. It was still pretty early, so there were few shops open. The cafes were doing their usual brisk business, but beyond that, there were only a few people milling about.
Serena loved this time of day. It felt like she and Zeth were the only two people in the world. At least until they rounded a corner and ran into the ‘gang’. Chibi-Usa, Tomo Solo and Alachettuck (Alac to her friends) waited in front of their school, Winter Celchu Memorial High School.
Chibi-Usa nodded as the pair walked up. Her twin ponytails now reached the small of her back, but she was the shortest one in the gang. She glanced over at Zeth, and a sly smile crossed her face. “You two always walk to school together.” She rubbed her chin in thought. “In wonder about that.”
Before Serena’s face turned beet-red, the school bell began ringing. “Argh! We’re late” Chibi-Usa cried. her feet kicked up a dust trail as she ran down the main thoroughfare. Everyone took off after her with Serena in back. It did afford her a good view of Zeth’s profile, though.
She hurried up the stairs and down the hall to her locker. Zeth’s locker was right next to hers, so she could spend a few more moments with him. “How’s the history paper coming?” she asked.
Zeth shrugged as he pulled out a notebook computer and an old-fashioned paper book. “Dean Urawa has quite a task for me. The Near-Apocalypse of ’08 was a long time ago.”
Serena chuckled at that, but a voice laden with wisdom startled them both. “Yes, but I was around for it. Does that make me old?”
Zeth and Serena froze at Urawa Ami’s statement. The two teens slowly turned and took in the head of Winter Celchu Memorial High School. Ami wore her hair a bit longer than she used to and she was a lot more confident than when she was still Serena and Zeth‘s age, but she was still Ami.
Zeth swallowed and opened his mouth, but Serena interrupted him. “He didn’t mean it like that, Miss Urawa! He meant that the Near-Apocalypse was old but still quite relevant to this time period, like you!”
Ami’s blue eyes narrowed at that and Serena mentally slapped herself. Open mouth, insert foot, she thought.
Instead, Ami patted the two on their shoulders and smiled. “You two had better get to class. You don’t want to be late.” And with that, the Senshi of knowledge turned and walked off.
Zeth turned his head slightly and glanced at Serena. “You did not just indirectly call the dean of this school old.”
Serena closed her green eyes and leaned against her locker. “Can I go see Sannah and go back in time a few minutes?”
Zeth smiled slightly at that. “Come on, Serena. English Literature awaits.”
Serena smiled at that and tucked a lock of her long brown hair behind her ears. “Lead on,” she said, straightening up.
The two ran up a flight of stairs and down a hall to the last classroom on the left. They entered just ahead of the teacher. “Nice to see you on time,” he said to Serena. The teen grinned sheepishly as she sat down next to Chibi-Usa. “Now, we’ll be discussing King Lear today…”
*****
The rest of the day flew by for Serena until 1:00 PM. Then it was time for the class she loved and dreaded the most-gym. No one looking at Serena would say she was un-athletic. Daily lightsaber drills and practice at the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV made sure that she was physically fit. No. The reason she didn’t like gym was because she wasn’t the most coordinated person on the planet-or in the school, for that matter.
Serena stood with Tomo and Chibi-Usa near the back of the class. The gym teacher motioned to a pommel horse. “We’ll be practicing jumping today.” She eyed the students. “Remember, kids. No Force powers or Senshi abilities.” The teacher walked over to the horse with a clipboard and shouted, “Armstrong, go!”
As the students were called forth, Serena felt her legs wobble. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. “It’ll be all right,” Tomo said to her.
Serena looked back with her green eyes and a look of gratitude on her face. “Thanks, Tomo.”
She suddenly heard the teacher shout out, “Serena, you’re up! Get moving!”
The teen gasped and snapped to attention. “Yes, ma’am!” She ran at the pommel horse, determined to successfully jump over it this time. She reached the brown lump, planted both hands on it-and promptly hit her thighs against the horse. She squeaked as she tumbled over and landed on the other side in a heap. “Ow…” she moaned.
The teacher sighed and walked over. “Not bad, Serena. You’re getting better.”
Both Chibi-Usa and Tomo ran over. “You okay?” Chibi-Usa asked, her scarlet eyes wide with concern.
Serena waved them off and slowly got to her feet. “Yeah, I-” She noticed a group of boys running around the track. Among them was Zeth. Serena knew, she knew that he saw her make a fool of herself there. “Oh, I’m great, Chibi-Usa. Do you happen to have a bag I can wear over my head for the rest of the year?”
The teacher shouted, “Next up, Tomo Solo!”
*****
Later that day
Serena walked home from school, her head hanging low. The rest of the day after gym was relatively uneventful, but she still couldn’t believe that she screwed up like that in front of Zeth. She had never told anyone else, but she harbored a major crush on the young man. So preoccupied she was with her thoughts, she didn’t notice the woman in front of her until it was too late. “Oh!” she cried, stumbling back and dropping her backpack.
The bag slowed down and stopped just shy of the duracrete sidewalk, along with Serena. She let out a sigh of relief as she was levitated back to a standing position. “Oh, thanks Tahiri! Thanks, Kiba!”
The blond-haired, green-eyed Senshi of sand nodded, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. Her skin had darkened over the course of a thousand years, but her tongue was still as loose as ever. “How are you Serena? Oh, I’m sensing some embarrassment from you. What do you have to be embarrassed about? Did something happen at school?”
Tahiri took a breath, allowing Serena to interrupt. “So, how’s Tatooine? I hear the reclamation project’s going well.”
Kiba bared his teeth in a smile. “Going pretty good, actually. Right, Akira?”
The small puppy dog nestled in the good of Kiba’s sweatshirt barked, flashing his fangs and wagging his tail.
The three walked up to the main gates of the Crystal Palace. The two guards there snapped to attention as Serena walked through the main gates of the palace. “About fifteen percent of Tatooine is no longer desert,” Tahiri said. The Senshi radiated happiness as she spoke. “The Tusken Raiders and the Jawas are getting along with the moisture farmers and city folk.”
Kiba’s eyes looked to her. “Sliven‘s proud of you,” he said, leaning over and brushing his lips against her cheek.
Serena’s eyes narrowed. “So, what brings you to Crystal Alderaan?”
Tahiri shrugged. “I found a Force-sensitive Tusken among my tribe, and I brought her to the Academy on Earth.”
Serena smiled at that. “Wow, cool! What’s her name?”
The trio entered the main part of the palace. “Her name is Lase. She’s Sliven’s biological descendant.” A half-smile crossed Kiba’s lips. “Tahiri also sensed something… familiar from her.” He looked down at Serena and winked. “Just don’t let anyone else in on this, okay? We want to make sure.”
The teen nodded in agreement.
They turned a corner and ran into Jaina and Zekk. “Tahiri, Kiba, I’m glad to see you!” Jaina said, hugging her old friend.
Zekk extended his hand and Kiba clasped it. “Same here.“
Tahiri nodded and returned the embrace. “Well, I wouldn’t feel right about not seeing you.” She turned to Zekk and exchanged places with Kiba, shaking his hand. “So, how’s the planet?”
While Zekk, Tahiri and Kiba chatted, Jaina walked over to her daughter. “So, how was school?” she asked, concern on her voice.
Serena’s head drooped again, and Jaina could feel embarrassment wafting off of her daughter. “I screwed up on the pommel horse, and now Zeth probably thinks I’m a total nerd.”
Jaina’s mouth formed a straight line as she patted her daughter on the shoulder. “Honey, you are not a total nerd. And you and I both know that Zeth isn’t that superficial.”
Serena sighed. “I hope so, Mom.”
Just then, a small voice echoed in Jaina’s mind. Honey, help me! My ears are about to fall off. Jaina placed her hand on her forehead and sighed before turning around and saying. “So, want a tour of the place?”
Tahiri narrowed her eyes at Zekk for a moment before turning to Jaina and nodding. “I’d love one.”
Kiba bared his teeth, wrinkling the blood-red tattoos below his eyes. “Sounds good to me. Been ages since I’ve been here.” He stepped back and craned his neck around, looking at the high ceiling. “A lot different than Tatooine, that’s for sure.”
As the three old friends walked down the hall, Serena looked up at her father. “Stay away from Tatooine for a bit,” she remarked.
Zekk’s green eyes nearly rolled into the back of his head. “Thanks, honey.” He patted her on the shoulder. “Want some supper? I made some steak today.”
The teen nodded and smiled. “Sure thing, Dad. Thanks.”
*****
Jedi Academy, five miles north of Wichita Kansas
Kino Makoto swung her double-bladed lightsaber over her head, creating a strobing circle of green light. She then swung down from her right shoulder and slashed the air in front of her, the plasma blades retracting any time they came close to her body. “A double-bladed lightsaber affords both defense and offense, but is very, very dangerous to the wielder. One wrong move, one wrong misstep,” she thrust a blade out in front of her, then swung the entire weapon around on its axis, bringing the other blade swinging down and around in an arc, “can be fatal.”
She turned to her class. Most were human, but there were several members of other species from throughout the Terran Confederation. A blue-skinned member of Ali and En’s species stood in the foreground, his pointy ears and brightly colored hair causing him to stand out somewhat. There were two from the planet Coronis, the home of former Senshi Lead Crow. She saw Andorians, Vulcans… even a Daxamite.
Makoto reflected for a moment on the decision to create a second Jedi Academy and have it so far away from Crystal Tokyo…
Makoto and Kyp bent down to kneel in front of Serenity and Endymion, but the two rulers of Crystal Tokyo sighed and rolled their identical crystal-blue eyes. “Makoto, Kyp, we’re old friends! Don’t bow!”
The two newlyweds quickly got back to their feet. “Sorry, your majesty,” Kyp said.
Endymion placed his hand over his face in embarrassment. “Kyp, it’s Endymion, okay? I was at your wedding.”
Serenity cleared her throat. “Master Skywalker has informed us that the Academies on Yavin IV, Dantooine and Coruscant have become quite crowded. They can‘t give everyone the proper training they need.” There was a twinkle in her eyes as she continued. “He and Mistress Jade would like you two to set up an academy here on Earth, with the possibility of one on Mars at a later date.”
Makoto’s jaw dropped. “Seriously?”
The queen nodded and held in some giggles with her right hand over her mouth. “They both believe that you two are ready for this.”
Kyp rubbed his chin in thought. “I know of some great places around here. The old-”
Endymion cut him off. “Actually, it might be best for you to not set it up around here.”
Kyp’s eyes narrowed. “What? But why?”
Endymion settled back in his throne and steepled his fingers in front of his face. “Crystal Tokyo’s still pretty new. People might believe that we’re training a secret army of world conquest.”
Serenity chipped in. “It also might not be a good idea to have all your eggs in one basket.”
Kyp and Makoto exchanged a glance. “Makes sense,” the Senshi of lightning said.
Kyp nodded, then turned to his beloved. “So, any idea where to set up, Mako?”
A thought crossed her mind. “Well…”
A presence behind her shook her out of her reverie. Makoto blinked twice and looked over her students. “Make sure to look over the diagrams of construction provided to you tonight. Tomorrow, you can begin gathering the parts for construction.” The students bowed and dispersed, leaving Makoto to stand up straight, her left hand gripping her double-bladed lightsaber tightly. “It’s been a while, Tenel Ka. How’s Stalla, Allana and Jacen?”
The Queen Mother of The Hapes Consortium swayed back and forth a bit, settling into a combat stance. There was a smile on her lips and her gray eyes shone with happiness. “My husband and daughters are fine, friend Makoto. They are touring the facility with Master Durron.”
Makoto slowly turned around, her legs spreading out slightly. “When the hell was the last time we dueled?”
Tenel Ka’s mind peeled back the layers of time. Her gray eyes turned foggy before she spoke. “2016, I believe. It was at Anakin and Hotaru’s wedding.” The Senshi of balance scowled. “Haruka and Michiru interrupted us then, so we never did finish the duel.” She unclipped her old rancor-tooth lightsaber from her belt and ignited it, sending out a turquoise blade with a snap-hiss. “All of our fights have been ties, with no actual winner.”
Makoto smirked. “Is that a fact?”
Tenel Ka scowled. “Only Jacen may make fun of that line, and that is a fact!” She deactivated her lightsaber, clipped it to the belt of her pants and held up her left hand. “Dathomir Crystal Power Makeup!” she shouted. A red mist enveloped her body, changing her clothes into the familiar Sailor Fuku of a Sailor Senshi. A half-second later, Sailor Dathomir stood and, with both arms, posed. “The question of who is better has gone unanswered for too long, and that is a fact!”
Makoto passed her lightsaber from her right hand to her left and held the former up to the sky. An ornate rod materialized in it as she shouted, “Jupiter Crystal Power Makeup!” A blizzard of bluish-white lightning enveloped her as she transformed into Sailor Jupiter. “You are correct, Tenel Ka!” Now is the time to put this to rest.”
The two eyed each other coolly before stepping forward, hands at the ready.
On the other side of the complex, King Jacen Solo and Jedi Master Kyp Durron looked to the sky. “I’ve got a bad feeling about this…” they both said.
*****
Sailor Dathomir held out her left hand and shouted, “Dathomir Heatwave!” The bluish flame already arcing around her prosthetic increased, streaming down to the open palm of her hand and shooting at Jupiter, who was already rolling to her right.
As soon as the Senshi of lightning got to her feet, she broke into a sprint and ran right at Tenel Ka. “Argh!” she yelled, swinging her double-bladed lightsaber overhead at Dathomir. The lithe and muscular queen blocked it with her own blade, but fell to one knee from the impact.
The redhead gritted her teeth and, with aid from the Force, rose to her feet, forcing Jupiter up and back. Jupiter disengaged and rotated the emitter in her hand, the lower blade extending and almost striking Dathomir.
In response, she simply let go of her rancor-tooth lightsaber and let herself fall back. The second Dathomir’s back hit the dirt, she rolled through and unsheathed her sakabato-milliseconds before one of Jupiter’s emerald blades slashed at her head. A few strands of reddish hair were sliced off, causing Dathomir’s gray eyes to narrow. “Stalla helped me with my hair today. That was not a good thing to do, and that is a fact!” She gave one big telekinetic push, sending Jupiter stumbling back a few steps. Dathomir then stepped forward and sent a thrust kick right at the only spot not covered by Jupiter’s blades-the point right between her ribs and her digestive system.
Jupiter’s emerald eyes widened and she gasped. She concentrated on ignoring the pain, but it was difficult.
Almost every student had gathered off to the side to watch. Jacen, his daughters Stalla, Allana and Kyp were in front. “Should we stop them?” Kyp asked.
Jacen half-smiled. “I guess you don’t know your wife that well, Kyp.”
Stalla, all of nine years old, looked up at her father. “Daddy, why are Mommy and Godmother Makoto fighting?”
Her twin sister looked up with an identical gaze of inquisitiveness. “Yeah. Mommy told us to talk first and work things out.“
Jacen chuckled nervously. “Oh, they’re not fighting. They’re merely… playing,” he said, waving a bit.
Allana’s eyes narrowed. “Daddy, why are you lying?”
The Hapan king’s face blanched. He turned to Kyp, but the slightly older man waved him off. “they‘re your daughters, you explain.”
Jupiter blocked another thrust kick, grabbing onto Tenel Ka’s right leg with her left hand. She then deactivated both blades of her lightsaber, stepped forward and punched Sailor Dathomir right in the face, using the lightsaber as an impromptu brass knuckle.
Blood spurted from Dathomir’s nose as her head snapped back. She stumbled back, her vision blurring and reverse-blade sword slipping form her fingers. The brunette Senshi closed the distance and aimed a series of punches at her, but Dathomir was able to block most of them.
The last one, she latched onto Jupiter’s right arm and, with aid from the Force, flipped her to the ground. She then did a mini-cartwheel that landed her right on top of Jupiter. Dathomir was able to get a few punches to the head before being thrown off.
The two got to their feet and held out their right hands. Jupiter’s double-bladed lightsaber leapt into her hand while Dathomir’s rancor-tooth lightsaber and sakabato slid into hers. The two then took a step forward-and stopped. Jupiter had one of her emerald-colored blades at Dathomir’s head, while Dathomir had her turquoise plasma blade a mere centimeter or so from Jupiter’s midsection.
Both ladies stood like that for an eternity before an odd sound came from them-laughter. An odd smile crossed Dathomir’s lips as she dropped her lightsaber away from her friend’s abdomen. “It would… appear that… we tied,” she said between musical sounding laughs.
Jupiter deactivated the two blades and wiped some tears from her eyes. “I guess so.” She stopped laughing just long enough to extend her hand to Dathomir. “We’re equal?”
Dathomir regained her composure before sheathing her sakabato and clasping Jupiter’s proffered hand, pumping it twice. “And that is a fact.”
Jacen, Stalla, Allana and Kyp approached the two. “Did you win, Mommy?” Stalla asked, her brown eyes looking up at one of the most important people in her life.
Allana jumped up a bit, arms waving around. “Yeah, did you?“
Dathomir reverted back to Tenel Ka with a flash of light, followed shortly by Jupiter. The Hapan queen knelt down, a large bruise under her right eye and her hair singed. “Mommy’s fine, my twin stars. I had something to work out with Godmother Makoto.” She patted her daughters on the shoulders. “Now, did you and Daddy have fun with Kyp?”
While the four of them talked, Kyp and Makoto stood off to the side. “I gotta go,” Makoto said, checking her wristwatch. “Zeth gets back to the gateway in about an hour, and I wanna be there for him.”
Kyp wrapped an arm around Makoto’s waist and kissed his wife. “Tell him I wish I was there, Mako. And ask about the fencing club. He told me he was interested in that.”
The brunette smiled at her husband of nearly a millennium. “I’ll do that, hon. I love you.”
Kyp’s pale cheeks reddened a bit. “I love you, too.” And with that, he watched her turn and make her way to a transporter station in one of the Academy’s buildings.
Kyp’s green eyes lingered on her until she disappeared. He then turned back to Jacen, Tenel Ka, Allana and Stalla. “So, any plans for the millennial celebrations?”
Jacen shrugged. “The Hapes Consortium is having a month-long holiday.” He grinned. “Tenel Ka and I are going on our third honeymoon.”
Tenel Ka’s gray eyes widened in mock surprise. She placed a hand to her chest and her breath fluttered slightly. “ ‘Third honeymoon’? When did we stop our first?” She wrapped her arm around Jacen’s shoulders, pulled him in and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
Stalla looked up at Kyp, pointedly trying to ignore her parents. “They want Aunt Lyria to baby-sit me, and so do I. She’s a good person.”
The elder Jedi Master smiled and patted the young child on her head. “I’m sure she is.”

Great post here! Zekk and Jaina are easily one of my favorite Star Wars couples. They really belong together. And 1000 years in the future is a very cool universe too. Kiba and Tahiri have gotten together I see...I still find that couple a little odd, but hey stranger things have happened. And Makoto and Tenel Ka having another fight...and ending up in a draw. Perfect fighters there with no clear victor...it should stay that way.
Loved the new post and looking forward to the next one.

Woah, lots of stuff in this update. I loved the beginning -- Zekk and Jaina eloping was too funny! And Han's reaction!
I suppose that was to be expected, though.
So, 1000 years in the future, eh? Interesting. The kids make me laugh. Loved "School Days."

Post 3/30: Two more arcs-and then new stuff! Doesn't that warrant a ?
Yes, a creepy vision. I'm good at those, aren't I?
Absolutely! (And thanks for the cell explanation!)
Han’s here, and that means something’s being done.
True, true. Can't always vouch for its effectiveness, but stuff will be happening...
The Tusken dropped his gaffi stick to the side and cocked his head a bit one way. [Really? Wait, when does that come in the week?] he asked, raising his hand and counting off his fingers. [Seven days in the week…]
Bwa haa! Fab. The poor little Tusken Raider is so cute!
*tusken raider yells and waves gaffi stick*
Jaded_Girl ---> o_O;;;
In a very frightening and intimidating way, of course! [face_nervous_smile]
Tahiri nodded. “I’ve got someone who can give me a lift there.”...Tahiri called up a list of numbers and names. “He’d better not be drunk!” she snarled.
Ohhhh, that was good! And I loved her watching Sailor Jedi instead of the news! Excellent!
Leia sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. “Jaina, I’m immortal. I’m never going to die. So please don’t give me any gray hairs, okay?”
I wonder if there's a hair dye that works through henshins.
~There, Dash’s droid Leebo and Guri checked on some cargo containers. “How are you?” Leebo asked.
~Tahiri shrugged. “Well, Dash almost made me ill, but I’m okay.”
Hee. Oh, how I love her. She's like this galaxy's Minako! ^_^
Jacen smiled and pulled her in for a noogie. “Hey, kid. How’s Tatooine?”
*squirms* SO... CUTE!!! *squeals*
Jacen tried to follow, but Jaina sent a message to her brother. Sorry, Jacen, but you can’t come.
*sniff* Poor Jacen. Them being twins and all.
Yay! We see Keope again!
I gotta go, but I'll comment on the 4/6 post (and probably the 4/13 post) soon!
Uppers!

baf-Thanks. I like them, too. Both tough on the outside, but vulnerable inside. Kiba and Tahiri is from SSM12. We RPed Naruto and YJK together and those two ended up together. Yeah, those two are equals.
SSM12-Yup. That was a filler arc, for lack of a better wor. There's a lot of stories to tell between Galaxia's defeat and the Charon attacking.
Idrelle-lol, thanks. Yeah, Han's a bit... over-protective, but it can be expected. I'm glad you like the kids. Serena's my favorite.
Jaded_Girl-It's all right... Nikki-chan. And I'm glad you like that new stuff's coming. Come on, you're Sailor Jaded_Girl! A mere Tusken can't scare you! lol, yeah. I guess Tahiri's sorta like Minako... a lot, actually. Yes, Jacen is cute. And can't wait to see your comments.
The first fight contains a scene that is mirrored in one of Jaded_Girl's excellent fanart pieces.
And... I get my wisdom teeth out on the 18th. Next post might be a little shorter than usual. Sorry.
Here we go!

Yavin IV
Mara Jade Skywalker hefted her lightsaber and activated it. The ancient weapon, once property of Anakin Skywalker, ignited and sent forth a brilliant-blue blade. “Are you sure you wanna do this?” she asked her opponent.
Lyria Skywalker brushed a lock of strawberry-red hair from her green eyes and held her lightsaber up to eye level. “I’m sure, Mom.”
Mara paused and admired her daughter for a second. She has her father’s kind face and demeanor. A second later, Mara advanced, all trace of the mother in her hidden. She stabbed at Lyria’s gut, but it was blocked and parried away. “We’ve gotta get ready for the celebrations,” Mara said while ducking a swing. “And don’t overextend yourself on swings like that, honey.”
Lyria nodded at both statements. “I think we should have the trainees do a talent show, exhibit their abilities.” She backpedaled, drawing Mara in before ducking a horizontal swing and stepping inside her mother’s guard. “And don’t let your guard down, Mom,” she said smirking.
Mara laughed and doubled up on her attack, stabbing. “I won’t Lyria. And nice feint.” The two lightsabers clashed and rubbed against each other, sending out a shower of sparks.
“I have a feeling I’ll be handling the youngsters,” Lyria growled out, her mood dropping just a tad.
Mara picked up on the tone of her daughter‘s voice. She parried Lyria’s yellowish blade away and swung at her legs, but Lyria hopped over it-and continued right over Mara’s head. “Are you okay with that?” Mara asked as Lyria twisted in midair and landed two meters from her mother.
“I’ll admit, it bothers me a bit,” she said. “Jacen, Jaina, Serenity, Rei and the rest always tapped me to watch the kids. It was okay when they were nine and ten, but most of them are teenagers now.” She sent a series of thrusts at Mara’s midsection, but all were expertly blocked. “And besides, I’ve got the entire Jedi Academy to run, not to mention my duties as Sailor Neo-Coruscant…” She paused. “Or am I Sailor Jedi? I can never remember.”
Mara turned away one of Lyria’s thrusts and swung at her shoulder. She swung as Lyria jumped and swung down, both blades meeting and sending out a shower of sparks and a bright light. “Oh, don’t worry. They should be old enough to be all right by themselves.” She paused and stepped back. “Well, we should keep an eye on Zeth and Serena.”
Lyria smiled at that. “You’ve got a point there, Mom.” She held up her lightsaber in the guard position and deactivated it. “Thanks for the duel and talk.”
Mara held her arms out to the side and smirked. “Anytime, Lyria.”

Jedi Master Tionne sat behind the Great Temple on the grass in front of three simple stone cairns. The first one had the name Kam Solusar was etched onto it, along with date of birth, date of death and the words ‘he died so others might live‘. The second had the name Meiou Setsuna etched onto it. It had no birth date or date of death, but had the words ‘she saved us all’ etched above an image of the time staff. The final one had the name Tionn’a etched into it. It had no birth date, but a death date and the words ‘family above all’ etched into it.
The Elven Jedi cleared her throat and began to speak. “Hello, Kam. Hello, Setsuna. Hello, Tionn’a. It’s been, what, a hundred years since I did this?” She sighed and placed her hand on her chest. “There’s still an ache here, even after a thousand years. I still, once in a great while, turn around and wonder, ‘what would Setsuna think about this?’ Or, ‘I’d better go tell Kam about this.’ Or ‘I wonder how Tionn‘a is doing?’“
Tionne leaned forward and stroked the grass with her hand. “I’ve gotten to become really good friends with Sannah. You’d be proud of her, Setsuna. She takes her job seriously, but pops out every now and then to say hi.” She chuckled for a moment, a memory coming to her. “There was this one time, she appeared right when Sarji and Lyria were taking out a smuggling ring in Wild Space. The time gate popped into existence right in the middle of a group of smugglers, knocking them back. Sannah stepped out, already transformed into Neo-Pluto-she still calls herself ‘Neo-Pluto‘, by the way-and had her time staff ready. The smugglers took one look at her and surrendered.”
She sighed. “Sarji and Lyria were a bit mad that she didn’t show up earlier, but Sannah looked them in the eye and said… wait, what did she say? Oh, right. ‘I showed up at the right time for the timeline.’ “
Tionne hugged her legs close to her body and rested her head on her kneecaps. “I have to go, but I’ll be back.” She kissed the tips of her fingers, brushed the ground in front of the cairns and rose to her feet. “I’ll be back sooner than last time,“ she said before walking off and around to the front of the Jedi Temple. She sensed Lyria exiting the hangar/training area and jogged over, waving. “Lyria, how are you this day?”
Lyria turned her head and smiled at her former teacher. “Oh, not bad. Worked some stuff out with Mom.”
Tionne’s silvery eyes glanced back at the Great Temple. “And it’s still standing?”
Lyria smirked at her. “Well, we need a bit of it for the millennial celebration. Ambassador Aino will be along in a week, and I want to impress her.”
Tionne cocked an eyebrow at her and her lips twitched. “Don’t you mean ‘Auntie Meanie?”
Lyria’s green eyes narrowed, but there was mirth in the glare. “Don’t you start, Tionne.” She paused for a moment. “How’s the Ossus cataloguing going?”
Tionne’s eyes darted about a bit as she sorted through the artifacts and logs. “I’ll be finishing up in a week. The lightsaber identifying the hardest.”
The younger woman nodded. “Yeah, that’s true.” She patted Tionne on the shoulder. “If you need help, just ask.”
Tionne smiled. “I shall, Lyria.”

Otherspace
Calaveras observed the actions of the Jedi on Yavin IV with detached interest. She had her arm outstretched and her hand held a shining orb of energy. Within it, the Sith Mistress could observe anything in the galaxy with them being none the wiser. She heard where Tionne would be and sneered. “Old fool, you are where I need to be. In a week‘s time, you die.”
She let the sphere fade away and turned to a gargantuan, grotesque Charon. “Ready the cloning chamber on Tatooine. I will have need of it.”
The eight-limbed humanoid tilted his head at her, saliva dripping from his fangs. “Why Tatooine, Darth Calaveras? Wouldn’t it be safer to use the machinery here?”
Calaveras snapped her head to the left and, with a tilt of her chin, telekinetically hurtled the three-meter tall warrior into a bulkhead, warping the durasteel with the impact. “The equipment I retrieved from Kamino is delicate and would not survive the jump to otherspace! Now go, worm!”
The Charon bowed his head and shambled off, his four legs carrying him far.
Calaveras took a calming breath and gripped the Sword of the Sith with her left hand. Soon, I shall have the perfect weapon against the Jedi Order and the Sailor Senshi. The New Republic and the Terran Confederation will die!
Chapter Three: Preparations
Crystal Tokyo, Imperial Palace
Neo-Queen Serenity sat in her chair and posted her head on her arm, willing herself not to go to sleep. Her secretary talked to her about the preparations for the millennial celebrations. “Now, you’ll be speaking at Jubaan High School tomorrow at noontime. Then you’ll be giving an address to the Senate about colonization practices in Sector 4564.”
Serenity held her hand up. “Please, Haruna. I know about the speeches. I wrote them, remember?”
Haruna nodded, then glanced back at her notepad. “So, you won’t be needing me?”
Serenity shrugged. “Take the rest of the day off, with pay.” The secretary’s mouth dropped open before she bowed and left Serenity’s office. The titular head of the Terran Confederation concentrated and levitated a tea cup from the counter over to her outstretched hand. “This all seemed so much simpler a few months ago. ‘Let’s have a big celebration to celebrate the first thousand years’.” She sighed and sank into her chair, wrinkling her dress. “I actually miss high school.”
A small black shape moved near her feet. “Of all the things I’ve heard you say, that is the one I least expected.”
Serenity rolled her blue eyes and kicked her feet at Luna, sending the small feline scurrying. “Oh, hush up!”
The black cat leapt up and into the queen’s lap. “Well, it’s true! I remember you hating school.” Luna’s yellowish eyes noticed a slight crease above Serenity’s eyes. “What is it? What’s wrong?”
“Oh, I remembered that Chewie died three hundred years ago. I’m wondering how Han and Leia are doing.”
Luna smiled and tilted her head in that weird way that only cats can do. “Did I ever tell you how proud I am of you?”
Serenity shrugged and sat back up. “I’m serious, Luna. I know they’ve gone to Ka-Kasha-”
Luna rolled her eyes. “It’s Kashyyyk, Serenity. Remember, Raaba as Sailor Kashyyyk?”
The queen opened her mouth slightly and nodded. “Oh, how could I forget?” She slowly got to her feet, allowing Luna to jump off with no difficulty.
“Where are you going?” the feline asked.
Serenity looked back and down, a sad smile on her face. “I’m gonna go check on some friends.”
*****
Kashyyyk
Han, Leia, Lowie and Raaba stood in front of a relatively small tree trunk. On it was an image of the mighty Chewbacca carved into the bark. An ancient bowcaster and baldric were nestled in a small hole right below, as if waiting for their master to return.
“Hey, bud,” Han said, running his fingers along the smooth bark. “I figure I’d stop by and say hi. The family misses you, of course.” The former smuggler stopped and cleared his throat. “The Falcon’s fine. Her worshipfulness finally talked me into donating it to a museum. Jaina made sure she’s being taken care of.” He blinked, remembering the last time he saw Chewie alive…
The Valley of Ruusan
[Leave me, Honor Brother!] Chewie snarled. [Let me delay them so you can live!]
Tuxedo Aldera brandished a rose and tossed it at a Charon warrior, hitting the arachnoid in the forehead and dropping it with a single flick of his wrist. “Are you crazy?” he shouted above the din of the approaching horde.
A snarl curled Chewie’s lips. [We are alone, with no backup and over a thousand warriors attacking us. The Falcon is behind us, but no way to reach it before being overwhelmed.] He placed a hand on his furred chest, the gray blending together. [Please, let me die with honor.]
Aldera’s eyes widened. “Chewie, no I-”
[Please!] his oldest friend roared. [I am old, and will soon depart for the Shadowlands. Let me go there with a roar in my throat and the enemy’s throat in my hands]
Aldera reached up and pulled off his mask. He threw two handfuls of roses at the Charon, killing the vanguard and blocking the advance of other Charon through the narrow valley. He suddenly hugged Chewie, tears flowing freely. “Damn it, I never saw…”
Chewie ruffled Aldera’s hair and growled softly. [Thank you.] He peeled off his baldric and handed it to Han. [To remember me by.]
A short bark of laughter escaped Han’s throat. “As if.” He saluted his friend before dashing to the Falcon, bounding off and reaching it within moments.
The ancient Wookiee turned and held his bowcaster at the ready, wishing he had his usual one. [Come at me,] he snarled. [Come at me and pave the way with your blood!]
Aldera arrived at the disc-shaped freighter and powered it up even as Charon spider-fighters flew overhead. Tears stung his eyes as he sealed it up and powered the ion engines up. “I’m coming for you!” he shouted.
The Falcon hovered on repulsorlifts, but all Aldera could see was a mass of Charon swarming over one spot on the ground. Their mandibles dripping saliva and their hands slick. “Oh…” he moaned. He slammed his gloved hand into the console, denting it. The ship rocked under him as fighters zeroed in peppering the unshielded hull with laser blasts.
Mechanically, Aldera gripped the controls and sent the Falcon out of the atmosphere, quad-lasers firing and blowing the Charon fighters apart, destroying the main body and sending the leg-like laser cannons flying. Within moments she left the planet’s gravity well and the engines flared. The Falcon’s forward sections stretched impossibly long before the aft hull snapped forward and a flash of light swallowed the ship.
Han blinked and returned to the present. He patted the image. “Thanks buddy.”
Leia stepped forward, a bouquet of flowers in her delicate hands. “Chewie, here you are. I know these were your favorites.” She placed them at the floor just below the hole with the bowcaster.
Lowie growled and roared a bit in Shyriiwook. [I do miss you, honored one. I hope the hunting is good in the afterlife. I have tried to live up to your example. Have I succeeded?] No answer came, and the tall, muscular Wookiee stepped back. [Perhaps someday, I shall.]
Raaba held her hand out and bared her fangs. [You taught me a lot,] she roared. [Thanks for being there for me, for letting me redeem myself and helping me to find my destiny.] She held up her hands and growled. [To Chewbacca!]
Leia, Lowie and Raaba turned and stepped back, leaving Han alone with his best friend. “I’ll be back, old pal. I don’t know quite when, but I’ll come and visit you again.” He turned, then paused and flashed the image a half-smile. “Oh, and be sure and give Malla a kiss for me, okay?” He turned and walked off.
Leia was beside him in a second, matching pace with him. “You okay?” she asked, threading her arm around his.
The former pilot of the Falcon shrugged. “I will be.”
Leia smiled and punched him on the arm. “You know what? I love you.”
Han rolled his eyes. “I know that.” He paused for a moment. “I love you too.” He leaned down and kissed her.
Behind the pair, Raaba and Lowie also talked a bit. [When should we go to Yavin IV?] he asked.
Raaba placed her hands on her hips and shook her head. [It had better be soon. The celebration is in about a week.]
The slightly taller Wookiee nodded and bared his fangs. [Good point, Raaba. We’d better pick up Alac at Crystal Alderaan as well.] The two followed Han and Leia. [I hope she’s doing well at school and fitting in,] he continued.
Raaba glanced up at him slightly and smirked. [With us as parents, she’s one of a kind.]

Yavin IV
One by one, various shuttles touched down in front of the Jedi Academy. A pair of ancient-looking eyes watched as his old friends arrived. Luke Skywalker, Jedi Master and former head of the Jedi Order, observed as his old friends and family arrived. Neo-Queen Serenity had arrived with her Endymion and Chibi-Usa, and Luke was looking forward to training the princess in the ways of the Force. He could feel her power from here. The Jedi Master cleared his throat and spoke. “How are you, Luna?”
The black cat bounded over and climbed up Luke’s leg, settling on the familiar spot on his shoulder. “Not bad, Luke. Serenity’s doing well, although she did express concern about Han and Leia.”
Luke’s expression darkened slightly as he remembered the anniversary of his old friend‘s death. “I should’ve been there. It was my fault.”
Luna’s head drooped a bit and she sighed. “Luke, it was a long time ago. And there was nothing you could’ve done. Chewie chose to sacrifice himself for Han, fulfilling his life debt.” Luke’s gaze returned to the jungle, but Luna could see the tears glittering in his eyes.
Two voices from behind startled the black cat.
“There you are!”
“What are you doing up here, Dad?”
Luke smiled and turned to the two most important people in his life. He hugged and kissed Mara and then gave Lyria a hug and peck on the cheek. “I was just getting a better perspective on things.”
Mara arched an eyebrow at him. “Come on, farmboy. We’ve gotta go hobnob with everyone.” Both she and Lyria grabbed an arm and mock-dragged him over to the stairwell leading down to the lower levels of the Great Temple.
They emerged from the main entrance and made their way down the hundred steps to the main landing field. Trainees and Knights were already putting up decorations around the Temple. Alema Rar-one half of the Sailor Ryloth team-was organizing the construction of a stage near the landing field. She turned and bowed to Lyria, lekku twitching somewhat.
The Jedi Master nodded to her and then turned back, watching as three shuttles landed. Han, Leia, Lowie and Raaba emerged from the first. Han glanced back at the sleek vessel and rolled his brown eyes. “So, why precisely did I donate the Falcon to the museum again?” he groused.
Leia simply wrapped one of her arms around his and pulled him in close. “Honey, the ship was falling apart-literally. It was time.”
Neo-Queen Serenity, King Endymion, Chibi-Usa, Neo-Queen Jaina, King Zekk and Serena exited the second. “Last time we carpool,” Zekk grumbled.
Endymion nodded. “We’ll borrow our own shuttle from you next time, okay?”
Zekk’s green eyes shone a bit as he patted his friend on the shoulder. “Deal.”
Serena and Chibi-Usa, meanwhile, ran up to Lyria. Both bowed formally to her. “It’s good to see you again, Aunt Lyria,” Serena said. Her face was almost split by her grin.
Lyria smiled, then looked over at Jaina and Serenity. “I’m not watching the kids this time!” she shouted.
Jaina and Serenity exchanged a look. “Plan A?” Jaina asked.
Serenity thought for a moment, then shook her head. “I think plan B would be better this time.”
The final shuttle settled a bit before the main hatch opened and the landing ramp extended. Queen Mother Tenel Ka Djo-Solo, King Jacen Solo, Jedi Master Durron Makoto, Jedi Master Kyp Durron, Stalla Solo, Allana Solo and Zeth Durron exited.
Kyp turned to Jacen. “Thanks for the ride,” he said.
Jacen smiled and nodded. “It was a pleasure. Besides, I always like going through that inter-dimensional gateway between our universes. I get all tingly.”
Kyp chuckled at that and turned to his son, but Zeth was out of sight. The Jedi Master located him a half-second later and he turned to Makoto. “Mako, guess where Zeth is.”
Makoto turned and locked her green eyes with Kyp’s. “Honey, I don’t need to look.”
*****
Zeth stood in front of Serena, hands clasped behind his back as he projected an air of calm that belied the flip-flopping of his stomach.
Serena, on the other hand, was hopping from one foot to another and fidgeting. Her face betrayed every emotion she felt. “So, did you get any homework done before you left?”
Zeth’s green eyes shone and he flecked a strand of jet-black hair out of his face. “I did a bit of the report for Biology. I also finished the report on the First World War.”
Serena nodded and smiled brilliantly at that, her teeth almost flashing. “Oh, that’s good! So, what do you think we’ll be doing here? I bet Lyria’s got some training regimens for us.”
Zeth looked up and scanned the area, finally finding Lyria. “Ah, there she is.”
The Jedi Master looked up and waved at the two before walking over. “Hey, you two,” she half-shouted. “How’s it going?”
Serena bowed her head. “Hello, Mistress Skywalker.” Zeth followed suit.
Lyria rolled her eyes at the pair of teens. “Kids, it’s Aunt Lyria while not training. Okay?”
Zeth thought about that for a moment. His head quirked to the side as he spoke. “Ah, I’m not blood-related to you, so-”
Lyria cut him off with a sharp chop of her hand. “You’re family, Zeth. Blood never really mattered in this family.” She then glanced at the two. Besides, you might be related to me soon enough.
Near the opposite side of the landing field, a large, ornate, black door appeared. The stylized doors creaked open and Sailor Neo-Pluto stepped out, time staff in hand. Pluto’s ancient yellow eyes looked about, and she smiled. “It’s been a while.”
Behind her, Ten’ou Haruka, Kaiou Michiru, Anja Gallandro and a two men stepped out. The first man had dark skin, short, curly hair, brown eyes and a mischievous expression on his face. The second was lighter-skinned, had blond hair with matching beard and blue eyes. Both appeared to be in their mid-twenties, but were almost half a millennia old.
Isaac Ten’ou, adopted son of Haruka, and John Gallandro, biological son of Anja, stepped forward and addressed their mothers. “Can we take a starship next time?” Isaac asked.
Haruka narrowed her blue eyes at him. “Walking can do you good,” she stated.
Isaac shrugged, then punched John in the arm. “Let’s go see the kids.”
John nodded and followed his best friend to the crowd.
Haruka checked her Space Sword and lightsaber. Michiru observed her and shook her head. “Expecting a fight?” she asked, rubbing her chin in thought.
The Senshi of the wind glared at her best friend, but said nothing.
Neo-Pluto was enveloped in light and, a half-second later, reverted to Sannah of the Melodies. She sighed and closed her eyes, wishing for time to stop. But it couldn’t, and Sannah knew what was coming. She leaned on her staff and looked to the sky.
Behind her, Haruka picked up on her emotions and placed a hand on her shoulder. “You all right?” she asked.
Sannah turned her head fractionally and shrugged. “Just need a bit of time off is all.”
Haruka arched an eyebrow at the lie, but said nothing.

Great post! I love seeing characters interact with each other. And of course plans of Calveras is being set in motion once again. Interestingly enough, it seems like being patient is the Dark Side's greatest weapon. Although it lasted a short time, after roughly 1000 years of silence, the Sith very nearly wiped out the Jedi order. But of course with senshi in the picture...the Dark Side will have a fight on their hands regardless of their preparations.

Calveras intrigues me. Wonder how they're going to deal with him and his plans this time. Loved the sparring scene with Lyria and Mara at the beginning.
