	Disclaimer: None of this is mine. Season of Pain Chapter Seven: All too Easy "That's more than enough candles, Ben. You'll set off the fire suppression system if you light any more." Zoe Afyon scowled at her best friend, frustrated at his antics. "What is it with you and fire?" "I like fire, and it likes me." Ben grinned mischievously as he telekinetically accelerated the molecules in the air near another taper, causing the wick to sprout into flame. "Nobody else can control it like I can." "Maybe that's because you're such a hothead." Rolling her black eyes, Zoe sighed. "You really need to cool down." The door chime interrupted the argument, much to Zoe's relief. "Enter." Jacen and Tenel Ka walked into the stateroom, taking the seats the adolescent apprentices offered them. After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Tenel Ka voiced the reason for the visit. "During yesterday's battle, I felt a strange sensation, almost as if someone were trying to boost my skill and confidence, a sensation felt also by Jacen and Master Durron. I was wondering if you felt it as well, my padawan." "No, master." Zoe replied, her puzzlement evident on her round face. "What were you doing during the battle?" Jacen asked gently. "I got scared and was meditating." Fidgeting nervously with her jet black hair, the girl answered. "But my meditation did not go normally, all I could think about was the battle and how it was going." "Fascinating," Tenel Ka responded, raising an eyebrow. "I think you may have a rare gift, young one. I'm sure you've heard of Battle Meditation, and it's ability to affect entire armies. It seems you instinctively used it yesterday, allowing for the ease of our victory." "But ... how can that be ... Battle Meditation is something out of legends and ballads. No Jedi is said to have used it in centuries ... and it never manifest itself in one as young as me." Eyes wide with disbelief, the apprentice gasped every word. "And that is why you must learn to use your gift more effectively." Jacen managed. "To waste this would be criminal." "Lucky you, Zoe." Ben chimed in, irreverent. 	I read both chapters. I loved them both. It's good to see Leia getting in on the action. And Ben being a pyro is interesting. I have to say I'm quite intrigued by Ben .
