	HEy, you posted! Glad to see you're in good spirits. As for your luke-warm performance at that writing course, there's nothing to feel down about. I must admit that college writing courses are tricky but I feel that like anything else, writing takes practice to get good at. Heck, a portion of published writers started out raw at first and I've noticed that your writing as improved (and gotten longer) since the first post of Between Love and Hate I. WEll, I hope that your next post comes in soon, as I'm always looking forwards to reading it. -----signature----- Do or do not, there is no spoon! 	“You can think tomorrow. Let’s go back to bed.” Tahiri giggled and turned around to wrap her arms around Ryker’s neck. Ryker kissed his girlfriend fiercely taking Tahiri a little by surprise but she fought back quickly. He quickly scooped her up into his arms, and Tahiri threw her head back laughing as he carried down the hall back to his bedroom. Awww.... mush, mush, MUSH!!! Just what I needed to finish my evening online with. I just love Rykiri mush, it's the best, and this post had bucket loads of lovely mush for me to devour! Definitely worth the wait, and don't worry about RL getting in the way - I completely understand, and so do everyone else reading, I think. Just know that I'll still be here wanting to read whenever you get the time to post. Once again, thanks for the mush, it was wonderful! 	I love mush!!! eespecially if its ryhiri mush with a little zekina in the mix. Grabbing a carton of blue milk from it and pouring herself a glass, she took small sips reliving the night’s events: Jaina’s announcement, Ryker shock, the sheer volume of alcohol that Twin Suns consumed, Layla catching the bouquet–much to Nooska’s dismay. Tahiri didn’t know how she felt about Ryker’s promotion. I think that this promotion is going to cause some drama...but then again I love that. I can`t wait for Ryker`s first day it should be interesting especially with all those rowdy pilots. By the way, who`s Layla again?? D.J

I'm not naturally good at everything, but darn it if i don't try the hardest to learn to be good at things. 	I'm sorry for the really really long delay. Decemeber was an eventful month for me. This post has actually been done for awhile and i've been sitting on it trying to catch my life up. But i can't wait any longer, so it's extra long for ya ~Rose Post Two Jaina packed another bag full of presents she had bought. She had gone slightly overboard with buying gifts on her honeymoon, but she figured it was the least she could do for the people she had been driving crazy for the last two months with wedding things. Even though they weren’t leaving until tomorrow, Jaina had had the inclination to pack and-that was her least favorite thing to do. Zekk was folding up his clothes in the other room, not bothering to argue with his wife when she was in one of those moods. It felt funny for him to have a wife. He had been with Jaina half of his life one way or another but he had a hard time grasping the severity of the word wife. He smiled a little as he thought of Jaina as Mrs. Zekk with no last name. He hadn’t decided what he wanted to do about that. He was tempted to take a trip to Ennth to search the hall of records for his parents or his birth record, but he doubted that they hadn’t been destroyed in the last flood, earthquake, whatever had hit it in the last eight years. He had also thought about taking Jaina’s last name but he wasn’t sure he was ready to do that, let alone what Jaina’s parents would think. “Hey Jaina,” Zekk called into the other room, “What do you want for lunch? There's supposed to be a great Bakuran place on the other side of this island." “We could do that,” Jaina said. Suddenly, feeling lightheaded, she touched her forehead, feeling the pain increase in other places. Zekk’s arms were the only thing keeping her upright. He picked her up gingerly and carried her to the couch. He felt her forehead but she brushed it off. “I’m fine,” she said, sitting up straight and feeling lightheaded again. “It’s not me.” “Through the force?” Zekk asked her, his eyebrow raised. If someone had died he would feel it too. “Yeah, I think its Tenel Kaaaaa!” she shrieked. “Now I know its Tenel Ka, because not only am I feeling pain, I’m feeling panic as well. Jacen’s panicking like there is no tomorrow.” Zekk could feel Jacen’s worry making him feel slightly relieved that his wife was fine. “Zekk...” Jaina started, but he cut her off. “No, I don’t mind cutting our honeymoon short to-” Zekk managed to get out, before Jaina took his face in her hands and kissed him. “And that’s why I love you...” she whispered as she pulled away and hopped off the couch. She still felt woozy, but she quickly threw all her belongings into her bags, and then started on Zekk’s. Zekk grabbed the completed bags as fast as he could and took them down to load in the Solo’s Pride. In less than an hour they had checked out of their island cabana, and jumped into hyperspace on their way to Hapes. Jaina still felt funny but the pain had subsided and the worry had grown. She had been unable to get a hold of her brother and he had blocked her out. Her only relief was knowing that as long as Jacen and Tenel Ka were together they would be alright. ------------------------------------------------------ Jacen buried his head in his hands. He had been sitting outside the med bay for a little over an hour replaying the events in his head over and over. Tenel Ka had been in her office after an excruciating four hour debate in the Hapan Senate about properties rights. She had looked exhausted but radiant as always. The twins had just been put down for their afternoon nap and Jacen and Tenel Ka were enjoying a brief moment alone before they both went back to work. Then in the next moment - and Jacen was still wasn't sure what happened - Tenel Ka was laying on the floor writhing in pain and screaming out in the Force like she had never done. He couldn’t remember the next few minutes. They all blurred together and what he remembered wasn’t in any sort of order. He remembered Anora running into the room, her blasters raised, Tenel Ka on a stretcher, the twins crying and then being here in the med bay. The doctors were doing all they could. Clighal and Luke were rushing as fast as they could to get here, but it all felt funny to Jacen. Clighal rushed past him, Luke and Mara following right behind her. Clighal didn’t even stop as the nurses yelled at her. She simply waved her hands and doors flew open and people moved out of her way. Luke stopped at his nephew, and Mara stopped unsure of who she should follow. Ultimately she decided that Clighal was going to need more help than Luke. “She’s going to be fine,” Luke told him. Jacen looked up just briefly and then back down at the floor. Luke grinned slightly, “I know she’s going to be fine. This is coming from a guy who’s died like three times.” Luke paced for a few more minutes before sitting down across from Jacen. “Jaina’s on her way,” Jacen said, trying to distract himself. “Your mom is too.” Luke and Jacen exchange knowing glances. There was something about being a twin in this family that was both comforting and all too knowing at the same time. What felt like hours later Clighal and Mara came out of the room. Mara was beaming at her nephew, but Clighal looked exhausted. She rushed over to some nurses and began waving frantically. “She’s fine. There are some complications. Clighal will be able to explain those once the nurses get done with her. You have a completely healthy baby boy. He’s got ten fingers, ten toes and a mop of blond hair.” Mara said, anticipating Jacen’s question. He got up from the chair without a word, hugged his aunt and walked into the room with his wife. Jaina and Zekk skidded into the room moments later. Jaina looked panicked and uneasy. Mara held her hands up to her niece and Jaina sighed deeply somehow knowing everything was okay. “Your parents will be here shortly,” Luke said as Jaina hugged him. ~~ Jacen wiggled his fingers at his newborn son, picking him up gingerly from his bassinet. He sat down with him in the chair next to his wife’s bed. She was asleep but uneasy. Jacen could feel it radiating off of her and he tried to shield the baby from it. Something was still wrong, but Jacen couldn’t pinpoint it. The baby yawned, opening his bright blue eyes and looking up at his dad for the first time. Jacen grinned at him. The baby looked nothing like his sisters; Astria had the messy brown mop and eyes that always made Jacen think of his sister; Aolani was a mix having Jacen’s brown eyes, but Tenel Ka fire-red hair. In fact, the baby reminded him of Anakin more than anyone. Jacen swallowed hard, He wished his little brother could be here for this. “He’s beautiful,” Tenel Ka croaked from the bed next to him, in a half-awake gaze. “Are you alright?” “I’ve had better days.” Tenel Ka rolled over as Clighal peeked her head in the door. Tenel Ka motioned for her to come in. “How bad is it?” “I wish I had better news for you,” Clighal sighed. “Even if I had gotten here sooner, there wouldn’t be anything I could have done. It seems that something ruptured, but the doctors couldn’t pinpoint what or why. The swelling has subsided now, but the doctors don’t think you will be able to have anymore children, and I would have to agree that it’s in your best interest.” Jacen and Tenel Ka exchanged looks of disappointment, solemn and gratitude. “Thank you Clighal,” Jacen said, “Will you give a moment before you let the family in?” Clighal nodded, and quietly exited the room. “I don’t know what it was,” Tenel Ka told him, “I was fine one second and then the next I was in the most awful pain.” She said reaching her arms out for her son. Jacen got up and put the baby in them. The moment their hands connected Jacen felt himself being pulled somewhere else. His mind went gray, then blue and then all these flashes streamed at him: Jaina crying, a coffin, his dad drinking in a bar, his daughters as teenagers. The flashes went on but he couldn’t pinpoint what they all were, and then he was at the temple on Yavin 4. It looked the way it did before the war, when he was training there. “He’s beautiful,” a voice from behind him said. Jacen smiled upon hearing it, turning around to face him. “Jaina’s going to be pissed you appeared to Tahiri and myself, and not her.” Jacen smirked at his little brother. “Jaina doesn’t need me. The path chose her. She won’t sway or be any less determined to do what she has to. Sword of the Jedi suits her. You, on the other hand, need to be shown because what stands before you could be the turning point. You stand at the crossroads.” Anakin replied. Jacen raised an eyebrow at him, “What does that mean? What are those flashes about?” Jacen asked him waving his arms for emphasis. Anakin simply shook his head. “Anakin, what am I supposed to choose? What’s coming? Is it what caused Tenel Ka to go into labor early?” Jacen practically shouted at his brother. “You’ll know,” Anakin sighed, “and I think they are going to love his name.” When Jacen blinked again he was back in the hospital room handing his son over to a very worried looking Tenel Ka. “You saw something,” she stated taking the baby into her arms. Jacen nodded but changed subjects. “It’s time for the family to meet the newest addition. I’ll talk to you about it later.” As if she had heard him, Jaina popped her head in. “Can we come in already? Mom is driving me crazy out here.” Jacen and Tenel Ka started laughing, prompting the family to file in. Tenel Ka handed the baby over to Leia, who couldn’t wait to get her hands on her first grandson. Leia beamed down at him, tears filling her eyes. “He looks just like Anakin,” she sniffled. “You know I think Anakin is thinking the same thing,” Jacen said getting an inquisitive look from his sister. “And I know he would approve of his name.” “Well don’t keep us in suspense boy,” Han growled at him. “We thought we’d name the baby after someone who changed the course of our lives,” Tenel Ka started, “Both together and individually and who inspired us. We gave him a big name to live up to, but we think he can do it.” Jacen looked at his wife smiled and then turned back towards his family who were staring at him perplexed. “I’d like to introduce you to Lucas Isolder Chume Djo Solo.” This was all it took for his mother to burst into tears handing Lucas off to Isolder. Han put his arm around his wife trying to get to clam down and not make a scene. “He does look like what I imagine you did as a baby,” Mara ribbed Luke a little. “Only one person knows for sure and she’s in tears right now,” Luke looked at his sister and laughed. 	Hey, you're back! And you're front page too! A cute little chapter, even though Tenel Ka got a hell of a C-section. I liked how you mentioned Luke dying 3 times, as I'm sure he probably has zombie status by now. I remember that he died in Courtship of Princess Leia, and before that he croaked temporarily in Alan Dean Foster's first book (I don't remember it's name but it came out before Empire Strikes Back) but I don't remember the third time. Are you talking about his coma during the Jedi Academy trilogy or is there another story that I don't remember. Well, keep up the good work and I hope you can post again soon. BTW, am I the only one that got a Dead Zone-esque vibe when Jacen got his vision from touching his wife's hand? -----signature----- Do or do not, there is no spoon! 	Great post! I read the post before last but never seemed to post on it. I'm glad the baby was born! You surprised me though. I thought they were going to name him Anakin since he talked to his brother right before he named the boy.
