	POST TWO!!! She quickly sensed her brother's mood shift ever so slightly into panic. I really like this description. It's realistic, but not belittling. Just sort of a "oh man oh man what have we gotten into" reaction. Awesome. "To top it all off, Tenel Ka says the galaxy feels 'different'...Jaina immediately reached out with the Force, letting it flow beyond her to beyond....There was less life in this galaxy, and it was concentrated on the outer rim, not in the galactic core where it should be. SO cool. His Coruscant street smarts and her survival skills honed on Tatooine being the deciding factors. In retrospect, the two made a contrasting pair. Zekk was tall, serious-looking and was clad in a black jumpsuit with a vest over it. His emerald eyes constantly scanned the surrounding area for any threats. Tahiri was shorter and had a wide grin plastered on her face. She was clad in an orange jumpsuit with bare feet. Plus, she kept a constant stream of chatter going. Aw, they make a cute little pair, don't they? Great contrast! Question: if anyone passed them, would Tahiri sound like she was speaking gibberish, or would she essentially be speaking English? "I do not wish to cause you pain in this," she said. "But you must die so the future isn't altered!" looks grimly over the latest novels Believe me, Puu-chan, that ain't a bad thing. Zekk's face grew beet-red in anger. "Listen to me you kriffin' barve! Get back to the fratzing Rock Dragon now or else Mini-Daala here's gonna catch them by surprise and kill them. Now go!" I'd run, after that. But it was kinda funny to see him lose his temper... and civility! The female in the lead had the most bizarre hairstyle Zekk had ever seen. Twin ponytails were tied in back and reached down to her ankles. They were knotted in thick, almost Death Star like balls at the base of her skull. She began talking rapid-fire in the unknown language, all the while gesturing oddly. laughs Ah, Usagi-chan! What an entrance. Especially that last line! Though to be fair, even when you can understand what she's saying, she still doesn't make a lot of sense... Tahiri simply stared, dumbstruck at the events. Then, an idea seized her. The young girl ran at the group, arms outstretched. She stopped halfway between Zekk and the group, dropped to her knees and shouted. "We surrender!" She closed her eyes and waited… Ladies and gentlemen: the smartest gal in either galaxy! Go Tahiri! You saved the day in so many ways! Up! -----signature----- L/M since reading HttE in '96. 	Post el numero tres!!! Tsuskino Usagi was having a perfectly marvelous day. She was fairly certain she had done her taxes correctly earlier today, and now she was enjoying a hot fudge sundae with her boyfriend and soulmate Chiba Mamoru. laughes insanely at "fairly certain" In short, a crisis was absolutely fated to happen. I'm not sure if I like this better, or the fact that it took Usa-chan three minutes to find her communicator! Haruka felt a sudden gust of wind, and Usagi was gone. She looked around and saw her at the table stuffing her face with food. Ami, Haruka and Hotaru were doing their best to shield themselves from the flying food, but to no avail. She is SO cute! ^_^ Sailor Uranus AKA Haruka unsheathed a jewel-encrusted sword from her side. "Let's just kill them now!" she snarled. sighs at the predictability of those wacky outers The small girl suddenly ran at them. Sailor Uranus readied her sword, while a blue light began glowing from Mercury's hands. What happened next surprised and shocked everybody. Instead of mutating into some demon, she simply stopped, knelt down, threw both arms in the air and shouted in English! This really is a hilarious visual, especially as they're expecting mutation. Tuxedo Mask, as usual forgotten until now, spoke up. "I believe she said 'We surrender'." He stepped forward and calmly walked toward the girl. "Can you tell them your name?" Ah, but Mamo-chan is so patient and always there when we need him! The elder Senshi could only nod, having been taken aback by the sudden turn of events. Was I wrong? Usagi can be naïve, but her judgment is almost always sound in matters such as this. She looked away, not sure what to do. A rare occurrence for her. I just love Usagi! And poor Pluto! Jaina and Tenel Ka watched as Zekk, Tahiri and almost a dozen human females came marching up to the Rock Dragon. Jaina's eyes narrowed as she directed a version of her mother’s Glare of Death upon her boyfriend. "So, would you mind explaining who those ladies are?" cannot contain giggles And ladies in incredibly short skirts at that! As the two shook hands, Zekk continued. "You both have something in common. Both of you are royalty of destroyed planets." Way to find stuff in common, Zekk... ~Tenel Ka's eyebrows shot up. "Ah, aha. And I assume your mother was Force sensitive?" ~Usagi smiled. "Yes, she was very sensitive and kind." ~Jaina let a snort of laughter escape her mouth. She turned away to cover it, but the brown-haired lady suddenly found herself confronted by an angry brunette. "Don't laugh at Usagi!" Makoto said, grabbing Jaina by the wrist. ~In a flash, Makoto's hands were knocked away by a well-placed chop from Tenel Ka. "Do not touch her," Tenel Ka said, her eyes burning with a cold fire. This is an AWESOME set-up. Everybody's personalities interacting, contrasting and conflicting with minimal fuss. Well done, Striker! Jaina turned her head and saw Jacen, Lowie, Anakin, Raynar and Lusa. "Well, looks like the gang's all here." She quipped. And let the introductions begin! 	Jaded_Girl-yeah. The US tax code is... confusing. ^_^ So I've no idea what the Japanese version would be like. Yes, Usa-chan is kawaii. Not so much the Outers, as Tenou 'What questions?' Haruka. 	ONE TWO THREE FOUR! NOW I SHALL POST EVEN MORE! ~A dark cloud appeared above his prison. He heard a voice in his mind, not unlike the other voices in his head. This one, however, actually sounded calm. ~Greetings, my young apprentice. I have been awaiting you. Now how do you want this? If I'm replying as if I've never read any of it before, my reaction would be "AHHH!!! What a perfect blend of the Sailor Moon and Star Wars universes!!!" If I'm replying with my current level of knowledge, it would be more along the lines of "Yet again I am amazed at your ability to merge the two universes." Both universes have entity-merging possession. Ergo, the obvious choice for first villian. What is amazing is your ability to actually realize and apply the things in common. (All these comments even more emphatic during the cloning tanks/youma-of-the-day arc following! Have I mentioned lately that I think that's kriffin' brilliant?) Jadeite's conflicting desires are also very interesting. Desperation for survival combined with being (with Nephrite) more independent and individualistic among the generals. His desire for autonomy through release will require sacrificing his complete autonomy through possession. Neat. Without that two kilogram hunk of metal, the Rock Dragon-and everyone on board-would be stuck on this Earth forever. Big things come in little packages. And the rapidly-learning Ami-chan is SO cute! ^_^ One such friendship was between Haruka and Lusa. The tall blond looked the centaur square in the eye and snorted. "I don't think you have a chance against me," she said, blowing a lock of hair out of her eyes. "I am the wind." sigh Haruka's arrogance aside, I think you and I will just have to agree to disagree on this race. gives Striker an ysalamiri stuffed-animal as a peace offering Jaded_Girl starts playing the "Rocky" theme in anticipation Makoto's green eyes burned a hole into Tenel Ka. The warrior princess returned the stare, and their gazes locked into a staring contest. "I hear from Jacen that you're the 'brawn' of your little group," Makoto said. Tenel Ka's eyebrows arched in surprise. She spoke to Jacen? The 'karate maniac' smirked at the reaction. "Yeah. You know what? He sort of reminds me of my old boyfriend." OH NO SHE DIDN'T!!! Jaded_Girl switches CDs and start's playing Prodigy's "Smack my **** Up"* Inside Tenel Ka's mind, a tiny voice spoke up. Do we really want to provoke her? Hmmm. Yes and no. Loved the whole fight, but especially loved the visual timing of She stepped forward, wrapped the stump of her left arm around Makoto's head and flipped her onto her back. Before she could mount any defense, Tenel Ka unclipped her lightsaber and ignited it, sending a turquoise beam shooting forth from the emitter plate. The immediate snap-hiss in my mind totally invoked a gleeful squeal. Excellent job, as usual! It took a full three seconds before the Senshi realized that Tenel Ka had read her mind. Makoto shrugged. Ah, well. Rei can read minds, and she's okay. What's one more psychic among friends? The two new friends began walking back to the Rock Dragon. Mako-chan is SO cute! 	One, two three, four five! He now sat in the ships' lounge and half-heartedly read through an electronic book called The Fall, Rise and Fall of Xim the Despot. Oh my gosh, I LOVE that title... Although the youngest Solo found the Sailor Senshi fascinating, he didn't know enough about them to form a concrete opinion. Therefore, he stayed away. Therefore, he had no one to talk to. Therefore, he was bored. Silly boy. Though, to be fair, I myself am friendly but not social. So I don't think I can criticize. ...but the most striking thing about her were her violet eyes. From one angle, they appeared full of light and laughter. From another; they were cold, dead and emotionless. SO cool! Anakin flashed back to when Mizuno Ami showed them the miniature translators she had built. She had nothing to use except bits of metal in her backpack and circuit boards from an ancient calculator, and she still built four functional translators for her friends. Ladies and gentlemen, MacGuyver in a miniskirt! "It's not magic, and it's not science. It's somewhere…in-between." Way to explain it in-depth, Professor Hawking. She'll be very impressed. ~Anakin thought for a second. "Hotaru, would you transform for a minute?" ~The young woman looked at him in confusion. Why would he want me to do that? Well it's certainly not because you'll be naked for a split-second!!! That's not the reason AT ALL, he SWEARS!!! The youngest Solo nodded. "My father's from Corellia, the gambling capital of the galaxy." And the cheating capital of the galaxy too, no doubt. "Yes! There's a half-dozen proton torpedoes in the hold. Tenel Ka's grandmother insisted she have them to repel assassination attempts." Jaina ignored Ami's look of confusion as she began talking rapid-fire. Ta'a Chume is putting Batman to shame in the "crazy prepared" department. ~She immediately struck a pose and shouted. "People need sleep in order to-" ~She never finished as Jaedite raised his arm...and bolts of bluish-white lightning shot at her! No fair! He didn't give her time to finish! Jaedite chuckled as he walked toward her. "Sailor Mercury! It's good to see you again. How's Moon and Mars?" They want to introduce you to a sweet little girl named Sailor Jupiter... 	Jaded_Girl-Thanks. It was based off an old book title I saw about the Roman Empire. I couldn't criticize Anakin, either, That's me to a sad tee on occasion. I so wanna write a sequel-era fic where Macgyver's a rebel agent. Well, someone like Macgyver. Ah, he doesn't know about that with her yet! Ta'a Chume is crazy prepared, yes. 	The sixth post is fraught with PERIL!!! It was Tuxedo Mask, Chiba Mamoru's powered up form.... The Youma inwardly groaned-and telekinetically grabbed him, throwing him into the side of a building! Bet he didn't see that one coming! (And, I imagined the Spanish guitar Tuxedo Kamen theme abruptly ending with a record needle scratch! ) The younger Solo bore holes in the man. "I can't believe it. How is this possible?" He pointed at Jaedite, who was staring back with equal intensity. "Your new body looks good on you, Emperor Palpatine!" It's gotta be creepy, having a connection with that man. shudder Jaina's lightsaber was parried right out of her hand, sending the violet blade flying. The broadsword disappeared and he placed his palm on her chest and pushed, sending her flying into a storefront. Good thing he didn't impale her. Gotta love the supervillian hubris! Tahiri hefted her transformation wand. "How do these work? Is there a button?" dies laughing, but in a completely fond and not-at-all-mocking way Jaedite looked at him and gestured at the remains of a mailbox. The blue box rose up and shot at Zekk, nearly hitting and killing him. There's something totally undignified about being killed, or almost killed, by a mailbox. A low whistle even escaped his lips as he beheld Jaina. The miniskirt'll get ya every time! "And I'm Sailor Tatooine! What you do is evil, and I can't forgive you for that. No, sir. No forgiveness from me. Or my friends either." Hee hee hee! Love it. ~Luna ran over to her and bounded into her lap. "Usagi! Wake up!" You're missing something really cool! The blond mumbled. "I don't want to get up, Mom." A heart-shaped blast of pure energy flew and hit Jaedite at near subsonic speeds. He barely had time to look death in the face and scream before he was destroyed.... The two touched sabers, destroying Palpatine's spirit for all time. An echo of a scream could be heard in the mind of all. And GOOD RIDDENCE! 	Lucky seven! Jacen stepped forward and grabbed the hand. He held it up and lightly touched her wrist, feeling for a heartbeat. Dismay colored his face, as he felt none. Brrr! Creepy! A sudden cry diverted her attention to the right. Tenel Ka stood there clad in bright-green lizard-and once more missing her left arm. Mua ha haaa... Lovely foreshadowing... Hotaru let out a moan of pain as consciousness returned to her. Her violet eyes opened, settling on Anakin. "My knight has come to rescue me," she mumbled. Anakin blushed, while Haruka eyed him suspiciously. edges away from Haruka-chan Run, Anakin! It's like mama bear AND papa wolf at once! She sat back and smiled. Now then, she had read reports about pirates in the Corellian Sector. I wonder if those ruffians could use a little dose of love and justice? Pfft! Small fry! 	Wow...it's sure taken me awhile to do this, but better late than never right? Survey 1. Did you like this fic? yes, very much. Definitely the best Sailor Moon/Star Wars fic that I've read. Already read this twice all the way through and will most likely do so again. 2. If you read the original, was this an improvement? I did read the original...about 2 years ago. I don't remember too many differences except for Jag being a more likable character in this one. The biggest difference I see from the original is that your character dialogue is not bunched up together. When multipule characters talk in the same paragraph it's kinda hard to read...although I didn't have too much trouble. 3. On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being bad and 10 being great, what would you rate this? No fic is perfect but considering how different Sailor Moon and Star Wars are to each other and how well you wrote this fic...I'd say a 9.9. 4. How was my action? Your action was very well done. Better than what I've managed to do so far anyway. I could definitely visualize what was going on. 5. How was my romance? well done and very believeable. Love the interaction between the different couples and although I do love a Tahiri/Anakin pairing, Anakin/Hotaru is pretty believeable too. 6. How was my humor? Humor? What's that? Lol...j/k. I loved it. Very appropriate for the moments it was used and Jacen's jokes are always pretty cool. 7. How was my drama? VERY good. There were several moments that I was on the edge of my seat hoping that the characters would be alright. And tears were in my eyes when some of the characters died. 8. If you weren't a fan of Sailor Moon, could you still follow along? I became a fan of Sailor Moon at least 18 months before I found this story. 9. Did the other franchise inserts add to the universe, or distract? They added to the story quite nicely. 10. Was my Jag an improvement over the previous version? How is he compared to canon? You definitely gave him a better personality in this version. Compared to the canon? I don't really know...parts of my memory are being supressed for some reason. Can't imagine why... 11. How was my Danni? Loved her during the short time she was in the fic. Definitely had quite the cheerful personality...and she'll be missed. 12. Did the deaths seem unnecessary and NJO-ish, or a natural and inevitable ending for the characters? The deaths were quite well done for the most part. Although us fans don't want our favorite characters to die, if it's done well then it's more bareable. 13. Please use this space to praise DarthIshtar for the vignettes she wrote Right to Remain Silent was very funny and loved the banter between Han and Mara. Shadows Shared captures both Anakin and Hotaru quite well. They are kindred souls understanding of each other. They complete each other and together are very strong. Keeping You in Mind is a great Kyp and Makoto piece for first becoming aquainted. That pair works really well together. 14. Please use this post to praise the fanart Jaded_Girl and my RL friend Autumn drew They are both great artists, they capture the characters very well. 15. please use this space to advert any fics you've written. Alright...I have 3 fics up right now on www.fanfiction.net 1. http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2825253/1/Into_the_Universe_of_Anime Into the Universe of Anime is a multi-Anime crossover(major ones are Ranma 1/2, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball) featuring two half Japanese-American siblings that got into an Anime world via a virtual reality malfunction from 2030. The story is currently in the VERY early stages of a massive rewrite and will likely have a lot of things added and removed. If anyone would like to check it out in it's present form though feel free to do so. Just after Buffy Summers' second death at the end of Season 5, Sakura becomes the new Slayer. Only the first chapter is up so far, but I do have some ideas where to take it. You can expect Sakura to go to Sunnydale within a few chapters(and well before Buffy comes back from the dead). 16. If you have not done so, please go back, read the first post and write a review on it, as if reading it for the first time. Ok... Wow! Seriously? A crossover between Sailor Moon and Star Wars?! With the YJK Star Wars characters to boot! The two franchises' are quite different from each other but I'm really anxious to see if you can make it work. Not really a specific moment really, but I loved the battles, romantic moments between couples, and humorous moments. 18. What were your least favorite moments? Hmm...when Setsuna, Kam, Wedge, Wes, and Danni died. 19. What do you like about my writing? It's easy for the reader to visualize the things going on and imagine him or herself there. 20. What can I improve? I'm sure you can improve as a writer, but what you can improve...lol I don't really know. You're very good already. 21. I am planning to rewrite an old SW/ST crossover. When it goes up, would you like me to PM you about it? Already done, thanks. 22. Who were your favorite villians? Your least favorite? Favorite are probably the Charon, Brakiss/Clones, and Galaxia. Least favorite...the Vong. 23. Did you like the opening themes? Loved them. It was like watching the openings to the Sailor Moon seasons. 24. Finally, why did you read this? It was(and is) a good escape from reality. And of course I love most of the characters in the story.
