	Tittle:The Tenel Ka Chronicles Rated: PG-13 Summery: In the midst of tragedy two old friends find their feeling go beyond friendship and into love. Part 1 in the Tenel Ka chronicles. Part 1:Royal coronation It was another peaceful day on Yavin 4 and Jacen Solo and Tenel Ka, had taken the day off from their Jedi training to spend a day relaxing in the jungle. As said before the day was beautiful, and they were completely alone, since Jaina, Lowie, and Zeck were all training and would be for the better part of the day, unbeknown to the two friends, the nature of their relationship was about to change forever. “Jacen where are you”, she asked annoyed at the interruption of their conversation once she realized that he was no longer there? “Be right there.” “Jacen I was talking to you—” “One second I promise it’ll be worth the wait.” “It better”, she said crossly. Jacen couldn’t help but smile at her indignation. A moment later Tenel Ka could hear his footsteps as he came up behind her then stopped just three paces away from her. “Close your eyes.” “Jacen!” “Please?” Tenel Ka gave an exasperated sigh but did as she was asked. Jacen took a necklace from his tunic and placed it around her neck, taking her right hand he placed it to her throat. “Now, open your eyes.” When Tenel Ka looked down she found a single gem hanging from a chain. “It’s called a Coruca gem I got it from Lando’s mine I’ve been saving it for a special occasion. Now I know you don’t wear gems, but since it’s the hardest substance in the galaxy maybe you can use it as a weapon.” He gave her a sidelong smile. “This is a fact.” They were silent as they stared into each other’s eyes, no longer seeing the respect and admiration of friendship, but the passion and indecision of love.
