gotta love R2 recording the marriage preposal ha- I think Luke would have liked to see it though. A great update as always look forward to more and hope DRL gives you time for this creative work. thanks for the pm also.

Mara was so startled, her blade jerked off course. Luke sent an inquiry through the Force, and she hurriedly reassured him and resumed her work.
"You know he doesn't remember asking me about marriage," she whispered to the droid, lowering her voice even though the door was surely soundproof. "His memory got wiped."
*I could show him a recording of that time period,* Artoo returned.
"Don't you dare!" Mara forced herself to pay attention to where her lightsaber was going. "You recorded his marriage proposal?"
*I record many things.*

Loved the L/M mush, of course. But my fave was R2. He's such a character; one of the most developed characters I think in the entire saga and you wrote him well.
Looking forward to more.

Artoo beeped in what sounded like frustration. Great, now she was understanding the little astromech. She used to make fun of how Luke could converse with his metal friend.

Loved the update. I really did like Mara commit to Leia about the oldest person needing transport just like it was a casual conversation. That is just like Mara and her dry wit. The conversation between L/M was very sweet. Yet I do hope he does remember some parts of thier past relationship because it did connect them so deeply in the Force and as best friends. Do not think that Luke was to worry about "shortcomings"  because of the way Mara's step became lighter and brisk. Artoo is so cute. Like the way that her refers to Mara as Mistress. The little guy just alawys knows and records EVERYTHING. Wonder what all Artoo has recorded lately. Super job and thanks.
