	Ok, can't sleep so I have time now. First off, the image of Jaina running into the crowd to confront Caedus and then the crowd going silent was very spooky. That level of influence is something that should take a lot of concentration, but Caedus takes it all in stride and starts taunting Jaina while making her look like a Jedi assassin to everyone watching. This is one of those things that makes me love the way you write Caedus: he is very good at being a true villain. It is the same thing that made Palpatine good, he can turn everyone else against his enemies while seeming like the good guy the whole time. I also enjoy the interaction between Jag and Zekk. They act like brothers in a way, constantly getting on each others nerves. They are both united, however, by their love for Jaina and their desire to see Caedus brought down. Let's see if Jag and Zekk's bounty hunting experience pays off in their search for Jacen, I already like what Jag is thinking. Jacen was very smart about what he said to Tahiri the last time he saw her. Gave her just enough to think about without pleading to be set free. It is obviously having the desired efftect since Tahiri is grappling with her feelings. Internal conflict is always great to read, makes the characters more alive, to me anyways. I love writing Jag and Zekk, and you were right on about that brother thing, thats how I think about them too. lol yeah Jag's the smart one I think, and as you'll soon find out that their actually the two voices Tahiri hears behind her sorry but I wasn't sure how to really write a long search, and well I just cut out that part a little. really? 	thanks for all the reviews peoples! I've really enjoyed reading them! .................... Part 34 Han, Leia, Luke, Ben and Kyp were all piled into the Millennium Falcon when the news’s suddenly poured in. While some mouths sagged lower than others, others were too busy cursing to do such a thing. Han was one of those people. And it took a little while before Leia had come back to her senses long enough to shut him up. “Han! Shush up. I’m trying to watch this.” Han looked at her as if she was insane. “You actually want to watch my little girl being humiliated across the entire galaxy?” He asked while keeping one eye on the screen as well in horror. Leia didn’t answer right away as she suddenly flinched as Jaina went tumbling to the ground. And she quietly mused under her breath in worry. Han kept looking between his daughter and his wife wondering who to feel the most sorry and horrified for. But in the end he couldn’t decide and he just stared at the holo unable to move. “Where’s the real Jacen when you need him?” he whispered under his breath. ……………………….. Tahiri gapped at the two approaching men. “Hey there Tahiri!” Zekk welcomed, but despite his warming gesture Tahiri could see straight to the wariness that underlined it. She narrowed her eyes at them. “Zekk, Jagged” she said nodding at them. “What drags you two minions way out here?” she asked humoring them. Jag stopped walking and was taken aback. “Minions?” Tahiri laughed wickedly as she folded her arms across her chest. “You know, the famous minions of Jaina Solo.” Both Jag and Zekk were taken aback at that and they both yelled out in together, “We are not!” then looked at each other in confusion. Tahiri really laughed at that, “you two make such a cute couple”. Zekk’s mouth fell open in loss of words, but Jag didn’t as he ignored her and shouted at Zekk. “She’s just distracting us. Come on!” Zekk quickly shook the disturbing thoughts from his head then followed Jag’s lead. “Where’s Jacen?” He demanded. Tahiri shook her head at them, “you two take the fun out of everything”. She said as she summoned her lightsaber to her hand. “It’s a good thing I’m entertaining enough for all of us then”, she added smiling as she suddenly flipped the switch on her saber which quickly brought it to life. “Ready for some fun?” She asked while twirling her lightsaber in a threatening pattern in front of her. Jag and Zekk looked at each other with worried looks, “Um Tahiri….we were kind of actually hoping for a boring trip over here.” Jag bravely pointed out as he kept his eyes warily on her lightsaber. “Yeah, so you think you could just show us to Jacen?” Zekk spoke up. Tahiri rolled her eyes. “Now what would be the fun in that? Besides I have strict orders to guard Jacen from people like you. So if you want to continue to have a boring day, then I suggest you just go back where you came from.” Zekk sighed and Jag did the same. “You up for some excitement Jag?” Zekk asked sarcastically. Jag shrugged, “If I have no choice”. Tahiri smiled at them sweetly, “you don’t”. Jag shrugged again. “Then as they say in this part of the galaxy; bring it on!” Tahiri laughed again then did as ordered and brought it on as she raced towards them with her lightsaber hissing in anticipation. Zekk’s eyes widened moments before she was upon them as he quickly flipped his own lightsaber on as well, barely stopping her blade just inches from his face. Tahiri glared at him through their locked blades, then twisted her small flexible body around as her lightsaber followed her every movement, sending a dizzy stream of colors. Her hands gripped onto the handle hard as Zekk’s strong huge body fought her hold, but she was too fast for him to ever get too large shadow over her. Zekk twisted and followed her movements as he quickly found himself at a disadvantage as his tall body was awkward to keep in step with her smaller and more flexible body as she spurge around like a Ewok high on caffeine. Tahiri went for a high swipe as she flipped up towards him; bringing her blade around in a fast but lethal blow. Zekk saw it coming and fell backwards as he landed on his hands behind him, then before she could come down with her continued strike, he used his hands to throw himself back into a back flip as he feet kicked Tahiri hard in the chest as he came around. Tahiri screamed out in pain but gritted her teeth together and went after him again, as her angry blade thrashed out harder, this time going for his waist. But instead of his lightsaber stopping her this time, it was a blaster blot. Tahiri kicked Zekk back then looked behind her, and at Jag who was holding a blaster. She rubbed at her burned hand and glared at Jag, then forgetting about Zekk for now she went after jag with her lightsaber swinging. Zekk cast a worried look at Jag but somehow he felt the need to make a joke. “Bout time you did something Jag. I was beginning to think that you weren’t man enough to attack a girl”. Tahiri reflected the blaster shots quickly as she made her way towards her foe. Jag snorted as he walked quickly backwards as he kept shooting. He really needed to find some higher ground. “You’ve got that the wrong way around Zekk; if your man enough, that means you WON’T attack a girl.” Zekk jumped back to his feet and ran after them. “Details, details”, he said back meaningless. Tahiri felt and heard Zekk coming up behind her and as she quickly reflected another blot, she then lunched herself in the air. Zekk gritted his teeth together then followed her movement as he met her in the air. Tahiri twisted and traded a few hits with him before they landed on the ground, then he continued with the momentum and went into a low arch at her. She went with the flow though and sidestepped, sending his blade just glancing off her leg. It hurt, but she ignored the pain as she kicked out at his long awkward legs as he struck and parried with her blade up above. Zekk suddenly felt the intertwine with his legs, but didn’t have enough time to think about it as he then felt the jerk and he went instantly unbalanced. Tahiri went for his weak points immediately, but was stopped as she was suddenly hit from behind. And when she turned she found Jag’s foot pounded upon her back. A low growl escaped her lips as she went into a spin and coming up behind him, she attacked. Jag heart pounded as the Jedi came up on his unprotected back and he went instantly by instinct by dropping down as he watched with wariness her bright blade went flying past the area where his head had just been. Tahiri just shook her head in disappointment at them. “You two are no fun”. Zekk quickly gained his balance and looked at her weirdly, “we’re not trying to be”. He said as he raised his lightsaber in front of him, waiting for her to jump at him again. She shook her head at them as even Jag rose again with his blaster pointed directly at her. She raised a hand though and it went flying from his grasp. He gasped in annoyance but Tahiri just smiled. “You too still don’t get it do you?” Zekk looked at her carefully then his eyes widened slightly. “You’ve been playing us”, he concluded. Then he looked at her in confusion as he read her through the force. “You’re going to help us?!” he asked in shock. Tahiri continued to smile as she shrugged and switched off his blade, “I think I owe Jacen something for giving something back to me”. Jag looked at her hardly believing what he was hearing. “What did he give you?” She sighed contently, “My freedom”. ……………………………….. Jaina breath was coming out hard now, as she was giving her all but Caedus still had neither turned his lightsaber on or really fought back. She used the force to throw a large heavy durasteel pole at him. But he jumped and cleared it. She could really hear the crowd booing again and she wished with all her heart she could stop them. Caedus landed higher up on a ledge and he spat down at her. “Your sword is weak!” He taunted her. “The mighty sword of the Jedi is weak!” She gulped but showed no emotion as she force spurge up to him with her lightsaber raised high. “You know if I were you, I’d shut up!” She warned as her lightsaber hummed angrily at him. He just laughed at her as he used the force to send the same steel pole she had sent at him to bring it in between them. She cursed as she could no longer reach him with her blade and she instead chewed at the pole. “Stop laughing!” she ordered as she finally cut through the steel and raced towards him. “It’s not very becoming on you”. Caedus snorted at that as he carefully calculated her pattern and easily evaded her. Jaina narrowed her eyes as she stepped to the right then to the left, with her blade slashing high then diving down low. But somehow he was always one step ahead of her and he almost managed to trip her again, except this time she was watching for it and she jumped up right at that point. And while doing that, she unexpectingly kicked out at him catching him right in the stomach. Caedus went stumbling back a little at the blow and he coughed at her. “Now Jaina, is that anyway to act towards your brother?” Jaina’s eyes really widened in rage now, “Why you little ….Fraud!” she yelled as her movement all of a sudden turned to the moves of a wild beast. “You are not my brother!” She bit out much louder then she should have. “Crazy and delusional I see”, Caedus said as he secretly winked at her. Jaina yelled again as her blood boiled on extreme high and she powered towards him using her complete being to charge him. Caedus almost looked at her in shock as she came towards him feeding off the blackness that was a follower of rage. After wasting all his time trying to turn Ben and Tahiri he now saw what he had been so blind to, Jaina was the one. She had the animal inside her that made up the greatest of all siths. Forget all of them; she was the one he needed. Jaina pounded at him with the abnormal strength that was now fueling her. She stuck to the right then went in a spin, as her blade ducked and parried. But mostly attacked. Caedus was almost worried now as his body could barely keep up with her actions, he really needed to ignite his lightsaber and he figured it was about time anyway. The whole galaxy could tell she had him cornered, now it was time for him to show the galaxy what happened to people who dared defy him. Jaina was just about to go for his head when the familiar sound of snap hiss sounded off and she smiled in victory as she saw the bright blood red saber under her blade. 	Oh, Tahiri! That was nasty, playing with Jag & Zekk like that! Time's a wasting here while you're playing... not to mention that terrible temper of Jaina's. I hope they all get there in time for the galaxy to see that Jaina is not delusional, Caedus is a fraud, and the real Jacen is going to kick his rear end! In any case, I'm glad Tahiri did seem to come to the right decision in the end. Let's get going here, can't wait to see Caedus immobilized. 	I just feel sorry for Han and Leia all the time now, no matter what they do the fate of their children seems to be out of their hands. I would almost like to see them retire to a planet no one has ever heard of and live the rest of their lives in peace, they have certainly earned it. That was a messed up joke on Tahiri's part. I thought she was smart, they really could have killed her...Oh well at least she didn't do any irreversible damage. I'm curious if Jag got the jump on her a few times because she was just playing, or if he really has such strong mental shields that she can't sense him coming. Then finally Mr Cobra Kai realizes it is serious and he actually has to try, but it is too late to prevent a loss because Mr. Miagi (Jacen) shows up to save the day. Assuming that Jacen gets there in time. I'll wait and see on that one. Does Caedus actually think Jaina would have ever joined him? Sure she has had brushes with the dark side before and she is using her anger now, but she has too strong of a foundation in the light to stay on the dark path. There are too many anchors in the form of her parents, her uncle, her friends and her love. I'm sure this latest brush with anger will bother Jaina for a long time, but she will get past it. 	Okay here's the next one! We're almost done now, can you all feel it? .................. Part 35 Tahiri led them quietly back to the building that Jacen was imposined. “Okay guys, you stay out here. I’ll take care of Alema.” She said gesturing them to stay put with her left hand as she walked on. Jag’s eyes widened slightly and his curiosity peeked. “Alema’s in there?” Zekk smiled at him knowingly. This was perfect. She nodded quickly almost casual as if she had no idea of what this would mean to Jag. “Yes, now hush. I’ll give the signal.” They obliged and watched her slightly walk away. Zekk leaned over to Jag and whispered. “You know this could be a trap.” Jag’s eyes narrowed, “yeah I know, but I don’t think it is.” Zekk gave him a sideways look but didn’t say anything else. For he had the same feeling. …………………………….. Alema was sitting on the same stool that Tahiri had been just hours ago as she just stared at Jacen. He had found it very unnerving at first, but with time he had just gotten used to it and had chosen to just think about other things then being locked up, a weird blue lady just staring at him and his sister that probably was right now facing off with his clone. He wondered though if she had figured it out, had she put the pieces together? If she hadn’t then she was about to be in some major shock. Caedus was his clone, he knew why but he could still barely believe it himself. But thankfully to save him from this insanity, that’s when Tahiri walked in. Alema looked up to, “bored already?” she asked her. “Ha ha”, Tahiri faked laughed back then stepped up to her. “There’s nothing really to do, so I figured I would just come back here”. Alema nodded in agreement, “we know what you mean, we don’t know what we managed to do in all that time”. She nodded back as she tried to look casual and making sure to keep her thoughts blacked out so that Alema couldn’t see what she was thinking or had planned. “So what have you and Jacen been up to?” she asked trying hard not to laugh at Jacen’s expression. Alema shrugged, “nothing, just thinking.” Jacen rolled his eyes at that and Tahiri had to try even harder not to laugh. “Well that sounds even more boring then what I was doing”, She said actually truthfully. She was right beside Alema now with her hand barely touching her lightsaber; she was going to have to be quick and precise with this. There was going to be no second chances once she started. Alema though seemed to still have no idea of what she had planned and was just a staring off in space. Good. “But I did get some interesting news’s from our boss”, She lied. That got Alema’s attention as she intently swung back around to Tahiri. “Really? We would have thought him too busy at the moment to do that.” Tahiri shrugged. “Who know’s what he’ll do.” She said shifting her feet into a better position. “But he sent me a message on my datapad.” “What did he say?” “He said he wants us to move Jacen there to his secret quarters”, she answered trying to sound as casual as possible. Alema’s eyebrows beetled together. “What secret quarters?” Tahiri laughed, “Well they wouldn’t be secret if you knew about them”. She pointed out. She had gotten Alema at that. “Okay then”, she said warily. “But how are we going to move him?” Alema asked. Tahiri had to think about that one. “Well I’m not sure, but I’m sure Jacen won’t cause too much trouble.” She said locking a piercing gaze with him. “Isn’t that right Jacen?” Jacen was taken aback, something was going on here. He could feel it, what was Tahiri up to? But he finally nodded when he caught an unmistakable wink from her. He smiled shyly back. This was going to be good. Alema had turned to look around, “We’re not too sure of that,” she said slowly turning back to him, “I don’t trust him. He is a prisoner after all; he’ll probably cut and run first chance he gets”. Tahiri shrugged again as she walked over to the stall that he was in, “well orders are orders, and if he can’t give us proper instructions on how to take care of him. Then that’s his fault.” Alema bit her lip. “We’re not sure of this Tahiri; we think we should think of a better idea.” “Nah, why would go to all that trouble of thinking when I like this idea?” Tahiri asked perfectly serious. Alema looked around almost nervously. “What’s your plan?” Tahiri smiled at that. “Well I say we strap him into a speeder and surround him in those nasty little force sucking beasts and then drive him to the secret quarters.” She said mentally grinning as well. “Easy, simple and effective.” Alema’s face betrayed her annoyance with that plan. “Too easy and simple.” She chuckled at that, “like I’ve said before, you worry too much Alema. This will work, now can you open this door for me, while I start loading up the speeder with these…things”. She asked disgustingly. Alema frowned, but did as asked and started to type in the code for the door while Tahiri hovered a little. The door then swung open but the next thing that happened was neither easy nor simple. Alema went flying and screaming into the cell as a hard booted foot kicked her forward. Tahiri quickly slammed the door shut as Alema suddenly came barreling back towards them. “Why you little…” Alema yelled at them, “You traitor!” Jagged rubbed his hands together in satisfaction. “Well that was fun”, he said still beaming from the kick he had gotten into her. Zekk laughed then high fived him. “You did it Jag! You finally have Alema. Nice kick too by the way”. If it was possible Jag actually beamed even bigger at that. “Thanks”. Tahiri laughed along with them as well until what Alema did next. Alema stalked over and grabbed Jacen by the collar as she jerked him up to his feet. “Let me out”, she threatened with rage as she stuck her lightsaber to his throat. “Now”. The whole room froze in that instant. Jag and Zekk turned to each other in horror and worry then turned back to the scene in front of them. Jacen didn’t dare move as the hilt her lightsaber felt cold and moved with his quickened pulse like deadly reminder. He didn’t even want to think about what would happen if she flipped the switch. What was he going to do? He looked out at horrified faces of his friends and his brain went blank. “Let him go!” Tahiri yelled in desperation. Alema laughed at her wickedly like a mad women. “Not a chance. Now let me out before I have to break orders and kill him.” Kill him…suddenly something clicked within him. “Alema can I ask you something?” He asked with his voice coming out a little husky from the medal that was pressed against his neck. She frowned down at him. “Is this the famous last words of a dead man?” Jacen had to fight the urge to widen his eyes in shock. “No. But what I’m wondering is; what are you planning to get out of this?” Her eyes blinked at him a couple of seconds before she answered. “Why the balance of the galaxy of course.” Jacen wasn’t sure what to make out of that, but went on. “And how are you planning on doing that?” She snorted at him. “Why making your family suffer of course! They’re the ones to set it off and they will be the ones whose blood sets it back right again.” “And killing me and Caedus sets it right?” “Yes, you and….huh? Caedus? Who’s Caedus?” She asked in bewilderment. “If you’re trying to distract us though, we promise it won’t work”, she warned. Jacen sucked in a breath to calm himself down some then went on. “You don’t know who Caedus is?” he asked almost in shock. “He’s the guy that’s my clone remember? That’s his real name. Darth Caedus”. Alema looked really bewildered now, “really? We didn’t know that. But what does that have to do with us killing you? We’re just going to kill you, not him. We still need him.” “If you still need him, then I suggest you put that weapon down”, he warned. She narrowed her eyes at him. “Why?” “Because...” he said smiling mentally, he almost had her. “Caedus and I are connected, you kill me then you lose him too. How’s that for the balance?” Alema’s body shock and her lightsaber fell out of her hand as it clanked down onto the ground. “Horrible.” She said as she suddenly dropped him then twirled back to Tahiri. “Did you know about this?” she demanded. Tahiri mouth still hung in surprise as she shook her head no. Alema then turned to the boys but she got the same answer there as well. She huffed and spun back around to Jacen. “How do we know you’re not just lying?” But she was interrupted as she suddenly fell to the ground. Jacen looked up in surprise but relief as he saw Jag behind her with a durasteel plank in his hands. Jacen laughed at him. “Couldn’t help yourself huh?” Jag smiled, “nope. But I’m surprised she didn’t hear me though”, he said swinging the door behind him in all its squeaking glory. “Oh well, good for me”, he said shrugging. Tahiri and Zekk laughed behind him. “She didn’t hear you because she went into anger mode”, Zekk explained. “I’ve seen Jaina do it quite a few time actually, and while she’s in it she doesn’t hear a thing unless it’s something she wants to hear.” Tahiri shook her head at him as she made her way into the cell and started taking off Jacen’s stun cuffs. “Now you boys be nice”, she warned when she heard Jag add something to it behind her. Jacen shook his wrists and legs experimentally before he got to his feet. “What I want to know, is why she just didn’t cut her way out of this cell since she had her lightsaber on her?” He asked dumbfounded. Tahiri walked back outside the cell and into the force before she answered. “Because this cell is made of that rock that stops Lightsaber blades. I don’t remember what Caedus called it, but he was quite proud of it. He said something about Palpatine owning the same thing back in his empire.” She explained. “Huh,” Jacen mumbled as he took a feel of it on his way out. It was rough, but other than that it didn’t seem all that different. Once he was out of the cell though, he felt a lot different. It was like walking back into the arms of a long lost friend that he loved. He took a moment to soak up the heat and warmth of the force, but then that’s when it hit him. “Jaina!” he yelled. And the next thing that he knew was that he was running faster than ever in his life. Jaina! ......................... the calvery coming! the calvery's coming! 	Who could have seen that coming...lol. Still funny, even though it was anticipated. To be honest, I'm suprised Tahiri waited so long. Not sure what the fight between her and Zekk and Jag was about, though. 	Hahaha Alema is knocked out cold. Tahiri, Jacen, Jag, and Zekk are coming in to save the day. And does this mean...Invincible is about to come to a close ? And Ashlen is not my alter ego, you fool , jk. No actually I have a really good friend up here in college and her middle name is Ashlen and she's into Star Wars fiction and I asked her if I could use her likeness in my story and voila.
