	title: Invincible Author:jacensolofangirl2007 timeframe: right after the events of Kashyyyk characters: Darth Caedus, Jacen solo and others Genre: light and darkness summary: Ceadus has tricked everyone into thinking that he's jacen solo, but trouble occurs when the real Jacen solo returns notes: the events in Betrayal did not happen. Trailer for Invincible! Opens with the Starwars theme song Announcer (voiceover) it is 15 years after the end of the Yuuzhan Vong war and Caedus’s and Lumyia master plan is starting to come to a close as they have almost succeeded in their taking over the galaxy. It seems nothing can stop them. Darth Caedus is smiling in victory out the view port of his Star destroyer, looking out at the damage he just inflicted on the wookie home world Kashyyyk. Announcer (voiceover) But it might seem that Caedus has finally made a mistake when his plan of revenge on the wookies and Jedi backfires on him. And he is sent back to Coruscant with a broken fleet and enraged commanders. Shows Caedus in a meeting with the senate and everyone in an uproar. Announcer (voiceover) But even as this darkness has fallen upon the galaxy, one hope of light remains as the real Jacen Solo returns from his long and empowering force journey at last…. Shows Jacen Solo jumping into an x-wing and waving goodbye to all his new friends, then takes off into space and enters hyperspace. Announcer (voiceover) …only to return to a galaxy he no longer remembers. [Caedus is shown giving a speech to the senate, than Shows Jacen on some planet watching a holo of it, then yelling out in disbelief, “No way”. /i]Music now changes to more haunting type of sound. [i]Jaina is now shown in a room talking with the Jedi masters. Luke Skywalker (voiceover) “I would like you to deliver this to a friend of mine in the Outer Rim”. He says while handing her something. Scene changes back to Coruscant and shows Caedus walking up the ramp of his Star Destroyer with an army of teenagers following in his wake. He has a wicked smile on his face with his cape billowing behind him. Jacen solo (voiceover) “Who is he?” Jacen asks a crowd of people as he runs in panic when a blaster is suddenly fired behind him. Caedus (voiceover) “Endor” [He balls his hands in fists and smiles in victory and revenge. /i]Music changes to Duel of the Fates. [i]Scene changes to an enraged Jaina Solo throwing her lightsaber at Jacen. Sending attack after attack at him, then brings a tall building come crashing down on them. Smoke and fire is everywhere as the ‘Anakin Solo’ fires down on the planet of Endor as thousands of Yuuzhan Vong warriors jump to the surface and meet hundreds of Jedi in a horrible battle. Caedus is in a furious battle with Luke Skywalker with Han, Leia, Ben and a few other Jedi in the same room fighting Vong with Lightsabers and amphistaff’s hissing and flying at each other. Two small ships blast lasers at each other as they soar through space and Jaina’s finger hovers over the trigger. As the lightsabers twirl between them, Luke suddenly misses a beat and Caedus brings his lightsaber down for the finishing blow. Just as Jacen enters the scene…….. Caedus and Jacen’s lightsaber crash heavily against each others with the art of true masters Jacen (voiceover) “Who are you?” Caedus just smiles wickedly back at him and throws his lightsaber at him again. Announcer (voiceover) As the the fate of the galaxy hinges upon the outcome ….. Caedus uses the force to throw trees, Jacen raises his hands and uses the force to repel them Announcer (voiceover) of this deadly battle…… As Jacen sends one of the big trees back at Caedus, he jumps on it and rides it back towards him. Announcer (voiceover) It is the Ultumite battle between Light and Darkness……. Caedus lets all is anger and darkness take over as his body burns darker than space with deadly heat flying off him and hitting Jacen. Announcer (voiceover) and whoever wins…….. Jacen falls back and collapses on the ground. Announcer (voiceover) Truly will be Invincible! As the screen go’s black these words scrolls across the screen Starwars: Invincible Written and directed by Jacensolofangirl2007! Ends with Jacen rising off the ground glowing with all the power of the light side of the force burning off him, With a crowd of Jedi watching in shock and Han huffing (voiceover) “oh great now there’s two of them”. .......................................................................................................................................................... Part 1 Coruscant It was raining hard that night as Darth Caedus walked down the streets of Coruscant. The rain was just another disgrace to him, as if the force itself was disappointed in him as well. Some aliens glared at him while some humans smiled at him, some were against him while others were with him. Not that he cared too much, soon they would all see, they would see what real justice and peace would come if everyone listened obeyed the law. Soon they would all see what a true government could accomplish if it was ruled by one who knew everything and was powerful enough to keep the galaxy in check, one that people feared and would never again even think about apposing . For they would look upon the wookie world and know the consequences of stepping out of line. The galaxy would finally be at peace and everyone would look upon him and never doubt again. This was what made Caedus smile at night knowing that though no one really understood right now ,they would soon and once again he would be the hero, the one to save the galaxy and this time keep it that way. ………………………………….. Omparine (unknown world in the outer rim) The cries of the wookies and there planet could be heard far and wide to anyone who was force sensitive. So to someone who was a master at seeing and hearing everything in the force, and had spent the last 15 years studying the force with many different kinds of force users came as an even bigger blow to Jacen Solo. Jacen had been in the middle of deep mediation, so when it had hit him, he had been so deep in the force that he screamed and instantly dropped out of his mediation stance dropping him on the ground. The force came onto him like burning fiery waves filled with pain, feeling of betrayal and deep sadness filled with heartbrokenness. The waves came again and again cutting Jacen to pieces emotionally. He began instantly wondering how something like this could happen, and where was this happening? His thoughts went immediately to his sister, was she okay? Was she near where this happened? He knew she wasn’t dead, he would have felt it if she did. Or at least he thought he would….but there had been so many voice’s screaming all at once that he might have missed it…and what about Mom and Dad were they okay? What had happened? Jacen felt so helpless, his body was still feeling the shock waves of all the voices and he was worried to death about what might have caused this. He didn’t think it was the Yuuzhan Vong again, but than what was it……..? Jacen was on his feet in a second and starting running as fast as the force would let him towards the village, he knew that they must have felt it to, and maybe they had a better understanding of what just happened. ……………………………………… As Jacen ran into the village he was surprised to see and feel that everyone pretty much looked and felt the same, no one was acting like they had just felt something other out of the ordinary, so he just ran on to the temple were the masters were. As he reached it Jacen used the force to calm himself down some, he knew that some of the people were looking at him in worry, he wasn’t doing a very good job of keeping his emotions’ in check. He looked up at the temple again and slowly walked up the long stairs leading to the big engraved doors, this was a truly sacred place and those who entered had to do so respectively. When he entered he was immediately greeted by one of the masters, and one Jacen knew quite well, Master Ty Ruum. Master Ty Ruum was one of the oldest and wisest of the order here and Jacen had learned a great deal from this man, he was dressed in a tan animal skin outfit with his long gray beard covering his entire chest. “Hello there Jacen” Master Ty Ruum said gently in his grandfather voice. Jacen smiled up at him, and bowed in respect “Hello Master Ty Ruum”. “So what’s troubled you today?” He said knowly; Jacen was so open to the force all the time that it usually didn’t take much for him to know what he was feeling. Jacen obviously didn’t know he was so open because Master Ty Ruum felt a little shock come off him when he had asked that so bluntly. “Um…did you by chance feel something strange today?” Jacen asked, he was a little unsure of himself about this now because as far as he could tell it didn’t look like anyone else had felt what he had earlier, and it didn’t make any since to him how they could have missed it. Master Ty Ruum raised an eyebrow at him “strange how?” “it felt like a millions of voice’s all screaming at once, filled with pain and sadness with oddly a mix of feelings of betrayal as well….” Jacen said recalling the horrors of it again. Master Ty Ruum looked thoughtful “ well I and some Masters felt something like that but not as strongly as you seem to have, to tell you the truth we didn’t really know what it was, it didn’t seem like something big enough really to worry about” . Jacen didn’t know what to think of what the Master had just told him and he frowned, “but you had to have, it was huge!” Jacen was more than a little confused now. Was the force trying to tell him something personally? Master Ty Rumm frowned as well he had no idea what Jacen was talking about, but he thought he might have an idea “Maybe this is something connected to you Jacen…..it might be something someone connected to you who is feeling this and your feeling his or her pain?” he suggested Jacen shook his head “I don’t think so..” he closed his eyes looked into the force and tried to gather something from it. “Than maybe this has something to do with you personally Jacen? Maybe something from your part of the galaxy has happened and the force is trying to tell you something?” Master Ty Rumm wasn’t sure exactly want he was saying but it had felt like it was something he had to say. Jacen opened his eyes and Master Ty Rumm saw a strange look in his eyes and he thought he almost saw tears there. “Jacen are you okay?” Jacen blinked a few times and his eyes went normal “I’m fine; it’s just something you said”. He said thinking back about his earlier thoughts about Jaina and his family and wondered if that was what the force was telling him. Master Ty Ruum looked at him in worry again as he saw that look in his eyes come up again “Jacen what going on?’ Jacen looked back up at him again “I think it’s telling me it’s time to go home, something’s happened there and I think I’m connected to it somehow” he was getting some many weird signals from the force again, and he wasn’t sure what he should think, but he was sure that it was time he went home. ……………………………….. 	Part 2 It was early the next morning and Caedus was back in his office wondering how he was going to get out of this one, Cha Niathal had pretty much told him to quit and with most of the fleet he had taken with him destroyed with no clear victory to excuse it, he knew he was going to be in some very hot water for a while. But that was okay because he was pretty confident that while other people wouldn’t see it as a victory they were definitely a little fearful of him now, and that was a victory in itself. Because now he was pretty sure that it would take a lot for any planet to host Jedi or hold back anymore fleets from him out of fear of becoming what Kashyyyk had brought upon itself. Hopefully this was just one step closer to a better more obedient galaxy and if this wasn’t enough than Caedus would be more than ready to teach them. As he started looking though his data pad there was a knock at his door, “Come in” he called, as the young bounty hunter walked in. The young man walked in, his posture indicating fearlessness and giving off a strong presence, Caedus smiled at him, most people when they saw Caedus would be a little fearful and he liked that but for this mission he was glad to be hiring someone with who was not afraid of him or pretty much anything for that matter, this young man would be perfect the job Caedus had in mind. Yall wasn’t like most humans, nope not at all because while most people thought he was a normal human being he was actually a Yuuzhan Yong in disguise. Caedus had gone to great lengths to get a Yuuzhan Yong warrior, as they were very hard to find since there’re disguise’s worked so well. Most people in the galaxy thought that all the Yuuzhan Yong were far away on their new planet but smarter people like Caedus knew that although most of their specie’s had accepted the new truth that Zonama Sekot had brought them, that there were of course some who hadn’t chose to give up their old ways and had stayed here in this part of the galaxy making very good warriors in disguise. Yall stood in front of his desk with his body standing in way that looked like he planned on attacking at any moment. Caedus just looked at him amused “hello there Agent Yall”. Yall looked at him in almost hate at being called that but he kept in check and simply nodded at him awaiting his orders. Caedus raised his eyebrows at him and handed him a data chip, Yall looked at it quickly almost ready to attack the thing but after having spent enough time in this galaxy he knew better and took the chip and nodded once more and headed back out the door to start his new mission. Caedus smiled once again as Yall left and thought about the very rude awakening that the Jedi were about to get. Yes this was very amusing indeed. …………………………….. Jacen shifted in his seat, after having spent nearly 3 days in this x-wing he was a little more than uncomfortable. He had spent the entire flight so far mediating and trying to figure this one out, he still couldn’t see what the force was trying to tell him and he was still to far from Jaina to get a strong twin bond though the force, he had managed to reach her somewhat though so he was relieved that she was alive, but what bothered him was that when he had touched her though the force she had pulled away like she had been burnt by a hot iron, and then when he had tried again he wasn’t able to touch her at all. It hurt him, why had she pulled away like that, he hadn’t done anything to her, maybe she was mad at him for being away for so long or maybe she hadn’t known it was him or……Jacen didn’t know what else but it was really bothering him. He could hardly wait to get home and see his family again, he couldn’t wait to tell and show them everything he had learned, he had even found some cool new animals that he had packed with him, Jacen smiled at that, his mom was going to flip at having more animals around. Jacen was about to fall back into his mediation when his Astromech droid suddenly screamed and as he did Jacen watched with alarm as the ship went to normal space “whoa what just happened?” he asked his droid as he started looking over his control board looking for something to tell him what was wrong, this was exactly what he needed Jaina for, she was the space ship wonder not him. His droid beeped something at him and Jacens eyes fell to it and as he read his eyes read the horror Destination denied. Hypercore does not reply. Jacen couldn’t believe his eyes “what!!?? How can this be, we’ve been traveling planet to planet in this ship, this just can’t happen”. He was really not believing this, the ship had been running just fine and the people on Omparine had just worked on it. 	Hmmm, this is a very interesting situation now, isn't it? Who does Jacen run into first, someone who has the patience to hear him out, or someone who would like nothing better than to run him through with their lightsaber? I am very curious to see how Caedus, whoever he is, has fooled everyone into thinking he is Jacen, especially Jaina. I like the idea that Jacen is still into animals, since it is so much of who he has been through the EU up until Star by Star. I miss that old side of Jacen, the one tried to be funny and didn't whine about EVERYTHING. I'll be checking back regularly to see where this goes, do you know what kind of posting schedule you will have, or is it kind of up in the air? 	This is great, I love the contrasts you put into the two characters while maturing Jacen but still keeping his the way we all liked him. A PM list is pretty much just the people you send Private Messages to when you update. Not everyone uses them but they do make it easier for people to know you've updated. More soon please!!! 	Part 3 Yall sat in a dark underground room waiting for the others. Stealthy they entered the room one by one, to anyone who saw them they would simply think of them as some secret teenager club. Little did they know of what these “teenagers” were really up to. As the group sat down Yall let his fingers glide upon the blasphemy technology and much to the crowd’s disgrace he brought up a full size holo of their missions outline. The holo displayed there entry points as he explained pointing to different locations that different teams would be entering. As he did this, all of the warriors sat in rigid postures, that was good, Yall thought, for it had been nearly 15 years since the war had ended but the Yuuzhan Yong had not fallen into the horrible posture of this galaxy. Next he marked out where certain Jedi’s rooms were, for he explained that certain Jedi needed to be taken out before others, the younglings would be last of course and the masters first. Plus he assigned more warriors to different Jedi than others that Darth Ceadus had mentioned would be harder kills. All the Warriors nodded in agreement, Yall looked out over them with a steely gaze, as far as he could tell everyone looked ready to go, for this was going to be very good hunting indeed. ……………………………………….. It was a warm sunny day today, much nicer than that heavy rain storm they had gotten just a couple nights ago. The sun was gleaming off the old buildings they were staying in now that her evil brother had ran them out of both their Jedi temple and the academy on Ossus. They were now in hiding on Endor staying in the ruins of once Imperial housing. Some of the Jedi were walking around getting to know the new place and showing the restless younglings around while giving them a history listen as well, so when Jaina walked by they all said “hi” “Hey everyone” Jaina said sweetly back as she continued on to the where the masters were meeting. Her deep brown hair trailed behind her gently floating in the wind as she walked. She could see Jag and Zekk over by the ships arguing about something, they always were, Jaina just wished that they would get along. As she entered the old building where the masters had appointed as there meeting room she ran into her mother who was just leaving there. “Hey mom” she called even before her mother had spotted her. Leia looked up from her data pad and smiled at her daughter, “hey Jaina, do you know where your father is?” “I think I saw him over by the ships with Jag and Zekk, it looked like they were working on the falcon”. “Ok thank you Jaina, I should have figured he would be doing that, the falcon got pretty burned up at Kashyyyk” her mother said sorrowful. Jaina bit her lip at that, she still couldn’t believe her brother had, had the nerve to do such a thing, what had happened to the Jacen she knew, the one who couldn’t bear to kill another being, who showed mercy at every corner. It just didn’t seem right, how could a person you thought you knew so well change so much. Leia knew what her daughter was thinking and shared in that grief, Jaina had lost both her brothers now and Leia had lost both of her sons, it was heartbreaking. “Well I’ll see you later”, she called as she left for the ship yard. Jaina nodded and made her way into the meeting room to find that everyone was already there. Grand Master Skywalker smiled as she entered “Good morning Jaina”. Most of the other masters smiled as well, “good morning everyone” she replied as she walked to her place in the middle. “We would have liked to discuss this with your team leader but Jag requested we meet with you instead. So on your team’s behalf we would like to know how the search for Alema is going?” Luke asked resting his chin on his knuckles. “Well we have some interesting leads right now, but other than that it’s slow going at the moment. So far Alema has somehow escaped each time, but we’ve learned a great many of her tactics this way, so I’m confident that soon we will get her.” Jaina replied keeping an eye on all the masters. Some of the Masters nodded at this but some of course felt the need to argue, but Luke quickly hushed them. “Very good Jaina, but I do have a request for you though”. Jaina stood at attention wondering what this request would be, “ok” she said simply. Grand Master Skywalker reached into his pocket and pulled out a data chip and gave it to Jaina, “I would like you to deliver this to a friend of mine in the Outer Rim”. Jaina was stunned, “the outer rim?!”She took a look at the chip in her hands, “but what about the Alema mission? I’m a part of the team”. “Well as you just told us, right now you’re only looking into some leads, and I’m sure Jag and Zekk can handle that for now, plus this is a very important mission that I need you to take Jaina”. Jaina blinked a few times but she knew she had to obey Luke, she was sure they had a good reason for having her take it, “what kind of mission?” Luke smiled at her, “There is an old friend of mine who has some very good ties to people we need to get in touch with that will hopefully support the Jedi, what I need you to do is deliver this chip to him and do stealthy, It will be bad for everyone if Jacen finds out about this”. Jaina nodded her understanding, “ok”. “Good, I’ll send the coordinates and details of the mission to your ship”. Luke looked at everyone and got up,” meeting adjourned, everyone back to work.” And with that everyone got up and left, leaving just Master Luke and Jaina in the room. Jaina felt like there was something she wanted to talk to him about but decided not to and just simply smiled and left as well. ……………………………………………… Jag and Zekk were there to see her off of course the next day as she was leaving for the outer rim. “Try not to get in to much trouble Jaina”, Zekk teased her “cause remember I won’t be there to get you out of it this time”. Jag gave Zekk a side look than turned back to Jaina and said “take care of yourself, hopefully when you get back we’ll have all the leads figured out than we can go try to catch Alema again”. Jaina just smiled and nodded at them “have fun” she called back as she boarded her stealth-x. This was going to be a long flight. ……………………………………………………. Jacen had tried everything, but it had been 3 days and he still couldn’t get his ship to enter hyperspace again. He didn’t know what to do, there wasn’t much one could do from the cockpit on an x-wing and his droid couldn’t figure this one out from where he was either. Jacen had tried looking into the force for an answer, but not even that had helped him. Note to self: don’t rely on the force for maintenance help. Jacen didn’t let despair come though, he had went though enough Jedi training to know the consequences of that. But he was pretty alarmed. This was not good at all, and he still couldn’t figure out how this had happened in the first place. He didn’t want to accuse anyone, but someone must have messed with his ship….but who would do something like that? He had tried to reach out in the force to maybe find his mom or sister or uncle or aunt or someone who might hear his call, but it had been to no avail, and he had this distance feeling that they were ignoring him on purpose. What was up with that? He was about to go into mediation one more time just to try again when he felt something……a presence…..a familiar presence…. He frantically reached out in the force to see who it was and as he did his whole body suddenly lit up like a light blurb…..It was her! It was his sister! He was so overjoyed, he couldn’t believe this! How in the galaxy had she found him? I am very curious to see how Caedus, whoever he is, has fooled everyone into thinking he is Jacen, especially Jaina. I like the idea that Jacen is still into animals, since it is so much of who he has been through the EU up until Star by Star. I miss that old side of Jacen, the one tried to be funny and didn't whine about EVERYTHING. I'll be checking back regularly to see where this goes, do you know what kind of posting schedule you will have, or is it kind of up in the air? 	The chances of finding a ship floating dead in the middle of deep space: 99999trillion to 1. Chances for someone named Solo: Never tell me the odds. At least Jacen ran into the worst possible person first. I can't think of anything more terrifying than being stumbled upon by one of the best pilots in the galaxy, who is also extremely pissed off, while I floated dead in space. The question that remains: Is this even the real Jacen Solo, or his he a clone? Jaacen Solo, who thinks he is Jacen Solo, but really isn't, because Jacen Solo is Darth Caedus. Or maybe Caedus is the clone? OK, my head hurts now.
