Don't worry, it'll be his fault that he and Miri hadn't set a date yet. It's AAAALLLWAAAAYS the guy's fault. I learned that after thirty minutes of dating experience and the wife never lets me forget it.
The good news is I got my sunglasses and bowler. Just waiting on the hair, now. ...where'd I put that rogaine...?

Longer posts? Don't know if Kavin can swing that. He's busy doing Jedi stuff... and getting ready for his impending nuptuals... and family things.

Well, Miri and I set the date... Telona 15, six months from now. That's the good news.
The bad news is both our families are pressuring us to have the wedding in the traditional style... her parent's want it the Achillean tradition, and of course my grandparents want the Corellian tradition. To tell you the truth, I don't care which tradition we go by, as long as we're married and I can make Miri happy! Miri, on the other hand, is upset. She doesn't want to estrange my family, but she prefers the Achillean wedding.
Perhaps we can combine the two and start a new tradition.

I'm glad to see wedding plans are underway
Perhaps we can combine the two and start a new tradition.

YAY! A date! Such annoying stigma behind wedding dates. Of course, I got married on Sept. 11, so maybe I made my own stigma. Still, the date is a minor thing compared to customs--I mean, thankfully my wife didn't want a skyclad service...

Well, as a Jedi, he is well versed in the art of negotiating... hopefully he won't have to use aggressive negotiations... that never bodes well for marriages.

New traditions can be just as good as the old ones... and sometimes people find out the 'new' traditions were there before the old ones, but were forgotten (though this may not apply to Kavin and Miri's marriage ).
