I love this story, but as it is one of many I read I have suddenly become confused!
Not by your writing. You are clear, just I think I need to go back and read again from the beginning. I know I will enjoy doing so.
I do like that Kyp and Jaina are drawing closer. Bery sweet. and now you've included allana. THAT! Should prove verrry interesting!

iamobiwan1970:
I completely understand - I do that all the time. I'm glad that you like the Kyp/Jaina moments, but it seems my preferred shipping is outnumbered - most people prefer Jaina paired with either Zekk or usually Jag. I'm one for the more unusual pairings mostly. In any case, I'm happy you like Jaina/Kyp moments. Allana's arrival was a last minute decision, but one that changed my story completely around. I'm glad I chose to do that.

Wow, thank you!! I'm flattered!

Zekk stopped short when he saw Jaina and Kyp. He glanced at Solo and Durron, then back to the first Jaina and Kyp. His mouth opened, closed, and opened again. “Did I miss something?”
“You miss a lot of things, Zekk,” Jacen said dryly as he walked up to Tenel. “Your Majesty,” he said, grinning as he bent to kiss her hand. Tenel rolled her eyes.
“You’re such a nerf-herder, Jacen,” she said as she lightly pushed him away. But everyone could see the light blush that tinged her cheeks. “This is not the time for joking,” she added in a more serious tone. “I’m afraid that we ran into some trouble on our way here.” She glanced at Jaina and Kyp, then to Luke. “Master Luke, what is going on?”
Luke sighed – he knew this would happen someday. “Everyone, listen up,” he said in a loud voice. “This,” he motioned to Jaina and Kyp, “is Jaina Solo and Kyp Durron.”
There was a pause.
“Uh, we kinda already figured that out,” Corran said.
Luke glared at him. “It’s not what you think. They’re both from an alternate universe.”
“We kinda already figured that out, too,” Corran said.
Mara glared at him. “Either you shut the mouth or I singe it shut with my lightsaber,” she growled.
Corran shrugged. “Easy opening. I went for it. So sue me.”
“Enough!” Luke shouted, irritated. “Would everyone please listen?” After shooting Corran an angry look, he continued, “We don’t know how or why Jaina and Kyp got here, but we do know that a Sith Lord from their universe has also managed to get here. We need to find him and stop him before he does any damage here.” He then turned to Tenel Ka. “Now, what happened?”
“We were ambushed by a group of dissenters from Hapes,” Zekk said, stepping forward. “Luckily, we managed to evade their shots, but we’re worried something might be happening on Hapes – maybe an uprising.”
“What kind of uprising?” Jacen questioned as he put a protective arm around Tenel’s waist. Jaina saw this and looked away, cringing.
Tenel sighed. “It’s an anti-royal group that’s been underground for years. It started when my grandmother came to the throne, and it’s only grown under her rule. She was not a pleasant woman, as I’m sure most of you know. Apparently they’re trying to overthrow the Queen Mother.”
“Wait, wait, hold it,” Corran said, rubbing his forehead. “Let me see if I got this right. You two,” he looked at Jaina and Kyp, “are from an alternate universe, you’ve brought a Sith Lord from your alternate universe that we now have to stop, and now there’s a Hapian rebellion that almost murdered you, Tenel Ka. Did I miss anything?”
“Your brain, maybe?” Durron said innocently.
Luke cleared his throat. “The main issue now is the Sith Lord.” He looked at Jaina and Kyp. “Mara told me you might know where to find him?”
Jaina didn’t dare look at Jacen. “Yes,” she said. “He’s on Coruscant.”
“And you know this how?” Kyle Katarn said curiously.
Jaina froze. How could she tell them that she had a special connection – a sibling connection – with the Sith? At her hesitation, Kyp intervened, “Because it’s the last place we were fighting him in our own universe. I ended up on Corusant myself.”
“But Jaina didn’t,” Jacen said, puzzled. “Why?”
Jaina and Kyp exchanged glances. They hadn’t thought about that, either.
“We don’t know,” Kyp answered honestly. “The Force works in mysterious ways, I guess. Or so I’ve heard.” He smirked at Luke.
“So what are we waiting for, then?” Kyle said impatiently. “Let’s go to Coruscant and kill the Sith before he does any damage to our universe. As if we didn’t have enough trouble in our own universe already,” he muttered.
Jaina’s eyes widened at the thought of most of the Jedi going to Coruscant. They’d find out who the Sith really was if they did so. And as much as she hated Caedus, Jacen was no Sith. Hurt as she was just looking at her other-universe twin, she couldn’t bring herself to tell everyone that he was the Sith. Anakin already knew - but how could she tell Jacen that he was a Sith? That he had murdered his own family? That he had nearly murdered his own daughter?
Luckily Allana was somewhere safe, Jaina thought. Back in her own universe, hidden from Caedus’s gripping claws. Poor Allana, she thought, heartbroken. To have a father like that… She looked down. Sometime soon, very soon, she would have to tell everyone the truth.
Everyone, that is, but Jacen.
“Sticks?” Kyp squeezed her hand.
Jaina looked up sadly. “I’m… I’m fine, Kyp. I’m just a little tired.”
“You want to go back to the apartment?” Mara asked, concerned.
Jaina shook her head slowly. “No, I…” she sighed. “I’ll be fine. Really.” She glanced at Kyp.
Kyp, we need to tell them the truth.
Kyp’s eyes narrowed.
Tell who, exactly?
Closest familiy first, for one,
Jaina answered.
And then maybe the others.
But what about Jacen? Tenel Ka? How can we tell them this?
Jaina looked away.
We won’t. They don’t need to know. It would ruin them.
“She’s so cute,” Riley cooed as she bounced Allana on her knee in the kitchen of Zane’s ship. Zane watched her warily, somewhat disturbed that the normally cold assassin was acting so motherly. On the other hand, he was encouraged by her behavior – maybe she wouldn’t object to actually becoming a mother in the future.
Of course, he had to ask her to marry him, first. But how to ask a girl who could twist your neck as much as look you that you want to spend the rest of your life with her?
“We should have kids of our own someday,” Riley said dreamily as she smiled down at a giggling Allana.
Zane froze. That did it.
“Marry me.”
Riley didn’t skip a beat. “All right,” she said lightly, still smiling at Allana. Zane gaped.
“W-what?” he stammered.
“I said all right,” she said airily.
He continued to stare at her in disbelief. “Really?”
“Really.”
“Oh. Well, all right then,” he said awkwardly.
“Good.” She handed Allana a piece of shurra fruit for the girl to munch on as she smoothed down her hair.
Zane felt like he was in a dream – he slowly, shakily rose to his feet. “I, uh, better go… tell the crew, then.” He began to slowly walk out, but Riley’s voice, sharp and clear, shook him from his trance.
“I’m waiting for that ring, Dawson.”
After the adjourned Council meeting, Kyp decided to see how his smuggler friends were fairing; and, knowing Jaina needed a break, as she was still incredibly fragile, he took her along with him.
He entered the bridge and found Jevin and Zane talking in low but excited voices. “Hey,” he announced.
Zane looked at him and grinned. “Hey yourself, Other-Universer,” he said in a friendly tone, walking up to him. Glancing at Jaina, he said, “Hello, I’m Zane Dawson, captain of this ship. I’m guessing you’re Jaina.”
Jaina smiled faintly and took his hand. “Thank you for bringing him to me,” she said gratefully. “I owe you.”
Zane blushed. “Ah, it’s nothing,” he said uncomfortably.
“Jaina wanted to officially meet you,” Kyp explained. “And I thought I’d pop in, too, and see how you’re holding up.”
Zane grinned brightly. “Great,” he said happily. “You know, the usual – ship’s running well, made a lot of money on our last pickup… just got engaged.”
Kyp’s eyes widened, and he slapped Zane on the back. “Finally got the courage to do it, huh?” he laughed. At Jaina’s confused expression, he said, “His girlfriend – fiancée, now – is a former assassin. She’s as tough as you.”
“Only scarier,” Zane joked.
“Obviously you haven’t seen Jaina in action,” Kyp said dryly as Jaina smiled. “So, did you propose to her – or did she propose to you?”
Zane glowered at the Jedi. “I proposed to her. She’s in the kitchen.” He looked at Jaina. “Want to meet her?”
Jaina nodded. “I’d love to.”
“Great! She’s right through there. Sorry, but I promised your boyfriend here earlier that I’d show him the designs for the ship. Mind if I borrow him?”
Jaina shook her head, saying, “Of course not. Give me some time to talk to another girl, anyway.” She flashed a quick smile at Kyp.
“The kitchen’s right through there,” Zane pointed through a doorway. “Last door on your left.”
“Thank you.” Jaina nodded and smoothly disappeared down the corridor. Remembering what Zane had said, she continued down the hall until she found the last door on the left. As the door opened in front of her, she entered a warmly lit, nice-smelling room. Countertops lined the room, and a large table with many chairs was situated in the center of the room. At the table sat a beautiful young woman, who looked up when she came in.
“Hello,” the woman said. “You must be Jaina Solo.” She nodded, smiling slightly. “I’m Riley Halev.” She adjusted the small figure in her arms as to face Jaina.
Jaina gasped as she stared at the little girl in Riley’s arms.
Everyone on Zane Dawson’s ship froze in terror as, without warning, a chilling, pained, heart-wrenching cry from Jaina Solo tore through the tranquil peace.

Poor Jaina . She thought Allana was safe but now she's back in the middle of it.
Corran and Mara are terrible . I've met better kids.
Nice update.

Zekk stopped short when he saw Jaina and Kyp. He glanced at Solo and Durron, then back to the first Jaina and Kyp. His mouth opened, closed, and opened again. “Did I miss something?”
No, it's perfectly normal for your eyes to be seeing double, Zekk.
“We kinda already figured that out, too,” Corran said.
Mara glared at him. “Either you shut the mouth or I singe it shut with my lightsaber,” she growled.
Corran shrugged. “Easy opening. I went for it. So sue me.”
Phsst! Gotta love Corran!
“Really?”
“Really.”
Aww, I totally love your two OCs.
Great development.
Jaina gasped as she stared at the little girl in Riley’s arms.
Everyone on Zane Dawson’s ship froze in terror as, without warning, a chilling, pained, heart-wrenching cry from Jaina Solo tore through the tranquil peace
And here comes the next big problem... now that Jaina knows about Allana, a) how is she going to react? and b) What does she tell the AU Jacen and Tenel Ka? Oh, and c) What happens when AU Jacen and Tenel Ka meet Allana, if that happens at all?
So many questions!
Looking forwards to more!

So now Allana is stuck in the same universe that Jaina and Kyp got sent into? AM I right on this? Wow its going to be weird and freaky if Allana meets up with the alternate Jacen and Tenel Ka. Great stuff, can't wait for more.

Many things!
jaina-Fett:
Yes, and just as Jaina was beginning to recover... I fear for her - and Allana. Kyp has his hands full. Corran and Mara need a time-out, don't you agree?
Idrelle_Miocovani:
Your first comment had me laughing!
Corran, I think, is a great character. I really like most of the EU Jedi. They're so much more real. Glad you like my OCs!! I have developed a great fondness for them as well by writing them. I like writing them as much as the real characters now! But SHH! Don't tell anyone I said that. So many questions, indeed! I'm afraid Jaina's reacted rather badly, but we'll see how this plays out. Thanks always for the comments, Idri!
PHGS_Weyr:
Thank you so much! I'm thankful you've stuck with this fic for so long.
SilSolo:
We'll see! They certainly have a problem.
smash128:
Yes, you're right. And yes, it will be odd if they meet. Thanks for the review!
princess_of_naboo:
Aw, thank you!
_sticks:
Most certainly!
To whomever nominated this fic for Best Female Canon Interpretation, THANK YOU!!!

Mara glared at him. “Either you shut the mouth or I singe it shut with my lightsaber,” she growled.
Corran shrugged. “Easy opening. I went for it. So sue me.”
“Enough!” Luke shouted, irritated. “Would everyone please listen?”
And whoa, a little snappy there, eh Luke?
“What kind of uprising?” Jacen questioned as he put a protective arm around Tenel’s waist. Jaina saw this and looked away, cringing.
Poor Jaya. It's too bad that Caedus has been so terrible that she can't even enjoy seeing how J/TK
should've
worked out.
Poor Corran, everyone has it out for him today.
Luckily Allana was somewhere safe, Jaina thought. Back in her own universe, hidden from Caedus’s gripping claws.
Or not... Poor Allana, how did she ever get pulled into the other universe? I wonder if she'll help bring Caedus back to the light, but if he already tried to murder her I doubt it...
Of course, he had to ask her to marry him, first. But how to ask a girl who could twist your neck as much as look you that you want to spend the rest of your life with her?
Bluntly, of course! I loved it, he really should've done it earlier. But then again, maybe Riley wouldn't have been in touch with her feminine side yet.
“I’m waiting for that ring, Dawson.”
I just had a vision of Riley getting into a fistfight and being happy that her ring cuts people's faces so easily when she punches them.
“So, did you propose to her – or did she propose to you?”
Zane glowered at the Jedi. “I proposed to her.
Technically... but she definitely set you up for it, Zaney boy.
Sorry it took me so long to read and reply to this, Serena. I've been in this mini-phase where I don't feel much like reading things, it's terrible!
