So you enjoy my long updates. That's good to hear. Most of the chapters in this story are going to be either medium length or long. Next chapter is going to be long. Possibly as long as Chapter 7.

And I'm happy that you loved the update happy .

Very nice update.

So Saeon wanted Kyp to kill Luke. Have to wonder why Saeon wouldn't do it himself? Was he testing Kyp for a possible apprenticeship? Or was he afraid of Luke?

Good for Kyp turning him down though.

You had mentioned earlier I believe that Allanna was going to have a kind of big part in this. Is that because of Ben, her Master, and what this Saeon just told Shere Khan?

Oh, and on a side note. I love Star Tours and Captain Rex. I recommend that attraction to anyone whose never been on it.

I'm glad you liked the update.

Saeon is a very crafty person. He could do some of these jobs himself, but he has this side to him that loves to get other people to commit sins for him(kind of explains why Tyson said he's like a devil). There is a certain reason why he asked Kyp out of all people. As the chapters go on, it will soon become clear what Saeon's intentions are and what he fears most.

I can't give too much detail on Allana's role. It's big and she is going to be a good help to her friends and allies.

Chapter 10 is giant. Plain and simple. I'm still working on it.

Well, before we get to this mammoth chapter let's start off with the answer to the trivia question.

Congrats, Lola and Mouf applause !! You were both correct. The name of the android in Star Tours is Captain Rex.

Question: What is the name of the droid who pilots the tour ship in the Disneyland/DisneyWorld thrillride Star Tours?
Answer: Captain Rex

Alright, now on to the chapter. Just to let you readers know, it's long. I mean, it's really giant. But it's very, very major plotwise. I hope you all enjoy it despite it's length.

CHAPTER 10: Not So Pleasant Past

Ben, who was laying on him and his wife’s bed, proceeded on reading the next page in the dramatic holonovel that he held in his hands. When he finished, he clicked the button on the right side of the holonovel, which caused the page to turn. Just as he began reading the page’s first paragraph, the bedroom door slid open and Jycella entered. She looked at her husband then made her way over to the bed.

“Well, the Council just contacted us.” Jysella said as she laid herself down next to Ben.

“Really?” Ben said as he continued reading.

“Yep…they chose you, me, and Allana to go to Endor to retrieve the crystal.” Jysella said as she moved closer to her husband.

“Hmm…interesting. I’ve never been to Endor before…I know it has a lot of historical meaning about it.” said Ben.

“Yeah, it’s the spot where the Rebellion gave the crippling blow to the Empire.” Jysella said as she turned on her side and gently placed her hand on Ben’s chest.

“Well, one things for sure…Allana is going to be excited. She’s always ecstatic whenever we go to a location that we’ve never been to before.”

“Maybe we should go inform her right now.”

“We’ll…tell her later.” Ben put his holonovel aside then looked over at his wife with a smile and added. “Right now, you and I have…other matters to attend to.”

Ben turned on his side and gently placed his hand on her waist. They were so close that their faces were only 3 inches apart.

Jysella, looking straight into Ben's eyes, smiled and asked. “And those matters are?”

“Oh nothing much,” Ben said in a low tone as he scooted even closer to his wife. “Just to make sweet passionate love to one another.”

Their lips then met in a soft kiss. They slowly pulled away until their lips were nearly touching. They immediately kissed each other again only this time much more hungrily. Ben and Jysella rolled to the side until Ben was on top of her. Ben broke their intense kiss and immediately began placing several kisses on her neck. Just as he began unbuttoning her shirt, they suddenly heard a ring at the front door. Both of them breathed out an exasperated sigh.

“Why is it every time when we’re getting to the good part, we’re always interrupted?” said Jysella.

“Yeah seriously.” Ben said in a annoyed tone as he removed himself off of Jysella.

He got out of bed and spoke again. “I’ll go see who it is.”

He then strolled out of the bedroom and made his way to the front door. He opened the door and saw his friend 28-year-old Torres Katarn, who was the son of Kyle Katarn.

“Torres?” Ben said, a frown on his face.

“It’s official, Ben.” Torres said as he stared at the ground with an expression of misery on his face. “The Council hates me.”

Ben gave him a funny look.

“What?” replied Ben.

“Yep.” Torres strolled past Ben and headed towards the living room. “I didn’t think it at first. But now I’m positive.”

Ben closed the door and walked over to the living room.

“Torres…I highly doubt the Council hates you.” said Ben.

“That’s because you didn’t hear what they did.” replied Torres.

“Alright…what did they do?” Ben asked as he folded his arms.

Torres took a deep breath and explained. “During their meeting they received a transmission from Hexar Calrissian. Apparently, something is going on in the Cloud City on Bespin… and the Council wants me to investigate it.”

Ben shrugged. “That doesn’t sound so bad.”

“Let me finish.” Torres folded his arms, paused for a second, and then continued. “To accompany me on this mission, they chose Alema…”

Ben stared at Torres with a baffled look on his face.

“I still fail to see the problem here. I mean Alema is your wife after all.” said Ben.

Torres raised his hand as if to tell Ben to be silent. He then said. “And Tahiri.”

A grave expression suddenly appeared on Ben’s face.

“You mean…it’s just going to be…” replied Ben.

“Yep.” Torres said in a low tone as he looked down. “It’s just going to be me…Alema…and Tahiri.”

Ben placed his hand on Torres’s shoulder and said. “You poor man.”

He then gestured with his hand and told Torres. “Sit down.”

Torres sat down on the couch and buried his face in his hands.

Ben sat down in his love seat and said with a frown. “I don’t get it. I thought the Council knew that Tahiri and Alema didn’t like each other.”

“They do.” said Torres. He looked over at Ben and added. “But they feel that this might be a good opportunity for them to dispel their hate for one another. They believe that by having them unite and work as a team, it might get rid of the intense dislike they have towards each other.”

“Well, if that’s the case, the Council could’ve just sent them on their own. Why did they choose you to go with them?” asked Ben.

“To keep them from hurting each other.” said Torres.

“Oh.” Ben nodded then finished. “I guess that’s understandable… So pretty much, you’re going to be the referee.”

“Yep. Or just a poor soul who’s going to experience a new form of torture. One that includes annoyingly loud arguing and bickering every minute on the hour.”

Ben started laughing.

“This isn’t funny, Ben. This is terrible.” said Torres.

Ben kept laughing.

“You know, I fail to see the humor in this.” said Torres.

Ben stopped laughing then told Torres. “Don’t worry about it. In fact, this is actually a very good mission. Not also are you going to assist Bespin but you’re also going to attempt to end a long standing rift between two Jedi.”

“Yeah that’s all fine and dandy, Ben. But even you know how Alema and Tahiri are when they get into it. Whenever you tell them to stop it, they immediately jump down your throat… I’m telling you, Ben, it’s a no win situation.” said Torres.

He paused, folded his arms, and then added. “The only thing I can think of is maybe you can go grab a blaster somewhere and shoot me.”

Ben started snickering.

“Hey, think of it as a mercy kill.” said Torres.

Just then Jysella walked in and looked over at Torres.

“Torres? What brings you here?” asked Jysella.

“Oh, I just came by to tell Ben that the Council hates me and that I’m going to experience a new form of torture.” Torres said bluntly.

“Oh.” replied Jysella. She frowned for a second then asked. “Um, you want any…refreshments or something?”

Torres sighed and said. “No thank you. But thanks for offering.”

There was a brief silence until Torres broke it.

“So…you guys have any missions assigned to you?” asked Torres.

“Actually, yes…the Council is sending us to Endor to retrieve an artifact known as the Kaiburr Crystal.” said Ben.

“Kaiburr Crystal?” Torres asked, a confused look on his face.

“Yeah…and it’s very critical that we find it.” Jysella said as she sat down on the couch.

“How come?” asked Torres.

Ben and Jysella looked at each other briefly then turned their gazes back to Torres and explained everything to him.

Torres rubbed his chin and said. “So this guy named Saeon wants to use the Kaiburr Crystal to finish his galaxy destroying weapon.”

“That’s right. And some of us believe he’s responsible for the murders as well as the disappearance of Pollis Massa.” said Jysella.

Torres leaned back in his seat and said. “Wow…this is getting quite serious… Is the Council going to inform the Alliance about all this?”

“They are.” said Ben. He paused then added. “But anyway, Torres, um…me and Jysella have, you know, some…preparations to make.”

“In other words, you want me to go.” said Torres.

“Well…” Ben said as he scratched the back of his head.

“Yes.” Jysella immediately replied. “Before you came, Ben and I were in the middle of making our…‘preparations’.”

Torres looked at them for a minute. A knowing smile formed on his lips.

“Oohh…‘preparations’…I get it.” said Torres. He then winked at Ben and added. “I’ll head out now and leave you two be…But before I leave, can you guys answer a question for me?”

“Sure.” Ben and Jysella said at the same time.

“Why didn’t the Council pick for me to go with you guys instead of with my wife and Tahiri!!??”
----------------------------------------------

Sora strolled through the vast streets of Zanarkand. It was now evening and it was no longer raining. There were a few clouds in the sky but nothing threatening.

At the moment, Sora had some business to tend to in the city. He was currently headed to the Moogle’s Inc. Potion Shop so he could purchase a few medical supplies for the coming adventure. In the distance, he saw the street that lead to Tifa’s Seventh Haven.

He stopped, tilted his head to the side, placed his index finger on the side of his cranium, and thought for a minute. He then smiled and walked down the streets until he arrived at the Seventh Haven. He entered the café, looked around, and immediately spotted Tifa wiping the counter with a towel.

She looked over at him and her mouth formed into a big smile. Sora returned the smile then walked over to the counter.

“Hey, Tif.” said Sora. “How’s it going?”

“Just fine.” said Tifa. She finished wiping the counter then asked Sora. “So what can I get you?”

“Oh just the usual.” replied Sora.

“Is that all?” Tifa asked.

“Yep.”

“Alright. I’ll be back in a minute.”

Tifa walked over to where the blender was and began making a sea salt ice cream smoothie. It wasn’t long until Tifa finished making the smoothie. She then walked over to Sora with a mug in hand and stared at him for a second.

She smiled at Sora and asked. “You want me to give it a little…zap?”

“Huh?” responded Sora.

“You know, a little…liquor.” said Tifa.

Sora raised an eyebrow and was slightly taken back.

Tifa giggled and said. “Just kidding. Here you go.”

She handed him the smoothie and he immediately took a sip from the mug.

“I know your not the alcoholic type, Sora…and probably never will be. But that’s actually not a bad thing.” said Tifa.

“Well…actually, Tif…I’m not exactly that pure. I…tried a little before.” Sora said with a smile.

“Really?” Tifa said as she rested her arms on the counter and leaned forward a little.

“Yeah. It was one year ago on Port Royal when Maleficent was wrecking havoc… you see, Riku and I went to this insane spot called Tortuga, and it was there where an old acquaintance of mine named…Captain Jack Sparrow allowed me to have a taste of rum.” said Sora.

“Hmm…so what did you think of it?” Tifa asked with a smile as she rested her chin on her hand and raised an eyebrow.

Sora drank more from his smoothie then replied. “Well truthfully… I thought it tasted damn good.”

Tifa snickered which caused Sora to do the same.

Sora looked at the mug and added. “But nothing. And I mean nothing. Comes close to your wonderful smoothies.”

“Aww…thanks.” said Tifa.

There was a brief silence until Tifa spoke again.

“Hey, Sora?” said Tifa.

“Hmm?” replied Sora.

“I was wondering…could you do me a favor?” asked Tifa.

Sora looked at her for a second while taking another sip from his smoothie.

He then said. “Um, sure…what do you want me to do?”

Tifa looked down at the counter and said. “Could you maybe…pick Denzel up from school? I would do it myself but I don’t close up until ten. And I would’ve asked Yuffie to do it but…she wouldn’t answer her phone.”

She looked up at Sora and saw that he was just staring at her with a confused look on his face. For a minute, Sora was wondering why Tifa’s adopted son was in school when it was approaching nighttime. Then he suddenly remembered…school ran differently on Zanarkand. Instead of going from a morning hour to 3:00 pm, it went from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Sora smiled at Tifa and said. “Not to worry. I’ll pick him up for you and take him home. It’s not exactly along the way to the potion shop, but…I’ll do it for you.”

Tifa’s face lit up.

“Thanks, Sora!” she said. She paused then added in a soft tone. “You’re a real sweetie you know that…Kairi is real lucky to have you.”

Sora blushed and said. “Aww.”
------------------------------------------------

Sora exited Tifa’s café and proceeded down the street to his right. He reached in his pocket and pulled out his black pocket watch. He raised an eyebrow then placed the watch back in his pocket.

He passed by a few buildings when suddenly three little female fairies swiftly flew right up to his face and shouted. “SORA!!!!”

“Whoa!” Sora shouted as he stumbled backwards to the ground.

Every pedestrian who passed by turned his or her gaze at him. Sora glared at the three small fairies and saw that only two of them were giggling at him. The other one just had a thin smile on her face.

The leader of the three, Yuna, had straight medium length brown hair, blue eyes, and wore short light blue shorts and a very revealing white top. The energetic one in the trio, Rikku (Yuna’s cousin), had very long straight blonde hair, green eyes, and wore only a yellow bra, yellow panties, and a blue bandanna that wrapped around her forehead. The third fairy, Paine, was the total opposite of other two. She had straight grayish hair, red eyes, and wore tight black pants and a black upper body outfit that was sleeveless.

“You three.” said Sora. “You know, you could’ve came to me in a less…ABRUPT sort of way.”

“Now what would be the fun in that?” Yuna said with a smile.

“Yeah! I mean you should’ve seen the look on your face!” Rikku said happily.

“I got to admit. It was pretty…funny.” said Paine.

“Ha. Ha.” replied Sora.

He got up on his feet, folded his arms, and spoke again. “So…what’ve you three been up to, besides scaring people to death?”

“Oh, we’ve just been hanging around…not doing much.” said Yuna.

“In other words, we’re like soo bored.” Rikku said as she put her hands on her hips.

“Totally.” Paine added.

“Aw…so the life of treasure hunting has now got you guys bored.” said Sora.

“No, that’s not it. It’s just…” said Yuna.

The three fairies suddenly looked down with sad expressions on their faces.

Sora, wondering what was making the fairies feel so down, asked. “Just what?”

“Nothing.” Yuna replied as she, Rikku, and Paine looked back up at Sora. She paused and her face brightened when she asked. “Anyway…have you been on any new adventures as of late?”

“As a matter of fact, I’m heading out on one tomorrow.” Sora said as he strolled down the street with the three fairies floating by his side.

“Really!?” said Yuna.

“Yeah…it’s going to be quite a journey. You see, me, Kairi, and Riku are going to be going to the GFA-18 galaxy to assist a group of heroes called the Jedi Knights.” said Sora.

Yuna’s mouth gaped open.

“NO WAY!” she said. “You…you’re actually going to go to another galaxy!”

“Oooo! Can we come! Can we come!?” Rikku begged.

“Yeah! Can we!?” asked Yuna.

“I…don’t think so.” said Sora.

A disappointed expression appeared on the faces of Yuna and Rikku.

“How come?” asked Yuna.

“Yeah! How come!?” asked Rikku.

“Well, simply put, this is not going to be some pleasure cruise or fun getaway. This is a very serious mission and plus…we don’t even know what lurks out in GFA-18. We’re not even sure if we’re going to get a warm welcome from the Jedi Knights.” said Sora.

“Why are you going out there anyway?” asked Paine. “I know you’re going out there to help these Jedi guys…but why?”

“Well, you see, there’s this villain who has control of the Heartless and somewhere out there he’s building two super ships that could destroy an entire galaxy.” replied Sora.

“What!?” Yuna and Rikku shouted at the same time with their eyes widened.

“You’re kidding, right?” Paine said to Sora.

Sora breathed out a sigh then replied. “I wish I was…we don’t even know where he’s building the damn things. But what we do know is, is that he wants the Cornerstone of Light and this Kaiburr Crystal from GFA-18, so he can complete his weapons of mass destruction.”

“This guy sounds like he means serious business.” said Paine.

“What’s the name of this jerk anyway?” Rikku asked with a frown.

“His name is Saeon.” answered Sora.

Suddenly Yuna and Rikku gasped and the three fairies stopped. Sora kept walking but soon noticed that the fairies were not by his side. Sora stopped, turned around, and looked at the fairies. Yuna and Rikku had unreadable expressions on their faces. Paine, however, had her arms folded and was looking down with a scowl on her face. Sora frowned and walked closer to them.

As soon as Sora stopped, Yuna asked. “Who did you say again?”

“Saeon.” said Sora.

There was a moment of silence until Yuna flew right in front of Sora’s face and said. “Sora…if you have any sense you will stay away from anything relating to Saeon.”

“Huh? How-” said Sora.

Before he could finish, Yuna snapped. “Just listen to me! If you truly cherish everything that you have including the ones you love. Stay away from him. Just…do as I say!”

Sora was a little taken back by the way she was acting. When he looked at her, he saw that her eyes were on the verge of tears and her fists were clinched. For a few seconds he just looked at the fairy. It then dawned on him.

“You met him before…haven’t you?” Sora asked in a low tone.

Yuna put her hands behind her back and looked down at the ground. She turned and slowly flew back towards her friends. She stopped, turned around, stared at Sora, and nodded.

Sora breathed out a sigh, folded his arms, and asked. “When did you meet him? And please tell me you weren’t his minions.”

“One thing I can assure you is that we weren’t his minions.” said Yuna. She paused then continued. “We would die before doing work for that monster… It’s because of him… that the three of us are like this.”

“Like what?” asked Sora.

Yuna gestured her hand up and down her body and said. “This.”

“Fairies.” said Paine.

Sora stared at them for a second.

His eyes widened and that’s when he said. “You mean…you three really aren’t fairies!? You’re… you’re human!?”

The three fairies nodded and Rikku said. “It’s because of that big meanie Saeon that we are forced to live like this.”

“Yeah, everything that we loved to do as humans we can’t do as fairies. Including picking up treasure that we find.” said Paine.

“So that’s why you guys were sad…you’re treasure hunters…and yet you can only look but can’t take what you find.” said Sora.

“That’s only part of the reason.” said Yuna. “That… Saeon did much worst to us than just this.”

“Like what? Tell me everything that he did to you.” said Sora.

Yuna sighed and there was a brief silence until she spoke. “It all started 10 years ago on our home world, Gaia… everything was peaceful as always… Back then we weren’t treasure hunters or fighters…just regular citizens of the world. My father, Lord Braska, was even preparing to contact President Archy of Traverse Town, so that they could begin talks on making a treaty… But then he came.”

“Saeon.” said Sora.

The three fairies nodded and Yuna continued. “He summoned this giant heartless… a four headed dragon heartless…and the creature wrecked havoc on our lands. Anyone who went up against Saeon and the creature never came out alive… But three people on our world stood up against them with all their might… My father, a warrior named Shuyin, and Gaia’s greatest hero Auron.”

“Auron!?” Sora said with a hint of shock.

“You met him before!?” asked Yuna.

“Yeah, I have…well, sort of…I met his spirit in the underworld four years ago…it’s a long story though.” said Sora. He paused then said. “Please, um, continue on with the tale.”

Yuna looked at him for a second then continued. “Well…anyway…they fought Saeon and the dragon with everything they had………………but the outcome wasn’t all happily ever after.”

There was another moment of silence until Sora heard Yuna sniff. Yuna looked down at the ground as tears formed in her eyes. Rikku flew to Yuna and placed her hand on Yuna’s shoulder.

“My father…sacrificed his life…to destroy the dragon.” Yuna said between sobs.

She couldn’t finish. She just buried her face in her hands and cried. Rikku now fully comforted her. Sora's brow crinkled at the sight of Yuna crying.

He then turned his gaze to Paine who immediately spoke. “I remember how it went. After Braska sacrificed his life, Auron and Shuyin fought Saeon all by themselves…unfortunately, Saeon killed them both… Saeon then summoned a giant army of heartless and like a plague they wiped out everything in their path. Despite our efforts, our friends and family ended up getting murdered mercilessly. The three of us in the end had no choice but to take a gummi ship and escape.”

“Sheesh…that’s horrible…were there any other survivors besides you three?” asked Sora.

“Only two…” Yuna said between a sob. She wiped her tear soaked eyes, looked at Sora, and added. “My friend Lulu and her husband Chappu.”

“But sadly, they escaped in a different gummi ship and we’ve never seen them again since that day.” said Rikku.

Sora, a frown on his face, shook his head and replied. “I had no idea that Saeon was this much of a menace.”

“But there’s more.” said Paine. “About two years later, the three of us became treasure hunters and even learned how to protect ourselves. So we traveled around in our gummi ship looking for treasure and trying desperately to forget about what happened…well, little did we know that the ghost from our past was going to haunt us again.”

Paine paused then continued. “We went to this world Valhalla and in one of the towns we met this man. He had on this orange cape covering his whole body and this blue mask covering the lower half of his face. We didn’t know who it was but he told us he’d give us this map to an ancient treasure if we’d meet him near the forests. We were hesitant, but like mice walking into a trap we agreed to meet him… And low and behold we got a big surprise.”

“Yeah, when we got there, the man told us he’d give us the map if we agreed to assassinate President Archy and the president of Twilight Town.” said Yuna.

“But we told him ‘no’!” said Rikku.

“Hmm… now that is interesting. Because I remember reading in a Traverse Town history book that 8 years ago, which is the same time period you’re describing. Is the very year where President Archy and President Rider were assassinated in Traverse Town. And strangely…it was right when they were having a meeting regarding a treaty.” Sora said as he strolled down the street with the three fairies.

“Oh my…” Yuna said as she looked down.

“That lousy jackass obviously found someone else to do his dirty work.” said Paine.

“And it wasn’t going to be us that’s for sure!” said Rikku. “That big meanie kept getting more persistent and threatening. But we still told him ‘no’. And that’s when he took off the mask and the cape. We knew instantly who it was just by looking at him.”

“We fought Saeon…we fought him good…but he beat us. He didn’t try to kill us…he just told us that he wanted us to live out our lives in misery.” said Paine.

“That’s when this pink beam shot out of his staff and turned us into fairies.” said Rikku.

“And right before he left through a portal, that monster had the gall to say ‘so brave…yet so stupid’.” Yuna said with a frown.

“I swear I wanted to kill him even more after that.” said Pain. “Now we’re stuck like this and we don’t even know how to undo it. The only magic we know how to do is cure, gravity, and teleportation.”

“Wait…how come over the years you guys didn’t tell anyone about what happened?” asked Sora.

“For a while, we were just afraid to talk to anyone in this appearance." answered Yuna.

“Yeah, its kind of embarrassing going from a full grown woman to a small winged midget.” said Rikku.

“The other problem is, is that this spell also keeps us from aging. We’re stuck at age eighteen.” said Yuna.

“And sadly because of our size we couldn’t even fly our ship anymore. The only way we could travel is by sneaking on to traveler ships or freight ships.” Paine added in.

“We also tried to find a wizard to undo the spell, but we just couldn’t find one. So eventually we gave up and tried to go on as treasure hunters.” said Yuna. "Later on, we met Maleficent and worked for her briefly. But as you know, as soon as we found out that she had no treasure and was working for the Heartless, we ended that partnership in an instant.”

“Hmm.” replied Sora. “I guess it’s understandable that you had trouble finding a wizard. Most wizards do tend to travel around a lot. Heck, my master Merlin told me that even he used to travel around often before he met Squall…and Yen Sid, well………he’s very secretive on his whereabouts.”

“Wait a minute.” said Yuna. “You said you had a master named Merlin…does that mean you’re a wizard now?”

“Well, sort of…I prefer just being known as a Keyblade Master who knows magic...... Anyway, I do know how to undo the spell.” said Sora.

“You do!?” All three women said at the same time.

Sora nodded and placed his hands behind his head.

“Yes!!!” Yuna and Rikku shouted. They giggled as they flew around Sora rapidly. Paine just smiled thinly.

Sora laughed.

“Alright, alright. Just settle down.” said Sora.

Yuna and Rikku, who had smiles on their faces, obeyed and stopped moving.

“You know you guys really should’ve told me about this four years ago… Donald and I would’ve been glad to help you out.” said Sora.

Yuna and Rikku put their hands behind their backs.

“Well…you know, we didn’t think you guys knew magic or anything.” Yuna replied.

“And besides, it looked like you had enough problems of your own. We didn’t want to present you with anymore.” said Paine.

“Well as you can now see, one of your problems is now my problem and also the problem for the entire universe.” said Sora.

“Saeon.” said Paine.

“Precisely… But anyway…I easily recognize the spell he put on you. It’s a transformation spell.” said Sora.

“Transformation spell?” asked Yuna, a confused look on her face.

“Yeah, I knew it was a transformation spell once you told me the beam that hit you was pink and that you guys ceased to age… All the earmarks of a transformation spell.” said Sora.

“You ever used it before?” asked Yuna.

“Oh yeah, several times. I use it whenever I go to worlds like Atlantica and Pride Lands.” replied Sora. “It’s a very powerful spell that requires a lot of focus and mind power. Only those who are well trained in the magical arts can cast it… In order for me to do this spell, we need to go somewhere more private. I don’t want to startle anyone.”

Sora looked around and spotted an entrance to an alley in the distance.

“There.” Sora pointed to the alley. “I’ll do the spell there.”

The three fairies looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

“Well then what are we waiting for!!” shouted Yuna.

“Last one there is a rotten egg!!” Rikku said as she swiftly flew in the direction of the alley.

“Hey, no fair!” Yuna said with frown. She then took off towards the alley.

Paine just sighed and flew after her two friends. Sora just slowly shook his head.
-------------------------------------------

As soon as they were in the alley, Sora looked at the three women and noticed that Yuna and Rikku were continuously floating up and down at a rapid pace.

“Alright, I need you two to settle down.” Sora said to Rikku and Yuna.

“Oh, okay.” said Yuna.

Yuna and Rikku obeyed and stopped moving.

“Now I need you three to get on the ground.” said Sora.

The three fairies just looked at him for a second with confused expressions on their faces.

“Huh?” asked Rikku.

Sora breathed out a sigh and said. “In other words, I need you to stop flying and put your feet on the ground.”

“Oh…will do.” said Rikku.

The three fairies slowly floated on to the ground. All three women now had smiles on their faces. Yuna and Rikku even crossed their fingers.

The Kingdom Key appeared in Sora’s right hand and he raised it slowly over his head. Pinkish energy started coursing across the keyblade’s blade portion. It cackled as Sora twirled the keyblade. He aimed his keyblade at the three women and a pink beam fired out of the keyblade and enveloped the three women. Yuna, Rikku, and Paine gritted their teeth and shook violently as the energy shocked and coursed across their bodies.

In less than a minute, their fairy wings vanished and the three women grew to their normal human size. When it was over, the three women were on their knees breathing rapidly. Yuna and Rikku slowly got up and looked over at each other.

“Rikku…you’re…” Yuna said to Rikku.

“Yunie…you’re…” Rikku said to Yuna.

They giggled and embraced each other.

They jumped up and down and shouted at the same time. “We’re back to normal!!!”

Paine slowly and awkwardly got up on her feet. Her mouth was gaped open and her eyes looked as if they couldn’t focus.

“Damn that hurt.” said Paine.

Sora smiled then held out his keyblade. The keyblade glowed white then vanished out of sight.

The three women looked at Sora then strolled over to him. Yuna and Rikku smiled and gave Sora a big hug.

“Thank you so much!” said Rikku.

“How can we ever repay you!?” replied Yuna.

“Heh, heh…Uh…well.” Sora said as he returned the hug.

Yuna and Rikku released the embrace and took a few steps back from Sora. They giggled when they saw that his face was red.

Paine walked over to Sora, reached her hand out, and said. “Thanks for everything, Sora.”

“You’re welcome.” Sora said as he shook her hand.

There was a silence afterward but Sora broke it by asking. “So…what do you three plan on doing now?”

The three women stood silent for a second then Paine replied. “Hmm…I’m not sure. It’s been so long since we’ve been…human.”

“I guess, it’s going to take us a while to get use to this.” said Yuna.

Yuna paused then turned around and looked at the large city. She sighed and smiled.

“But I’m just so glad to be my regular self again.” said Yuna.

“Yeah!! I mean, now we can have all sorts of fun!!” Rikku said in a cheerful tone.

“Like shop till we drop.” Yuna said as she looked over at Rikku.

“You know it!!” said Rikku.

“I’m down with that.” said Paine.

Sora, a thin smile on his face, folded his arms and shook his head.

“Before you guys…plan to do anything. I actually need you to do something first.” said Sora.

“Sure!” said Yuna. “We already said we wanted to repay you.”

“Alright…here’s what I want you to do.” said Sora,

The three women moved in closer to Sora and listened to his words.

“I need you three to go to Castle Bastion and tell Squall and Mayor Musashi everything that you told me about Saeon. Including the part about him making you an offer.” said Sora.

“Is this going to help bring Saeon down?” asked Paine.

“Possibly…it will definitely help Musashi and Squall get a better understanding on what they’re dealing with…One thing we’ve all learned over the years is that it’s better to know you’re enemy before taking him or her on.” said Sora.

Sora paused then added. “And if I’m correct…after they hear your story, they’re going to think what I think.”

“And that is?” asked Yuna.

“That Saeon’s attack on Gaia wasn’t just for the heck of it…I believe he attacked it for a specific reason…I’m not exactly sure what it is yet…but I know Squall and Musashi will have the time to figure it out.” replied Sora.

“Okay…we’ll, um, do as you say and tell them.” said Yuna.

“Good.” said Sora.

There was a moment of silence until Sora broke it by saying. “It’s been a pleasure helping you ladies. I hope you three have a pleasant night.”

Yuna and Rikku blushed.

“Thanks.” said Rikku.

Sora smiled, turned around, and began heading down the other side of the alley. He came to a halt when he suddenly heard Yuna speak.

“Hey, Sora?” said Yuna.

Sora turned around and looked at her.

“Are you single?” Yuna asked as she put her arms behind her back.

Sora’s face turned red.

He smiled and said. “Um…I’m sorry, Yuna, but… I’m taken.”

Yuna looked down and said. “Shucks.”

She looked back up at Sora and said. “Well, um…I hope you have a good night.”

Sora gave a nod, turned around, and proceeded down the alley, which lead to another street.

As he was walking away, Yuna folded her arms across her chest and said in a low tone. “Bless you, Sora… Bless your heart.”
-------------------------------------------

Sora walked down a few more streets until he finally arrived at the area where Denzel’s school was. Sora stopped, reached into his pocket, and pulled out his watch. On the watch, he saw that it was now 7:48 p.m. He breathed out through his mouth and placed the watch back into his pocket.

Sora looked around the area until his eyes stumbled upon Merlin’s house, which sat right next to the Rosebud Library. He stared at it for a second then turned his gaze back to the school. After about a minute, Sora pursed his lips and looked down at his feet. He finally looked back at the house then strolled over to it.

Sora stopped at the front door and knocked three times. He then folded his arms and shifted his gaze to the right. The door suddenly opened and Merlin stepped into view. Sora turned his gaze to his former master and what he saw put a frown on his face. Merlin’s eyes were red and puffy and his cheeks were streaked with tears. It looked as if a dark cloud was hovering over Merlin.

“Merlin?” asked Sora.

“Hey, my boy. What brings you here?” Merlin said in a low tone.

“Uh…I just dropped by to see how you were doing.” said Sora.

Merlin stared at him for a second then replied. “Oh.”

Merlin looked down at his feet and didn’t look up for several seconds.

“Merlin, are you feeling okay?” Sora asked with concern in his tone.

There was a moment of silence until Merlin looked back up at Sora and said. “Uh…come in.”

Merlin invited Sora in and Sora entered the house. Merlin closed the door then slowly walked over near the fireplace and sat in his brown rocking chair. Merlin just rocked back and forth staring at the fire in the fireplace. Sora, a frown on his face, walked over to where Merlin was sitting.

“So…are you going to tell me?” asked Sora.

Merlin didn’t respond. He rocked back and forth and gazed at the fire. A minute passed and Merlin didn’t say a word. Sora sighed and was about to turn around when Merlin suddenly spoke.

“I failed him.” said Merlin.

Sora looked at Merlin and asked. “Who?”

“Saeon.” said Merlin.

“What!?” responded Sora.

Merlin breathed out a sigh and said. “Plain and simple. I failed him…He wasn’t always like this…on the contrary…”

Merlin looked at Sora and added with a thin smile. “He was very much like you. And like you…he was my apprentice.”

“Saeon was your apprentice!!?” Sora replied in a shocked tone.

Merlin gave a nod then continued with a smile. “He was a very intelligent man…and had a pure heart of gold like you, my boy. He always strived to help others and do good things. He was also quite cheerful and always attempted to put a smile on anyone who was feeling down.”

Merlin’s smile vanished as he leaned back in his chair.

“That was 50 years ago…and I remember it all just as if it was yesterday.” said Merlin.

“50 years ago?” said Sora. “That means Saeon must be a much older man now.”

Merlin shook his head and said. “No. He probably still looks the same...around twenty or twenty-one years old.”

“How’s that possible?” asked Sora.

“Well, you see, my boy…Saeon is a Genekassin. The Genekassins lived on a very small world called Genekassis. What made them special is that unlike other humans…they age much slower. It takes a Genekassin around 20 years to turn a new age.” said Merlin.

“Whoa…so what happened to the Genekassins? Are they still around?” Sora asked in a tone of interest.

Merlin shook his head. “Nope…they’re all dead…Saeon killed them all.”

Sora frowned. “He killed them!? Wait a sec…there’s something I don’t understand…if Saeon was such a good hearted person before, how did he become such a cold killer?”

Merlin breathed out a sigh. “Well…you see, my boy. Saeon’s life wasn’t exactly…perfect. His father was an alcoholic and was always very abusive to Saeon’s loving mother. Saeon’s brother and sister disliked Saeon greatly. No matter how many times he tried to be nice to them, all he ever got in return was scorn... He always tried to be a hero and protector for his people. He did one good deed after another…and strangely the people hated him for it.”

“Why?”

“They felt he was being too nice…they believed he was being overly friendly and arrogant. So they claimed that Saeon was only doing those good deeds for his own selfish glory and to make himself look better than everyone else... But the truth was and Saeon told me this during one of our training sessions… he did those deeds because he loved to do it. He did them because he loved his people and never wanted to see one of them unhappy.”

Sora slowly shifted his eyes to the ground.

Merlin spoke again. “Soon they started calling Saeon names and even didn’t allow him into some towns. For a while his mother and I were the only ones he could talk to because everyone else hated him and refused to befriend him. But I noticed that as time went on, it was beginning to take a toll on Saeon… He began questioning why he was helping others just to receive hate in return.”

Merlin paused then continued. “But then he met someone… a lovely woman who actually didn’t insult him or hate him. The two fell in love and got married later on… He was so happy then…and after three years, he finally completed his training with me…And I guess, this is where I made the mistake.....I briefly left the planet and vowed to return later. If I only knew what was going to happen, I would’ve never left that day.”

Merlin breathed out a sigh and said. “When I returned 10 months later, it was like a nightmare come true. The peaceful loving man…the one who always had a smile on his face…had gone mad. Anything Saeon saw whether man, woman, child, animal, insect, or plant, he destroyed without question…I soon found out from a few people what had happened…Saeon’s father had beaten Saeon’s mother to death and then committed suicide soon after. Saeon’s brother and sister made a petition for Saeon to leave the world completely…And worst of all, Saeon’s wife, whom I knew he loved so much, had an affair with another man…Mix all that with the scorn and hate from his people…and you got a monster that cared about nothing or no one…I was their witnessing the chaos of him killing anything or anyone in his path…I tried to stop him…Not with brute force or with my wand, but with words…I was hoping that there was a little bit of my dear friend left within…But my words were only met with cold and cruel responses………Saeon cast a stone spell on me and I didn’t deflect it. I refused to fight him or engage him in battle. So I allowed the spell to consume me.”

Merlin paused then continued the tale. “I don’t know how long I was in that stone slumber. But I found out later that it was definitely for too long… Saeon brought me out of the spell and when I looked around I saw the horrible deed my friend had committed. He committed genocide…it was easy for him since he was the only warrior on the world…everyone else didn’t know how to fight or properly defend themselves…so they were all lying around…men, women, children and even the plants and animals were all dead…When I looked at him again, I saw that he was taking pleasure in what he had done…He even moaned and smiled like as if he was getting a massage… I’ll never forget what he told me… He looked at me with that lifeless expression on his face and said: ‘You never told me that genocide was so delicious’.”

Merlin buried his face in his hands and continued in a whispered tone. “I didn’t say word… It stung too much…and when he disappeared into a dark portal, I instantly knew that he had tapped into the Dark Arts…I never saw Saeon again after that. I don’t know where he went and what he did…But all I felt after all that was sadness and hurt. My friend…my happy, caring apprentice that loved all life…had become one who craved and flourished destruction.”

Merlin sighed and looked at Sora. Sora, a sad look on his face, didn’t say word. He just slowly shook his head.

“Even now when I think of what he used to be and what he is now, it stings my heart.” said Merlin.

Merlin sat up and walked over to the window.

He looked out the window and spoke again. “The Saeon I knew is dead… The only thing that remains of him is the good memory that dwells in my mind… The more awful sins he commits the more it taints his good memory…And the sad thing is if he dies, he’ll only be remembered as a heartless devil…not a good-hearted angel……………… My friend is dead...and I failed him……… I should’ve been there so he would know that he still had a friend that cared. But like a fool, I left………and now two galaxies are paying for my mistake…and the mistakes of the Genekassins.”

“It’s not entirely your fault, Merlin. I mean Saeon was an adult and he made his choice…But I do have to admit, that in a way I feel sorry for him.” said Sora. “All he wanted was to help out his people and all he got in return was hate.”

“Saeon’s story is definitely one of tragedy… But at least you know, why I feel this way right now.” said Merlin.

There was a long silence until Merlin sighed, looked down, and said. “My boy, I…kind of want to be alone for a while.”

Sora gave a nod and replied. “I understand…see yah, Merlin.”

Sora turned and headed towards the front door.

Right when he was about to open it, Merlin spoke. “My boy.”

Sora stopped and looked at Merlin.

“You are the only one I’ve told this to. The good memory of Saeon lives on in the both of us………in the name of his good memory…slay the monster that now haunts our minds and craves nothing but death.” said Merlin. “Do this, my boy…do this not just for the galaxies…but for the good friend I used to know.”

Sora just looked at Merlin. He didn’t reply or give a nod he just opened the door and walked out.
---------------------------------------------

Sora, a thoughtful look on his face, just stood outside the school and stared off in the distance. He took a deep breath and looked down at his feet. He kept his gaze at the ground until he saw from the corner of his eye a few parents arriving to pick up their kids.

Sora turned and stared at the school’s entrance. In a matter of minutes, the children exited the school and some even ran ecstatically to their parents. Majority of the children, however, spotted Sora and instantly ran to him asking for autographs.

“Oh, boy.” Sora said to himself.

Thankfully, he always kept a pen on him. He smiled at the children and gave them each an autograph. Afterwards, he scanned the area and immediately spotted 10-year-old Denzel who was behaving a little bit calmer than the other children. The boy, who had medium length light brown hair and light blue eyes, was standing and chatting with his friend Marlene.

As soon as Denzel said goodbye to Marlene, whom immediately strolled over to her adoptive father Barret, Sora walked over to Denzel and gave him a pat on the shoulder. Denzel immediately looked up at Sora.

“Hey, Denzel.” said Sora.

“Oh hey, Sora.” Denzel said with a smile. “What are you doing here? Well…besides autographing.”

Sora smiled and replied. “Well, the autographing part came unexpectedly. I’m actually here to walk you home.”

“Let me guess…mom sent you.” said Denzel.

“Yeah, she did.” said Sora.

Denzel gave out a loud sigh then rolled his eyes and said. “You know, I could’ve walked home myself. It’s not like I’m 9 years old or something.”

“Well, your mother is just concerned about your safety. Some strange things have happened today and your mother just doesn’t want you to get hurt.” Sora said as he and Denzel strolled down the street that would lead them to the apartment that Tifa lived in.

“Huh? What strange things?”

“Let’s just say there’s a new villain in town…and he isn’t playing around.”

Denzel’s face brightened. “Are you going to fight him and beat the hell out of him!?”

“Okay, first of all, watch your language. Secondly…I might if we find him.”

“Cool.”

There was a moment of silence but Denzel soon broke it.

“When I get a little older, I want to learn how to fight just like you and mom.” said Denzel.

“Well, we’ll see what happens…but trust me when I say you don’t want my life.” said Sora.

“Why not!? You get to travel around, save people, and fight the forces of darkness. Who wouldn’t want that life?”

“Well, remember, Denzel, everything has its ups and downs…and the downs can eventually take their toll on a person. My main down is fighting the forces of darkness.”

“How is that a down!?”

“Because the forces of darkness just don’t know when to quit. You keep fighting them and fighting them…and they keep coming and coming. Eventually you begin to wonder when your never-ending battle will just end… You see, saving people and doing good deeds are always fun…but constantly having to deal with the forces of darkness can get quite tiresome after a while.”

“Hmmm.”

They walked down another street and were getting closer to the apartment when they suddenly saw in the distance a small strange looking purple cloud hovering over a construction site. Sora, Denzel, and several other people stopped and stared at the cloud.

Sora breathed out an exasperated sigh and said. “What now?”

Suddenly a beam of light shot down from the cloud, which caused several people to gasp and even run. The light vanished as did the purple cloud. Soon several city guards came rushing down the streets and headed straight towards the construction site.

“What was that?” asked Denzel.

“I don’t know. But I’ll check it out later. Right now we need to get you home.” Sora said with a frown.

“Screw that. I’m going to go see what it is.” said Denzel.

And without another word, Denzel took off down the street towards the construction site.

“Denzel!” Sora snapped.

But Denzel didn’t listen; he just kept going towards the construction. Sora growled then charged after Denzel.

As he was running, Sora said to himself. “Kids.”

He finally caught up with Denzel and saw that he was standing right in front of three male guards who were keeping him from going into the construction site.

“This isn’t a place for children.” said one of the guards, who was a male.

“Aw, man. Come on.” Denzel pouted.

Sora came over, pointed at the construction site, and asked the guards. “Um, what exactly happened here?”

“We’re not sure yet, Master Wielder.” said the second guard. “We’re currently investigating the whole area to see if that light had anything to do with the Heartless.”

“Hey!” shouted a male guard on the construction site.

Sora, the three guards, and Denzel turned and looked over at the guard on the contruction site.

“We found something!” shouted the guard.

“More like someone!” shouted another guard.

Sora, the guards, and Denzel frowned.

“You don’t mind if I go check it out, do you?” Sora asked the three guards in front of him.

The three guards looked at each other then gave a nod and one of the them replied. “Not at all. We’ll watch the boy for you.”

“Thanks.” said Sora.

Sora proceeded on forward into the construction site. Denzel frowned, sighed, tightened his lips, and folded his arms.

Sora slowly walked across the dirt-covered ground. He looked ahead and saw six city guards gathered around a certain area.

Sora approached them and asked. “What’s going on here?”

The guards turned and looked at him then one of the guards immediately said. “Oh, Master Wielder…we were searching the area when we found this man laying here.”

The guards allowed Sora to see the man. As soon as Sora saw him, his eyes widened. The man had spiky blonde hair and wore a black sleeveless shirt, black pants, black gloves, and black shoes. He had several cuts all over his body and in his right hand was a long and very wide sword.

“Cloud.” Sora said in a whispered tone.

“You know him?” one of the guards asked with a frown.

“Yeah, I do. I met him a few years back.” said Sora. He looked at the guards and asked. “He has a pulse, right?”

“He does.” said a female guard. “But it’s very weak. We already phoned in a medical team, they should be here shortly.”

“Alright good.” said Sora.

He looked back at Cloud and said. “Hang in there, Cloud.”
--------------------------------------

Darkness surrounded the area. There was no sign of light anywhere. And the only things alive in the darkness were two warriors engaging in one final battle.

27-year-old Cloud Strife, who had a few cuts on him, swiftly parried two more lightning fast strikes from the masamune blade of his archenemy Sephiroth. They both swung hard and their blades met with a loud clash. Sephiroth sneered then used his strength and pushed Cloud backwards.

Sephiroth was a handsome looking man. He had long silver hair and wore a black leather outfit with silver armor shoulder plates. He smiled as he and Cloud slowly walked in a circle.

“You can’t win, Cloud.” said Sephiroth. “When are you going to realize this?”

“I refuse to lose to the likes of you.” Cloud said darkly.

“Oh, but you already lost, Cloud.” said Sephiroth. “I mean look around you. You’re in my domain now... Continuing to fight on in attempt to achieve victory is futile. So why don’t you just accept death like a good little boy.”

Sephiroth unleashed a series of quick sword attacks but Cloud gracefully parried each one.

“I’m no boy.” replied Cloud.

Sephiroth laughed and said with a smirk. “Oh but you are. You will always be that little boy crying his eyes out because the big bad silver haired man beheaded your parents and stabbed your newborn sister to death.”

Cloud gritted his teeth and yelled as he charged Sephiroth. He delivered several furious sword slices at Sephiroth. Sephiroth gracefully deflected each slice then delivered swift but hard kick to Cloud’s gut and immediately followed through with a solid kick across Cloud’s face. Cloud fell to the ground then quickly blocked a powerful blow from Sephiroth. Cloud leaped to his feet and looked at Sephiroth with a scowl.

Sephiroth smiled and said. “I’m glad you still remember that whole incident.”

Cloud gritted his teeth and was now shaking with anger.

“Of course, I remember it! I vowed on their graves that I’d hunt you down for what you did!” Cloud snapped.

“Isn’t it ironic…you made that vow and yet you still haven’t fulfilled it.” said Sephiroth. “Kind of pathetic if you ask me.”

“Shut up!” Cloud shouted as he paced back and forth keeping eye contact with Sephiroth.

“Admit it, Cloud.” said Sephiroth. “You can’t kill me. I’m immortal. I will haunt you forever…As long as you live, I will be there to make your very existence a living hell... And there’s nothing you can do about it.”

“I said shut up!” shouted Cloud.

Cloud swung his blade hard at Sephiroth but Sephiroth blocked the blow and their blades locked.

“Still being the crybaby…As long as you remember me and what I took from you…I will live forever.” Sephiroth said in a dark tone.

Cloud glared at Sephiroth. He stared at Sephiroth for a long time until suddenly a look of realization appeared on his face.

“That’s it, isn’t it?” said Cloud. “That’s why you’re immortal…now it all makes sense.”

Sephiroth frowned at Cloud and asked. “What the hell are you talking about?”

Cloud released the blade lock, backed away, and pointed his sword at Sephiroth.

“The spell…the spell you cast on Pandora IV…that wasn’t no ordinary spell was it? That’s how you attained immortality…you attained it through me.” said Cloud.

Sephiroth suddenly looked down and Cloud could see by the look on Sephiroth's face that he was right.

“You knew how much I hated you…you knew that the thoughts of you haunted my mind 24/7…so when I tracked you to Pandora IV… you cast a spell that would have it where you would be immortal as long as I remembered you and what you did.” said Cloud.

“And it worked like a charm.” said Sephiroth. He looked at Cloud and added. “You still haven’t forgot me or what I’ve done. And I’m still alive.”

“Well that’s about to change.” said Cloud.

Sephiroth frowned and stared at Cloud suspicously.

“Let’s end this now, Sephiroth.” said Cloud.

They both pointed their blades at each other. For a few minutes, they just stood there glaring at each other. They then charged each other at full force. Cloud parried a hard slash from Sephiroth then like lightning Cloud swung his blade and the sharp tip of his blade sliced across Sephiroth’s belly.

Sephiroth growled then clutched the wound. He looked down with a shocked expression on his face. He stared at his hands and saw blood. His wound wasn’t healing. He looked up at Cloud with a frown.

“What is this!?” said Sephiroth.

“It’s called the sweet taste of mortality.” said Cloud. “You see all this time whenever I fought you, the only things that went through my mind was you and the day you killed my family…But that’s what you’ve been wanting me to think about…that’s how you’ve been getting your immortal healing powers.”

Cloud looked Sephiroth in the eye with a dark expression and added. “Well guess what, Sephiroth…you’re not going to haunt me anymore.”

Cloud turned and walked away from Sephiroth. He stopped several meters away from Sephiroth and just stood with his back turned. Sephiroth smiled and slowly walked towards him.

“You won’t forget me, Cloud.” said Sephiroth. “You’re not strong enough to do so. You can’t even let go of the darkness…you are and will always be one with the darkness.”

Cloud didn’t turn around. He didn’t even attempt to look at Sephiroth.

“Wrong…the light is my ally now…it has always been with me…I’ve just never tapped into it… until now.” said Cloud.

Sephiroth winced, growled, and dropped his sword. Sephiroth looked at his right arm and saw blood pouring out of a giant wound that was up and down his arm. It was the very cut that Cloud gave him years ago. He cringed then looked down and saw a huge gash on his leg that was also dripping with blood.

It finally dawned on Sephiroth what was happening. Every cut and wound that Cloud inflicted on him in the past was now starting to show up. And it appeared that Cloud was blocking out any thoughts involving him, which meant his ability to heal was leaving him.

Sephiroth scowled at Cloud.

“Cloud!” he shouted.

He then marched over to Cloud, but as soon as he touched Cloud on the shoulder with his left hand, he gave out a loud growl. Sephiroth pulled his hand away and began to back up. He looked at his scorched left hand and saw smoke rising from it.

Sephiroth turned his gaze back to Cloud and said. “What the?”

Cloud slowly turned around and looked at Sephiroth with a peaceful smile on his face. Cloud didn’t allow any negative thoughts to flow through his mind. The only thoughts that passed in his head were positive ones. But one image stayed in his mind.

“You can’t take my light.” Cloud said to Sephiroth as the image of Tifa remained in his head. “You can’t take my love…now be gone…and be forgotten.”

Cloud turned until his back was facing Sephiroth. Sephiroth frowned and gritted teeth.

“Damn you, Cloud.” Sephiroth snarled. He slowly backed away and added. “Damn you…it’s not over…I can’t die…I’m immortal…I’M IMMORTAL!!!!”

“Wrong.” said Cloud. “You aren’t immortal…and truthfully, you never were……… Now be gone…and finally be forgotten.”

Sephiroth backed away until he saw his sword on the ground. He reached down to get it and that’s when he gasped and coughed. Blood started coming out of his mouth. Sephiroth looked down and saw a giant wound on his chest. The same place where Cloud stabbed him years ago.

Sephiroth fell to his knees and looked at Cloud.

“Cloud.” He said in a weak tone.

Cloud didn’t turn and look at him.

“Cloud!” Sephiroth said with much more force.

But Cloud didn’t look at him.

Sephiroth coughed again then growled and looked up.

“DAMN YOU, CLOUD!!!!” Sephiroth shouted at the top of his lungs.

Suddenly Sephiroth exploded and light engulfed the whole area.

Cloud slowly opened his eyes and looked around the white room that he was in. He was about to sit up a little when a gentle hand touched his chest.

“Hey…try not to over do it.” said a feminine voice.

Cloud looked to his right and saw Tifa sitting in a chair beside his bed. He looked at her for a second then leaned back on the bed. He suddenly spotted a young man with spiky hair standing against the wall near a door.

Cloud looked back at Tifa and asked. “Where am I?”

Tifa took her hand off Cloud's chest and replied. “You’re in a hospital.”

Cloud frowned and asked. “On what planet?”

“Radiant Garden.” said the young man with spiky hair. “You’ve been out for at least four hours.”

“Who are you?” asked Cloud.

The young man shot him a funny look then walked a little closer and asked. “Don’t you recognize me?”

Cloud just stared at him.

The young man sighed and said. “It’s me…Sora.”

Cloud frowned and gazed at him for a long time. He finally spoke. “Sora? Is that really you?”

“Last time I checked.” replied Sora.

Cloud slowly shook his head and said. “Boy you’ve grown………wait…how long have I been gone?”

Sora and Tifa looked at each other then turned their gazes back at Cloud.

“You’ve been gone for four years.” said Tifa.

Cloud stared at them for a second then looked straight ahead.

“Where’ve you been all this time?” asked Tifa.

Cloud didn’t respond immediately. He looked at Tifa and said. “In a realm that I’ve now forgotten…a realm that I’ll never remember.”

Tifa, a confused expression on her face, looked down for a second.

Sora folded his arms and said. “Hey, uh…Cloud.”

“Yeah?” said Cloud.

“Since you’re back…is HE back as well?” Sora asked with a frown.

Cloud stared at Sora for a second then smiled thinly, which kind of took both Tifa and Sora by surprise.

“No.” said Cloud. “He’s gone…finally, he’s gone.”

Sora breathed out a sigh and wiped his brow.

Tifa smiled at Cloud and said. “Well, I’m just so glad that you’re back.”

She slowly took his hand in hers and added in a soft tone. “I’ve missed you a lot.”

Cloud looked down and saw that Tifa had his hand laced in her hand. He slowly looked up at her and that’s when their eyes locked. They stared at each other for a while and soon their stare became a little more…intimate. Cloud felt this weird feeling inside him and he knew why. He knew how he felt.

Cloud gently squeezed Tifa’s hand, which caused Tifa to smile. Sora looked at them both and immediately knew what was going on.

Sora smiled and said. “I’m going to leave you two to catch up. Besides I still haven’t gotten to that potion shop yet so, um…I’ll see you guys around.”

They both looked at Sora and Cloud said. “Alright. We’ll talk to you later, Sora. It was good to see you again.”

“Likewise.” said Sora.

Sora then turned and exited Cloud’s hospital room.

That was so totally awesome! dancing applause

I love how long your chapters are, you don't have to change that. I'm a speed reader, so anything to engage me like that is welcome.

THe flashback with Sephiroth had to be my favorite part so far (I'm not unbiased, I'm really not. I just happen to be a fangirl. LOL rolling_eyes ). Then I loved Tifa's and Clouds reunion. *sigh*

Yay! Cloud is back!!! dancing

This is awesome!!!

And I loved that Torres thinks the council hates him by putting him with Alema and Tahiri...that part was really funny!!! laugh

Ben and Jysella mush was nice, too. Isn't it always the way...constant interruptions?!? nice to know that got to finish what they started, though wink

You're right, it was a very long chapter, but I don't mind... I love long updates!!!

I think you have the longest chapters I've ever read!!! How many pages are they in word, might I ask?? I'm guessing at least 10? tongue

Thanks for the PM! hugs

You've done another wonderful job! I think this is the best cross-over 'fic I've ever read...who would have thought a KH/SW 'fic could work, but you're pulling it off beautifully!!! Well done!!! applause

Ant. alien_2

P.S. I can't wait to see more of Cloud...he's one of my favourite KH characters...next to Kairi, and Sora...
happy
