L0B0: Once again, I like the way that you have included Artoo in this fic, and that there may still be a future for L/M --- if they manage survive this plot reasonably unscathed, that is... -- They're not out of the woods -- or tunnel -- yet. And poor Artoo is still woefully behind in screen time. Thanks! And yes, you got Firsties. LOL!

And just why is the Bakuran so crutsty about Luke.
Most Bakurans just don't like Jedi, period. It's the whole Cosmic Balance thing. Ra'uf, of course, has the 'you killed my father' thing going. 
VaderLVR64: Gotta love Artoo. I'm surprised he's never gone into the extortion business! -- But what would he buy with the credits? More oil baths? LOL! Thanks!
PonyTricks: Maybe Ra'uf has a point about droids... -- There are times when restraining bolts could come in handy. Mara may start carrying one with her.  Thanks for all your help.

That's our Mara. I really like Luke's characterization in this post, too. I can see him speaking and acting just like this under the circumstances.  And someone needs to just disable Artoo's recording unit, already.

Why is it that secret tunnels and underground passages forebode terrible things to come? Will it be a giant boulder or compressing walls?

actually, R2 recording the proposal isn't that bad. After all, if he hadn't downloaded the Caamas document, they would be having a lot more problems.

makes a good point, why wouldn't artoo try and find a way to corner Luke and do a small 'data restore' at least of some necessary files
especially if he records them, maybe he's waiting to be asked

Just stopping by to assure everyone that my 'remembrance' of this fic has definitely not been shattered. Real life hasn't let up yet, not to mention that my muse isn't cooperating. I am puttering away at the next chapter, so maybe it won't be too much longer, though I do have to go on a short trip later this week.
Now for some long overdue replies:

That's our Mara. I really like Luke's characterization in this post, too. I can see him speaking and acting just like this under the circumstances. And didn't that shot of Artoo on his 'tiptoes,' peering into Yoda's hut, prove what a Peeping Tom he is?
