Woohoo - I am up to date at last. I'm really enjoying all the mystery in this story with Dumbledore obviously knowing more than he's letting on about the hologram book, and a lot of things probably, notably why he's letting Jaina stay on. The conflict between Jaina and Jacen is good because it's adding complications.
I loved the Weasley Christmas scenes with all the joking and then the Christmas jerseys. LOL Great stuff. I'm really enjoying Anakin, of course, and can't wait to see what he and Ginny get up to. 
I felt sad for poor Jaina seeing her family and friends in the mirror, and the division between her and Jacen is making it very hard for her.
Lovely balance between humour and drama. I'm very curious about the visitor in the holo and also about who came down in the supposed "meteor". Lots of good questions waiting to be answered.

Post another soon please!! It's great to see both of my all time favorite movies together!! I hope that during the story luke, leia, han, and mara will come to earth and i especially hope that that the other meteor is theirs!!!!!!!!

I've finally caught up with this amazing story and I'm still loving it!!!
“What in the name of the Force is going on?” she exclaimed.
Anakin wiped off the smears of grey ash and grinned at her. Beside him, Ginny did the same, trying to brush ash out of her long red hair.
“Hey, Jaya,” he said impishly. “We were bored. How’s life at Hogwarts?”
 Too funny! Love how Anakin and Ginny just decided to drop by. Thanks for the pms and great updates!!

Hi all!
So... I though I'd just leave a proper message saying that I'm officially taking a break. Usually I like to deny that fact whenever I end up disappearing from the boards for an extended period of time, but this time that's not going to work. Due to issues with school and auditions for university (that's what happens when you apply for music and theatre  ), I have to leave my WIPs unfinished until I can manage my fanfic writing hobby again. Right now, I don't have the time and I can't afford to make the time. Life kind of has to come before fan fic, right?  Anyways, hopefully I'll be back sometime in June after school's done. I mean to finish all of my WIPs at some point.
I'll be back and that's a promise.

Okay, well, school's ending pretty soon. I'm done on the 20th -- that's when I write my last exam. And because of that, I've decided that I'll be able to finish that last chapter that's about 50% done and finally get this fic moving again. It's been out of commission for such a long time  that it's about time. I was originally going to wait until I finished my other main WIP before I started working on it again, but since I still have 30 chapters to go on that one, that won't be happening for a while. Thank you all for your continued interest and bearing with me -- I'm aiming to have the next chapter done by June 30th.

Oh fine.
325 word preview, and I'm not saying where in the chapter this occurs.
“But Jaina that could be really dangerous!” Hermione exclaimed.
Jaina shrugged. “So?”
“I don’t think you should poke your nose in things that you don’t really understand, Hermione,” Jacen said.
Hermione sighed, looking disgruntled. “Fine, have it your way.”
“Anakin, you should really get some sleep,” Jaina said. “We’ll have to do our exploring by night since if we do it by day, people are going to notice that you’ve never been here before – especially the teachers.”
“Do you want the Invisibility Cloak, then?” Harry asked. “You can borrow it, if you want… And you could still explore by day.”
“And have more of a chance of bumping into people,” Jaina said. “Thanks for the offer, Harry, but it’ll probably be best if we explore by night.”
“Tonight?” Anakin asked.
“Yeah,” Jaina replied, her eyes hardening. “Whatever’s going on is not good. And if it has something to do with the Shadow Academy, then I think you and Ginny should leave Hogwarts as soon as possible.”
Anakin nodded. “All right, Jaya.”
There was another long pause.
“We should probably let you sleep, Anakin,” Hermione said. “Come on, we can fit in some more studying.”
Ron groaned and rolled his eyes. “You know, exams are ages away, Hermione.”
“Ten weeks,” she snapped back. “And that’s not ages, Ron. That’s like a second to Nicolas Flamel.”
“Yeah, but we’re not six hundred and years old,” Ron retorted.
“Who’s Nicolas Flamel?” Anakin asked sleepily, already drifting off.
“He made the Philosopher’s Stone,” Jaina told him. “Now go to sleep.”
As soon as Anakin drifted off to sleep, Jaina, Jacen and their friends left the room. Jacen went back to Ravenclaw Tower to regroup with his friends while Jaina, Harry, Ron and Hermione trooped off to Gryffindor Tower to collect their books before going down to the library for a study session. Jaina contemplated falling asleep while studying – only the Force knew how long she would be awake tonight.
The chapter is finished, but Nat needs to beta it. She's getting back from vacation on Tuesday, and I've asked her to beta it first out of the two things I sent her (the other is a chapter for This Time Around). Once she gets it done, I'll post it. It might even be done the betaing process before the 30th.
