I always wondered what the limit to force speed was....apparently the answer is that nothing is impossible for the force. That was a very visual heavy chapter. With the duel between Jaina and Caedus taking place as they were falling past levels and levels of Coruscant and the Jacen as a pillar of light. Sounds like Caedus got owned in the end, haha. The best had to be the falling duel though, that was some crazy action. I can't help but wonder what will happen in the aftermath. Hopefully Jaina will be alright after her injuries. I'll like to see what Jacen does about the GA since everyone thinks it was him running the show the whole time anyways. Very good post!

LOL i'm not sure what the speed limit is either, but I decided to wing it and do it my way  .
thanks! glad you thought so, I was trying to be very visaul in it. yeah I thought the falling scene would be pretty cool, I actually just thought of that last night and put it in there. glad to hear you liked it!
lol yes the pillar of light was something i've had on my mind ever sense I even started this story. I knew from the start that thats the way I wanted Caedus to be taken down by. lol yes Caedus got toddally owned!  he he.
well the next part will hopefully answer those questions, and to the horror I find myself haveing to write a SPEECH of all things  . *facepalm* this is going to be interesting...and i'm not sure if thats a good kind of interesting...  . *hits head against desk*

Excellent!
Very intense, and very well builded. I could picture just about anything you wrote. The scenes were really thrilling.
I agree with many opinions... if only profic could be that way... hehehe.
I hope Jacen's alright and will pick up the pieces of his life, including Tenel Ka and Allana, which leads me to my next question. i'm a little confused as if Allana is really Jacen's daughter or Caedus's...

yeah well I'd tell you but then there wouldn't be any surprises so....  lol but Allana is Caedus's child  Jacen's been gone since the YV war so he couldn't really father a child.

well just so you all know, the next part should be coming out soon. Its pretty much done, my Masters reviewing it right now and whenever I get the green lights from him i'll post it. And well I know I had told a few of you that this was going to be the last one, but it ended up coming out a lot longer then I had thought it would. So I'm spitting it between two more parts! Yay! Then we'll finally be done

Part 37
Holo cams flooded the area as Jaina kneeled over her brother in shock and horror.
And watching that on the small holo screen inside the millennium Falcon was Luke, Ben, Han, Leia and Kyp Durron.
“Oh my blasted …” Kyp started.
Luke raised a hand to cover his mouth before he could continue as his blank but still meaningful expression and eyes took in the situation.
“Han, do you know what part of Coruscant that is?” He asked turning slightly to his shock frozen friend.
Han nodded absentminded and said. “Yeah I think so.”
“Good, take us in”.
………………………..
"Jacen!” Jaina’s face was pale and stricken as she quickly ran to her brother. “Jacen!”
She slid to his side and her hands went to him immediately as she gently prodded him.
“Jacen, wake up!” She demanded screaming now as hot tears began to stream down her face.
But he didn’t heed her orders, and he lay as still as ever. Jaina’s hands shook as she pushed and prodded him again.
“Jacen! Come back, you can’t leave me!” She screamed with such intensity that it felt like it shook the ground.
She sobbed as she slowly lowered her head and closed her eyes.
“Jacen.” She whispered.
This wasn’t fair, this just wasn’t fair. She had finally found him, they were finally together again. After so many years of life without her other half she had finally been whole again, but now she was just ripped apart again. When she had found him, she had finally let herself hope again. She had begun to think that the galaxy wasn’t as dark and ruthless as she had thought.
But she had been wrong. It instead had ended up playing the cruelest of all jokes on her. It had given her her brother back, but only to see him taken away from her again and this time right in front of her own eyes. Her tears broke into heartfelt sobs as she violently shook Jacen.
“Jacen you did it! You defeated Caedus. The galaxy will finally be at peace again. Now wake up!” She pleaded.
She knew he wasn’t dead yet, but part of her felt like he already was. His pulse and life force was draining quickly and Jaina felt utterly useless as she watched in horror.
“Jacen, no! You can’t leave me, you just can’t.” Her hands shook uncontrollably as she threaded her fingers through his dark soft brown hair, then falling down to stroke his smooth skin.
Her voice was no longer even recognizable as she whispered his name over and over again. But she knew it was no use, he was gone.
She thought she had already prepared herself for this when she had still thought that Caedus had been her brother and that she was going to kill him. But she hadn’t ever expected this, and her heart broke into even more pieces then she had ever thought possible with each dying breath of her beloved Jacen. It was over.
Jaina slowly leaned down, rested her head against Jacen's forehead, and wished with all her might that his eyes would flicker open so she would be able to gaze into those beautiful brown eyes that reflected her own.
“Jacen, come back to me.”
……………………………..
As the Falcon lowered, the occupants flooded out in hast as many of them jumped out even before they were completely on the ground.
They sky was still filled with the aftershocks of Darth Caedus. All of the Jedi felt like they could still hear him and even to Han who wasn’t force sentive at all; he still managed to have a chilling feeling in his spine. Crashed buildings and smashed speeders and people alike littered the streets, which added to the haunting feeling of the place.
Han shivered as he ran, but then totally stopped in his tracks when he saw the scene he had been dreading most.
Jaina hadn’t looked up at them and they wondered whether she even knew they were here. Her crushed blood covered body was laid out on top of Jacen’s as tears flooded from her onto his paled face.
Leia covered her face with her hands and her movement mirrored her daughters. Han found himself laying a hand on her meant for comforting, but instead turned out to be more of a brace to keep himself from falling.
Luke and Ben slowly made their way to inspect the remains of his niece and nephew. But Ben found himself unable to move another foot when he came to just a meter of them and Luke patted his arm reassuringly as he carefully lowered himself next to Jaina.
“How bad is it?” asked Luke, taking in the sight he had never really expected to see ever again: Jacen.
His whole expression changed as he lovingly stroked his arm with the force searching his pulse and life signature in the gesture. He almost took a moment to rejoice in the fact that Jacen was real and had never ended up being the person that had filled his nightmares and regret. He had started to think that Jacen had been killed and was destined to never surface again, but he was alive. That thread of amazement filled him with joy, but a joy that could easily be put out if he didn’t do something quick, and in the end Jacen would end up dying for real this time.
He gently raised one of his hands off Jacen, laid it upon Jaina’s shivering body and said. “Its going to be okay Jaina, he’s just unconscious. He’ll wake up soon.”
It was a lie, but he hoped desperately that it wouldn’t turn out to be a total one.
Jaina’s body jumped under his hand and when she looked up at him, Luke wished she never had. He swallowed his guilt that threatened to overcome him, then scooped up Jacen’s limp body wishing he could carry Jaina as well. But Kyp soon solved that problem as he took her in his arms, with her far too weak to even complain.

It was a weird feeling. One minute you were just one person lost in the mix of billions of other souls...then the next you were everything and everyone.
He no longer was Jacen Solo...he was now the force itself as answers and power were suddenly unlimited to him. It was ironic though, for him to finally see and know everything, but that he would still feel so lost.
He distantly could hear someone calling his name, but it didn’t really feel like his name. He wasn’t sure who he was anymore; he felt like billions of people at once with them all speaking to him at once. And they all felt oddly familiar, even though the part of him who was still Jacen Solo was telling him he didn’t know them. It was an illusion, it was the force.
He was lost in the flow of the force and he wasn’t sure how he was ever going to get out.

Han paced the waiting room in impatience.
“How long does it take to kick a boy out of his dreams and back into the real world!” He thundered.
Leia looked up from her lap and watched her enraged husband.
“It’s more than that Han.” She said with a shaken voice from her own worry that was slowly taking over her as well.
Right now she felt like she should be rejoicing, for she had both her children back. But part of her knew that she wasn’t going to be happy until they were back in one piece. And the fact that she might not flooded her with deep sorrow.
At that moment the doors suddenly swung open and hope rushed to her brain thinking it would be Cilghal or Luke. But it turned out to be neither as Jag, Tahiri and Zekk rushed into the room.
“Where is she? Is she okay? What happened?” Jag asked firing away with his voice betraying his normally calm steady voice.
Zekk soon joined in with shouting of questions as well, while Tahiri just stood back in unsure silence.
Leia looked at them with uncharacteristic silence as her expression said it all. Zekk bit his lip as he felt her more than enough through the force as well. And even though Jag lacked that aspect, he still had the sense to shut up as well.
Han didn’t though as he turned on them and shouted, “Where have you two been?!”
They both opened their mouths to answer, but Han didn’t let them get there.
“You two were supposed to be taking care of my daughter!” His voice loud enough to wake Vader back from the dead. “But no! I find that my baby daughter is instead taking on the most messed up sith lord of all time all by herself!”
Jag and Zekk felt like they had been glued to the floor as they watched Han like he was insane, “But…”
“Shut up!” Han thundered again, “You two are just really lucky that Jacen got there in time to save her. Well no that’s wrong…we don’t know if she’s actually been saved yet, because as of right now we might lose them BOTH!”
“Han, stop”, Leia whispered from her still body.
All eyes went to her and Han finally shut up.
“I’m sorry sweetheart.” He whispered back as he walked over to sit next to her.
She leaned her head against his chest and he gently stroked her hair, but his facial expression still spoke volumes as he glared out at Jag and Zekk behind Leia’s back.
Thankfully that’s when Luke and Cilghal finally walked in though and all eyes quickly flew to them.
“Well it seems…” Luke started then stopped the moment he noticed Tahiri.
His eyes widened and she gingerly locked gazes with him.
Zekk walked up behind and put a hand on her shoulder, and said to Luke “Don’t worry, she’s with us now”.
Luke smiled as relief flooded part of him, then when he saw the still worried looks in the room he decided to discuss it later and went back to Jaina and Jacen.
“Well it seems that Jaina is going to be just fine, she had a few broken bones, some deep cuts, but it seems emotional damage is her main weakness right now. She just needs some rest and to stay off her feet for a few days and she should be fine.” Said Luke.
Relief came to everyone’s faces, but not totally and Luke deeply regretted telling them the bad news.
Leia stared into her twins eyes and urged him to go on, “what about Jacen?”
Luke looked evenly back and he gulped. He knew he had to tell them but he desperately didn’t want to. If this turned out to be worse then he thought, then….
“I don’t know about him. His pulse is declining fast and well, there’s something weird about this but it almost seems as if his life force is being sucked away. When I try to get inside him with the force, he just feels …different. He’s still filled to the max of the force like Jaina’s still experiencing. But something’s different about his connection to it and his life signature is slowly draining away, making him feel like a complete stranger almost.” said Luke.
He looked out at all of them confusion, he didn’t know what to do.
“I don’t know what’s wrong, because other than that he’s in complete physical health.” Luke finished.
Leia broke her gaze with him and looked down to the ground again pulling away from Han at the same time.
“I want to see him.” She said as she determinedly got to her feet.
Cilghal cast Luke a worried look, but he simply nodded and went to help his sister. She stopped him though and quickly walked past him. Han shrugged then rushed after her. Luke blew out a deep breath and followed.

Jacen floated through the oblivion of the force. It felt like forever and quick all at the same time as he twisted and turned in time with the galaxy. He couldn’t even remember who he was now as his soul was completely lost to him. All he knew and could remember was well….everything. His life and memories were just something thrown into the mix of the galaxy now as well, and he couldn’t even point out which ones were his.
He felt no sorrow though; he couldn’t remember how to feel much of anything anymore.
“Jacen!”
There it was again. The voice. He didn’t know where it came from, but he was starting to hear it more and more. He wondered what it meant and why he kept hearing it. But like other feelings, it slowly drifted away to nothing.
“Jacen!”
This time though it didn’t come alone and he was suddenly falling.

Han shoved open the door and held it for Leia who feebly but quickly walked through.
“Jacen!” Leia gasped at the sight of her beloved son and she rushed to side.
“Jacen, you’re alive.” She whispered in delight as she drank in the sight of him.
She caressed his pale cheek and lovingly spoke words of no meaning really. She could hardly believe the sight; it really took the meaning of a sight for sore eyes to a whole new level.
Han smiled at the sight and lowered himself on his son’s bed looking into his features that were vastly lighter and softer than his fraud sons had been. The only part that spoiled the beautiful moment was that he couldn’t see the calming brown eyes that remained unseen.
“Kid, time to wake up,” Han said softly as he shook one of Jacen legs.
But he didn’t move and Han shook him harder.
“Jacen!”
But it still didn’t work and Han started twitching in apprehension. He was like Jaina; there was no way he was going to lose his son again. Not if he had anything to do with it.
“Jacen!” Yelled Han.
Luke went to his friend’s side and laid a calming hand on him.
Han whipped his head around to look at Luke demandingly, but Luke just shook his head. Han bawled his hand into a fist.
“There has to be something! Use that mambo jumbo on him and wake my son up!” Demanded Han.
A tear glistened at the side of Luke’s cheek.
“I can’t Han, this is beyond that.” Luke replied.
“No!” Han yelled slamming his fist on the bed, barely missing Jacen’s leg. “There has to be something you can do. I can’t lose him again Luke; you’ve got to do something. I just can’t lose him again…”
His voice wavered and Luke clearly felt his emotions through the force.
Luke bit his lip as he raked his brain again hoping...beyond hoping... that the force would send him a vision or something. Something that would save his nephew’s life. There had to be something......there always was.

Jacen felt like he had been falling for forever when he suddenly crashed hard. He looked around at the gold room and wondered where in the galaxy he was now.
“Jacen.”
There it was again. This time the voice wasn’t distant at all now and when he turned he found a lean red head woman staring back at him.
Jacen looked at her in confusion as part of him knew her somehow. He searched the force but there was just too much there and he felt too overwhelmed to search through it all.
“Hello?” Jacen said with his voice coming out a lot different then he thought it should sound.
He brushed away the thoughts as he stared at her weirdly as he felt some part of him connected to her.
He then suddenly felt a punch hit his shoulder. He turned around he found a tall young man in front of him with features that sparked something in him that only confused him even more.
“Hey there bro!” The figure welcomed him as he slapped him across the chest.
Jacen was taken aback at this but the touch burned something into his memory and a name rung through his head.
“Anakin?” Jacen asked.

Wow, that was a really great post. So now the family knows its the real Jacen. Wow only one more post left of Invincible then its all over with, thats going to be sad. Great job, can't wait for the final part.

Well, I sure hope he comes up with something, because Jacen is seeing dead people now. It would be an awful shame for Han & Leia to gain their real son back only to lose him again.
(I think I counted 36, not including your comment about counting "Jacens" at the end. OCD....)
