	Snag! Just have to reread before replying. Reply: My first thought was "Wow. Ben's old." But of course he would be... everyone else is. It's still a new concept for me to think of these characters as this age, but you're writing it so well that I just have to remind myself every once in awhile. ”You know, ‘the look.’” Ben shrugged. With a devious grin, he decided to press his luck. “The one you get on your face every time anyone mentions the name Jag Fel.” Ha! Score one for Ben! “Well, it started over a conversation about Jacen and the Killik crisis. Jag made a comment, and I – being typical me – jumped him for it.” That's definitely Jaina. “Nothing. He just… stood there for a few minutes. Then he said I was wrong. And that someday he hoped to prove it to me…” Jag's still so darn noble. “He said, ‘I don’t want to.’” This really echoed something of Jag and Jaina's first kiss in the NJO. Was it intentional? Either way, very good. The whole conversation about the estate was very natural. I like how it occured just as Jaina was heading out the door. And it made sense that she'd question it but not pick up on anything from Ben. I bet her mind's really preoccupied right now. And I knew it! I knew Ben knew what was going on at that estate. Jaina, Jaina, Jaina. That's not the way to live happily ever after. “He said, ‘I don’t want to.’” That's all I have to say about that. But what is Ben up to? 	The main investor and developer – a defense company out of Corellia called Protechnologies – requested that area of land as a private estate for one of the company higher-ups. Oh, really? 	Why do I have a feeling that certain Fel is the owner of the land near Jedi Academy And I love how you showed Jaina's emotions in this post. Superb job. 	Great chapter! I really like the interaction between Jaina and Ben, and of course the way he is able to challenge her. 	A year! “No, I mean the look you get when we mention him now. The one filled with love and longing. And maybe a bit of regret, though you mask that one better.” He watched with a mixture of pain and amusement as Jaina’s face began to mirror the exact thing he described. This time the look came with an extra helping of regret. He decided to keep the conversation light for the time being. “See – that face.” I love the way you've worked Ben into the story. He's a good friend for her. Dare I say, Jacen-like, without all the crazy. I'm glad someone else thinks they'd be good friends. “Fault? He hasn’t called or tried to contact me in that time span, Skywalker. Not once.” Jaina pointed her finger at Ben as if he were to blame. She paused to think after she was mostly finished. Finally she sighed. “Mostly mine, I suppose.” Oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who does that. So much like her father there- fabulous. “Greetings, Devan. Is the master of the house in today? It seems the timetable has been moved up a bit…” I knew Jag wasn't giving up. I can't wait for her to storm out there into the biggest surprise of her life. It's a good thing Jag enlisted Ben's help. 	Ah my wonderful beta... See I thought I had replied here a while ago..but then realized I was in Pittsburgh having computer trouble..so it never went through... Needless to say, shame on me! Telanna'Tani this is great! What a unique concept--and one that is tres tough to do--I mean its gotta be hard to think of Jag and Jaina as the same people we know but also very different, having gone through thier lives away from one another... I loved seeing Ben--even twenty years younger I can't imagine him at forty. And this mysterious house...I wonder who the occupant is.... Hopefully the older, wiser Jaina can realize her temper gets the best of her every time... FANTASTIC job so far. 	Voz, Hmmmm is that Ben Skywalker doing a little meddling in matters of the heart? And tsk-tsk Jaina, did she not learn that she can only push him away just so many times? Well it appears that after 30 years Jag is not taking it anymore. Again the texture and detail (I now picture that Ithorian food comes in small, square, white cartons with metal handles) really liven this piece, giving it a true SW feel. I like the "two Jainas" idea too and that Ben understands the merged Jaina would be even better. Wonderful work. This update really lifted my mood after a yukky week of DRL... in a word HOPE; Jaina may have screwed it up again but there is always tomorrow morning! 	Eek! Sorry I haven't commented in awhile. This is for the past two posts. In the first post I really liked the logic in why Jaina and Jag should take it slow. And how they both knew it, it was just a beautiful conversation. In the last post, speaking of conversations, I LOVED Jaina's talk with Ben. And the argument she and Jag had sounded very realistic, I could totally see Jaina letting something stupid like that slip, and Jag bringing up stinging memories of the past. And now I wonder what Ben's up to... Because the person is from Corellia, I have to wonder if its Jag, but that seems unlikely. I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
