Wow, that was a really great post. So now the family knows its the real Jacen. Wow only one more post left of Invincible then its all over with, thats going to be sad. Great job, can't wait for the final part.

Well, I sure hope he comes up with something, because Jacen is seeing dead people now. It would be an awful shame for Han & Leia to gain their real son back only to lose him again.
(I think I counted 36, not including your comment about counting "Jacens" at the end. OCD....)

yeah it would be a shame, but just so you know i'm not the kind of person who likes to kill off my fav charcter...hint hint..

yep he sure is, I couldn't just leave the boy out no matter how hard I try. I love Anakin! next book I write is going to be about how Anakins clone had gotten killed and how the real Anakin is still alive JK! lol
hmmm...I hadn't thought about Anakin meeting Caedus...I'll have to think about that one, it would be quite funny I think

This is like the Twilight Zone for this post. It's pretty interesting how Jacen became one with the force again, only this time he can't detach himself from it. I guess that is a major disadvantage of having uber force powers. It will be interesting to see how Mara and Anakin can help Jacen get back.
I like how you let Han get mad in this, I have been really surprised that he hasn't been more angry in profic. Instead, he just seems sad all the time. The sadness is understandable, but no one can tell me that Han wouldn't get really pissed of at some point with all that has been going on in LotF. Heck even I get pissed off about some of the stuff he has to deal with and I'm just reading it.
The image you present of Jaina all mangled and broken is very sad, I don't know if she could make it through losing her brother again with the amount of trauma she has sustained. She seems to be at the point where she could give up and that is truly tragic. Jacen needs to survive, because if he dies then Jaina will die as well. Then Leia will die too because of the grief. After that Han would be so miserable that he might as well be dead, or he would kill Luke because he blames him for all the so called "Jedi business". It would be like dominoes.
Another really good post, I'm looking forward to the conclusion.

lol I guess so. I hadn't thought of twilight zone.. . I thought it would be a interesting concept for that to happen to Jacen. Glad you thought so too, hopefully I'll do it justice.
thanks, I thought it was about time Han stopped being all soft like he's been in the last few Profic's and really showed some emotion. lol yeah I fully agree.
Glad you thought so, I was trying to get across a very emotional sad heartfelt scene with Jaina. I know if all those last events had happened to me like this I would pretty upset to say the least.

Part 38
Anakin just smiled back.
Suddenly in that moment as Mara and Anakin both hugged him, it all came back. He was suddenly just Jacen Solo again, and although he immediately felt weaker, he felt much better mentally.
“Anakin? Aunt Mara? Jacen asked in wonderment as he joyfully hugged them back, basking in the warm feelings of being with family.
“Well aren’t you the best relief medication my eyes set sight on in a long time.” Mara said patting him on the back, “I was beginning to think that Caedus really had destroyed you.”
Jacen gulped slightly as those feelings of regret suddenly started pouring themselves upon him. Well until Anakin slapped him.
“Ow! What was that for?” Jacen asked rubbing the spot on the far right of his head.
Anakin narrowed his eyes at him, “stop that.”
“What?”
“Blaming yourself for things that are nowhere near your fault.” Anakin scolded him.
Jacen chuckled at that, “I thought you were the master of that?”
Anakin slapped him again, which didn’t’ result in any which way he had planned it would as Jacen just started laughing harder. He frowned at him but Jacen just smiled back.
“It’s good to see you again too bro”. Jacen spoke softly as he looked over his long dead brother in fascination.
He thought gazing upon his dead Aunt and brother would still all thoughts of intellectual, but it didn’t as unwanted questions started to roll through his head. How was this happening? Where was he? Where was Jaina? Was Caedus gone?
Jacen tried his best to shove away the troubling thought as he desperately just wanted to let go and rejoice in this wonderful dream.
But it wasn’t to be when one question struck him still with dread. “Wait a minute”, Jacen started with shock, “am I dead?”
Mara laughed, “I’m sorry Jacen” she teased, “but your still very much needed back in the real world, it seems your destiny isn’t quite finished with you yet”, she continued as she winked at him.
Jacen narrowed his eyes in confusion, “so I’m not dead?” he asked.
They both shook their heads.
Jacen smiled in relief, “But what about you two? You’re coming back with me too, right?” He asked, somehow already knowing the answer.
Mara shook her head. “No, are destiny’s are already over.” She answered evenly without a note of regret. “The only reason you’re here is because the force made a mistake.” She said chuckling a little at that. “I know that sounds weird, but you had become so close to the force in that instant, that you had actually become the force. Your soul had become intertwined with it and the force had gotten confused.”
Jacen mouth gapped open at that and Anakin swatted him across the back again.
“Congrats Jace, You’re the first one ever in history to actually confuse the force.” Anakin half teased.
Jacen narrowed his eyes at them and said, “You’ve got to be kidding me.”
They shook their heads with grins pulling at both their mouths.
Jacen was taken aback, “Buts that impossible.” He said shaking his head. “The force doesn’t get confused like that.” He reasoned.
This was weird, this was very weird. When he had become one with the force, sure it had felt a lot deeper than it had the time before, but surely he hadn’t gotten completely sucked into the force. Had he?
Jacen shook his head and muttered, “How is this possible?”
Anakin shrugged like it was no big deal. “You ask too many questions Jacen.” He teased. “I would give a lot to trade places with you right now.”
Mara squeezed his arm, “say hi to Luke and Ben for me, okay?”
Jacen’s eyes widened at her as he fought back tears. “Of course, but what’s going to happen to you two? I have so many questions and…”
Anakin silenced him with a hug, “No more questions Jacen, just enjoy what you have. And remember that we’ll be with you always.” He whispered in Jacen ear. “I promise.”
Jacen had tears streaming down his face now as he hugged his beloved little brother back, knowing that this was probably going to be the last time in a very long time. But he rejoiced in the fact that next time, it would be forever.
Anakin pulled out of the hug and let Mara in as she too hugged him. “Make sure to obey your uncle,” she whispered. “And make sure to be a headache to your father once a day for me.”
Jacen chuckled, “I think I’ll leave that to Jaina.” He said.
Mara clapped him on the shoulder, “yeah she’ll probably do enough of that for both of you.” She teased. “But don’t tell her I said that.” She winked.
“Sure thing.” Jacen said still laughing through his words. “But I don’t think she’d disagree.”
I don’t know…” Mara started. “You sure brought plenty of it in the last few months.”
“But I…”
Mara really laughed, “I was just joking Jacen. You go home and be the angel of all things good and never ever listen to a lady called Lumiya.” She warned.
Jacen tried to laugh but the reality of what she had said prevented him from doing it.
“I’ll remember that next time Jaina says I need to be tougher.” Jacen replied.
Anakin joined in on the joke, “I don’t think she’s going to be teasing you about that for a very, very long time.” He said.
“Great. Now will you two please stop teasing me about this?” Jacen asked far too sweetly with a cheesy little grin playing upon his face.
Anakin gazed evenly at him, “sure, as long as you never do that again.” He said referring to Jacen’s bad joke and tacky smile.
Jacen rolled his eyes, “yeah thanks for the support little bro.” he said.
Mara just looked at them in happy content, “sorry to break up this family reunion, but Jacen you really need to get back before you end up stuck here forever.” She warned.
Jacen twirled back around to her, “how?” he asked in confusion.
“There,” she said pointing behind him towards a much brighter part in the wall. “It will be closing soon. And so you don’t warp the force even more, you really need to leave.”
Jacen opened his mouth to protest but Mara brought up her hand, “no more questions, now go!”
Jacen narrowed his eyes at her, “way to get rid of me.” He half teased.
Mara’s determined face turned soft one more time as she smiled at him. “I love you Jacen. But your still surviving family needs you more than we do right now.” She said swallowing back an annoying lump in her throat. “But here take this.” She said holding out a piece of paper to him.
Jacen slowly took it. “What is it?” he asked looking down at it.
“Don’t open it!” Mara scolded. “That’s for Luke.”
Jacen raised up his hands. “Sorry, sorry.” He then turned to Anakin who just smiled warmly back. “So you want me to say anything to Tahiri for you?” He asked.
Anakin frowned, “umm… do you really think that’s a good idea?”
“Why wouldn’t it?” Jacen asked back confused.
Anakin shrugged, “I don’t know, it just took her so long to get over me. So I’m not really sure it would be a good idea to fire it back up.” He reasoned sadly. More than anything he wanted to send something back to his only love, but love also held him back from knowing that it would probably do more harm than good.
“No, don’t worry about it.” Anakin finally said back.
Jacen started to say something back, but his sight was suddenly overtaken by a bright light. He moved his mouth trying to say words as he yelled out to Mara and Anakin. But no sound came out and he screamed as the bright light slowly claimed him.
…………………………..
Jaina was jerked awake from her bed and shrieked. “Jacen!”
She jumped out of bed ignoring all her arguing sore joints as she raced out of the room.
It had been a week since the bringing down of Caedus. And although there had been celebration in that fact. Jaina hadn’t felt like celebrating, not at all. And she wondered how any of them could.
But tonight she had felt it. That thread of existence she had been waiting for, praying for, pleading for and hoping for. She desperately hoped her brain wasn’t playing cruel jokes on her, but somehow she didn’t think so. He was here, he was back.
And about time.
Her parents and everyone really had been on edge the last week. And with the last passing day’s it had only grown worse. She knew some of them had lost nearly complete faith, Uncle Luke being one of them. But she had refused to believe that. Well at first she had. But with time, her stubbornness had come back and wasn’t allowing her not to believe it. The force wasn’t like that. She was sure of that. It had given her back her brother for a reason, and it wasn’t just for taking care of Caedus and saving her hide. There was more to this, there had to be.
At least she hoped so.
She quickly made her way through the halls and slid into Jacen’s room. He was still being kept in the medical bay along with her. She was still healing and Dad hadn’t let her out no matter how much she had argued it. He was suddenly obsessed with making sure she was safe and wouldn’t let her out until she was completely healed. It had bothered her, but with Jacen being how he was, she didn’t want to be yet another stress to him. Or herself.
The room was dark as it was late at night, but even in the darkness Jaina saw a bright light.
“Jacen?” Jaina called softly as she carefully made her way to his bed. She used the force to turn on the lights, then gently lowered herself on the bed next to Jacen’s still body.
To the naked eye, he would seem like he was still lost in a coma of sleep. But Jaina saw past that, way past that.
In the previous week, he had felt like a void of the Jacen she knew, but now as she touched him, the spark was back brighter than ever. Jaina gasped, but as she melted in their twin bond she suddenly felt overfilled with happiness.
“Jacen”, she whispered as the all too familiar tears started cascading down her cheeks.
She sat in that same position staring at him intently with love and relief flooding her emotions as she watched his long dark lashes finally start to twitch.
“Come on, come on.” Jaina muttered.
Then it happened. In that one wonderful moment, his eyes suddenly flickered open slowly revealing the treasures that lay underneath.
“Jacen!” She squealed in delight, and then mentally slapped herself for sounding so girly.
Jacen groaned slightly as he slowly woke up with his lashes blinking repetitively.
“Jaina?” He asked in a very hushed confused tone.
“It’s me.” She answered back, watching him with amazement.
Jacen swallowed several times as he slowly came around. “Where are we?” He asked in a much louder, clearer voice now.
Jaina smiled. “Coruscant. Jedi temple, med center.” She supplied.
“Caedus?”
“Gone.” She answered back quickly. “You did it Jacen; you saved the galaxy once again.”
Jacen’s chapped lips pulled into a grin. “Good.” He said.
……………………………..
Jacen and Jaina slowly made their way down temple halls a few hours later.
“Are you sure I’m not too heavy?” Jacen asked as Jaina was practically dragging him.
“Don’t worry, I’m a lot tougher then I look”. She replied as she gently readjusted his arm over her shoulder a little in a more comfortable position.
Jacen chuckled at that, “That I don’t doubt”. He teased.
Jaina smiled at that. Jacen had already come a long ways in just the last few hours, he was still really weak. But his soul was back to being 100 percent Jacen. And Jaina still couldn’t get over seeing and feeling him beside her again. It was great. The force was fair after all.
“So what’s the next area on our tour?” Jacen asked, looking around in fascination.
“You’ll see”, she promised as she led him by a few training areas. But she had already showed him quite a few of those already and decided to skip them.
But Jacen stopped her.
Jaina turned to him and looked at him in confusion, but he quickly brought a finger to his lips. Her eyes narrowed but she kept her mouth shut and she stretched out to hear or see what had caught her brother’s attention.
………………………..
“Han calm down”.
“No! This is it, this is it! You are to never ever touch my daughter or my wife again. They quit! Han yelled. “All your Jedi stuff as only brought pain and sorrow to my family, and I want NO more of it!”
Luke backed up a little, and he didn’t know why.
“Han, come on be reasonable.” Luke said in a calming voice. “Your family has done great things; they’ve made the galaxy a much better place. As have you. It’s one of the things our family is known for. Do you really want to give that up and risk the galaxy’s future?”
“I don’t care about the galaxy anymore! I want my family, and most of it I’ll never have again thanks to you.” Han harshly bit out.
Luke’s mouth gapped open without words, Han had just bitten at his sorest point. He still very much regretted and blamed himself for Anakin’s death, and now Jacen? This was just too much.
“Han I…” Luke started not really sure how he was going to finish.
His eyes adverted to stare at Leia’s small form on one of the chairs nearby. She hadn’t said a word so far, and Luke wondered if she was agreeing with Han on this. He sighed; he guessed that she could only take so much.
“I don’t want to hear it”, Han bit in, “as soon as Jaina’s well enough to leave, we’re moving back to Correllia. Then we can finally live happily ever after.” Han continued as he glared at Luke. “Have fun saving the galaxy. I retire.”
“Now dad, why would you do that and reject the galaxy of the best pilot in the galaxy?”
Han’s, Luke’s and Leia’s mouth’s all dropped at once at the familiar voice and they quickly twirled around to see a standing and smiling Jacen Solo along with his sister.
“Jacen!” Han was the first to yell.
And the next thing Jacen knew was the smell of his father as his strong arms totally engulfed him.
Jacen laughed in delight as he tightly hugged him back. “Its okay dad, I’m here.” He said between happy tears.
Han chuckled and it gave Jacen a good feeling as he felt his dad’s own tears as well trickling down his neck.
“Are you sure? Because Kid, if you ever do this to me again, it will never be okay again.” Han lightly warned as he nearly lifted his son off the ground.
“Han stop scaring him”, Leia scolded as she butted in and detached the two.
Jacen laughed again. Then took his mother his arms and hugged her tightly too.
It really was good to be back.
…………………………..
Two weeks later…
Jacen lips pursed together again for the millionth time as he carefully looked nervously around.
“I really don’t think this is a good idea…” Jacen whispered to Jaina.
Jaina looked sideways at him and had to hold back a laugh at his petrified look.
“Oh stop your whining.” She scolded. “You’ll do great.”
Jacen didn’t look convinced in the slightest and he continued to look around nervously.
“I really, really don’t think this is a good idea…” He said again.
Jaina rolled her eyes playfully. “Stop worrying, you’ll be fine. And I’ll be right back here to kick any of their butts if they get out of line.” She said mischievous.
Jacen’s eyes slightly widened as he turned to Jaina. “That’s what I’m afraid of.”
She punched him. “Oh, just go put that smart mouth to work out there.” Jaina said pushing him towards the stage. “Now get!”
He obeyed reluctantly and looked back at her with a false betrayed look as he walked away.
Jaina made a face at him. “Oh stop it, you liar.”
Jacen faked a tear, and then finally turned towards the stage.
“Here go’s nothing.” He whispered.
He could already hear the cheering as Niathal was speaking and supposedly introducing him.
Jacen still didn’t know how he had gotten pulled into all this. It had started with just a friendly visit by Admiral Niathal, then somehow she had talked him into speaking in front of the senate….and the galaxy. She had argued that since the reveal of Caedus all over the holonet that a lot of people had questions and had pretty much demanded to see and hear the real Jacen Solo speak.
He gulped; he really wasn’t good at these kinds of things. This was his mothers place, not his. But for the sake of the galaxy and himself, he would do this.
“And now without farther adieu, I give you the real Jacen Solo!”
That was his cue.
His carefully made his way out under the curtain and then his nervousness went tenfold when he was suddenly greeted by thousands of people. And only the force kept his emotions from showing as he quickly made his way to the podium.
He blew out a deep breath then put on the best smile he could supply at the moment and tried with all his might to start his rehearsed speech.
“Hey everyone, I’m Jacen Solo.” He announced then mentally kicked himself for saying that after Niathal had just announced him. “But not the Jacen Solo you’ve all known the last few years. He was a fraud”. He kicked himself again for saying the obvious, but continued. “But to be more specific, he was my clone.”
The crowd was split between people cheering and booing, but Jacen’s attention was drawn more too several highly seated senators and other politicians that were seated near the front. But unfortunately their faces weren’t giving away anything. Jacen sighed, but resisted the temptation to sense them through the force.
“Well my evil clone really”, Jacen continued on shivering at that memory. “Because as many of you don’t know, he was a sith. Darth Caedus.”
Jacen gritted his teeth together and was quite annoyed when they started chattering when most of the crowds let out a huge boo.
He lightly cursed under his breath as he made himself get to the point of this speech. “I know many of you believed and would have died for him, and that’s respectful I guess. He was a master of deception, filling his words with good to cover all the lies and evil that laid beneath.”
“I’m not here to blame all of you for following a liar, but it is important for you all to know what kind of person he really was, and what a messed up galaxy he’s left for us to clean up.” Jacen continued with his nerves shaking now more than ever. If these people wouldn’t let go of their stubbornness and listen to some truth, then he knew he’d soon find himself in a lot of trouble. Most of the people on Coruscant were big time followers of Caedus, while a lot of others systems weren’t. Hopefully if his words wouldn’t get through to the people here, then maybe his words over the holonet would.
He listened for a moment to the crowd’s uproar to what he had just announced before continuing.
“Yes, you all heard me right.” He continued after a few seconds. “A mess. A big fat war of lies, that brothers with too much time and ends up being exploded by a man who promises to make your brothers pay. And just like little children in a family of big size, there’s always some little disagreement going on. And then taunting occurs, and sometimes love soon turns to hate. It’s something most family’s go through. And I like to call it growing pains.”
Suddenly for reasons Jacen didn’t know, the crowds went silent. Interesting...he thought.
“Usually what happens in the end is that the mother or leader is the one to work it all out between the kids again before the kids throw a tantrum and that’s when the punches or shots are really fired.”
“But when the leader instead uses the situation to his or her own advantage, an evil advantage that favors one child above the others and decides to light the fire that had only started out as some friendly fire, now into a bon fire. Now that’s when the real trouble occurs.”
“This is what happened here.” Jacen spoke, and he was pleasantly surprised to feel himself starting to become a little more comfortable as the crowds were actually looking at him with a little interest now.
“Now this doesn’t mean I support what either of your party’s stand for. Because you both were in very much the wrong here.” Jacen said and he wasn’t surprised with their silence suddenly turned back to the noisiness of earlier. As they suddenly felt the need to make excuses and tell him why they were right. While some of them just blamed their leaders.
“And don’t completely blame your leaders either, no matter about how wrong they were too. Because unlike the parable, none of you are children. The fact is that you all should have seen this coming and used your own common sense as well instead of just relying on your leaders.” Jacen continued, knowing he was in for some serious hate holo’s after he was through with this.
“Now I know having a bad leader doesn’t help matters at all. Especially when he’s a sith lord. But all of you have a brain and eyes that a galaxy deserves you to use.”
“Even when there look’s to be no other choice, don’t be fooled because there always is. It may not be a clear choice, but go by your instinct and a clear conscience, than I promise you that you’ll know. Trust me you’ll know.”
At this point Jacen was really just starting to forget about his nervousness and was really just throwing away his rehearsed speech and talking from his heart. It actually felt good. Maybe he could pull this off after all.
“Please always remember that, it’s your responsibility and you’re right to make the galaxy a better place. Because like an old friend of mine used to say: We are one. Just different seeds of the same pod. What hurts one of us, hurts us all.” Jacen finished and when he looked back out at all of them he really could see them thinking about what he had said. He let his face pull into a smile.
“Thank you all for listening to me today. And I hope you really think about what I’ve said here today.” Jacen then bowed and was actually surprised when the politicians rose to their feet and clapped. Then when the crowd noticed that, they soon followed suit. Jacen was in shock, but a good kind of shock as he carefully made his way off the stage and finally let himself breathe again.
But when he finally made it back stage he found his whole family looking at him in shock and his mother in tears.
He looked at them confused then asked. “What?”
Luke smiled and walked towards him. “I guess we’re just used to Caedus’s speeches. And that was like the complete opposite of what he would say.” He said letting out a soft chuckle. “And also, only Jacen Solo could have given that speech and actually make people agree.”
Jacen turned to him, “You actually think they listened?” He asked.
Luke squeezed his shoulder, “Trust me, they did.” He answered.
Jacen smiled in satisfaction then something about the way Luke was squeezing his shoulder he suddenly remembered something.
“Oh!”
Luke looked at him confused. “Oh, what?”
Jacen lightly laughed, “I forgot to give you something”, he said as he pulled out the note Mara had given him to his uncle.
“What is it?” Luke asked curiously as he took the piece of paper.
“No idea, she wouldn’t let me look”. Jacen answered back as he started walking towards his sister.
“You know…” Jacen started as he rested his arm against Jaina’s shoulder. “15 years really wasn’t enough, there’s still so much out there, you know. What would you think of me going back out and….”
He didn’t even get to continue as he suddenly had to run for his life as Jaina blazed off him.
“Do that and your dead!” Jaina yelled hotly as she chased after him. “You’ll wish Caedus had destroyed you if….”
Leia and Han watched their children as they were soon out of sight in deep amusement. Then started laughing uncontrollably.
Some things just never changed.
………………………..
By the time Jaina and Jacen had made it back to the temple, they were both way out of breath and were panting harder than most people would think Jedi even could.
Jacen was still laughing and Jaina was trying her hardest to keep annoyed look on her face even though Jacen knew that she was just dying to laugh as well.
“Oh give it up Jaina. You know you want to.” He teased as he barely twisted out of the way in time to avoid a force slap.
“Oh shut up.” She bit back between clenched teeth to avoid a laugh from escaping.
Jacen just grinned back at her, but before he could say another word he suddenly heard his name.
“Jacen!”
He twisted around to see a little spunky looking redhead child running towards him.
“Hello?” He said in a half questioning, half welcoming voice.
But the little girl obviously didn’t hear his reserve as she vaulted up at him. “We’a saw ya on the news! U were great! She squealed in delight, as she hung on tight to one of his legs.
Jacen’s mouth opened in surprise as he looked to Jaina in confusion, but she just shrugged.
His eyebrows beetled together but he bent down to the girl. “Hey there sweetie, what’s you name?” He asked friendly.
Her bright eyes immediately lifted up to meet his and she giggled. “Allana, silly.” She answered playfully back.
Jacen smiled back, but when he looked her in her eyes he suddenly felt a bolt of energy burst within him. It was so great and startling that he nearly jumped back.
He slowly blinked back a couple times, wondering where that had came from. But that’s when a familiar face suddenly entered the scene.
He slowly stood back. “Tenal Ka.” He said in an almost stunned voice.
“Hey Jacen.” She welcomed in a weirdly held back tone. And Jacen could feel torn emotions within her.
He looked at her in confusion, then looking back down at the child and at the similarities between them he gestured to her. “I think I found your daughter.”
Tenal Ka nodded and a strange shadow went over her emotions. “So you did.” She responded.
Jacen nodded, but still neither of them moved and he felt something nagging him at the back of his mind, but couldn’t understand what it was telling him.
“Um…Jacen” she started. “Can we talk?”
Jacen nodded back as confused as ever. “Of course”.
“Good.” She said, then she regally walked past him and Jacen looked after her a moment before following with a still tightly gripped Allana on his leg.
Jaina watched them go…you have no idea Jacen; you just have no idea…
……………………..
“So what’s up?” Jacen asked as he carefully sat down on a hover chair sitting opposite of Tenal Ka.
She bit her lip and Jacen knew something was indeed up. Something big. And he wished it was good and not bad like everything else had turned out to be since he had been gone.
Allana finally let go of his leg. “Thata was fun! Do it aagian!” She squealed.
Tenal Ka looked down at her excited little girl and smiled. “Honey why don’t you leave him alone for a minute and let us talk, okay?” she asked gently.
Allana slowly turned back from Jacen to her mother and lightly pouted. “Why? I wanna be with Jacen.” She pleaded.
Tenal Ka eyes widened a little but Jacen solved her problems as he scooped up the little girl and sat her in his lap.
“Don’t worry, she’ll be quiet.” He answered for her, “isn’t that right Allana?” He asked carefully looking the little girl in the eyes again. But like just like before, he immediately felt something weird about it and it irritated him that he couldn’t figure out what it was.
“No, I don’t think she will.” Tenal Ka said raising a knowing eyebrow at her daughter and smiling despite herself on the inside at how well Allana had taken to Jacen. But it slightly disturbed her that Allana didn’t understand that this wasn’t the same Jacen that she normally knew.
Allana turned back to her mother again. “Ya I will!” She yelled a little too loud.
Tenal Ka met Jacen’s eyes and he saw something there that was unnerving him a little. After a moment though he turned back to the little leech on his lap.
“Hey Allana?” He asked playfully acting like he was about to tell her an exciting secret.
Her big round eyes looked at him with expectation. “What!?” she asked back excitedly.
“Did you know that this temple holds some of the best toys in the entire galaxy?” He asked with playful grin on his face.
“Really?” she asked as she bounded off his lap. “Let’s go!”
And with that Allana was out of sight as she mindlessly ran out of the room and down the halls searching desperately for the mysterious toys.
Tenal Ka shot him a worried look but he assured her. “Don’t worry; Jaina’s going to show her a tour of the temple.”
She laughed slightly. “Thank you.” She said still trying to get used to his face without thinking of Caedus.
Jacen narrowed his eyes at her. “If you’re here to yell at me about being gone so long, let me assure you that Jaina’s done…”
“Allana is Caedus’s daughter”.
“..Enough of that...Whoa. What did you say?” Jacen asked suddenly stopping what he was saying and looked at her like he didn’t hear her right. He couldn’t have.
Tenal Ka looked at him all business as she said it again. “Allana is Caedus’s daughter.”
Jacen’s eyes immediately widened as he slowly sat back. “What? But that’s…that’s...how?” He finally asked as he looked back up into her beautiful but sorrowful expression.
This was…he didn’t know what to think of this. He wanted to say it was horrible, but he wasn’t really sure if that was the proper word.
Tenal Ka swallowed, but she wasn’t the queen of Hapes because of soft emotions. She was going to have to fight past this just like she would anything else. Even if looking back up into the soft caring face she had forgotten brought up all kinds of ideas she didn’t want to feel again.
“I’m sorry; maybe I shouldn’t have told you.” She said standing back up as her heart started breaking again.
Jacen blinked a couple times before he reached for her hand. “No, I want to know.” He said biting back the feelings that cursed through his body at the touch.
She looked at him a little unsure but he pulled her back down into her chair.
She finally nodded though. “I don’t know what to tell you other than that. Caedus and I had a relationship, well until I found out what kind of person he really was.” She said fighting back the ever-present tears that had been most of her company the last few weeks since the events at Kashyyyk.
Jacen swallowed a lump he didn’t know that had been there as he just sat there in stunned silence.
And when he looked back up into Tenal Ka’s eyes he saw the tears that were waiting on standby at the corners of her eyes. He understood why too, she was afraid he was going to hurt her too. And that hurt him more then she would ever know. But she had had the guts to come talk to him, so that counted as something. Didn’t it?
“I don’t know what to say.” Jacen spoke with his voice coming out husky. “Except that I’m really sorry that this happened to you. More than ever now, I wish I had never left on that force journey, then none of this…”
“Would have happened?” She asked with a raised eyebrow. “Jacen you can’t blame yourself for that, if you hadn’t left then you might not have become powerful enough to beat Caedus in the first place. The force always has its reason’s Jacen, just trust it.” She spoke stronger then she felt, and although she wished he hadn’t left. She believed every word she had said.
Jacen gulped, he hadn’t thought of it that way. And that was powerful.
“Maybe…” he began.
“No,” she interrupted. “It’s a fact.”
Despite himself he smiled at that. “Well then, what happens now?” He asked, wondering if he would like the answer. He really liked Allana so far and hoped he could do something. Even though he was a little disturbed at the fact that she was the daughter of his evil clone and his ex-girlfriend.
“Well”, she started looking at him a little shyly. “Allana could really use a father figure at the moment, and I could really use a friend.”
Jacen smiled at that.
“That sounds like a great idea to me.”
But as they sat smiling at each other, they were soon interrupted when Luke ran into the room holding up the note from Mara.
“Jacen we have a problem.” He spoke with alarm.
Jacen looked at him in confusion. “What’s wrong?”
“Well let’s just say this note doesn’t hold anything good and sweet. But there’s apparently a little more to this sith problem then we thought. As in a whole order of sith!”
Jacen’s mouth dropped open and it suddenly seemed the galaxy was about to be thrown yet into another tantrum. But once again, there would be and always would be a Jacen Solo to put it all back together.
He truly was Invincible.
The end

Um I'm not really sure about him adopting Allana formally, he's just probably going to be there more like a friend thats like a father figure. Well that is until Tenal Ka and Jacen fall in love and get married and live happily ever...okay i'm getting a little ahead of myself here

lol your not the only one, all this feedback is doing it to me too. your welcome and you deserved it, those ideas were brilliant!
I'm happy and sad at the same time, I kinda wanted to finish, but then kinda didn't
okay, yay questions! I feel like i'm being interviewed
1. um....not really sure expect redoing like a ton of the first few chapters and making them longer with better conversations. And I think I would have had Ben and Jacen talk to each other some, since Ben was really effected a lot by Jacen in profic. I think I should have done a little more with that. but oh well.
2. Sequel? Um I'm really not sure about that. I don't know where I would go with that. I had wrote this simply because I didn't like where Profic was going with Jacen, and decided to think of a way that it could end it differently. But maybe, we'll see. and if it does happen, it probably won't be for a while.
3. umm...what do you think Smash? I thought we were going to start on our fanfic when I got back in the fall? That is if your done with Emergence by then...
