Jade: I can't find my thumb drive... my purse ate it! So the next update may take a little while. But nonetheless... I found someone's high speed internet I can borrow! So I am happy once again. You will get one before August 24, I promise.

darkjedileia: Hi! Update will come as soon as my purse coughs up my flash drive. That had better be soon.

Just thought I'd let all you readers know, I'm not dead yet... and there will be another update before the end of the month. Promise.

Hi. [Monty Python Accent]I'm not dead yet.[/Monty Python Accent]. Just without good internet, in a boring job, depressed, hating life. So to cheer me up, here's another update while I try to ressurect my Muse and get my other stories going.

The Falcon tumbled through the atmosphere of Bastion as Han tried desperately to stabilize it with the repulsorlifts. It wasn’t working; the fall became more and more erratic. Luke and Alix, strapped into the passenger seats, were becoming very nervous.

If their mysterious pursuer wanted them alive, his chances of getting that were now greatly decreased.

Alix remembered for a moment what Jaina had mentioned in passing several months before. “If you refuse to join me, you will be destroyed…” Was this some kind of macabre karmic justice for Alix since she refused to turn? Or was it just another one of Jaina’s machinations?

“It's not your fault,” Luke mentioned.

Han jumped a little. “I hate that mind-reading thing you Jedi do.”

“My emotions are probably pretty obvious.” Alix sighed. “I’ve been in so much turmoil lately that the whole universe probably knows how upset I am.”

“Nonetheless, none of this is your fault. It’s just your Sithly mother being insane again.”

“None of you think she’s sane.”

“It’s rather obvious, isn’t it?” Han rolled his eyes. “She’s a complete nutcase if she thinks she can get away with any of this.”

Alix replied thoughtfully, “Sanity is all relative. Mom probably thinks she’s perfectly normal and that we’re the deluded ones.”

Luke nodded assent. “You’re right, Alix. Psychopaths usually never recognise their behaviour as abnormal, and often assert their sanity even when the distinct lack thereof is obvious.”

“When did you get your psychiatry degree?” Han asked.

Luke smiled. “It’s just a part of working with Sith.”

“Are they all lunatics too?”

Alix laughed at that. “I don’t know. Insanity is all relative.”

“Either that, or all my relatives are just crazy.” Han shot a dirty look at Luke and Alix. “Now, if you two would hold off on the philosophical discussion while I try to land us in one piece…”

The Falcon plummeted faster and faster, the repulsors struggling to keep up with the descent. Finally, the ground of Bastion rushed up and met them in the face…

Alix’s last thought before the blackness enveloped her was a wish that Jaina would never find her…

* * *

Jaina sent another blast of lightning at the unfortunate messenger. “You know what the orders were. Alive and unharmed. Now you come to me saying that their ship crashed? How dare you!”

The messenger cringed in terror. “Lady Lyssa, forgive me, but I do not know what happened, if they are alive or not! Please don’t punish me-“

His last words were lost in a scream as Jaina vented more of her anger through the lightning. She left the messenger to his own devices, and flew off to contact Fett.

“Lady Lyssa.” Fett was all courtesy and professionalism. “May I help you?”

“What do you think you’re doing?” Jaina did not even bother with the formalities of a greeting. “You shot down the Millennium Falcon. Are the passengers alive? Don’t you dare try to escape the issue.”

Fett’s cool demeanour definitely impressed Jaina, and he explained to her in outright honesty what had happened. “My aim was poor, and I hit their sublight engines, causing a spin out of control and a crash. Your three quarries are in my care, all alive and more or less undamaged. The Jedi Master is frozen in carbonite, thanks to a friend of mine in Bastion, and the other two are restrained and ready for you to take custody of them. I am on my way back to your hideout now.”

Jaina breathed a sigh of relief. She was going to get her prey alive and intact. “In that case,” she hissed, “you will be paid in full upon your return. And forgive my earlier anger. My condolences about your messenger, by the way.”

“Thank you.” If Fett was surprised to hear that Jaina had killed the messenger, it didn’t show. “I will be there within two standard days. Fett out.” He cut the transmission.

Jaina sank back in her chair, relieved, and called a servant droid.

“Dispose of the mess in the interrogation chamber, and prepare it for new victims.”

* * *

Alix woke up in a dark room somewhere that she was not familiar with. She stared curiously at the ceiling, not remembering how she had gotten there…

…then the details of the crash came back…

She sat up suddenly, causing a wave of dizziness. She remembered the mysterious pursuer that her grandfather thought was Boba Fett, and the firefight, and being shot down…

So now she was somewhere she couldn’t identify, in a room lined with statues of the Yuuzhan Vong gods…

Alix jumped back in pure terror, examining the statues. They were all frightening and misshapen, just like the Yuuzhan Vong themselves. Every aspect of the statues hinted at the dark and bloodthirsty culture of their creators. Alix shivered and wondered who had captured her…

“It’s very intimidating, isn't it.” A soft male voice came from the doorway. Alix gasped in pure terror as she saw who waited there- a Yuuzhan Vong warrior, in full armor…

“I’m not a warrior,” he said. “Well, not entirely. I am Jacen Solo, your mother’s twin, though lost at Myrkr. I was captured and shaped, and I was a warrior and Supreme Commander until a fateful battle with your evil mother. Now she’s using everything in her arsenal and a few things she shouldn’t have, just to scare you and make you into a Sith as well.”

“I might have guessed as much.” Warily, Alix moved away from the statues. She felt a bond with this man who claimed to be her uncle.

Silently, she prayed that this time her trust would not be betrayed.

“What do you want?” she asked.

Jacen sat down on the floor, obviously troubled. “I need to get you out of here,” he began. “You know what kind of person your mother is- she was mentally troubled enough before she fell into the Dark Side, from what I’ve heard. If you stay here, you are facing far worse than just her anger. She will do everything in her power to try to turn you, and from what I’ve seen of her so far, that power is considerable. She is a master of using your emotions against you and spinning hopeless-looking traps. You need to be very careful; she has no mercy or compassion for anyone. You’re not the only one trapped here, but it’s getting very difficult to find everyone and stage one large escape. If you can find out what your mother is doing, that would save us a lot of time and trouble. Is there any way you can do that?”

Alix reflectively bit her nails and thought for a moment. “Mom doesn’t really trust anyone, but she sometimes lets things slip in conversation. And don’t Sith often brag about things to people that they plan to kill, and when those people survive, then plans are foiled?”

“You have a point there. Jaina has certainly mentioned that she’s going to destroy the Yuuzhan Vong species totally and rule the galaxy in their stead.”

“Then that means that she probably doesn’t expect any of us to live to tell the tale of this.”

Jacen felt a shiver go down his spine. “I just realised that myself.”

Alix realised something else. “But she can’t just kill us in cold blood and let everyone know we are dead. Doing that would make us martyrs for both the Yuuzhan Vong and the Alliance, and that’ll galvanize them against her and the Sith. And that would make her rather outnumbered. So she’s not going to kill us, probably. Making us into Sith would be much more demoralizing to the Alliance, and it would make the Yuuzhan Vong look like fools for making a human into a Supreme Commander only to see him fall to the infidels.”

“I like the way your mind works.” Jacen was impressed with this clever girl. “You’re as smart as Jaina. At least you put your mind to good use and don’t try to terrorize the galaxy.”

Alix giggled. “I don’t want to rule the galaxy. All I want is a reasonably normal childhood.”

Jacen laughed at that. “In this family, there is no such thing as a normal childhood.”

“Yeah, so I noticed.”

“On a darker note, Alix, what do you know about Jaina and her relationship with Vergere and Lumiya?”

“Lumiya?” Alix was confused.

“Lumiya. The Sith woman who was Jaina’s primary teacher.”

“Wait a minute.” Alix remembered something Luke had said. “Do you mean Shira Brie? They’re the same person, Luke said.”

Jacen shrugged. “Okay, whatever you want to call her. I’ve only heard of her as Lumiya.”

Alix thought for a moment. She had never really known much about the feathery alien with a weird outlook on life or the strange Sith woman. But Lumiya had always been the more interesting and threatening of the two… “She was Mom’s teacher for a long time. I think she was the one who really pulled Mom over into the Dark Side. But I don’t know what Vergere had to do with it, since I really don’t know her.”

“How much do you really know about your mother?” Jacen asked. It was obvious that Jaina had managed to have a life that neither her parents nor her daughter knew anything about.

“Not that much,” Alix had to admit. “She’s never been much of a mother to me. She comes and goes, here and there, and she never really cares much about me or what I’m doing. She’s mostly left me to Grandma and Grandpa’s care, and when she does show up, she’s always mean.” She shivered, remembering everything Jaina had done. “She always tells me that she wishes I didn’t exist and I’m a cruel reminder of my father. I don’t even know who he is! And then she says I’m an inconvenience, and we get in a fight… and sometimes she gets really mad, and once or twice she threatened to kill me. But I always dismissed that as just being something said lightly in the heat of anger. And then when she tried to kill me, I was so scared ‘cause I didn’t know what to do! But Mom really scares me and she’s tried to hurt me. I don’t know what’s wrong with her.”

Jacen shook his head. Jaina was even darker than he had feared her to be. “She has been a Sith for longer than I suspected, if she’s been acting like this for your whole life.”

“I've never really thought that she was on the Dark Side. I always just believed what everyone else did, that Mom was crazy and she’d gone mad from grief and just never recovered.”

“That was a pretty good guess, but now with this…” Jacen looked overwhelmed. “I don’t know where to begin or even if Jaina can come back to the light anymore. She was right- everything is relative. Morality, viewpoint, ethics, even sanity. It’s hard to debate with someone whose mind works on such a different plane, and I don’t know when she is right or wrong. I know how I would judge her based on my viewpoint and ethics, but I don’t know if that’s something that the rest of the universe shares. It’s really hard to think of Jaina objectively enough to judge her, since she is my twin and we share such a close bond. You seem more objective about her.”

“I don’t hang around her that much, and she’s never been much of a mother to me.”

“So you're saying she means nothing to you.”

“Almost nothing.” Alix sighed wistfully. “There are lots of times when I wish she could have been a mother more and we could have gotten to know each other. When people tell me what she was like as a child, I think that I would have liked her a lot. She sounds like me, and I think we would have been good friends. And now…she just scares me. It’s not right.”

Jacen nodded. “Alix, you are wise beyond your years. Are you willing to help me try to bring your mother back to the light? I know we probably aren't the best people to do it- a half-Yuuzhan Vong ex-Jedi, and a girl who’s been fighting the Dark Side and a dark reputation for her whole life. But I think there’s a way to help your mother, but I can’t do it alone.”

Alix’s eyes sparkled. “I know what you mean! I think we could do it. Her twin and her daughter- if we can’t succeed, I don’t think anyone can. I’ll help you, of course. We can keep each other sane and focused on this mission while she tries to pull us down. I’m not going to fall, and I know you won’t either. But I’m going to do everything in my power to help Mom, because I love her. I love what she could have been, and I want to help her find that.”

Jacen felt like a Jedi again for the first time in ten years. Now he knew why he had survived the battle in the arena.

It was all for Jaina. Everything he did from this point on was for his sister. To save her and bring her back to the family and life she had left behind.

Even if it was the last thing he ever did.

Y'know, I feel better already...

Well, at least they have less chance of falling to the darkside if they're both together. Are they going to give up on Luke and Han? I suppose that it would be pretty much impossible to rescue everyone, though, especially if Luke's in carbonite. I wonder what the rather argumentative Jedi Order is going to do without it's leader...that hasn't worked too well in the past!

Irish: *wipes syrup off of keyboard* Keep praying. You might get your wish... And see, I am still posting...
Jaina: We could sit back and laugh at the Jedi Order. And we shall see how they rescue themselves...
Jade_eyes: Alix is just generally fun to write. I think I'd like a kid like her around. We shall see how risky that plan really is... devil
smash128: I rather hope it does too. No guarantees.

And another update from being online when I shouldn't be. I think I've given up sleep.

Han awoke to see a familiar face watching him. He sat up instantly- too fast, actually- to greet her-

“Leia, you’re alive and safe! How did you get here?”

Leia raced over to Han. “This is Jaina’s lair. I have no idea where it is, but it’s her secret Sithly hideaway. And she has me here- somehow she can block me and Jacen from the Force. I don’t know how she does it, but she can. Han, she’s a Sith beyond my comprehension! I don’t see what happened…”

“Hold on, sweetheart.” Han was confused. “I think I’m hearing things. Did you say Jacen was here?”

Leia nodded. “He was captured on Myrkr and the Yuuzhan Vong shaped him. He was a Supreme Commander for them, and then lost a battle to Jaina and was captured. He’s been looking for a way to defeat her here, and she’s not too pleased with it. Apparently she thinks she can take down the Yuuzhan Vong single-handedly, and then destroy the Alliance.”

“She wishes,” Han muttered. “This kid’s been having delusions of grandeur for a little too long. It’s time someone did something about her.”

“It’s not like I’m just sitting here on vacation. I’m trying to get out and find a way to fight Jaina.”

“Does she even have a plan for how she’s going to conquer the galaxy?”

Leia sighed. “I’ve certainly heard rumours. I really don’t know for sure, but there are definitely rumours that Jaina has other Sith under her control or that she has an army hidden somewhere. Since all of these are secondhand or older, I’m not sure I believe them.”

“But what if they are true?”

“I don’t even want to imagine that.”

* * *

Jaina slipped into the room that held various Sith artefacts. She was rather impressed by Lumiya’s collection- all the twisted remains of alchemical monsters, strange weaponry, several Holocrons… and the newest treasure, Jaina’s addition…
The carbonite plate that held the body of Luke Skywalker.

She was still gloating, knowing that the galaxy would remember her for, if nothing else, capturing and eventually killing the great and vaunted Jedi Master. His being here would make her into a target, and would do nothing for her plans. No, it was better if she just kept Luke here, and destroyed him later when everything was more in her favour.

Jaina picked up a small piece of crystal from the floor. It looked like a lightsaber crystal, but was softer and sapphire-blue. Jaina was reminded of Jacen’s lightsaber, which was the same color as this crystal.
Had someone been in her secret storage room without her knowledge or permission?

Jaina pushed the thought out of her mind and picked up one of the old Sith Holocrons. It was time that she assembled the army that lay waiting for her.

After all, it was only a matter of time before Jaina was the ruler of the entire galaxy.

After this begins Part Four, the last and most dramatic. Tissues are available in the first post.

Jaina really shouldn't ignore things like somebody possibly being in her secret hiding place. And, out of curiousity, don't you need special equipment to de-carbonite someone? That could make it a lot harder to get Luke out of his prison.

I loved Jaina's "secret Sithly hideaway" - where can I get one?

Wow Jaina has look in carbonite, that doesn't bode well for the good guys huh? Hopefully he'll get out of there soon. I think Jacen should kick Jaina's sithly butt, but thats my hopeful opinion. Great stuff, can't wait for the next one.

smash128: The good guys need to get their act together soon. There may still be hope...
Jade_eyes: Yup, tissue alert... it's coming soon. Maybe not this next post, but soon.
Jaina: Hmm... if I remember, all you need to get decarbonited is for someone to hit the thaw switch... You can buy secret Sithly hideaways on eBay, starting at $49.99. Or if not, the nearest real estate office...

And here begins Part 4, the last part of this tale and the most dramatic. Or so my candor thinks.

The army assembled in the shadow of a massive fallen statue, silent and sure. Ranks of troops that looked to be from the Clone Wars. Massive metal monsters of no known make. Beasts of Sith alchemy. Clueless-looking foot soldiers, resembling the reptoid Yuuzhan Vong slave-soldiers. Battle droids.

Everything that was needed to win a war against the Yuuzhan Vong.

A council of Sith was waiting at the front, ready to greet their newest member. They watched this new Darth Lyssa warily as she surveyed the army, an evil light glowing in her ghastly red eyes.

She turned to them. “Is my army ready?”

One of them responded, “It is as you wish, My Lady. All has been done as you commanded.”

Lyssa nodded her approval. “We deploy tomorrow to Yuuzhan'tar.”

“So fast and soon? To the capital world itself?”

She rounded on the doubter. “Do not question me, insolent one. I have my plans and no one will interfere now.”

Or ever again, she silently finished.

The army loaded onto the transports, preparing for the journey to Yuuzhan'tar. It was a long way through wild regions of hyperspace, since the Perlemian Trade Route was long severed. Lyssa had personally overseen the mapping of the hyperspace trails, making sure that they were far away from all normal routes. There would be no chance of followers.

There would be no chance of the Yuuzhan Vong finding them.

Massive Sith transports, loaded and ready, took off from the surface of Korriban. Lyssa followed them in her private shuttle, and settled into meditation as the journey began. It was a long way through hyperspace, and Lyssa would need to be perfectly ready to take over and direct the battle once it began. The Yuuzhan Vong were ruthless, and would be enraged to see machines used in battle against them. Especially machines that resembled the Yuuzhan Vong and had been designed for the sole purpose of killing scarheads.

Lyssa watched everything from her mediation. She saw so many visions of a possible future; both victory and defeat were present. One tiny move could determine the course of an entire war, she knew. She was determined to make all of the right ones. There was no room for error here. The fate of the galaxy hinged upon her making the right choices.

It was so clear now: the scarheads would be helpless if Lyssa struck at just the right time. They were not capable of dealing with a truly massive head-on attack from an equal enemy.

It was so perfect, Lyssa thought. It was almost a pity that they wouldn’t know what had hit them.

The ships came out of hyperspace and immediately engaged cloaking shields. If they were detected, it would be the end for the Sith forces. If they succeeded…

This would go down in legend.

Lyssa arose from meditation and made her way to the cockpit of her shuttle. She had to be right there, right in front and right in the middle of the action. Otherwise, the battle meditation would be much less effective. And it was essential that she could see and direct the whole battle. On their own, the Sith forces could not do anything. They were a bunch of bumbling fools. With the guidance of a Sith Lady who knew exactly what she was doing… they were unstoppable.

The first indication that something was wrong was when a few Yuuzhan Vong were found dead, cut apart by what looked like lightsabers. Immediately, the commanders took note of this, surprised. There were no Jedi on Yuuzhan'tar anymore, now that

Jacen Solo was gone. What was going on?

And then there were the other mysterious deaths. All the same, as the reports came in to the master shapers. All dead by some unknown thing- a monster, a few survivors said. Monsters of no Yuuzhan Vong make. Something foreign was on Yuuzhan'tar, the Yuuzhan Vong realised.

Something malicious that was here to destroy them.

Lyssa felt that her troops were all in place- ground and space, ready for the attack. With one word, she started the campaign of a lifetime:

“Begin.”

A Yuuzhan Vong shuttle, leaving Yuuzhan'tar’s atmosphere, suddenly blew up. There was no apparent reason. It just exploded, as though some invisible bomb had hit it and made it explode. Over several hours, every other ship trying to leave orbit reported the same thing. Explosion from no known cause.

Planetside, the Yuuzhan Vong high command could find only one cause for this. The gossip and rumours spread.

“It’s the infidels. They’re here for some kind of revenge. We must attack them before they can finish us off.”

Just as this announcement was made, a legion of Sith troops stormed the center of Yuuzhan'tar, right where the Supreme Overlord’s worldship and all of the command buildings were.

Lyssa could see all aspects of this battle from her meditation aboard her shuttle. Everything was so clear. All of her troops were doing so well- they had taken minimal losses while exacting a high toll of scarheads. Any building they touched was destroyed instantly by a combination of battle droids, monstrous Sithspawn, and determined troops. The Yuuzhan Vong military was clearly overloaded, and Lyssa could sense how they were blaming this on the infidels.

Of course, this meant that Lyssa’s plan was working just as she had hoped it would. Once the scarheads were smashed by this attack, they would put all of their forces in the rest of the galaxy to destroy the Alliance. Both sides would wipe out each other, and Lyssa would just clean up the mess and rule the galaxy.

So simple that it was foolproof.

Another building fell to the Sith armies. Now, nothing stood between the massive horde and the Well of the World Brain.

Absolutely nothing…

…except a massive army of determined Yuuzhan Vong.

All of the Sith knew that Yuuzhan Vong were often determined to the point of being suicidal, and they saw great honor in dying for their species and whatever cause was being championed now.

This would be a battle to the death, and the Sith armies were determined to come out alive.

The Well of the World Brain was obviously the target. If that fell, and the World Brain was destroyed, then that would go a long way against the Yuuzhan Vong. They had no dhuryams left, and if this one died, so would the shaping of their world.

The battle droids charged first. In appearance, they looked like relics of the Clone Wars, but in power, they were obviously brand-new and made specifically to counter Yuuzhan Vong. A line of YVH battle droids followed, and the two armies collided…

It was obvious that the Sith were better prepared this time. They effortlessly destroyed row after row of Chazrach reptoids and Yuuzhan Vong warriors, while taking minimal losses.

The remnants of Yuuzhan Vong high command instantly realised that the inexorable Sith forces were heading toward the Well of the World Brain.

But there was no way to get reinforcements across a burning landscape covered in rubble, with Sith monsters hidden in the remnants, waiting for any unwary Yuuzhan Vong to come by…

High above, in orbit, Lyssa smiled. The Yuuzhan Vong were being routed, and were clueless as to how to fight an enemy like the Sith.

Lyssa gave another order that would assure the destruction of the World Brain.

“Release the disguised battle droids.”

A set of wheel-like machines raced through the Yuuzhan Vong ranks, their outer laser cannons keeping any Yuuzhan Vong warriors at bay. They were headed straight for the yorik coral that housed the World Brain and the massive set of thorns around it, prepared to destroy this to make room for the rest of the army.

They unrolled, revealing a droid built like a multi-headed Sith hydra, spewing fire from each head. The thorns shrivelled and died under the barrage of laser fire, split apart by the droids.

Under the thorns, the yorik coral ‘skull’ began to crack.

Another set of Sith monsters made their way through the shattered landscape, towards the Well of the World Brain. They were the backup for the battle droids, and were specially engineered to be able to crack the yorik coral and destroy the dhuryam within.

The last of the thorns fell away, withered and smoking from the heat. Under them, the yorik coral was pitted from the onslaught, but rapidly healing. The droids now turned their fire onto the coral walls, determined to destroy this monster within.

Not so far away, another large legion of Sith troops began their march to Supreme Overlord Shimrra’s worldship.

Lyssa looked down at Yuuzhan'tar beneath her. It was burning in many places now and would require massive reworking before it was ready for human- or any species- habitation. But all was proceeding as she had planned. She had just received word from her spies on Mon Calamari that Yuuzhan Vong troops had turned their full fury onto the Alliance, in retribution for this supposed attack.

And they were still so oblivious to the enemy that hid in orbit, cloaked and deadly…

Another Yuuzhan Vong shuttle was shot down. Lyssa was furious that she still could not feel the Yuuzhan Vong in the Force, even though she was a Sith Lady with more power than most Force-users could imagine. Those scarheads were still a blank, and just in one moment of fury at this, Lyssa ordered the shuttle shot down.

She was rather satisfied to see the shuttle explode neatly.

The yorik coral exploded under the laser fire, revealing the dhuryam inside. It was visibly frightened, unable to understand what would attack it so violently and determinedly. The droids paused and then shut down, returning to the wheel shape that was so efficient for transportation. The massive hydra-like monsters moved closer, morbidly curious. This thing in the middle of the Well…it looked like nothing important.

But they could sense in their primitive brains that it was their mission to destroy this thing before it attacked them.

The five hydras moved in, biting the soft and squishy dhuryam. Their venom and bites took over fast…

The dhuryam thrashed wildly in its death throes. After an eternity of seconds, it gave one final twist and lay still.

The World Brain was dead.

More to come in a few days. I think.

Wow. Always beware of foolproof plans, though, Jaina. There's ALWAYS some little thing that will go wrong. But that campaign against the YV at Coruscant was awesome - she certainly has a nice army. But if her plan comes true, what kind of galaxy will she have left to rule? And she better hope that the 'thaw' button doesn't accidentally get hit...

Jade_eyes: I had to use the droids. I just couldn't resist... Foolproof, you claim? We shall see.
Jaina: Nothing is foolproof because fools are so ingenious. The campaign isn't done yet... and mind the thaw button.

Regular updates have resumed: Tuesday and Thursday. This story should be done posting by the time NaNo2008 rolls around and I write another long fic to keep all of you occupied.

From high orbit, Lyssa let out a triumphant laugh. She could sense the death throes of the World Brain and its final expiration. Now, the Yuuzhan Vong would no longer be able to use the environment as a weapon against the Sith, and their eventual destruction was assured.

Lyssa smiled to think how easy it would be now to just destroy the Supreme Overlord’s worldship, and eventually hunt down and kill him. It was just like shooting mynocks in a cage…

The Sith monsters marched on towards the worldship. With the death of the World Brain, Yuuzhan'tar was helpless and unable to resist the Sith armies. However, the worldship itself still had weapons, and there would be an army of warriors waiting for the Sith forces. By now, all of the planet knew that the Sith were here and here to destroy the Yuuzhan Vong.

The first prediction was correct. There was a phalanx of warriors waiting at the primary entrance, amphistaffs and thud bugs at the ready. The wheel-droids unfolded and began firing, taking down the warriors before any organic being had to be endangered. Following this, the wheel-droids directed their fire to the worldship itself, doing damage to the exterior as a legion of YVH and Sith soldiers entered in a hunt for the Supreme Overlord himself. Their instruction were clear: capture the Supreme Overlord, but do no damage to him.

He was for Darth Lyssa to destroy.

Lyssa’s shuttle dove through Yuuzhan'tar’s atmosphere, heading straight for the worldship. She was determined to find and kill the Supreme Overlord by herself, and use his death to demoralize the Yuuzhan Vong species.

She piloted the ship herself, using all of her skills and Force ability to keep away from the Yuuzhan Vong ships that still haunted the atmosphere. It was essential that she get to the surface.

She had a vow of vengeance to complete.

For a moment, Lyssa reflected on the vow that Jaina had left when she became Lyssa. The vow to destroy the Yuuzhan Vong species in retribution for the death of Anakin Solo. Lyssa now wanted to keep this vow just to spite the Yuuzhan Vong and cement her rule across the galaxy, and killing the Supreme Overlord was the best way to do it.

The shuttle landed gently in the plaza just in front of the worldship. Lyssa glanced out over the landscape, surveying the devastation. Her armies had gutted and torn down many buildings, and the remains of the Yuuzhan Vong army was strewn over the ground. Total devastation was the best word to describe all of this.

Lyssa smiled, proud to see how well her army had followed her directions.

She collected the lightsaber and lightwhip, ready to face the Supreme Overlord.

Massive groups of battle droids systematically took apart the worldship- tearing apart decks, ripping up walls, and making the ship collapse into the ground. Another legion destroyed the engines, making the ship no longer spaceworthy. A final group somehow found their way to the top, and sealed the breakaway throne room into the rest of the ship.

Supreme Overlord Shimrra was trapped aboard his own palace. All he could do was wait for the Sith forces to come.

The Sith army stormed the remainder of the worldship, destroying everything they could get their hands on. Finally, they stood face to face with the infamous Supreme Overlord Shimrra.

He stood there, taller than any other Yuuzhan Vong, his eyes glowing with the rainbow mqaaq’it implants. His amphistaff stood ready in his hands, able to destroy any opponent. There was nothing the droids could do anymore. They just surrounded Shimrra, waiting.

They didn’t have to wait long.

Darth Lyssa finally made her way up to the throne room, pushing droids and wreckage out of the way with the Force. She could feel her mounting anticipation as the battle drew nearer- ready for anything to happen, ready to win… or die trying.

She pushed through the droids and finally came face to face with Shimrra.

The battle began.

Yes, the revenge of the evil cliffies. Wait until Thursday to find out what happens.
Please let me know if you still want to be PM'ed when I update!
